Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson is in serious financial trouble, reports in the US media say. The star owes money to a construction company that helped her renovate her Malibu home, but also to the Government, as she’s yet to pay all her taxes, ContactMusic informs, citing several reports in the national tabloids.

Anderson is in debt and she’s beginning to feel the heat to pay it up, it is being said. However, the big problem is that all the debts amount to an impressive $1.2 million, a sum Anderson reportedly does not have. The construction company that Pamela reportedly stiffed might be considering taking legal action against the star in case she fails to comply with the payment notice.

“Hollywood pin-up Pamela Anderson is facing bankruptcy after racking up a series of unpaid debts, according to US reports. The ‘Baywatch’ star is being chased by a construction company who completed renovation work on her Malibu, California home in 2008. Bruder Construction filed a $674,043 lien against the star for costs including labor, materials and sub-contractors’ fees, according to America’s Star magazine. And the US government is also allegedly owed $252,360 by Anderson for an unpaid income tax bill.” ContactMusic writes.

A removal company, Mini-Haulers, is also owed money, with Anderson failing to meet her end of the bargain after it helped her relocate to the trailer park she’s now living in as she’s waiting for the renovation work to be completed. Given that Mini-Haulers and Bruder Construction are now saying they’ll act jointly against the star in the court of law, and assuming she does not have this kind of money to pay off the debt, chances are she will remain at the trailer park for a while longer, other reports say.

“A lot of people are owed a lot of money.” Bruder is telling the media. Mini-Haulers president Jim Brown is equally adamant that Anderson needs to be held accountable for her refusal to pay up. “Putting food on the table isn’t easy in this economy. When someone doesn’t pay their bills, it’s that much harder!” Brown adds. Pamela Anderson, on the other hand, hasn’t made any comment regarding the pending lawsuit until now.

The Queen of pop has kicked off her 'Sticky and Sweet' world tour in Cardiff before an estimated 40,000 fans.

Madonna, who turned 50 on August 16, made a grand entrance on a throne and belted out her new hit, Candy Shop , as spectators, including her husband Guy Ritchie and children Lourdes, Rocco and adopted son David cheered.

The star showed no signs of fatigue as she pole danced, sang 20 songs, including old favourites like La Isla Bonita and went through eight costume changes during the two-hour show.

Cardiff was the first stop on the 'Sticky and Sweet' tour, which will take her to 51 venues - 16 in Europe, including London's Wembley Stadium, before heading to North America and ending in December in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

More than 650 hours of rehearsals have gone into the stage show, which involves 250 crew members, 16 dancers and jewellery worth nearly $2 million. The show is divided into four sections: "gangsta pimp, rave, gypsy and old school." The 'old school' bit is a return to her early years in downtown New York City.

Madonna's last tour - "Confessions" was in 2006. The Michigan-born star started her life as Louise Veronica Ciccone with early ambitions to be a dancer and to find the fastest exit out of small town America.
