Team Fortress 2is a free to play first person shooter developed by Valve. It is based on the well used source engine and the game is only available to users of the gaming software Steam. The game has no single-player it is a purely multi-player game, based on two opposing teams RED (Reliable Excavation & Demolition) and BLU (Builders League United). Players can choose from 9 classes; scout, soldier, pyro, medic, heavy, engineer, demo-man, spy and sniper. The game is widely regarded scoring regularly in reviews over 90%. It is also incredibly easy to run and works on both Windows and Mac operating systems. There are a fewgame modes in TF2 which have many different variations on them, the main two are Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag (CTF).

Its strengths are the fact its simple yet diverse but at the same time free to play. Its weaknesses are a lack of maps and slow matchmaking but all in all its a good game. Rated 8/10 on most sites. In the game you take on the role of a summoner character, utilising a champion unit that you control in warcraft-style skirmishes as you work with other players (sometimes on your own) to take down enemy defensive buildings to win by destroying the enemy nexus.
