This is probably the easiest way to make your N9 calendar sync with Google Calendar. You may stick with this method if you don't need Outlook syncing. <br />

<li style="margin-bottom: 0.1em;">Go to Accounts > Add Account > CalDAV </li>
<li style="margin-bottom: 0.1em;">Username is your full Google Calendar (including @gmail.com) username and password</li>
<li style="margin-bottom: 0.1em;">Server: <code>www.google.com</code></li>

Various solutions found on the web were ranging from ridiculous to utterly crazy, like installing ancient versions of OVI Suite and stopping it from updating itself (once it updates everything's lost). I really started missing my good ol' N8 and the convenience of Nokia Suite. Syncing contacts, calendar, messages, music, videos and stuff like connection to mobile internet with your phone as a modem.<br />
<br />
There are, however several ways you can sync your sleek Nokia N9 mail, calendar and contacts. I am going to list some of them,<br />
<br />
<b>1. Use gmail as Mail For Exchange account</b><br />
<br />
<b>Advantages</b>:<br />
<ol>
<li>It syncs your contacts, mail and calendar with your google account</li>
<li>Works like a charm if you don't use Outlook and stick to Google Calendar</li>
</ol>
<br />
<b>Disadvantages</b>:<br />
<ol>
<li>Google doesn't sync with Outlook. Well, technically there is additional app you can use called Google Calendar Sync but for some obscure reason it didn't do anything for me (it just did nothing).</li>

<b>2. Create your Windows Live account to sync Nokia N9 with Outlook 2007/2010 (smartest solution IMHO)</b><br />

<b>Advantages</b>:<br />

<li>Syncs Nokia N9 with Windows Live account AND Outlook seamlessly.</li>
<li>Works like a charm.</li>
</ol>
<br />
<b>Disadvantages</b>: <br />
<ol>
<li>There's a need to install an Outlook add-on called Microsoft Outlook Hotmail Connector. This is a free piece of software that comes with Live Essentials.</li>
<li>Might be a bit complicated to set up. </li>
