The angry young man image of 'Amitabh Bacchan' in the cinema of the 1970s was symptomatic of the general disillusionment that plagued the masses in general and youth in particular in India. It was a symbolic resentment of the people against the failure of the state to convert the top-down political democracy into the bottom-up social-economical democracy. It was the latter that would have really empowered the hitherto marginalised majority of India.

At the midnight of 14th and 15th August 1947, India had a 'Tryst with Democracy'. The political elites of the national movement showered the impoverished masses with a 'Gift'. The gift was a 'Structural' democracy, freedom in a 'political sense' and a gift of its own government. Even after 65 years of independence, it is disheartening to note that we are still struggling to make India a functional democracy, to gain freedom in a socio-economic sense and establish a 'good-governance instead of a mere elected government.

What is true about the organic development of a plant is equally true about a democracy of governance. A plant gets its vital nutrients and life-saving water from the ground, through its roots. Similarly, a sustainable and functional democracy gets its sustenance from the ground level empowered citizens, through the roots of institutions and structures of governance. It is never the other way round. However, it was this universe with which the newly forwarded 3rd world countries missed, in their wad rush to 'import' the top-down Westminster style democracy in their countries.

A great German philosopher Inmawel Kant in his Deontological treaty has considered Human beings as an end in itself. Human beings are not nearly a means to achieve an objective. For Gandhiji, the ' customer was the king' while Nelson Mandela advocated that the education of the masses is the most potent weapon to achieve social change. These ideas have our central theme. It is the firm belief in the virtue of putting people at the centre of all policymaking and policy implementation. It believes that people are the best judge of their own destiny. It is unfortunate that while the Magnus opus of Kautilya on statecraft ie ' the Arthashastra' had enjoyed a duty upon the king to deliver 'good governance to the masses, the 20th century, Westminister style democracies in the 3rd world countries have often confused government with governance. The case of many communist nationals is not different. they simply did not provide enough space for civil society articulation. The 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre in China is a case in the point. The french revolution of the 19thC had given a new architecture in the political domain. People, in general, were promised to rewrite their own destiny, France become a republic. It had a great influence on the political-administrative design of most of the European countries as well as that of America. Based on that structure and intuitions were designed in the 20thC in Europe for fructifying the new spirit of political education such structures were by and large based on the western principle of structural bureaucracy, which was static and rules bound. Since the concept evolved in Europe and US, so even the static structures and institutions of democracy were maintaining strong linkages with the desires and aspirations of the people. Also from the active citizenry which political socialization through the enlightenment philosophies like Rousseau, Martesqueav and Voltaire, including the effect of Renaissance, the market had played a significant development sole, Thus even a rigid political structure did not fail as there were present other 'organs' to take care of the developmental soles.

However, in the case of 3rd world countries including India, the context was vastly different. here the Westminister modelled democracy was important and fed from the top into the threat of unprepared masses. The masses were supposed to 'consume' it without realizing what it was. No doubt the static structure quickly gave in to the demands of dynamic realities. Instead of the intended empowerment of the masses, a class of political elites developed. After 73rd and 74th amendment act, although grassroots democracy has certainly taken deeper roots, simultaneously, we are seeing the appearance of 'Sarpanch Patils' and 'SUV Sarpanch' who are the new generation of political elites. Ironically, Gandhiji could foresee this anomaly in his own lifetime. No doubt he was a firm believer of the grassroots democracy based on village empowerment. Hw advocated the ancient Indian model of village democracy, where each village was a 'little republic' Unfortunately, the top-down structure of democracy has kept the people at the periphery and treated it as were passive recipients.

After the massive failure of the nascent institutional democracy in most of the African and South Asian countries, research was conducted to diagnose the real disease. Based on this research, the world bank in 1990 came up with the concept of ' Good Governance the causal factor of these object failures were non-participation and non-inclusive rights and static politico-administration architecture. S passive recipients tended to be marginalized and voiceless, such citizenry could never ensure effective chicks and balance over the functioning of the static. It was realized that the greatest investment that those counties were needing was the investment in Human Capital and social capital wore then the investment required in financial capital or infrastructure.

In fact, what is there for public policy, holds equally good even for the MNCs and Market. Bill Gates once said that he can create 10 more Microsoft without much difficulty, provided he was given only some of the top talents of the parent company. It underlines the Importance of human capital over financial capital. The Apple (i-pad/i-phone) founder steve jobs was a firm believer that the most important asset of an organisation was their human capital. That is why in contemporary Human resource management there is a strong emphasis on feedback mechanism, 360 degree and 265 days learning, participative decision making etc. Thus the focus is on enriching and empowering people. This shift is analogous to the policy of the community development program of the 1950s in India. It was an abject failure due to the top-down bureaucratic let and bureaucratic centric approach. This was criticized by the subsequent Balwan Rai Mehta committee which recommended a participatory and people-centric approach. However, it was not until 1993, that a constitutionally mandated local self-government was created to empower people to discuss, design and implement policies based on their unique context.

However, even after the completion of 20 yrs of the Panchayat Raj system, can see vast cleavage into the empowerment pattern of people in India. Eg. the 'Parsi' community of Mumbai has in 1012 raised the criteria of defining a Parsi person Poor if his monthly income is below Rs90,000/- whereas for a terrible man in the remote forest of central India, governance and democracy visit once in every 5 years at the time of election. so governance means different things to different people. It was precisely for empowering the hitherto disadvantaged sections of our society, that the affirmative action (reservation policy) was provided in the constitution. The social information that was leapt upon a large section of our society based on caste hierarchy, patriarchy etc had systematically socially excluded a large chunk of our population from mainstream life. Thus were enfranchisement was not adequate for a perpetually disempowered person. No doubt this provision has helped, but to a varying degree. In south India, due to the influence of the backward class movement, empowerment and awareness had been much more as compared to north India. Similarly, while both a woman and an SC has reached the highest position of the president of India, still to date neither a woman nor an SC has reached the position of Cabinet Secretary of India.

