The other day I decided to log into my Youtube Channel with my sister. It was so weird seeing all of my old Youtube videos. Definitely brought a smile to my face though as I think back to that time.
It's amazing to see how I was back then and to see how much I've grown since then also. So I decided I would share those videos again!

So recently I had the privelige of recording with Kevin Mc Call. He was such a nice guy so talented and very down to earth! He did Deuces with Chris Brown as well as Stripped with Chris Brown. We definitely clicked in the studio.

We made an amazing song together written from scratch! The song just makes you want to get up & dance.

Can't wait to put the full version out, but in this video you can get a little taster of it!

Very soon the video to my first single featuring Juelz Santana and Rio from Manchester will be releasing for the Summer! So I'm extremely excited!!

My Recent Trip To London

So I was back in London recently. Feels like it's been such a long time since I've been there. It really was like a trip down memory lane for me. I got to visit where I used to work and all!
I honestly had such an amazing trip from start to finish it was unreal and just more than what I could have even asked for.

The whole purpose of my trip was for music though. I linked up with an old friend of mine Autumn Rowe. She is such an incredible singer and songwriter. We met a long time ago over in New Jersey and stayed in touch ever since. This lady has written songs for Leona Lewis "Collide" Cher Lyod "Swagger Jager" and even Alexis Jordan "Good Girl" to name some of her work. I'm really in awe of her! She has achieved so much and yet through everything she is still so down to earth and humble.
Writing with her was a great experience for me. We got really personal, so the song we wrote really means a lot to me and is reflective of what I'm going through right now. I'm really proud of it and can't wait to share it :)

After a night out we even met up for food with one of Autumns best friends, Leona Lewis. She was so down to earth though and such a lovely girl also.

London was great and I just can't wait to get back there again.

Hurricane Sandy - The Aftermath

Wouldn't usually blog about this kind of thing but this was so shocking and surreal that I thought I'd share my experience first hand in the Rockaways.

I don't think anybody expected the damage and destruction hurricane Sandy brought.

It was really weird to see so much damage especially in a place like New York. It was unfathomable.

I can only imagine how horrifying it must have been for the families closest to the coast. The boardwalk was completely ripped apart to shreds.

The sand had been moved into the middle of the streets in dunes. There were plenty of car pile ups. Felt like I was looking at toy cars when I saw 3 cars piled on top of one another. That just shows how powerful Sandy was.

Taking donations home

There was major flooding in the area. A local shopkeeper told me they had water up to their countertops, they said they had been more prepared for hurricane Irene. So this one took them by surprise. They had lost 5 cars in the family, 3 of which were brand new.

Some buildings had burnt to the ground. Leaving behind nothing but rubble. In one area I saw that 3 business's had burnt to the ground and 2 homes behind that had also been demolished. There was a real air of sadness and loss in the town.

I was lucky enough to be staying Uptown. We lost power for 4 days but these people in the Rockaways had lost their power for over a week along with the flooding. There was such a coldness and dampness in the buildings after the flooding that it can hardly be explained. And the smell it brought was just unbearable.

New York did pull together though and made so many donations. Diapers, cleaning products, hot food etc.

Donations that were made

Volunteers were there in groups , every group had a different colour shirt. In such a time of need it was nice to see everyone there to make a difference.

There were people with shovels and buckets everywhere to get rid of the sand. Along with trucks to take the debris away. Obviously traffic lights were completely out so cops were everywhere to direct traffic. There had been ambulance crews set up nearby and plenty of soldiers had been sent in also.

I honestly have never witnessed anything like this in my life. It looked like a total war zone.

Unfortunately some people saw opportunity in this awful situation.

Sadly I saw looters. They had stolen a huge flat screen tv in broad daylight from a nearby house & had put towels over it to move it.

It's just sad to be honest. Some people lost their lives to mind their homes for that very reason.

One lady told me her house was shaking so much she really expected to die, luckily she did survive.

Anyway that's my experience in the Rockaways it's a reminder how powerful Mother Nature really is. Possessions can be wiped out in the blink of an eye and they aren't of much importance when someone loses a life.

Sending prayers and love to anyone effected by Sandy and especially to the families of those whose lives were sadly taken away.

I met my brother over there, he showed me around Piccadilly Circus & Leicester Square!

It sort of reminded me of a mini New York.

I recorded my very first music video in L.A last week!!!

It was beyond exciting. I had so much fun & met so many cool people

The location was unbelievable. We were in the Beverly Hills

overlooking all of Hollywood!

Snoop Dogg had just recorded his video at the same location on Monday lol

Chris Brown & Big Sean also did their "My Last" video there too.

So it really was a dream come true to be able to do my video there also.

Hey guys,

I had bits and pieces of video footage from my recent trip over to the United Arab Emirates so I decided that I would put them all together and make a video to share the moment with everyone!! I was brought over there along with DJ Ray Shah to perform for New Years Eve.

I had the time of my life. It was like Summer in the middle of Winter!! Everything was so new and different!
I can't wait to go back there again very soon!!

One of the coolest things over there was the billboard they put up before the New Year's Eve show!
That was pretty crazy!!

Wow summer is finally over & I am back in New York!

I had an AMAZING summer with my friends & family.

Home is truly where the heart is, but the time comes when I have to get back on my grind & get my music finished!

For the past two weeks I have just been singing non stop, getting back in shape & working.

Remembering Elvis Presley today

Hard to believe that today marked the 34th anniversary of Elvis's death.
I grew up listening to his music & I've always been so inspired by him as an artist!
Ironically my mom named me after his daughter Lisa Marie Presley, so my full name is Lisa Marie Peters lol
Little did she know at the time that I would end up doing music.

That's the closest I've ever gotten to Elvis lol This was taken in L.A at a wax museum a couple of months ago!! I have alot more to share from that trip.. So stay tuned :)

Wow so - 2010! ! ! ! ! What a year it has been! Truly unforgettable and nothing short of a roller coaster ride! From extreme adrenaline rushes , to bolts and jolts along the way. It certainly has been quite a journey.

I hope everybody can look back on this past year, and count their blessings.

Now let's party like ROCKSTARS tonight !! :)

Wow it feels like forever since I have done any type of update. I've been incredibly busy with music for the past 2 months! Training, writing& recording non-stop in New York! I can't wait to share my work with everyone soon!

Looking back on the past two months, it really has been quite an experience! I got to attend the VMA awards in L.A. It was great to come face to face with all of the artists I admire. From start to finish it was an amazing production!

Then back to New York. I did a shoot for the November issue of VN Beauty Magazine. This magazine was released in New York and a few surrounding states. Here is a preview from that shoot!

Also on the modeling front I was asked to do a fashion show for the United Nations! That's upcoming, so i'll give more details on that closer to the time! I'm super excited!!

Had a great Halloween over here! I partied the night away with Ashanti in club Fusion. What a night that was!

Interesting fact about her: "She broke records by having three top ten songs, "Foolish," "What's Luv?" and "Always on Time" on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in the same week, being the first woman to accomplish this feat and being second only to the Beatles"

VMA awards in L.A!!

I have finally reached Hollywood! I absolutely love it here. Great weather & cool people what more could I ask for!

I'm really excited to share with everyone that I got a ticket to the VMA awards that is taping live on Sunday the 12th at the Nokia Theatre here in LA!

I think it's going to be epic! If it's anything close to the 2006 VMA awards in New York, I'm in for an awesome show!!
