Yes, I took the occasion of the horrific Kermit Gosnell infant murder trial to discuss the importance of eradicating the evil practice of killing our unborn babies for convenience. Despite the obvious taking of the life of one's own flesh and blood daughter or son, abortions have been shown for years, to dramatically increase the odds that mothers who choose to abort their 1st baby will contract breast cancer.

A viewer named Shannon, called into Lisa's show to offer her testimony as to how Planned Parenthood pressured her to abort her son or face losing her benefits. As Shannon explained the people from family planning lied to her and told her it was just a "blood clot."
Abortion is a life and death issue for baby and mother and we need to stop couching our discussion in politically correct language so as not to offend those women who made the so called choice to abort.

I continue to pray for those would-be mothers and beg them to reexamine their "choice" so that other young women will not put their health at risk by making the same "choice."

My name is Jason Schmidt. I’m an Oregonian, small business owner, and a concealed handgun license holder. I am opposing all of the anti-gun bills being heard today.

CHL Holders must:

- Not have any outstanding warrants or be free on any form of pre-trial release

- Never have been convicted of a felony

- Not have been convicted of a misdemeanor in the last four years

- Not be a registered sex offender

- Not have a stalking or restraining order against them

- Pass a background check

- Provide written documentation that demonstrates they have taken a handgun safety course

As you can see, We CHL holders are law abiding citizens that have the right to protect ourselves and our families. Where ever that may be, like at home, on the road, in a school, or public building or property. These bills being heard today are only going to punish us law abiding citizens. They will NOT affect criminals at all.

Looking at shooting tragedies in the last decade, you can find two common traits among the killers.

1. They all were on or recently off of psychotropic drugs suchs as Prozac, Paxil, or Ritalin.

2. NONE of them were CHL holders.

Stop punishing law abiding citizens.

That claim about 40% of gun sales lack background checks is a lie. It’s a 20 year old survey that targeted the years 1993 and 1994. If you remember, 1994 was the year the Brady Act requirements for background checks went into effect. This survey only sampled 251 people, with a response rate of 50% which is 125 people. Out of that response, 35.7% of them said they acquired a gun without a background check. Somehow 35.7% can be rounded up to 40%. Once they added in the account that some of these guns were from family inheritance, that percentage dropped to 26.4%, which equates to just 33 people out of 251.

How can 33 people surveyed 20 years ago be used as a national statistic? If not to only further a gun control agenda fueled by ignorance and hate.

Yesterday at 6pm after listening to the evidence for 4 days the honorable Clackamas County Circuit Court jury delivered their opinion 11-0 in favor of the highly decorated Vietnam War Veteran, Mack Arthur Woods. This was the first time the statewide Professional Liability Fund has been forced to respond to a jury's decision in an attorney malpractice lawsuit.

Oregon is the only state in the US that has a monopoly malpractice insurance fund running heard over the rights of the people. This system has allowed conflict of interest to permeate the process in favor of all members of the Oregon Bar Association for far too long.

The felons are seeking to cancel out the votes of legitimate United States citizens, with the votes of illegal aliens who should be deported for breaking into our country, taking our jobs and bankrupting our taxpayer funded social safety net.

I have found just the right law to allow us to enforce our sacred right to vote. 254.415 allows us to challenge the eligibility of any potential voter who we legitimately registered voters believe is not a US citizen. For example, those voters who require a ballot in any other language than English and any candidate for political office who we may believe is not a US citizen.

These individuals would then be required to present their US birth certificate in order to be allowed to cast their vote since the law clearly states that you must be a US citizen in order to vote in the USA. Legal residents are not allowed to vote and those who crossed our boarders illegally are not only ineligible to vote but they are ineligible to reside within our boarders. In order to be sworn in as true United States citizen you must pass the citizenship test and be able to pass an English test. Therefore if you don't speak the English you are most likely not a US citizen.

254.415 Challenging ballot of person offering to vote; statement of challenge. (1) The county clerk, an elections official or any elector shall challenge the ballot of any person offering to vote whom the clerk, official or elector knows or suspects not to be qualified as an elector.

(2) The clerk, official or elector challenging the ballot shall make, under oath or affirmation before a county clerk or other elections official, a written and numbered statement of challenge. The statement shall contain the name and residence address of the challenger, the name of the person challenged and a statement of the facts upon which the challenge is based.

Right Triumphs Over Wrong At Last

On March 26, 2013 for perhaps the first time ever the Professional Liability Fund (PLF) monopoly will be forced to defend their actions in front of a jury. After 9 long years, Mack Arthur Woods has outlasted the corrupt legal protection racket endemic here in Oregon.