As rightly pointed out by Amartya Sen, economic growth without affecting the masses at the bottom of the pyramid are meaningless. Eg the per capita income of our next-door neighbour Bangladesh is nearly half of India but its fairs well on all the HDI parameters like (IMR, MMR etc). Interestingly, in the initial years of 1990 the pre liberalization, there was not much difference in the per-capita income of the two counties while India went for creating new institutions like markets, stock exchanges, regulatory bodies etc. Bangladesh in spite of wager resources forced on grass-root empowerment through a successful network of SGHs. It was mostly women SGHs in the rural areas with active support from the world-renowned 'Gramin Bank' of Md. Yunus. This is what a great root empowered citizen could achieve, that the institutions of economy count did not achieve in India. Even in our own country, the successful HDI indicator of Kerala in spite of only moderate economic growth, in comparison to economic engines like Haryana and Punjab is an eye-opener reality. It is thus extremely important to realise that governments must work down the ladder from the state capital down to the Gram Sabha. otherwise, a paradox like the 1960s could again explode. In the 1960s while northwest India under the impact of the green revolution was empowered down to the village level, at the same time a dichotomy made an appearance in central est India in the form of Naxalism. It was a symptom of a larger disease, called a perpetual marginalization of the Adivasis.

The world is full of such examples, where prolonged disengagement of the state with its own population has created a social volcano, which when bursts is hard to contain. eg the issue of Tamil Eelam in Sri Lanka is a manifestation of continuous marginalization of the ethnic Tamil populace. eg Balvtic nationalism is a consequence of their crystal, attic disempowerment by their Punjabi and Sindhi c0citizens. The very basic and bifurcation of Bangladesh from Pakistan was due to the disengagement of west Pakistan from its own citizens in the eastern part. Similarly, in China, the Xinjiang and Tibet provinces are systematically subdued leading to the rupture of the very idea of the 'One China ' policy.

Real Governance is an 'umbrella concept, it is analogous to a mother's heart, wherein it accommodates and appreciates all her children, let it be white or black, boy or girl, Brahmin or Dalit, tribal or city dweller and irrespective of religion etc. If people are marginalised for a prolonged period of time, then disruptive forces will one day or the other dismantle the established institutions and architecture. what happened in 1789 during the french revolution was 'not a one-off event' 190 years later it happened in Iran in the form of the culture of cultural institutional created by static institutions created by Shah of Iran failed to satisfy the urge of the people for development. The assertive Civil society in contemporary times is nothing but a reminder the people want their due space in the governance architecture. they want to shape modify, reshape their destiny. The 'occupy wall street movement', 'the Arale spring', the 'Nirbhaya protest' in new Delhi is simply a Hartinger of a much larger assertive citizen waiting to make an appearance in the future.

Based on that few recommendations (India-centric) may help in putting things in the right perspective;

Transform the structural democracy into a functional democracy
Realize that investment in human capital is the best form of capital
Treat all segments of citizenry with respect and empower them, focusing especially on women, old age citizens, persons with disability, people engaged in manual scavenging etc.
Decentralized power to the lowest possible level
Make efforts for ensuring secondary education is the fundamental right
Confer Schedule 6 status on the tribal area of central India for more autonomy

Eventually, it is high time to accept that just like what Galileo had realized that it was the Sun which was at the centre of the solar system, and not the Earth, similarly, the political class must also accept that it is the people who are at the centre of the governance and not the other way round. Thus empowered citizenry is the causal factor for the governance as well as the governance and not another way around. Galileo was ostracized for speaking the truth, just like Nelson Mandela suffered, but finally, institutional and structural governance had to accept the merit of keeping the people at the centre. Let this synergy be exploited for the natural gain of all; because real democracy is not what it is given from the top. democracy has to be claimed and repeatedly reclaimed by the citizens for its true survival and growth.

We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children

In ancient India, once a king was walking on a road when he saw an old man planting a mango tree. The king asked- Old Man! are you aware that you'll not be able to taste the fruit in your lifetime. Then why are you planting it? The old man said ' I have eaten fruits from trees planted by our forefathers and therefore it's now my duty to leave plants far out next-generation!'

The above simple story essentially captured what the relationship of humans should be with nature. if the old man had abstained from his duty it would have been likely that the next generation would have been left with fewer fruits to eat. The fundamental law of nature is that every living organism is here for only a finite period. Everybody comes here empty-handed and no one has the luxury to take even a blade of grass with him. Ideally, we should treat our lives as a guest on this planet appropriating only what is required for our needs.

Gandhiji had said 'There's enough for man's need but not for man's greeds' the above message cant be more relevant than in the present context. The population of the world has crossed 7 billion now and with each addition in the number, we are straining the resources of the earth.

Now if we take into account the availability of resources per human then it has been declining sustainably over the decades because the resources of the earth are finite. What is interesting however is the fact that human greed has increased substantially and it knows no bounds. These two trends are mutually incompatible and have precipitated into several crises.

Let's have a bride look over the kind of situation our greed has created. A human being far a decent life requires access to water, clean air, house, electricity, education, social security and employment. Today we face tension in all these spheres of life! If we take the case of our own country then we have 16% of the world's population and only 4% of freshwater resources. Besides this, there is a huge variation in the amount of rainfall received with drought and flood being registered at the same time of the year. This naturally calls for judicious use of water and the practice of environmentally sustainable methods like watershed management. However, throwing all cautions to the wind we have overdrawn our groundwater resources, polluted our rivers which are a lifeline for the millions of population. Total over half of the country lacks access to clean drinking water in the absence of which outbreaks of diseases like cholera, diarrhoea are frequent.

Taking another case of air and environmental pollution, we see today that the emission of greenhouse gases like Co2 have threatened the very existence of human being on earth. According to an estimate by International Pale for climate change, it has been estimated that if the rise in temperature of the earth goes beyond 2 degrees then it could be catastrophic for the earth as millions of populations and their livelihood would be threatened and low laying coastal areas which have more then 50% populations would be submerged.

