MAC ID

MAC ID is the physical address of your laptop.
It has twelve alphanumeric characters separated
into six groups of two characters. Each group is separated by a hyphen.
An example for a MAC ID is as follows: 00-14-85-0D-37-29. Users can
provide up to 3 MAC IDs, in case their laptops have multiple network
interface (eg. Ethernet, WI-Fi, etc).

The MAC ID of the laptop (only for laptops with Windows Operating Systems) can be obtained as follows

For Windows XP

1. Click Start -> Control Panel.

2. The Control Panel window opens. Click Network and Internet Connections..

3. The Network and Internet Connections window opens. Click Network Connections.

4. The Network Connection window opens. Double-click Local Area Connection icon.

5. The Local Area Connection Status dialog opens. Click Support tab.

6. Click Details button

7. The value corresponding to Physical Address is the MAC ID of the system.

For Windows Vista and Windows 7

1. Click Windows icon -> Control Panel

2. The Control Panel window opens. Click Network and Sharing Center.

3. The Network and Sharing Center window opens. Click View Status

4. The Local Area Connection Status dialog box opens. Click Details button.

5. The value corresponding to Physical Address is the MAC ID of the system.

COMMAND LINE MODE

1. Click Start -> Run

2. The Run dialog box opens. Enter the command cmd in the text box and click OK.

3. The command line editor of windows opens. Type the command ipconfig /all and press Enter key.

4. If you are using a wired Internet, then the MAC ID of the system will be the value
corresponding to the Physical Address field under the Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection section.
If you are using a wireless Internet then the MAC ID of the system will be the value corresponding
to the Physical Address field under the Wireless Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection section.

Summary

iPod nano, iPod nano (Second Generation), iPod nano (4th generation), iPod nano (5th generation), and Fifth Generation iPod (also known as iPod with video) include Screen Lock, which allows you to set a 4-digit combination to prevent someone else from using your iPod while it is not attached to a computer. When an iPod is locked, you must enter the combination to unlock the screen. This feature is different from the Hold switch in that the Hold switch only prevents iPod from turning on accidentally—not keeping snoops out.

About Screen Lock Security

Screen Lock only locks users out of the user interface. It does not encrypt data on your iPod. For example, if you use Screen Lock and then connect your iPod to a computer, you'll be able to manage music on your iPod with iTunes and access all data on it in disk mode (contacts, notes, and any other files you have stored on the iPod).

You'll find the Screen Lock menu in the Extras menu (Extras > Screen Lock):

Setting a Combination

To use Screen Lock, first set a combination for your iPod:

From the Screen Lock menu, select Set Combination (or select Lock, depending on the iPod model).
In the Set Code screen, start entering a combination by scrolling the Click Wheel to dial-up the first number. You can also press the Previous/Rewind or Next/Fast-forward button to scroll through numbers.
When you get the desired number, press the Center button to confirm your choice; the second number will then be highlighted.
Use the same method to set the remaining three digits of your code.
After entering the last digit, you'll be returned to the Screen Lock menu.

Note: Your iPod will continue to use the same combination until you change it. You will be requested to enter the old combination before you can set a new one.

Locking Your iPod

After you've committed your combination to memory, you can lock your iPod by following these steps:

Select Extras > Screen Lock > Turn Screen Lock On. (If you haven't set a combination, the Set Code screen appears for you to set your combination.)
iPod displays a "Please remember it!" message in the Screen Lock menu; select Lock to lock your iPod.
Once locked, iPod displays an Enter Code screen. You'll also see a key icon in the upper-right corner that tells you your iPod is locked.

Unlocking iPod

You can unlock iPod in one of two ways:

Enter the combination on iPod using the same controls you used to set the combination. If you do not enter the correct combination, the digits onscreen flash red. When you enter the combination correctly, iPod will unlock and return you to the last viewed screen.
Connect iPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one iPod synced with), and open iTunes. When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked.

If you can't unlock iPod using either of these methods, you can restore your iPod to factory settings. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to iPod.

If you want to change the primary computer that your iPod is associated with, do this:

Restore your iPod. Warning: The restore process cannot be undone. All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data.
Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer.
Open iTunes and synchronize.

Locked iPod Behavior

If your iPod was playing music when you locked it, it will continue to play. You won't be able to adjust the volume or change songs when iPod is locked because these controls are used to unlock the combination. You can pause and resume playback using the Play/Pause button.

