The series features Close Up Magician Cross, who travels around the UK amazing members of the public, and some of the most high profiled celebrities around. The show was created with No Budget and will boast some of the most exciting close up magic effects which have never really featured in a filmed series before. This episode sees Cross back in Manchester, where he performs a sickening effect to the lads from Coronation Street. He then heads to Birmingham to meet up with a few cast members from the award winning BBC show Doctors.

I've been busy editing down The Writer to 2min 20s. It's now completed the 2nd cut and hit the timing marks. I'm 99% happy with it as well. I'll be working to get that 100% then onto sound effects, music and grading and it’ll be ready to go, we hope to have it uploaded to the competition site this week then we’ll have a blog with the writer, actor, myself and cinematographer.

As always, the Blood Red Shoes gave a good performance live. Cracking selection of songs, mainly off their first and second albums with 2 or 3 of the new tracks thrown in for good measure. They've been touring long enough to know exactly what their crowd wants to hear though and all the singles and awesome tracks are there. The banter is also good as well, with Steven constantly chatting away to the crowd. Laura always giving a meek little thanks after each song gets applause. Have to love her out of the blue 'this is your last chance to go fucking mental' though before the final track! A couple of pics and a video to finish off...