It will not be thus wrong to say that we are cutting the same tree on which are sitting. Now the question is since nature has enclosed us with a mental faculty that has the unique capacity to make a rational decision then why are we behaving so irrationally?

A reason for the above stems from the fact we all have joined the bandwagon of 'growth at any cost' All countries want to outdo each other in terms of GDP growth. GDP growth is fundamental and a sale barometer no which we are judging a country's success or failure. Little thought is out over how sustainable the growth is. The problem also lies in the fact that it's very difficult to compute the losses to the environment in monetary terms. If in future we can factor in them it would dawn upon us that we are actually taking 1 step forward and 2 steps backwards. After the Big Bang event of 'Industrial Revolution in the 18th and 19th centuries in Europe and America, the gulf between developed and developing countries have widened at an alarming pace. Many of the countries that were colonised in Africa, South America and Asia have very poor economic and social indicators. The burden gets doubled when the region has more than 80% worlds population. It's but natural that people of this region would aspire to become like their counterparts in the USA and Europe. Thus the desire to narrow down this gap is further leading to the exploitation of resources in an unsustainable way.

Worldbank has calculated that if only India and China were to have some level of income as that of the US then we would require at least 7 earth-like planets. so definitely the idea to replicate the west and fall prey to consumerist culture is not the way out of this quagmire. Although late, world community today has started recognising the futility of over reckless behaviour and thanks to sustained campaign for environmentalist, scientist, the civil society they concept of sustainable development has found its due place in public discourse and in our policy-making starting from 1972 Stockholms conference, the landmark Rio Summit of 1992, Kyoto protocol and increased emphasis on renewable energy the world has started to learn from its mistakes and is now willing to trade-off growth with the environment. However, several contentious issues remain to be addressed at the global level. First developing country like India, see it unfair that they have to cut their emission level since the per capita level of the US are 10 times more than India. On the other hand developed countries owning to their less population argue that is absolute terms China and India are the biggest polluters. We have to concede that both sides have some justification in their standings.

So having discussed why? and what? of our reluctance to leave it for our future generation, now we discuss how to bequeath more to our children while ensuring that our current needs are met without conflict. The first and foremost should be the use of nature in a sustainable way. Today, fortunately, nature has been endowed with the inexhaustible resource of energy in the form of solar, wind, hydel energy and technology although expensive exists that can harmers these regard would be like winning the half battle. For the real part, we should have a strong value education framework in our school. what other good way than to learn from nature itself where except humans all other species collect only what they can consume and even a polar bear stores energy for 6 months only! almost all our religious texts have highlighted this fact that from excessive greed anger which leads to conflict delusion and irrational decision making, we need to put a full stop to this vicious cycle.

Another step would be towards making lifestyle changes. for example, while we fondle remember our last outing in a restaurant we fail to recall the last time when we had planted a tree. Moreover, we should develop a feeling of compassion sympathy and practice the kind of act given to people who lack resources. Focus on equality and justice would go a long way in reducing conflicts. let's emulate the practice of the old man in our lives so that our children are proud of us like we are proud of our forefathers.

Byju's is not an EdTech company! Weird? 18 Billion-Dollar company which is called the biggest ed-tech company in the world is actually not an ed-etch company. Is Byju's a scam?

In India, on average, an urban family for their child's education up to 12th spends around 15-20 Lakhs. To say, In today's internet world any person can learn anything new in very little amount so the question is, why so much money is spent on a child's education? Well, there is a very big reason today's tech companies compile people to spend out of their pocket on education so why do companies do? that our parents give all their savings to these companies. Byju's is actually a marketing company!

Byjue's did a Rs 1306 crore operation profit which in 202 increased to Rs 2381 crore, now when you look at the marketing spend 2019 it spends around 459 crores which in 2020 increased to Rs 1176Cr. But their major revenue does not come from this marketing is just to increase their brand value. Its main revenue comes from BDA (business development associates). They hire BDA on a salary of 10-12 lakh per annum with just 300 BDA employees. how do they convince people to spend their life-saving?

Byju's marketing strategy-

1- Cold Calling- Byju's salesman randomly call your parents or in fact sometimes to you itself will call you and ask, what are your future aspiration? where do you see yourself? what do you actually wish to become? how do you see studies? they will discuss all these things with you.

2- Advertising- Either you will see Shahrukh khan doing the endorsement or on Instagram, Facebook, and on youtube, you will see the Byjus advertisement and inquire

3- Doubt Solving- in today's date when kids have don't then they go on the internet and search while searching you will land up on Byjus website. Bipin Rawat was born on 16th March 1958 in Pauri Uttarakhand. His family has been serving in the Indian Army for multiple generations, and his father was Lieutenant-General Laxman Singh Rawat. Starlink country director of India Sanjay Bhargava already posted on social media about the benefits of Starlink and is keen to access cheap satellite networks all over the world. This story is based on the backdrop of the partition of 1947. Killing and atrocities were everywhere. The story is set in the village of Mano Majra of Punjab. There are 4 main characters. 1st is Magistrate who is corrupt but has a conscience, 2nd id sub-inspector who is a man of consequence. 3rd is Jaggut Singh who is a tiresome Gunda and people were scared to death by him and last is Iqubal who is a sophisticated and educated person in this story. The story revolves around these 4 and describes the nature of a human being.

Mano Majra a tiny place and a village located at the border of Punjab. Now there is a plan dacoity in the village in Ram Lal's house who is a money lender. It was very brutal now the police searches the suspect in Mano Majra village (always been knows for his railway station) and also in the nearby area. The atmosphere at that time was quite monotonous. There were five men involved in the dacoity. Dakoothrow the broken bangles in Jaggut Singh house as part of the conspiracy. meanwhile, magistrate arrived and hail this ma. He was like a god to them but there was no quality in him. basically, it was fear. the almighty name was Mr Hukum hand. Sub inspectors were with him who explains the condition. All sorts of luxury were available to him. Now there is the entry of an educated person Iqubal(no surname as he didn't believe in religion). He stepped done from a train, an Avery decent looking person and stayed at Gurudwara. Bhai meets Singh Ji meets him there.