The very fact that I am writing this as an actual news story, shows the magnitude of this corrupt system. The injustice began when Mack's own lawyer struck a deal that delivered most of his hard earned assets to his unfaithful new wife.

Mack wanted justice, simple enough until you consider the full weight of every attorney in Oregon was arraigned against his right to a jury trial. The intimidation tactics used against this brave Vietnam veteran for having the audacity to demand his day in court were outrageous. When every attorney in Oregon relies on low annual malpractice insurance premiums, then every attorney in Oregon has a vested interest in settling all attorney malpractice lawsuits outside of court or without the risk of a jury trial.

Apparently in an effort to maintain affordable premiums, the PLF has their member attorneys and judges discourage jury trials by any means possible. Including purposely misinterpreting the law and in some cases by ordering plaintiffs, like Mack Woods, to pay bogusly large court fees to prevent them from pursuing a remedy through a jury of their peers.

This record setting trial begins jury selection today at the Clackamas County Circuit Court on Main ST in Oregon City. May God grant Mack the reparations he so clearly deserves for the wrongs that were done to him by Oregon's legal system.

Right may very well win the day and it could not happen to a more honorable patriot than my friend Mack Arthur Woods.

Ask for a NO VOTE This bill virtually eliminates PCRs' elections. HB2738 also takes away certain voting rights of elected PCPs vs appointed PCPs.

HB 3304 ** FIRST PUBLIC HEARING: Creates Commission on Fitness of County Clerks to appoint county clerks, hold hearings upon complaints concerning conduct of county clerk and censure or remove county clerks for cause. Ask for a NO VOTE

Clerks are locally elected and accountable to local citizens. This bill calls for a drastic change in the way we choose and recall the office of County Clerk a total assault on Local Control It creates and expensive and potentially abusive bureaucracy to oversee County Clerks. All of the current selection and discipline of these Clerks is changed. They are subject to a hearing on the accusation of One citizen and some of the information that is presented in the hearings done by the 'Masters' may be hidden from the public, see Section 5 of this bill. HJR 32 FIRST PUBLIC HEARING: Proposes amendment to Oregon Constitution toremove county clerks from elective officials of county. Ask for a NO VOTE!!
This bill calls for drastic change in the way we choose and recall the office of County Clerk and it is a total assault on Local Control This bill is subject to the public vote. Currently these Clerks are locally elected and accountable to local citizens through the election and recall process. Recalls are already set forth in Article ll Section 18 of our Oregon Constitution. ( ***or see quotation at bottom of this letter) This is an Extraordinary Assult on our Constitutional rights.

ASK for a VOTE NO, sets up a nanny gossip reporting system from all agencies to update electors registration information. This includes VERBAL information given to any department. Communication is not always done well, now start to include verbal communications, misspelling misunderstandings, multiple things can make this process not work especially by a third party. Communication about the electors information should be left to the elector. Voter registration misinformation can result in a class 3 felony charge for the elector.

TriMet's suing the North Clackamas Park District on a promise that the District didn't make

TriMet has sued Clackamas County and the North Clackamas Park and Recreation District (run by the county commissioners), alleging that the county and the district are breaking a promise to convey two parcels of land to TriMet for the Milwaukie light rail. Whether or not TriMet is correctly suing the county, it's suing the district for a promise that the district didn't make. Here's what TriMet says in paragraph 42 of its complaint: TriMet has requested that the District enter into an agreement to convey the Trolley Trail Property to TriMet for the [light rail] Project, consistently with the District's duties under the IGA [the Inter-Governmental Agreement among TriMet, the County, and the District] and Trolley Trail IGA [an agreement between TriMet and the district]. In exchange for the transfer, TriMet has offered to convey to the District an adjacent property, to construct a trail on that property at no cost to the District, and to provide the District with additional compensation. To date, the District has refused to enter into such an agreement. In other words, TriMet is telling the court that the two inter-governmental agreements require the district to sell TriMet the Trolley Trail Property (a portion of the Trolley Trail that the park district owns and has been using for a bike and pedestrian trail). TriMet and its lawyers are putting words in the district's mouth. The district didn't make that promise. Here's what the district actually promised in the inter-governmental agreement: Section 1.5(b): "The Parties acknowledge and agree that all roadways, sidewalks, streets, and trails owned by or under the control of the County or District that are improved as part of the Project shall remain under control of the County or District with any ownership rights it has prior to construction of the Project, provided that the portion of the roadway on which trackwork is placed shall be subject to FTA's [the Federal Transportation Administration's] continuing control requirements and shall be operatied and maintained in perpetuity by TriMet as part of TriMet's system." In other words, the park district's property remains the park district's property. Section 6.1: "By execution of this Agreement, the Parties agree to negotiate in good faith the terms and conditions of all other agreements that may be reasonably required or desired to design, construct, and maintain the Project, which may include * * * right-of-way acquisition and permitting." In other words, the county and the park district will negotiate in good faith other agreements that may be reasonably required to build the light rail line. That's as close as the district comes to promising to give TriMet any property. What you won't find in the inter-governmental agreement is any promise by the district to sell or give TriMet the Trolley Trail Property. You also won't find that promise in the other inter-governmental agreement, the one made by TriMet and the park district in April 2012. All you will find is the district agreeing to allow TriMet access onto the property to build the light rail line, and obligating TriMet to build the Trolley Trail on the property from Park Avenue to River Road. The district wouldn't need to give TriMet permission to build the trail if TriMet were to be the owner of the property. In short, TriMet's suing the Park District to enforce a promise that the district didn't make. Let's hope that the district's lawyers read the contracts more carefully than TriMet did.

