The Job of the Deputy Direct Media Liaison was to protect and defend the Agriculture Department in the print and the electronic media. This included issuance of press notes, press releases, press briefings and keeping a pleasant relationship with the media men. This position was also responsible for the continuous study of the foreign and local technical journals to keep the local profession abreast of the latest developments in the field of agriculture.