With Iqbal, everyone used to ask questions on various subjects. He was arrested as one of the suspects of dacoity but soon the police realised it was a big mistake. Jaggut Singh was also arrested. They were taken to Chundunnagar. Ghost train arrived at Mano Majra. The village was in deathly silence and the day got darker. Hukum hand real character was also revealed. He was basically not so arrogant person. Meanwhile, Iqbal and Jaggut Singh were constantly interrogations. Monsoon arrived and then there was a fear of water rising. There was an arrest of another gang called Malli gang.

Jaggut Singh beat Malli furiously and everyone was terrified. Police inquires about Iqubal from Public but it was just a formality as he was already framed in the dacoity. Now everyone was quite aware that the suspects were not in the police reach. Imam Baksh is another character who lived in a village. Further, all the Muslims in the village were ordered to go to Pakistan from this village. they were first taken to refugee were in despair that once brother is now rivals.

The river has risen to a very critical point and chances of the flood were there ghost train used to pass over the bridge and it was scary for all. corpses were coming to the banks of the river. The village was provoked by a group of people to pay what Pakistan did and kill everyone on a train when it will reach Mano Majra. The one who provoked was a teen. There was a plan to kill at least 400 people on the train. Iqbal and Jaggut Singh were released on the order of Hukum hand. Meet Singh was very much agitated by all this but however plan dint succeed and they suffered from their own fate and the train went to Pakistan

Despite the deep economic and social impacts of Modi govt in major policy decisions, people are not criticising him and this is a very unique situation. Where only the credit for +ve results go to PM Modi and not the credit for -ve results. So many political journalists and experts claimed that "PM Modi has developed a Teflon image" which is a term used frequently in political science.

Basically, Teflon is a chemical compound (C2F4)n which you can usually see in non-stick frying pans. Hence Teflon leaders are the ones, on whom criticism never sticks to, no matter how much they are criticised. On the other end are velcro leaders. (velcro- found in footwear, gets for fastening) on whomever, the slightest form of criticism sticks to their image. As a result, the deep impact on the Indian economy due to COVID-19 might have very less effect on PM Modi's political ambitions. The main reason behind this is PM Modi is not just a political leader, he is almost a spiritual leader too!!

On 8th Nov 2016 PM Modi announced that ₹500 & ₹1000 currency notes will be withdrawn. After one month the same story happened in Venezuela too where the president announced the cancellation of 100-bolivar currency notes as those notes were in the mafia's possession. But after this announcement people came on roads to protest against this decision. But no such protest happened in India. People supported these decisions and despite knowing that demonetisation neither brought back black money nor infiltration was under control and even the other objectives of Govt. were not completed, despite all these many did not criticise PM Modi, they felt "at least Modi was trying"

Researchers fell that such leaders have some common aspects They are seen as extroverted and outgoing which appeals to voters. And other factors like Nationalism, Hindi authoritarianism, control over media, financial advantage & a weak opposition.

Even the way and choice of words PM Modi uses the Hindi language are responsible for his spiritual image For eg. To describe the problems of migrant workers, PM Modi used the words "Tyaag, Tapasya, Agni Pariksha" Demonetisation a "Yagna" against corruption. Even when he gave a speech in support of corona worries, he asked people to perform 7 activities which were almost similar to asking people to take 7 promises (vows), He even uses many religions text like-- ("The war in Mahabharat was won in 18 days, this war against corona will take 21 days") All these things help in developing his spiritual image.

2nd thing is the way he phrases his sentences, Benjamin Franklin used an important tool in his political career and now its called " Benjamin Franklin effect" according to this if you ask a favour from someone and if that person accepts to help, then the chances of them accepting your 2nd request for favour also increases and they would start liking you more. And through his policy announcements, PM Modi doesn't give us an instruction nor an order but he asks us for a REQUEST!

For Swachh Bharat Abhiyan he requested us 2hrs of our time every week, He requested us to return LPD subsidies, and even made a similar appeal to clap for corona warriors. And through such appeals where PM Modi asks us for favours, there are 2 advantages, 1st- his likeability increases as per benjamin franklin effect and 2nd many responsibilities are moved from the PM towards the citizens so even if their policy schemes don't work out, the Govt. will not be the only one responsible for it, some portion of blame would be on citizens as well

3rd thing is he disassociates himself from the results. PM Modi doesn't give full details of any scheme like the Atmanirbhar package, PM Modi kept his focus on the number-20 lakh crore, but presenting the details was the responsibility of Finance minister Nirmala Sitaraman. Due to this when the performance of the Govt. is criticised, that criticism is not directed towards PM Modi instead, it's directed towards the minister.

An ideal political environment is not the one in which all leaders are on the Velcro side instead, they should be in the middle of this scale. To do this, their supporters will have to start finding faults with them for a decision they are responsible and their opponents will have to stop criticising them for the decision, these leaders were not responsible for. Maybe then, there would be a change in this spiritual image of PM Modi.

Visible signs of a trade war started in March 2018 when Trump announced an additional tariff on the export of aluminium and steel.

Meaning: Exports from China to the US become costlier.

India could be a winner in the US-China trade war.

India is a major stakeholder in the world trade market given its huge market at a population of $1.3 billion. The US could open up its markets for Indian goods and services. Export to the US grew $9.46 to $52.4 billion. As many as 203 Indian goods are likely to displace Chinese exports to the US, like rubber, carpets, graphite electrodes, etc. And if the trade war stretches for a long time, India could be a major benefactor.

US presidential race:- There are 2 major parties, one is Republicans led by Donald Trump and 2nd is Democrats led by Joe Biden.