When iPod is locked, the Enter Code screen continues to display until one of the following occurs:

You enter the correct combination
Once you enter the correct combination, the previous state appears.
You force iPod to sleep
Press and hold the Play/Pause button to put it to sleep. When you wake it, the Enter Code screen appears.
iPod goes to sleep by itself
After 2 minutes of inactivity, iPod will go to sleep by itself. When you wake it, the Enter Code screen appears.
You connect iPod to a computer
When you connect your iPod to any high-power USB port, it displays the "Do not disconnect" message. iPod will behave identically to an unlocked iPod that's connected to a computer. For example, you can copy data to and from it if it's in disk mode, and manage its music and photos in iTunes.

Important: Apple representatives cannot unlock an iPod if you forget your combination. If you can't unlock your iPod and you don't have access to the primary computer, your only option is to restore the iPod, which will erase all music and data.

Adding Screen Lock to the Main Menu

If you use Screen Lock frequently, you may want to add it to your iPod main menu for fast access. Just select Settings > Main Menu, then select Screen Lock to change its status to On. Screen Lock should now appear in the main menu.

Before the series reboot of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, screenwriter Robin Morningstar entered into correspondance with Jordan Mechner about approaching a studio with a film project of the series. His script was based on the story of the original 1989 game. Robin Morningstar was cut out of the process by Jordan Mechner's attorney shortly before the reboot and Disney acquiring the film rights. The film in production shares no similarity with Robin Morningstar's script.
The film project, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, is due out in May 2010.
Awards
The success of the Prince of Persia series resulted in Guinness World Records awarding the series 6 world records in the Guinness World Records: Gamer's Edition 2008. These records include, "First Motion-Capture Animation in a Video Game" and "Highest Rated Plat-former on PS2 and Xbox".

PCSX2 is a PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.[1] The main bottleneck in PS2 emulation is emulating the multi-core PS2 on PC x86 architecture. Although each CPU can be emulated well, getting the synchronization and timing between them to be accurate is very difficult.

PCSX2, like its predecessor project PCSX, is based on a plugin architecture, separating several functions from the core emulator. These are the graphics, controls, CD/DVD drive, USB, sound and FireWire (i. Link) ports. Different plugins may produce different results in both compatibility and performance. Additionally, PCSX2 requires a copy of the PS2 BIOS to operate, which is not offered for download by the developer, due to the copyright concerns and legal issues associated with it. A free clone of the official BIOS is in development.

Let’s take a quick and interesting look at the awesome cast of the upcoming Tekken: Live Action Movie:

Gary Ray Stearns as Yoshimitsu
Gary plays the role of the strange and enigmatic Yoshimitsu. I have high expectations from this guy, although he’s known to be a good stuntman and had participated in movies such as Pirates of the Carribbean, Indiana Jones, and Kill Bill. Yoshimitsu I believe is a god of the Manji clan; I’ve always been amazed by his samurai moves (who isn’t?). And I think it’s great that they included his character in the upcoming Tekken movie. I can’t wait to see the special effects!

Luke Goss as Steve Fox
We’ve seen Luke’s fighting prowess in several movie appearances like in Hellboy 2. I’ve no doubts about this guy; having a strong facial resemblance to Steve Fox and a talent in fighting, he’d pull off the role with flying colors.

Anton Kasabov as Sergei Dragunov
Anton plays the role of a fellow Russian, Sergei Dragunov, whose reputation on the battlefield earned him the title “The White Angel of Death”. If you ask me, Sergei looks like a walking corpse: cold, creepy, and sinister.

Darrin Dewitt Henson as Raven
If you think it’s Blade, look closer. Raven isn’t a nocturnal creature out to save human kind, but rather an international intelligence agent with ninjutsu as his second nature. And with world-reknowned choreographer and actor Darrin Dewitt Henson playing his character, we may be able to see this Raven character dance in the upcoming Tekken movie!

Candice Hillebrand as Nina Willams
Combine a kick-ass military fighter and a foxy lady and you get Nina Williams, Anna’s sister and arch rival for their father’s affection, and in everything else! Playing her character is an equally sexy singer-slash-model Candice Hillebrand, who has graced the covers of Maxim more than once.