If I were to ask you who is the world's largest petroleum producer, you would likely say Saudi Arabia or Russia. But as of the latest data available from US Energy Information Administration, it is the United States: http://www.aei-ideas.org/2013/03/us-was-worlds-largest-petroleum-producer-in-november-surpassing-saudi-arabia-for-first-time-in-ten-years/ The United States produced more petroleum in November 2012 than Saudi Arabia and is likely to widen its lead in coming years as the fracking/horizontal drilling revolution takes full hold here. Because we overtook Saudi Arabia late in 2012, the yearly totals still show us as #2, with Russia #3. No other countries are close, although China and Canada are #4 and #5 respectively. As Washington Post editorial writer Robert J. Samuelson (who specializes in economic issues) pointed out recently, this surge in oil production has been one of the bright spots in our economy, helping to offset the bad news. That is likely why President Obama has not followed the demands of his radical followers and shutdown fracking. Were he to do so at this point, the United States would suddenly find itself largely unable to produce any oil or natural gas. In places like California, where the radicals are in control, oil production has not blossomed the way it will eventually when the electorate realizes that they have a way out of the economic swamp they have created for themselves. Meanwhile, I imagine California politicians gradually sinking into the Los Angeles tar swamp known as 'Rancho La Brea.' Perhaps one day we will be able to recover their skulls and display them at the nearby museum that now has only Ice Age mammals! How would we label them? Homo sapiens neanderthalensis? or Homo heidelbergensis? or Homo rhodesiensis? or just archaic humans? I favor something like neanderthalensis, because they were largely an evolutionary dead end.

This past weekend I had a private dinner with three Congressmen. I can't tell you who they are, other than one is the chairman of a powerful committee, the second the chairman of another major committee, the third a freshman. I can't tell you where the dinner took place either.

Ostensibly, we gathered to discuss threats to national security such as Islamic terrorism, Iran, Pakistan support for the Afghan Taliban, and the Chicoms. After we got into this for a while, I decided to see what would happen if I said what I really wanted to say:

"Fellas, what about the single greatest threat to America's national security, far greater than anything else? That's the traitor in the White House."

I expected them to recoil in shock and dismay, but they didn't blink an eye. All three nodded grimly in agreement.

"This is so off the record, Jack," said one, "but that's what we know is true. How dare we even hint this publicly without being destroyed by a tsunami of smears and hate by the media? That's the question."

"There might have been grounds during his first term for cutting him some slack," said another, "...maybe... but now it's clear as Boodles gin that his goal really is to destroy our country and its preeminence in the world." He was a decorated Vietnam Vet, so he focused on the military. "That's why a major priority of his is to damage our military. That's why he wants that p**** Hagel, whose job will be to maximize the damage."

"Being from Texas," spoke up the third, "I can tell you the only thing he hates more than Texas and the Second Amendment is fracking. Fracking and cheaper energy are what's preventing our economy from sinking into the pit he wants it in. That's why he keeps up the 'climate change' claptrap, the attacks on the basis of life - carbon - calls for carbon taxes, blocking fracking on federal lands, blocking Keystone, on and on. In fact,everything he does is designed to crush our economy."

Wow. I frankly did not expect such an unabashed outpouring of disgust and contempt by Congressmen towards the President of the United States - but they were just getting started.