Trump: Trump basically pushes aggressive " America First" message to world leaders. They will create jobs, support industries, reduce the imports as much as possible especially from China!! Trump is also warned of consequences if China is "knowingly responsible" for coronavirus. All these things make Trump highly critical of China. This also means that if Trump gets in the power again then definitely it will lead to escalating in US-China trade war!

But the protest again racism is increasing day by day in the US which can lead to a major shift of vote in the favour of Biden.

When the corona pandemic hasn't increased to the peak US companies were stating that the US and China are very much connected in the market sector, but slowly we can see the difference in the mindsets ie 1/5 US firms say coronavirus will Accelerated Decoupling in china. US views of china increasingly negative amid coronavirus outbreak. Even China has finally pushed Europe too far by straining their relations. It is even stated that Apple, Google, Microsoft to leave china from which some companies can come in India and some can fly off to Vietnam.

South Korean firms want to ditch china, and move manufacturing to India; Hyundai, Posco's in talks. The representatives of the companies coming from the US showed interest in the fields of agriculture, electronics, medicine, scientific instrumentation, logistics, defence, aviation, food processing MRO, etc.

Lockheed Martin, Adobe, Mastercard, Honeywell, Boston Scientific & Cisco systems as well as global delivery services like UPS & FedEx.

Apart from ensuring land, water and sewerage, the most important thing should be gov. should not introduce retrospective tax amendments.

Now what is happening is, China is trying to get it's influence in Nepal and Pakistan's internal governmental issues. The case with Pakistan is they are trying to construct the Dam in the disputed region ie Gilgit Baltistan (POK). Earlier because of low funds Pak was not able to construct the dam at that place and now as china is helping in funds, the plan is up again!! & its significance is that it lies on the river Indus which supplies water to the whole Pak and by the construction of the dam in POK the other dams life which lies on the river Indus will be increased by 36 years plus the jobs, electricity, water supply, and the area dominance of Pakistani and china in POK will be definitely increased!!

The case with Nepal is, there was a political instability where the gov. (Nepal communist party) would have even collapsed but a Chinese diplomat entered to save them by taking full a week discussions to resolve the issue. Now, this is a clear indication that China is trying to control other countries according to their favour.

In India, the Chinese spokesperson of the Chinese embassy tweeted, that all the media houses in India should post articles with regarding the one china policy i.e. Taiwan should officially be considered as China's part in the UN. Taiwan says it wants to join an important WHO meeting after coronavirus strategy success. China objects to this. Earlier Taiwan was having its position in WHA but because of Chinese pressure, they were removed. But this year, the five ( US, UK, New Zealand, Canada, Australia ) eyes group is aggressively supporting Taiwan to return to the WHO.

What India ought to consider? china routinely thwarts India diplomatically at UN bodies and international fora, including over sanctioning Pakistan- based terrorist. Happy Mothers Day to beautiful, amazing Mumma's in the world. Nothing beats your love, strength and care and innumerable sacrifices they make. This line sums it all- "Is Duniya Mein Sabse Bada Yodha Maa Hoti Hai" It is a day to celebrate motherhood as well as maternal bond.

"M" is for mom in almost every country. If you search the word "mother or mom" in other languages, you would find the most of these words starts through the letter "M". This is said to be attributed to the sound "Muh" as one of the 1st sounds that the baby makes when they are trying to speak as associative primary caregiver usually with mom, along with the smooth sound "Muh".

The ancient Greeks were amongst the 1st to pay tribute to mother. Their spring festival for the mother Riera who is the mother of all Greek gods. In medieval Britain, servants were given the 4th Sunday to travel home and spend the day with the mother This custom was called "Mothering Sunday".

But the modern era Sunday was created by Anna Jarvis. She admired her mother who attended the wounded during America's civil war and later becomes the community activists. When her mom died in may of 1905 a plan for a holiday was born to attribute mothers work!. Later she contacted philanthropist John in Philadelphia to join the mothers day committee in hopes of honouring all the mothers all across the nation.

In 1910 Anna got congress federally to recognise the 2nd Sunday of the May month the holiday and in 1914 President Wilson signed and officially made 2nd Sunday of the May as the Mothers day.

The holiday was meant to spend in church, sons and daughters would write loving letters to their mothers, Pink and red coloured flowers were honoured to mothers who were amongst them and white colours for who have passed. By 1920 reading card companies got into the mothers day business. Anna was enraged by what she considered a lazy excuse for not giving handwritten letters but by buying them!! The holiday creator was soo upset by the commercialisation of the celebration and later she petitioned to abolish the celebration. In 1930 Anna was arrested to disturbing the peace at the mothers day carnations. Sadly Anna spends the rest of her life and family inheritance, fighting the holiday. She died in 1948 leaving no children to remember her. Since then mothers day becomes one of the profitable holidays, This probably wouldn't please Anna but deep down she would be satisfied that on the mothers day that millions of mom around the world receive extra attention and well deserved hugs.

The job of the media is to give a voice to the public, to raise a voice for the public and help it reach the government (its job is) not to raise their voice for the government and brainwash the public.
Nowadays hardly any source of media speaks about the development measures taken by the government or the people, but just some racial talks of cast, inner and outer wars of country, or how a particular race is in danger in a county.
Education, finance, development in science, GDP, jobs, poverty etc are the topics which determine the development of the country the most. But in every 9Pm shows just 3% of the times these issues are bought up and discussed!! Media is a medium to ask direct questions to the government and not to spread propaganda for government itself!!

Look at a case what happens to the journalists who raise their voices for the public and give a voice to them:-
A journalist showed how the children in a school of Uttar Pradesh were being served Rotis with salt as a part of the mid-day meal. That is, there were not being served proper food. In response, the police booked the journalist on charges of criminal conspiracy. And the Utter Pradesh CM, Yogi Adityanath says that there will be proceedings against the journalist. They don't intend on fixing the school, instead, they are after the one who has raised the issue.

This is the truth of today's times in our country. The government has consolidated a strong control over the media, especially the TV media, but there is a ray of hope visible on the INTERNET.
People like you and me raise their voices on the internet freely. There are a lot of online publications and journalists on the internet that can reopen freely. So the question arises is, would it be possible for the government to assume the same kind of control over the internet too? If it indeed is possible what could be the solution for it? what could you and I do to save ourselves?