Roger Huerta as Miguel Caballero Rojo
The Spanish brawler/bullfighter Miguel is played by none other than El Matador himself, UFC fighter Roger Huerta. Miguel is one of the newer characters of Tekken and it’s quite intriguing why he made it to the character list of the movie. I think it’s a great idea to cast a real Mexican fighter for this role.

I’m a bit disappointed of not finding the other superstar Tekken characters in the movie like Paul Phoenix, Lei Wulong, and (Hwoarang - confirmed to appear in the movie! See update below). But maybe the writers have a pretty good reason why, and it makes me anticipate this movie all the more. And I do hope they make a sequel for this one. I know it’s a bit early to request for such, but I think it’s gonna be great to see all of the Tekken characters come to life in the big screen.

Holly Marie Combs as Michelle Chang
Holly’s aura exude that of a strong woman with a sense of dignity and belief in herself – perfect for a character like Michelle Chang. Frankly, I never expected they’d include Michelle’s character in the upcoming movie, alongside new characters like Miguel and Christie. Julia’s character was more likely to have been included, but nevertheless it’s Michelle that made it to the character list.

Cung Le as Marshall Law
Nothing would be smarter than casting a real-life undefeated champion for the role of Marshall Law, Tekken’s own “Bruce Lee”. Cung Le has an amazing record of 22 wins and 0 losses in his kickboxing career. And his fit physique makes him a perfect “Law” – with or without a mustache (let’s just do something about those eyebrows…).

Chiaki Kuriyama as Ling Xiaoyu
We were first awed by Chiaki when she played the “high-school-girl-slash-killing-machine” character Gogo Yubari in Kill Bil. She will be playing a much older Ling in Tekken, and I can’t wait to see her moves once again!

Tamlyn Tomita as Jun Kazama
Who doesn’t remember that beautiful face from Karate Kid II? Tamlyn Tomita played Mr. Miyagi’s daughter and Daniel’s object of affection in that long ago movie, and will now play Jun Kazama, the undercover psychic with the purest of hearts.

Jae Hee as Hwoarang
Gangster leader and Jin’s arch rival, Hwoarang, will be played by none other than South Korean actor Jae Hee! I’ve seen this guy only in the TV series of Sassy Girl Chun Hyang , and it would be great to see him in the big screen kick ass, literally! Although he already starred in movies such as Art of Fighting (2006), an action/drama/comedy film, which showcased his talent for martial arts.

So that’s it, so far! It’s possible that more casts will be added to the film as we speak, and I’m still crossing my fingers for Paul Phoenix and Lei Wulong.

Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as Heihachi Mishima
My favorite faces in Hollywood since his Mortal Kombat days! Those sharp eyes and raised eyebrows are just few of the things that make this actor sell, wait till you see him in action. I’d say the perfect Heihachi is Cary and none other!

Lateef Crowder as Eddie Gordo
Lateef and Eddie have three things in common: they’re both Brazilians, they know Capoeira, and they both sport cool dreds.

Nathan Jones as Craig Marduk
Australia’s reigning strongest man Nathan Jones will be portraying Craig Marduk, the character which many believe to have been inspired by Jones himself. Both are professional Vale Tudo fighters, are Australians, having the same physical characteristics – from height to weight to the hard bald head, and both served time in prison. A lot of people had been wanting to see Jones play Marduk. Well, this is it guys!

Kelly Overton as Christie Monteiro
Voted the most graceful of all Tekken characters, Christie Monteiro is sure to sweep you off your feet in the upcoming Tekken movie with her Capoeira moves and by the actress behind her character, the beautiful and talented Kelly Overton.

Gary Daniels as Bryan Fury
Bryan Fury is Tekken’s version of “Robocop”, but if you ask me I think he’s more of a cross between Rambo and Predator. And yes, he’s always furious. Playing his character is a former Light Heavyweight Kickboxing champion from England, Gary “DangerMan” Daniels, who has an impressive record of 22-4, and has starred in movies alongside Jackie Chan and Steven Seagal.

Marian Zapico as Anna Williams
Dashing Latina actress Marian Zapico plays the seductive and mischievous Anna Williams. But can she carry the bazooka as smoothly as this Tekken chick?

Ian Anthony Dale as Kazuya Mishima
Avatar Gamma of Charmed plays the villainous Kazuya, son of Heihachi and heir of Mishima Zaibatsu. Ian got the looks but I hope he got the moves, too!

