The day started off great (and 16*), a few of us met up for brunch at Pulino's, where I was super excited to try the breakfast pizza. YUMMY! We started the meal off with coffee and their delicious almond croissants and than had our dishes. Such a great idea.

On our way to the next stop we noticed that Orchard was blocked off for some reason, and we decided to take full advantage of the gorgeous day and the big empty street by baptizing it with cart wheels.

This was also the day that I realized Joy and I are meant to be friends forever. I can pretty much get this girl to do anything, and that makes me love her the most.

Our next stop was the Krause Gallery for the super awesome 'Hanksy' exhibit. Hanksy is a Lower East Side street artist who's art mimics Banksy, the notorious London street artist, but with a Tom Hanks twist. Of course this perfectly summarizes my weird sense of humor, so I was all about it. I even bought a piece, which now makes me an art collector. How exciting! I'm almost a grown up! (I'll send pictures of what I bought after I pick it up)

Afterwards, we stopped by The Angelica Theatre to see The Artist, which needless to say, is an amazing film that everyone needs to go see. And headed home.

I was running an errand last week and turned the corner to find this.

RANDOM.

The guy must have been shooting a video of himself since it didn't look like he had anyone helping him, which makes me wonder how he got around with that thing. Anyways, he was gone 20 mins later when I was walking back to my office.

It's these lovely wonders that make me love the nut jobs that live in NYC.

I watched my boss' cute pup, Lucy over the weekend. It was fun to have such a sweetheart to come home to, but made me realize that I am not responsible enough to have any living things right now. I can barely keep myself fed and walked.

We also got a sh*t ton of snow Friday night which made everything more difficult on Saturday.

Good thing I didn't have any plans this weekend.

The National at the Beacon Theatre

Alex invited me to see her favorite band with her at the Beacon Theatre a few weeks ago. If it sounds familiar, its because I sat in the 2nd row with Alexis during Conan that was filming there a few months back. Of course this time I sat in the nose bleed section, but that by no means made the concert any less amazing.

Brooklyn Bridge Bootcamp

Hung out at Ariane's DVD launch party last night at Nimble Fitness.

I've taken many sessions of her Slim & Strong program and have taken classes on the bridge and in Central Park. She is amazing and definitely helped kick off my motivation for running and working out.

I love this girl!

Christmas 2011 in Sunny CA

My intention was to go home for a few days to visit family and friends over the Christmas holiday. I ended up staying for almost 10 days! Wowsers... BUT I did a whole lot of visiting while I was in town, which is exactly what I needed; to let me know I'm really not missing out on much.

After wards we took a drive up to the hills in Glendale to see the first house I ever lived in.

Karla and I wanted to take a photo with Santa but the line was crazy long, so instead we took a picture near Santa in out best tacky, holiday gear.

My oldest (meaning I've known her longer than any body else) friend Nikki got married to the love of her life, Eli on December 24th. It was a gorgeous wedding and reception without a dry eye in the house!

Felt like 2003 all over again!

It was so nice to be home for a few days. I got to see a majority of my friends and spend lots of quality time with my family. I'm so blessed to have so many people in my life. Thanks to everyone who made time to let me giggle at them and catch up on our hectic lives. Much love to all of you!

Melissa and I were walking home after a girl's dinner when we came across this amazing neon ballerina practicing her moves in Columbus Circle. It was quite a sight to see. I'm pretty sure she's probably a professional since Lincoln Center is just up the street.

I have always been so enthralled with Sinatra's arrest and saw this picture in a frame shop the other day. I love that he was such a bad boy.