Let me give u example of China-- There is massive internet censorship in China. In fact report of 2020 stated that china is the worlds worst country in a matter of internet freedom. Their censorship is named as the Great Firewall Of China, in which Google, FB, youtube is banned, China has made clones of its own of these websites. You cannot criticize the government on their website. It is highly under the watch and if you criticize the government the police could even be sent after you.
If you try to search 1989 Tiananmen square protest on Baidu (Chinese search site) you would get nothing, but If you search the same thing on Google, then you'd get the entire story of the protest. The Chinese government doesn't want the public to know about these protests because these protests were for the democracy which they don't want it ever again, people raising voice for their rights.
This censorship has a detrimental effect on China as well as on the Chinese government. Chinese cannot access the internet world and they would not be able to access the innovations and research taking place in the rest of the world. So innovation reduces drastically in China due to this.
This might be the reason behind ( as you might have noticed), there are a lot of western companies like Microsoft and Google, that have Indian CEO's. but have you ever heard of a western company that has a Chinese CEO?
The reason behind internet censorship, in most of the cases across the world, is a cowardly government. You can see this happening in every country.

Media in other countries...

At one time, BBC was banned in Iran, then BBC is banned in Burundi, Rwanda, China, AL Jazeera was banned in Pakistan, as they were giving coverage to the opposition politicians. The Saudi government has clearly stated that for making fun of ( the government) or posting satire on social media you could also be jailed!!.
Even in the UK during the Brexit the referendum was conducted, The politicians of the leaving group had spread massive propaganda of Facebook group. They fooled the people by spreading fake news. The name of Cambridge Analytica too came to the forefront in this regard, where they collect the data of the people using FB, They observed the likes and dislikes of the people to find out which type of people like which things and what is their thought process then, on that bases, they showed personalized ads to such people to convince them that Britain should leave the EU. Later, the scandal of Cambridge Analytica was revealed and we got to know all this when FB displayed all the ads that were used during the campaigning for the referendum.
In Brazil, during the last elections, there was a vast propaganda spread on WhatsApp in favour of Mr Bolsonaro (current president) who shares a picture on his own twitter account stating- some people are standing with guns, and a placard is placed in the middle with a death threat to him. Which was actually a photoshopped image. Sounds similar right?

Because they all state that somewhere our country is being spoken against. The reason stated is that anti-national things are being said, But in reality, the reason remains that it is the government which is being spoken against and being criticized. These cowardly government do not want criticism against themself.

Media in India...

Let us look at what's the story in India. Situations in India are obviously not bad to this extent, but I'd not want to wait till the day situation gets this bad
June 2019: Our government told Whatsapp to make its messages traceable so that it could be found out who originally started the message that was being forwarded. Obviously, Whatsapp refused to do so because it has end to end encryption. Nobody can read these messages in Whatsapp, neither the companies outside nor Whatsapp itself.
But the Indian government wanted it done because it said that it wanted to reduce "fake news". Someone go tell the government, their own IT cell spreads the fakest news and it is staking fake news as the reason.
How could the government actually have benefited having done this?
It would become easier to nab journalist like the ones who are exposing the mid-day meals scams. If someone is writing against the government, or raising questions to it, then it would become easier for the government to nab them.
The GI-GO, garbage in-garbage out means that it matters is what kind of stuff we put in our head? All this simply increases silent racism amongst each other which is decided by someone else.

Whenever the country goes through the trouble you will definitely hear one name who is doing a tremendous amount of help... Mr Ratan Tata. Even now as the world is going through a deadly virus, Ratan tata donated 1500 crore from Tata group in India to fight coronavirus.

Ratan tata made an incredible difference, his personal success in running one of the mist profitable conglomerates of our time.
A person who holds India on his shoulders a fantastic visionary. From Tata tea, Tata Salt, Tata motors, Taj hotel, 100 industries, 66% goes in philanthropy, he believes in making the nation!! One of my most favourite quote " take the stones people throw at you and use them to build the monument"

Early life

He was born on 28th December 1937 in Surat, India, to Naval Tata and Sonoo Tata. Naval Tata was the adopted son of the Jamsetji Tata's younger son Ratanji Tata. When he was 10 years old, his parents got separated and thereafter, he and his brother were brought up by his grandmother, Navajibai Tata.

He studies at Cornell University where he got a B.S. degree in architecture in Structural engineering in 1962, then after to Harvard business school for a degree in advanced management program in 1975.

JRD Tata was a visionary, he stated to start industrialisation in India, for that he focused on steel and henceforth steel industries in Jamshedpur which are named on Jamshedji itself by creating an empire of steel production.
Ratan Tata, even though he carried the family name he had to earn his spot in the company by shovelling limestone and handling the blast furnace. In 1971, he was appointed as the director-in-charge of the (NELCO) to help its struggling finances. He worked towards building a better consumer electronic division in science and tech and turned NELCO in a profit-making company, but the economic recession and union strikes prevented him from achieving success. Ratan tata stated in an interview- when he made NELCO a profit-making company, he started receiving offers from the company who are all loss-making!!

In 1991, JRD Tata appointed him as the new Chairman of Tata groups of companies. The decision came under scrutiny following objections from other executives of the company.

That time Bill gates, IBM was very much active in the engineering sector. But he succeeded in improving the financial successes of the industries and expanded the growth of the organization under his leadership. He transformed the management and vision of the division and managed to bring in a significantly larger dividend.

During his early years itself, he led the Tata group, revenues grew over 40 times, and profit, over 50 times.

He boldly got Tata Tea to acquire Tetley, Tata Motors to acquire Jaguar land Rover and Tata Steel to acquire course. All this turned Tata from a largely India-centric group into a global business, with 65% revenues coming from operations and sales over 100 countries.