"And to pay off his cronies. Obama is the greatest crook who's ever occupied the Oval Office. No president in US history comes remotely close. Fracking will kill off all his crooked subsidies for his buddies' 'renewable energy' scams, which will then kill off his buddies' payoffs to the Democrat Party. Another reason he hates fracking."

"But it's not just an assault on our economy. He's making a frontal assault on our culture, our moral foundations, our very existence as a cohesive society. Everything he does is to divide us against each other, by race, by class, or any other division he can get a wedge into. He wants amnesty and citizenship for tens of millions of illegal aliens not just to get an insuperable number of Democrat votes, but to create a culturally divided society, divided by hate and envy."

"His assault on guns and the demonization of the Second Amendment is a key part of his agenda. As we here all know, the constitutional purpose of an armed citizenry is not hunting for food or defense against criminals, it's protection against government tyranny. Anybody in government, any politician or bureaucrat, needs to be afraid of the citizenry, which is why the citizenry needs to be armed. Obama wants to take people's guns away not so there will be less violence but that there will be more violence - not criminal violence but government violence upon now defenseless people."

I asked, "What's his end-game, then? What does he want to ultimately accomplish?" The answers:

"There are three kinds of traitors - people betray their country for money, or fear - blackmail or threat, say their family will be killed - or the worst, hate. Obama's the third kind. He was raised in hate by that Commie Frank Marshall Davis, whom many think was his real father, his mother devoted her life to drowning in white liberal guilt. He's devoured by envious hate of all that America stands for and has accomplished, and is dedicated to tearing it down in revenge."

"Well, let's face it. He's one of these narcissistic, charismatic sociopaths history has been bedeviled with for millennia. These folks are pathological liars, they care nothing for 'the people' whom they pretend to love, their lives are devoted to ruling over others and controlling their lives, they bring misery to those they rule yet are worshipped nonetheless. Obama-worship is like some kind of religious cult, whose high priests are the media elite. Obama feeds off it, so his desire for more power and creating more misery increases. The human capacity to worship such sociopaths is one of life's mysteries."

"I'm convinced he is increasing our debt to astronomically unsustainable levels not just to have the money to make more people dependent on government programs who will then vote Democrat. It's to destroy the dollar on purpose. That will cause such an economic collapse it will enable him to surrender most or all of US sovereignty to global institutions or some form of global government. His end-game is for America to cease to exist as a sovereign nation. That's why I agree that he's that third kind of traitor, it's all for hate and revenge."

All I could think of in response was to talk about Nietzsche (1844-1900). He wrote Twilight of the Idols in 1888, which contains one of most famous and least understood aphorisms:

That which does not kill me makes me stronger

In other words, taking and overcoming risks is what life is all about. If we don't, we vegetate and stagnate. If we don't put sufficient stress on our muscles, they will atrophy. If we put sufficiently acute (not chronic) stress on them, they will overcompensate and grow bigger and stronger. The same with our businesses, our careers, our lives.

After quoting Nietzsche, I said, "You guys have a choice. You can remain silent and express your convictions only privately. Make sure you say nothing that will put your reelection in dire jeopardy, never push the envelope of controversy too far. You may then accomplish something on the political margins by staying in office, but mostly you'll end up on the side of the status quo.

"Or you can stand up to this traitor and denounce him for what he is. Millions will hate you and the media will demonize you. But millions more will stand up with you and cheer. I know you're well aware that the very existence of our country is at stake. You're standing up and telling the truth about Zero could be the start of saving it."

"Jack, let me tell you a story," came a reply. "Not long ago, I held a townhall meeting in my district at the request of my Tea Party constituents. I'm a big supporter of the Tea Parties as you know. They were fired up, full of demands to cut spending for real, railing against this and that program which they thought should be eliminated (and so do I). So I asked them a question: The biggest problem by far in federal spending is the entitlement programs such as Social Security. In the interest of really cutting spending, how many of you would be willing to temporarily forego your Social Security check for a short time, say three months?

"There were well over 100 people there, many of them 50+. Guess how many hands went up? Realize that these were hard core Tea Party firebreathers. Not one. Not one single person raised their hand. It's easy to target us in office. And sure, we ought to be targeted. That's fair.

"And we can blame the moochers and the takers. But when even Tea Partyers are so addicted to government they can't imagine going without it even for a short while, we've got a far deeper problem than the moochers, the media, Hollywood, our colleagues on the other side of the aisle and the wimps on our side, or a traitor in the White House."

