Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics (OCC) is known for their awesome liquid lip colors -AKA- Lip Tars. Just when you think it can not possibly get any better they come out with Lip Tar Stained gloss, which is a transparent concentrated gloss. David Klasfeld CEO and Creative Director of OCC says they were inspired by stained glass and lighting gels (you will get it the second you apply these stains) keeping true to their opaque color heritage while adding a transparency.

At the Makeup Show NYC I was able to get my hands on three of the six shades, Rhythm Box, New Wave, and Androgyne.

I still don't know how I feel about this one but hopefully when I tan I'll love it. This is a great pick for those who want to experiment with orange color for their lips but don't want to go full on with a lipstick.

Spring is finally in the air (nyc) and now the fun begins! From clothing to shoes and followers in the garden color is all around. One of my favorite places to have fun with color is on my lips. Revlon's new Colorburst Lip Butters help me do just that.

The Packaging is the same as always in the plastic case with a see-through window on top to see the color.

The color payoff is amazing as usual and the moisture is definitely there. I love how these make my lips feel buttery soft all while making me look good!

During the warmer season my favorite thing to sport is my skin. Having a smooth, even and brighter complexion just got easier to achieve with this Lush Fresh Face Mask Brazened Honey. My final thoughts:

I am in love with this mask! I have used it three times so far and my skin definitely looks brighter and feels smoother. It is very stimulating, but the feeling subsides quickly. I do find that the ground almonds do a great job at exfoliating the dead skin and the Honey definitely leaves my skin very moisturized. Once the mask is rinsed off my skin is glowing and full of moisture not a tight smile around!!

Hey Beauties,

Recently I was gifted L'oréal true match and shadow compacts by a friend and thought "I don't use enough drugstore makeup why not a tutorial and review" So here it is:

True Match Foundation:

I absolutely love it, it didn't feel heavy and the wear lasted longer than I expected. The coverage was medium and the finish was dewy. This foundation was easy to wash off, which is really important to me. It's sold at drugstores which means you can't test it out before purchasing leaving you with the guessing game for picking the correct shade, other than that I recommend this foundation to anyone with dry skin or normal to dry. If you have oily skin and want to try this out be sure to use a primer (which I recommend for every skin type) and set with a setting powder to help the longevity of the foundation wear.

Hey Beauties,

As some of you may know or not know I follow the curly girl method of hair care and styling. What is the CGMethod? It's basically NO Silicones or Sulfates, Combs or brushes and No shampoo (natural or not) approach to hair care. What that means for me is always trying out a new natural conditioner for co-washing (conditioner wash) and conditioning the hair.

While visiting my sister I needed to cleanse my hair, not having my go to co-washing product I was in search for a conditioner and came across Avalon Organics Lavender Nourishing Conditioner which I had wanted to try for some time now.

Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (1), Aqua (Water), Glyceryl Stearate SE, Caprylic/Capric

Triglyceride, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil (1) , Cetyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Stearyl Alcohol, (Olive) Fruit Oil (1), Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract (1), Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract (1), Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract (1), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) (1), Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Oil, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil (1), Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Sorbitol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Alcohol (1), Benzyl Alcohol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Coumarin, Limonene, Linalool

What This Product Claims to do:

Rich plant emollients plus nourishing Wheat Protein, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E, Guar and Lavender condition and nourish each hair strand for smooth, healthy-looking results.

Pros and Cons:

Pros: Amazing ingredients being used on the hair. Smells out of the world delicious! Light weight so my hair was very bouncy and big after.

Cons: Very little slip, unless I used a lot of product (and I mean a lot), The moisture I felt in my hair was only while product was in my hair once it was rinsed out so was the moisturized feeling.

Final Thoughts:

For the price and ingredients I expected a better experience. Everyones hair is different so don't judge a product by my experience you might love it.. I won't be purchasing this again, However I will try awapuhi mango therapy deep moisturizing conditioner and olive grape seed extra moisturizing conditioner.

I am a fan of all natural products for my hair and skin so when mistress Kesha Ward who is a licensed esthetician reached out to me to try some of her body butters I couldn't pass up the chance. Kesha sent me two amazing smelling butters like none I've ever smelled before Peach Sangria and Frutti Tootie.

Brand History:

Kesha Ward has been a licensed esthetician since 2006 where interest start to spark to create her own skin and body products that were cruelty free, which was a big deal for her being that she is vegetarian. Kesha eventually opened her own spa where she used a more holistic approach to skincare, after the economy went downhill she had to close her spa, but continued to create products from home which her clients were extremely happy about. Realizing that she was using avocado, Shea, coconut, sunflower and a bunch of other natural butters the brand was named "It's All Buttah"

What You Can Purchase: Body Butters and Lotion Bars!

My Thoughts: Peach Sangria was more of a solid butter with the texture of raw Shea butter while Fruttie Tootie is more of a whipped creamy texture. As you rub them into the skin they melt into a non greasy oil consistency, however they don't sit on the skin but are easily absorbed into the skin. I made the mistake of leaving the Frutti Tootie out of the refrigerator and it melted never solidifying again..lol (my fault). I used Peach Sangria to the last bit and loved it.

I definitely recommend Peach Sangria to everyone who needs more moisture to the skin..It's my favorite. However I say try them all see what you like!