Bill Ford said you are doing a favour by undertaking Jaguar land rover. He started making the same code of conduct and the same logo for all the industries.

His 5 principles are- Integrity, unity, understanding, responsibility and excellence.

On 12 January 2017, Natarajan Chandrasekaran was named as the chairman of tata sons, a role he assumed in February 2017

JRD was the 1st Indian businessman, and Tata group was the 1st Indian company, to introduce a provident fund, medical services, maternity benefited, gratuities, accidents insurance schemes and the 8hrs shift.

When there was a huge flood in Kerla was going under a Sunami they created 700 houses for fisherman. At the Taj Attack as well, all the employees were secured with medical help.

The Tata group contributes the Loin's share of the corporate social responsibility CSR fund.

Ratan Tata received the Padma Bhushan in 2000 and Padma Vibushan in 2008, the 3rd and 2nd highest civilian honour awarded by the government of India.

A few days before I was listening to the audiobook of "The great successor- by Anna Fifield" and coincidently a piece of news was popout about the Kim Jong-un!!!

This was also stated because just like Christmas & Diwali is celebrated, They have "The day of the Sun" on 15th April, birth anniversary of Kim II-sang, founder and Eternal President of North Korea. Now whatever happens Kim Jong will never miss the festival!! (unless any tensions with US & South Korea of course)
So this time he was not present for the occasion and the news of him having surgery raised the ears of US journalist.

But very soon Reports from south Korea government officials soon emerged, saying the US journalist' claims about Kim Jong-un were not accurate, his health can be bad but he isn't in a coma.
This full episode has put a larger question in front of us, what will be the impact on the leadership of North Korea because of this? whether the world should worry about the Kim successor and North Korea?? So if we look at the overall pictures we have no clue about who will be the next leader.

The worst case of the power transition would be a bitter factional struggle and violent breakdown in the north's political system. The result could be mass refugee flows as the 60-70% of the population is below the poverty line and when they get to know there leader is no longer alive, that people will start crossing the South Korean borders and even to cross the yellow sea and enter in China, then losses nuclear, the chemical had biological weapons. so during this chaos, these weapons can go under wrong hands and can get leaked, and pressure for both china and south Korea to intervene, this is very much a possibility!

Indeed " there is a reasonable possibility that North Korean totalitarianism will end in the foreseeable future, with the extreme likelihood that this end will be accompanied by considerable violence and upheaval."

We don't know how long Kim will survive, it may happen after 5 years or 10 or maybe even tomorrow. Other world leaders and countries cannot do much of a thing, this is not in our hand but the only thing which is in our control is that, that major countries should come together and discuss the action plan that is North Korea collapse as published in various reports, the world should not feel surprised and every country must have its own decided roll and as fast as possible we should stabilise bring it in control.

AND this is a threat amongst itself and for world peace. I would genuinely say that countries like China, Russia, South Korea the US which is involved in North Korea peace process should come together and create an unofficial plan for a possible North Korea collapse by which the damages could be very much limited!!

Brexit happened on 31st Jan 2020 ie. united kingdom separated itself from the European Union. this is a very important lesson in geopolitical because it compels you to think, what is nationalism? what is a nation? and what is a country?

First of all the story of the united kingdom itself is very interesting, it is a country formed by the amalgamation of four other countries - England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland. These four countries together constitute the United Kingdom, which itself is a country you would ask how is this possible?
They are four separate countries and yet constitute one country together. but this is possible? In some respects, the united kingdom is a sole country and in some respects, they are four separate countries. You can see in cricket - England has a separate team and Scotland has a separate one, but in the Olympics, the entire united kingdom has a single team. Looking at the government, the entire united kingdom has the same parliament as well as the same currency but all there four countries have their own separate flags.
In fact, the website of the prime minister of UK readers that "the UK is the countries within a country".
Another interesting thing is that before the Brexit referendum in 2014, a referendum was conducted in Scotland in which the people were asked whether they wanted Scotland to remain a part of UK or wanted to be an independent country just like Ireland, then 55% of people voted for Scotland to remain a part of the UK, now keep this in mind because it is relevant ahead and quite related to the Brexit referendum.

They were formed after WW2 and as you know the European countries were fighting amongst each other in WW1 & WW2. But after the demise of Hitler, they decided that they had enough of fights and for getting in peace we need to get in a union form. So in 1950-60, they started joining in and union become stronger. They do not even stand as a wave of peace but as a superpower on the world map. For the access of business, for compensation one country advantage with other countries disadvantage.

Why Brexit?

The European Union stated that every country has to take a fixed number of refugees within their country in the proportion of its population. this upset a lot of people. Thereafter, feelings of not staying apart the EU began to take root in some people.
So that they would be empowered to make the decision for their country on their own. This was especially seen in Britain where the right-wing party- the Conservative party, took advantage of this and told the people that they want to break out of the EU and pressure was mounted and made a referendum. By the voting of 52%, people voted to leave EU, by running a huge amount of propaganda like- fake news, scaring people which compelled the people to vote in favour of Brexit and the people voting for there was belonging to lower-income groups, where victims of unemployment, lived in the rural regions and were aged people. And for 4 years people were discussing how to do Brexit and what treaty should they be having with EU after that. on 31st Jan 2020, Brexit happened.

Now there will be applications of tariffs in between UK and EU for imports and exports, the trade will become difficult. The bad news for the UK is that 1/3rd of the imports of UK are from EU, soo there will be an increase in the cost.
A study of 2018 reveals that there was a loss of 5.5% of GDP on the UK economy.
Scotland majority of people voted to stay with the EU, now what is happening is the people are upset in Scotland. they want to file a new referendum to break away from the UK and join the EU.
Now u can think of it: what the people of Scotland are trying to do?
are they anti-national because they want to separate from the UK?
or are they nationalists because they are thinking about their own county- Scotland and the Scottish people?
or are they internalists because Scotland becomes a part of the EU?
IS THIS CORRECT? from the perspective of nationalism, internationalism and regionalism?
In my opinion, one thing is very clear from this situation and that is we should not give much importance to these words.

