Inner City Style

I'll switch to Instagram, but you'll still find new posts here from time to time. Today I'll share some impressions of my summer holidays with you.

Dear readers,

some of you may wonder, why I do not post on a regular basis anymore.

Well, as online traffic comes more and more from mobile devices, a blog seems kind of out of date to me.

In addition to that, I do post on a daily basis on Instagram, as it is much easier to use and gives me a direct response from and conversation with my followers.

So please follow me on Instagram, my dear readers:

But I'll still drop by on Blogger from time to time, if I have interesting topics or nice pictures to share with you.

So here are some impressions of my summer holidays in Tegernsee at Tegernsee Lake in Bavaria:

Time to clean up my email account and get a lot of work done.

Dear readers,

I'm back on my blog.

In the last couple of weekends I was putting some work in my new Instagram account (you'll find the link here and on the right side bar).

Starting on Saturday, I'll participate in an advanced training (4 entire weekends in total) to become a certified Social Media Manager. So I'm pretty curious about the things I'll learn and how to implement them into my daily working routine.

The other great news is that I've started to write my first book about business clothing for men.
Due to my lack of financial funds, I will publish it as an ebook. I'll try to finish it by the end of this year.
But I'll keep you posted!

Here's today's get-up:

Shirt, sweater, chinos, boat shoes. Nothing special but far from a classic business clothes.

Have a nice day and have fun!

Cotswolds auctioneer to sell off famous actor Robert Hardy's lifetime collection.

2015-04-08T13:01:00.004+02:00

I've learned the following from www.gloucestershireecho.co.uk

The fascinating lifetime collection of a Cheltenham-born actor and military historian will go under the hammer this month.

Specialist auctioneer Dominic Winter based in South Cerney near Cirencester is to sell off the Robert Hardy collection at its showrooms on Saturday April 18

The 89-year-old actor has an extensive collection of furniture, books, paintings and silver ware, and the catalogue for the 238 lots to be offered in the sale runs to 58 pages.

Robert Hardy was born in Cheltenham and studied at Oxford University where he met Richard Burton. As a member of the Oxford University Drama Society one of his first appearances on stage was at the Playhouse Theatre in town.

He said: "Downsizing and losing a great part of a treasured library makes for sadness. Entrusting it all to Dominic Winter and Co has taken away much of the pain and through them I wish anyone who comes to possess anything that was mine as much joy and pleasure as it has given me through the years."

Robert Hardy is most famous for his TV roles as the crusty vet Siegfried Farnon in All Creatures Great and Small and as Winston Churchill in several TV series and movies.

Taking a break.

2015-03-18T10:05:00.001+01:00

Dear readers,

it's time to take a little break on posting.

I'm not really satisfied with my get-ups as they were too similar lately.

And Corduroys and sweaters are more than boring, I guess.

This might get better when Spring will hit us. But in the meantime, I'll only read Blogs instead of posting.

Stay tuned!

See you soon!