He looked at his two fellow Members. "Here's what really keeps us up at night, Jack. We're afraid - afraid that Zero, as you appropriately call him, is an effect, a consequence not a cause of what's happening to our country. We're afraid there is a rot in the American soul. Not all Americans, obviously - but enough to cause a national sickness, a cultural loss of confidence. So many people, including many Tea Partyers, believe in government more than in themselves."

There was the silence of agreement, then a glass of wine was raised. "I want to offer a toast," the speaker said, "to the American spirit and the President who most believed in it - Ronald Reagan. Americans had lost faith in themselves under Jimmy Carter, and Ronald Reagan restored it. That's what he would do today were he with us, so it is up to us to act as Ronald Reagan. To the Gipper. Let's live up to him and the best of America."

I came away from the evening with hope - that with men such as these three in Congress and others like them on Capitol Hill, Red State statehouses, plus millions of American patriots who feel as they do, we can triumph over the tragedy of the traitor in the White House. That America can someday be as Ronald Reagan envisioned it, a shining city on a hill.

In the bizarre world of climate alarmism, a naturally evolving climate is viewed as a man-made catastrophe, but an evolving political climate is not, as long as it supports the hysteria. Few advocate learning enough about science to separate fact from fiction, because knowledge is considered an impediment to progress.
With the re-election of Barack Obama, his radical followers declared, "This is our time," and ramped up efforts to transform society back to a simpler period when energy meant horse power and prosperity was a distant dream. The president steered clear of this climate morass, preferring to let his Environmental Protection Agency work "the problem" away from public scrutiny.
In the meantime, we have seen storms of alarmism. Public television declared that Hurricane Sandy fit the pattern expected in a warming world, despite the fact that the incidence of major hurricanes has declined dramatically to half what it was in the colder 1950s. New York Times columnist Paul Krugman and two Oregon State University philosophy professors stressed their intellectual superiority over "creationists" and "deniers" ("Rejecting science that crosses faith," Paul Krugman, Nov. 24, 2012; "Exposing the logic of climate change denial," Michael P. Nelson and Kathleen Dean Moore, Dec. 2, 2012). And Associated Press reporter Seth Borenstein rejoiced that his relentless climate propaganda was sinking into the American psyche.
As if to acknowledge this, Republican James L. Huffman imagined "persuasive evidence" of human involvement in global warming ("Are all doubters really 'hapless' or 'greedy'?" Dec. 10, 2012). Angus Duncan and Jack Roberts were sure that their windmills would address the coming climate catastrophe ("Keeping climate science and climate politics apart," Nov. 11, 2012). And the annual United Nations climate seance in Doha, Qatar, heard endless calls to action among delegates enjoying the opulent luxury that fossil fuels provide. The only sensible comment came from Huffman, who admitted to a lack of scientific training (as he offered his scientific opinion).
Real science is far different from what amateurs think. The problems with classical greenhouse gas theory escape those who view science as politics (consensus) or as religion (belief).
Scientists know that only logic and evidence apply. The evidence causing great grief is the refusal of the global temperature to increase for the past 15 years. It sloshes back and forth as one would expect on a planet with vast oceans and atmosphere that are never in equilibrium, but does not warm as some claimed it would with slowly increasing atmospheric carbon dioxide. Consequently, cracks are developing in the scientific facade supporting the dogma.
Reading the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences is much like reading Pravda during the Cold War: You do not look for beliefs, but for hints of change. In a recent paper (not peer-reviewed), newly elected members touted their belief that they had found the "fingerprint" of greenhouse gases. Yet they admitted to a considerable discrepancy with observations, a fatal flaw in a rational world. And buried deeply in the last table of supplementary information was the evidence that their climate simulations are failing badly.
Perhaps this is what prompted the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change to insert a sentence in its most recent draft report saying that the sun is more important than it previously realized. With NOAA now admitting that the present solar cycle will finish far below most in the Grand Maximum of solar cycles over the past two centuries, with American solar physicists William Livingston and Matthew Penn pointing to a collapsing solar magnetic field, and with Russian astrophysicist Habibullo Abdussamatov saying that carbon dioxide is "not guilty" and predicting a prolonged cooling this century, it is about time.
The previous warm periods (Medieval, Roman and Minoan) likely had the same natural origin as the present one. Hence, we should expect a century of cooling that essentially reverses the warming of the 20th century. This is what the Greenland ice core temperature reconstructions show happened previously.
Although the public has little knowledge of science and too easily falls for scams, scientists know that they cannot hold onto theories in the face of contravening evidence, even with vast government largess hanging in the balance. Those who have struck a Faustian bargain are beginning to worry that the devil may one day come to collect.
