Babasının işi dolayısıyla&amp;nbsp; İlkokulu Çanakkale'de, ortaokulu Samsun'da ve liseyi Çorum'da okudu. 2010 yılında Anadolu Üniversitesi Beslenme Bölümü'nden mezun oldu. 2000 yılında Çırağan Sarayı'nda Gazebo Bölümü'nde çalıştı. 2003 yılında Karafırın İmalathanesi'nde, 2005 yılında Cookies House'da, 2009 yılında Titanik Otel'de Pasta Ustası olarak görev yaptı. 4. Levent Tekfen Tower Binası'nın Pastane Şefliğini yürüttü. 2012 yılından beri Wellborn Luxury Hotel'in Pasta Şefliğini yapıyor. Uluslar arası Gastronomi Festivali'nde 2 bronz ve 2 gümüş madalyası bulunan Banu Kırmızıgül, Usla Yemek Akademisi Pasta Eğitmeni ve Uluslar arası Aşçılar Federasyonu Üyesi.&lt;/div&gt;

Karadeniz iklimi ve yaşam tarzı burada çok belirgin. Sanayi ve öğrenci şehri olması da farklı bir hava veriyor. Kocaeli kendine özgü bir şehir.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;span class="userContent"&gt;Rüyalarımı süsleyen aşçılık mesleğine başlarken aklımda hep şu soru vardı: “Başarabilecek miyim?” Bu sorunun kaynağında ise daha çok erkek aşçı ve şeflerin hakim olduğu mutfakta “Acaba beni bir aşçı olarak fark ederler mi?”, “Benim de mesleğimle onlardan farklı olmadığımı anlayabilirler mi?” ya da “Benim de onlar kadar güçlü olabileceğimi kabul ederler mi?” gibi düşünceler vardı. Kısacası uzun sür&lt;span class="text_exposed_hide"&gt;...&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="text_exposed_show"&gt;e “Aşçılık mesleğini gereği gibi icra edebileceğimi birlikte çalıştığım şeflere ispatlayabilir miyim?” sorusu aklıma takılmıştı. Staj dönemim bu sorularla geçti. Ancak bir süre sonra tüm bu olumsuz düşünceleri bir tarafa bıraktım ve kendime bir söz verdim: Bu mesleği kadın bir aşçı olarak yapacağım ve herkes mutfakta kadının gücünü, önemini ve yerini anlayacak!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Şu yadsınamayacak bir gerçek; profesyonel mutfaklarda erkek aşçı ve şeflerin egemenliği var! Bu egemenlik son yıllarda bir parça kadın meslektaşlara uyum sağlamaya çalışsa da yine de mutfaklarda kadın aşçıların birtakım sorunlar yaşamasını engellemiyor. Evet, mutfak ağır işçilik isteyen bir alan; uzun mesai saatleri, ağır yüklerin taşınması, kocaman tencerelerde yemek yapmak ve kulaklarımızı tıkayarak, duymamaya çalıştığımız “argo” kelimeler… Yine de tüm bunlar kadın aşçıların ya da mutfakta çalışan diğer kadın personelin aşamadığı sorunlar değil. Hayatın her alanında zorluklar var ve neden her alanda yan yana olan insanlar, mutfakta ayrışsınlar ki! Biz kadın aşçı ve şefler, tüm olumsuzluklara rağmen mutfakta birlikte çalışmaya razı olurken, neden bizleri mutfakta istemiyorlar, doğrusu çok merak ediyorum. Oysa mutfakta kadınların olması demek, düzenin ve temizliğin çok daha itina ile korunduğu, gerçekleştirildiği ve renkli sunumların birbirine karıştırılarak harikalar yaratıldığı bir mutfak demek! Haksız mıyım, bilemiyorum…&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Meslek olarak yemek pişirmek stresin en yoğun yaşandığı alanlardan birinde çalışmak anlamına geliyor. Bu işi ancak çok severek ve tutku ile bağlanarak yapabilirsiniz. Ve şuna sonuna kadar inanıyorum; Biz kadın aşçı ve şefler eğer istersek mutfaklarda varlığımızı sonuna kadar sürdürebilir ve mutfaklarda harikalar yaratabiliriz.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tüm bunlarla birlikte kadın-erkek ayrımı yapmadan bir noktanın altını da çizmek istiyorum: Aşçılık ciddi bir iştir. Son zamanlarda çok popüler bir meslek haline geldi. Özellikle de maddi getirisi açısından… Evet, çok keyifli bir meslek… Bir kez daha dünyaya gelsem yine aynı mesleği yapmak isterim. Ama bu mesleği seçen gençlerimizin unutmaması gereken çok önemli bir detay var: Çok çalışmak, çok emek vermek ve bu mesleğe tutku ile bağlanmak! En önemlisi de “aşçı olmayı istemek”… Bana göre aşçı işçi değil sanatçıdır. Tabii erkek aşçı ve şeflerimizin, biz kadınların yolunu kapatmaması ve bizlerle aynı yolda yürümeyi başarması gerekiyor.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bu yazımı okuduktan sonra birçok erkek şefin mutfağına kadın aşçılar alacağına ve onlara elinden gelen destek sunacağına inanıyorum.