Jon Foo as Jin Kazama

Who’s this guy? Frankly, I’ve never heard of him until I checked the casting call of Tekken. He’s been in a couple of martial arts movies as a stunt actor including Batman Begins (one of the shadow warriors). Congratulations to this guy for getting a break! If you ask me, I think he’s a bit too young to play the Jin Kazama character. Hmm, we’ll see when this movie comes out *fingers crossed*.

Tekken (鉄拳?, lit. Iron Fist) is a series of fighting games developed and published by Namco. Originally an arcade game, versions exist for the PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, WonderSwan, and Game Boy Advance. The story in each game in the series (with the exception of the non-canon game Tekken Tag Tournament) documents the events of the fictional martial arts tournament, The King of Iron Fist Tournament, with the game's chronological number corresponding with the current iteration of the tournament. The tournament is always hosted by a financial corporation called the "Mishima Zaibatsu", with the tournament prize generally being control of the company offered to the victor (who then is free to host the next King of Iron Fist tournament). Tekken is a 2009 live-action film, based on the popular fighting game series of the same name. The film follows Jin Kazama (John Foo)[1] in his attempts to rid himself of the devil which plagues his soul. Now a man, he must confront his father, Kazuya Mishima (Ian Anthony Dale) and his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa). The film is being directed by Dwight H. Little and is set for a Fall 2009 release date to coincide with the home console release of Tekken 6 being released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the PlayStation Portable on October 27, 2009
* John Foo as Jin Kazama: A young and talented fighter who has a dark power within him. The Devil Gene he has inherited from his father, Kazuya Mishima, is slowly tearing him apart and consuming his mind with evil and hate. He now realizes that the only way he can save himself is to confront both his father and grandfather, Heihachi Mishima, both of whom have their own agendas for Jin's power. All of this comes to a head at The King of Iron Fist Tournament, Jin's one chance at confronting his father and grandfather to defeat them and redeem his soul. In real life, John Foo is a Wushu master apart from acting. Originally, the director asked Ryan Merriman to take up the role of Jin but Merriman declined for unknown reasons.

* Ian Anthony Dale as Kazuya Mishima: A powerful karate fighter, Kazuya is the son of Heihachi Mishima and the father of Jin Kazama. He possesses the power of the Devil Gene, which his son inherited.

* Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as Heihachi Mishima: The chairman of the Tekken Corporation, that is being investigated of murder. He is the father of Kazuya, and the grandfather of Jin Kazama. An experienced fighter himself, he announces The King of Iron Fist Tournament to crown the best fighter on Earth. However, Heihachi has his own plans for the tournament. Tagawa is known for playing another fighting game character, Shang Tsung, in the first Mortal Kombat film.

* Kelly Overton as Christie Monteiro: A Brazilian Capoeira practitioner and student of Eddy Gordo.

* Luke Goss as Steve Fox: A talented boxer from England that was once one of the best fighters of the world, but had passed his prime. Goss was the first confirmed actor in the film, and explained that his character has "some fights out of the ring".[3]

* Cung Le as Marshall Law: A Jeet Kune Do fighter. Le is a mixed martial artist, and his presence in the movie was confirmed in the end of 2008 by Kung Fu Cinema.[4]

* Gary Daniels as Bryan Fury: A former Interpol officer that competes in the tournament. Daniels is a former kickboxer himself, which is the same fighting style used by his character in the videogames.

* Candice Hillebrand as Nina Williams: A cold-blooded assassin and mother of Steve Fox.

* Marian Zapico as Anna Williams: The sister and rival of Nina Williams.

* Darrin Dewitt Henson as Raven: An international intelligence agent considered highly skilled and iron-hearted, codename Raven.

* Nathan Jones as Craig Marduk: A professional Vale Tudo fighter. The character of Marduk was indeed modeled after Jones for the videogames.

* Lateef Crowder as Eddy Gordo: A Brazilian Capoeira practitioner and mentor of Christie Monteiro. Crowder was offered the role due to his real-life Capoeira skills and resemblance to Eddy.

* Tamlyn Tomita as Jun Kazama: Jin Kazama's mother. After her assassination, Jin enters the tournament to avenge her.

* Gary Ray Stearns as Yoshimitsu: A mystic, Ninja-esque armored swordsman.

* Anton Kasabov as Sergei Dragunov: A member of SPETSNAZ, Dragunov is considered the very symbol of fear on the battlefield whose overwhelming fighting prowess has earned him the title "The White Angel of Death".