The coronavirus pandemic has completely changed the world!! After this, the world is gonna be different. US President Donald Trump said “ the world is paying a big price” Well,... that’s true!!

Chinas official gov. newspaper published “ drop-in china’s new Covid-19 cases none in Wuhan for 6 days” now the doubts have been raised is, whats the actual number of deaths in china that affected by the virus which is been spread throughout the world?? The question is raised because the data released from china is also saying that 21 million ie 2 crore cell phones accounts in china were cancelled after coronavirus, 840,000 landlines were closed in China and the fact is like we are connecting our data to SIM under the name of digital India, china is 10 steps ahead of us in this case. Chinese authority introduced mandatory facial scans on Dec 2019 to confirm the identity of the person who registered the phone.

The Chinese people also have to sync their bank accounts as well their health problems, financial status and social security accounts with their cell phones as the apps can detect the SIM card and then check with the databases to make sure the no. belongs to the person. So you can definitely say the Mob. No has become an integral part of their life.

India does not depend on the export business for the GDP, so IF global consumption slows down it will have a significant impact on the Indian economy. BUT if the shutdown doesn't get finished in 21 days as declared then many businesses will have a huge loss. in this case, the government have to put money in the citizens accounts for the survival just as the USA.

This was clearly wrong move by China by not having international cooperation. In G20 summit India claimed that 90% of Covid-19 cases & 88% of deaths were in G20 represented countries. PM Modi called G2O to come out with a concrete action plan to fight the global pandemic.

Whole world should stand together for fighting with this pandemic. Should the Supreme court judge have a political career after retirement?

Well, many of you might have not even thought about this topic before but this sounded soo interesting that couldn't hold myself behind by writing on this. So let me 1^st give a small briefing on how SCJ is appointed & their work, a past case which took place regarding this & prose and cons on this topic so that you can decide whether it is beneficial for the nation or can turn harmful.

Now under article 80 of, the constitution president can appoint 12 MPs having "special knowledge or practice experience of literature, science, art and social service” to the Rajya sabha. Currently, Former chief justice Ranjan Gogoi nominated to Rajya sabha by the president.

And the 21^st CJI, Ranganath Mishra, served as an MP in the upper house from 1998-2004. However, Justice Mishra was a congress mp, not a member of eminence appointed by the president and he was appointed to the supreme court in 1893 and become CJI in 1990. He joined the congress about seven years after his retirement in 1991.

#Case: CJI Deepak Mishra was accused of bench fixing i.e whenever a politically controversial case comes under them, they selectively pass them to such judges repeatedly who shall give favourable judgement. This has happened multiple times and not once & judges stated that justice Loya’s case was tipping point i.e over the top of limits crossed and they were compelled to call a press conference. In 2010, Amit shah went jail for fake encounter case after which he got bail, 1^st judge was transferred n 2^nd was Loya Ji. After lots of hearings, finally, he put up a date on Dec 2014 for which Amit shah had to come, but coincidentally justice Loya died on 30^th Nov 2014. The report stated heart attack but he didn’t have any history of heart attack and 3^rd judge who came to continue the proceeding discharged/ cleared charges against Amit shah within 1 month.

When you attach a stigma to politics that people with the clean image shouldn't be attached to a political leaning you are not ready for political reform. We need more credible and abled people like Judges, military, doctors, professors, lawyers, economists in politics to take this country forward They should go for a political campaign and not someone who's father was a politician.

The corrupt will stay corrupt no matter which field they belong too. ... But my question is herewith. Why there isn't a person with great calibre in science, literature, and welfare? To think and pass their thoughts, when the bill will impacts what will happen in that field.

Cons: Somewhere the bigger issue is that govt. can try to pitch pillar of the judiciary, we have 4 pillars of democracy: legislature, executive, judiciary, free media, media has gone silent since it has nothing left & govt. is trying its level best to get its influence on the judiciary

“Pre-retirement judgments are influenced by a desire for a post-retirement job, This clamour for post-retirement jobs is adversely affecting the impartiality of the judiciary of the country and time has come that it should come to an end…” If a CJI can become a member of parliament, it means his judgments can never be impartial, as he will look for his political career and won't go against the interest of political parties and giving decision in favour of strong ruling govt as well...

I opposed the idea of joining any political party after becoming an important figure in Indian. There are other lots of powerful and prestigious posts too which may be offered to them...

Same time there is impartial and unbiased kind of image of CJI. If joins RS then definitely opposition will raise the question

This will promote other judges to give decisions in favour of the ruling party. This is very dangerous for our democracy. Injustice can happen with anyone

China has a huge size and also emerged as a major market, so potential in charge is affected by the global economic slowdown, travel & tourism sector has a bigger hit, even the students studying there are brought back by Air India.

Automobile & Electronic industries get affected.
Bangladesh depends on Chinese fabrics and the supply chain gets disturbed causing various impact.
Belt and Road initiative also depends on cement and transportation.
Even BRI will also get affected including 60 more countries.
Japan buy weapons and Tokyo Olympics which are to be conducted on 24^th July 2020, the sponsors and funding are on the stake because of restriction on travel.

And after SAARC the Chinese economy will boom again with higher speed, so truly India should think about how to get benefited, for the after the time period of Corona.

Indian authorities have responded very maturely and we should be prepared for such emergencies,

Bigger population meant greater chances that a sick animal should spread disease farmers were also raising a wide variety of animals which meant more viruses on farms

But after a few months after the outbreak, the Chinese govt. declared 54 species of wildlife animals including civet cats, legal to farm again and then in 2016 give sanctioned the farming of some endangered species like tigers and pangolins

They were also promoted as tonic products as body-building, as sex-enhancing and of course like a disease-fighting. None of the claims can hold water.
Yet these products become popular with an influential portion of the Chinese population

Soon after the coronavirus outbreak, the Chinese govt. shut down thousands of wet markets and temporarily banned wildlife trade again
