Filipino Store Shopping!

Last couple days ago, i went with my honey to the job site where he work at. On our way back home, it was the way where it close to one of my favorite filipino store. Everytime we close to that way i really make sure and always ask my hubby to drop by because if not, my day will be miserable. And everytime we made a stop over on that store my $50 wasn't enough because not just one store i usually went to because next to it is the manila bakery selling not just bread, but different kind of kakanin, filipino food (kanin at ulam) and many more.
That made my day so beautiful like me! :-) he he.

Look what i got? That was just the thing that i bought from my blog money. Yes, i bought 2 recipe book, a celphone for my smart roaming sim, and a smart buddy cards.
When i start blogging i never really believe that i can earn even a little way with that. I did it at first just for fun and something to do on my boring time before when i still got no job. But look, i got a souvenir from doing blog. I am so happy when i got them all.
So guys, enjoy blogging its fun and a rewarding even in a little way.

I have a high respect and admiration about there presidential candidates here in States. How smart they are about what "Change" they can make to this country. Even i can't vote because i am not a citizen here but still i care about what gonna happened in this country because this become my second home now. Obama Baiden and Mc Cain Palin are all smart candidates, they both have good plan what's best for this country.
But i feel so sad and lessen my respect with this video when Obama called VP candidates a "PIG" such an inaapropriate word to use. What you think??

Losing a loveones isn't easy to deal with specially if not just one but two. But i am so grateful that even i am miles miles away from home, there's so many friend who were there to comfort me, support me and help me in any way. The Last Memory I had with my Father

This was the last time i saw my father when i went home for a funeral for my grandmother. I sneak out took a picture of him while he was doing his laundry in the small river close to his house and he was the one who took that picture of me when he try to learn how to use digital camera. It was a good visit and i never expected it to be the last one and never see him forever anymore.
I don't why these all tragedy happened to me. I am still in grieve for a sudden death of my grandmother who raised me and now my father died. And it was horrible cause of death, somebody robbed, stubbed and shot him. How could people did such an awful things, how could they harm a man without a gun or anything to fight back. I am deep sorrow right now, i can't go home because we still coping up financially from my last trip and other financial problem here.
God, help me with all of this!!!

I'm tired with my work in burgers and fries restaurant. It so tiring doing the preparations every morning from meat making patties and cutting veggies like tomato, onions and lettuce. Because our burger is made fresh and cook in front of the people as they ordered, so we need to prepared it every morning before we opened at 11:00 a.m and as fast as we can. And when it opened i am in topping section, i need to move as fast as i can putting all the toppings that every customer wanted to have on there burger. I was planning to get another job but i need to wait until i finish my Nurse Assisstant Training that will start next month, so i need to have a little bit more of patience. It still a good start for me here though, because they give an opportunity to get that training as well as working part time in the restaurant. Just help me Lord!

Stubborn Storm Fay

Stubborn tropical storm Fay as they called is starting to pass by in Jacksonville Florida at this moment and will start to make a lot of mess for sure in the other places. We been expecting Fay for couple days since earlier this week before she finally arrived here in jax the other. She first torn up other part of florida, leaving them a lot of damages, power outages and five people killed in part of miami before she came here in jax. She been playing in florida for 4 days. And looked the damages that she caused here in jax, falling down trees include one in our backyard, flooding in many area, tornadoes in some part of jax and power down for hours and days in some areas and it said in the news that 7 people died here in Jacksonville cause by Fay storm.

We are just so lucky in the part of town we at because we didn't experience much of flood and power just went out for 8 hours or less. So, if happen that this stubborn storm will hit in your place just prepare.

Gone for too Long

I was gone for too long, more than a month i didn't update my blog and visit all my friends and I am sorry for that. Unfortunately, there was a family emergency happened and was the reason i need to flew back to the Philippines last July. My dear grandmother who raised me and who taught me everything about life passed last month. It really brought me down. She was a typical grandmother that taught me in a hard way, as well as love me in a hard way, she was so proud grandma that she raised me. Everytime i talked to her on the phone i felt the love and she said she missed me she always told me that. It was hard because she really meant what she said the last time we saw each other. Before i left last year (my way here to US) i visited her and while we are waiting a bus she said that "this might be our last time we see each other because we never when i will be coming back again" I told her to shut up and jokely told that she will still have a long life because she a bad grass in this world and we laugh together. And told her that she will still see her great grandkids from me and deep in my heart that was am hoping too. But it will never to happen now that she is gone.
It was a sudden death, until now i can't feel still she was gone. I know no matter what and where she is right now, she always with me in my heart.

Eye for eye! Thats the justice that the Ruis-Martinez family want for their 11 year old boy that kidnapped, raped, tortured and strangled to death on year 1991. It said that he became obssessed when he first saw the boy picture at the news and he find way to get close and befriended the family and then later on he kidnapped, raped and killed the boy found dead in footlocker.
He set to death for lethal injection today and he will be the first executions since the Supreme Court once again ruled lethal injections are constitutional, not cruel and unusual punishment.
I don't know why and how they called it not cruel setting person to death maybe because you will die not feeling any pain, i know it was wrong taking people's life but for the cruelty that he did to the boy i can't blame the family want his life also. It sad but i hope and pray the boy is happy wherever he is now and in at peace.
