Explosion Box

I belong to the website Myscraproom they host many swaps there each month and for the last couple of months I have participated in several of them, its a lot of fun. The most recent one was an explosion box. I have never made one of these, but after watching a few videos on Youtube I decided to give it a try. My partner was Gina and she was recently married and wanted a box to display her wedding pictures. Her color theme was Pumpkin Orange and Chocolate Brown.. The paper I used was K & Company Sparkly Sweet and I also used matching embellishments. I loved making this box and will start another one tonight for a special young lady who has a birthday coming up.. Thanks for stopping by...

Great Weekend

What a fantastic weekend I have had. Got to spend most of it with my grandson, David. Love the weekends when both his Mom and Dad have to work... Gives me great Mimi time. He had his first swimming lesson on Saturday and I got to take him... Was great fun... I am now working on some ATC for a swap at Your Paper Pantry.. I have just recently joined that site.. I just love doing swaps and the other sites I belong to seem to have slowed down on the swaps... I will post pictures when I am done... For now here is a darling picture of Baby David that I took today..

paper piecing digital stamps

I just tried laying (paper piecing) a stamp for the first time last night... I am thrilled on how it came out.. I used meljens designs swirly daisy pot digital stamp and it was a thank you card so I also bought Gratitude Sentiments set they can both be found at Whimsy Stamps. So today layering is my favorite thing about stamping.. I love learning new techniques.. I'm not happy with this picture, but for some reason the server will not let me upload another one.. Kinderstampo's January tag swap

This is my first month participating in Kinder0stamp's tag swaps, her theme this month is, "Wishing you a Peachy Birthday." And her guest tag swapper is Peachy Keen Stamp Queen, Kathy! I had been really really wanting to get a set of Peachy Keen Stamps, so this swap was my incentive to purchase my first set. I got "Everyday Character Face Assortment". I used the Minto Flower from Myscrapchick and the tag cut I found on the MTC gallery. My paper is Nana's Nursery from DCWV.. I'm really excited to see everyone's tags.. Thanks for looking.

Hello ...... Today is going to be a very stressful day at work... An Audit,, YUK. Oh well I think I am prepared. On the better note, the crafty note. I have started on my first order of Calendars. They will be on their way to NY in just a few day. I am super excited to get this order and actually have a few more. I started up a facebook page which details all of my work and shows pictures of what I have made so far. Now I just have to figure out how to link my blog to my facebook.. I know it can be done. Anyone who has a clue please leave it in the comment box. Although I opened this blog over a year ago, I never was very active on it so I really do not know the ins and outs of it yet, but I'm sure I will figure it out with time..

Blog Blog Blog, what to blog about. I'm not much of a writer, but I do love to show off my creations. I am a digital scrapper, but have recently purchased a cricut which has made me do an about face and now I am paper crafting. I love making cards, names for my grandkids bedroom walls. I just finished my first cricut cut swap over at Paper Crafts by Candace She does awesome work and has some great ideas. Another of my favorite blogs is Made by Momo she does great step by step videos.. I am just starting a Christmas tag swap. I think I am going with a Christmas Penguin. I need to make a trip to Joann's to get some Christmas Card Stock.. Who know if I get enough followers of my blog I will do my own swap. But first lets see how well I keep up with my Blog..
