Daily Forex Analysis

USDCHF Analysis.

Being contained by 1.0338 key resistance, USDCHF trades in a narrow range above 1.0218, as long as this level holds, one more rise to test 1.0338 resistance is still possible later today, however, lengthier consolidation would more likely be seen before breaking above this level. Key support is now located at 1.0218, below this level will suggest that a short term cycle top is being formed on 4-hour chart, then range trading between 1.0136 and 1.0338 is expected to follow.

AUDUSD Analysis.

AUDUSD has formed a short term cycle bottom at 0.9014 level on 4-hour chart. Bounce towards the falling trend line from 0.9404 to 0.9321 would more likely be seen in a couple of days. Support levels are at 0.9110 and 0.9014, only fall below these levels could signal another fall towards 0.8916 critical support.

GBPUSD Analysis.

GBPUSD remains in downtrend from 1.6721 and the price action from 1.6167 is treated as consolidation of downtrend. As long as 1.6371 resistance holds, another fall towards 1.6000 area is expected and a breakdown below 1.6167 will signal resumption of downtrend.

EURUSD Analysis.

Being contained by 1.4626 support, EURUSD trades in a narrow range between 1.4668 and 1.4781. The pair might be forming a short term cycle bottom at 1.4668 on 4-hour chart, key resistance is located at 1.4781, a break above this level will confirm the cycle bottom and signal further rally to 1.4900-1.4950 area. Key support is located at 1.4626, below this level will indicate that the longer term uptrend from 1.3748 (June 16 low) has completed at 1.5144 already.

USDJPY Analysis.

USDJPY is forming a short term cycle bottom at 87.37 level on 4-hour chart, key resistance is located at 88.70, a break above this level will confirm the cycle bottom and indicate that the fall from 90.76 has completed, then the follow uptrend could bring price to 89.50-90.00 area. Support level is now at 87.37, only break below this level could signal another fall to 86.50 zone.

USDCAD Analysis.

No changed in our view, USDCAD stays in a trading range between 1.0405 and 1.0748. Lengthier consolidation in range is still possible in a couple of day. Another fall towards 1.0206 (Oct 15 low) previous low would more likely be seen after consolidation and a breakdown below 1.0405 will confirm resumption of downtrend.

Daily Forex Analysis

AUDUSD Analysis.

AUDUSD formed a short term cycle bottom at 0.8946 level on 4-hour chart, further rise to test the resistance of the falling trend line from 0.9404 to 0.9321 is possible later today, a clear break above the trend line resistance will indicate that the fall 0.9404 has completed, then another rise towards 0.9500 could be seen to follow. Critical support is located at 0.8916, below this level will suggest that the uptrend from 0.7703 (July 13 low) has completed at 0.9404 already, then the following downtrend could bring price to 0.8500 zone.

GBPUSD Analysis.

GBPUSD stays below a falling trend line from 1.6875 to 1.6745, as long as the trend line resistance holds, the pair is treated in downward trend from 1.6875, deeper decline is expected to retest 1.5708 (Oct 13 low) support. However, another rise to test the trend line resistance is still possible, only a clear break above the trend line resistance could indicate that the fall from 1.6875 has completed.

EURUSD Analysis.

EURUSD traded in range between 1.4801 and 1.5144, lengthier consolidation in the range is expected in a couple of days. As long as 1.4801 support holds, we’d expect uptrend to resume and one more rise towards 1.5200-1.5300 area is possible. However, below 1.4801 key support will indicate that the uptrend from 1.3748 (Jun 16 low) has completed at 1.5144 level already, then the falling downtrend could take price to 1.4000 zone.

USDJPY Analysis.

USDJPY formed a short term cycle bottom at 84.82 level on 4-hour chart, further rise towards to falling trend line from 90.60 to 89.18 could be seen later today. As long as the trend line resistance holds, the rebound from 84.82 is treated as correction of downtrend from 92.32 and one more fall is still possible after consolidation. However, a clear break above the trend line resistance will indicate that the fall from 92.32 has completed at 84.82 already, then next target would be at 90.00 zone.

USDCAD Analysis.

USDCAD formed a trading range between 1.0416 and 1.0748. Now the fall from 1.0748 is more likely resumption of downtrend, another fall to test 1.0416 support is possible in a couple of day, a break below this level will signal deeper decline towards 1.0206 (Oct 15 low). Resistance is at 1.0748, only rise above this level will signal further rally towards 1.0852 previous high.

USDCHF Analysis.

USDCHF stays in a trading range between 0.9917 and 1.0222, lengthier consolidation in the range is still possible in a couple of days. As long as 1.0222 resistance holds, another fall towards 0.9800 is still possible. Only rise above 1.0222 key resistance could indicate that the fall from 1.1021 has completed.

First of all, the Gamer Supreme 979 SLC is a PC for extreme gamers. It gets an Intel Corei7 3.33Ghz processor, which is cooled by the 240mm Asetek Liquid Cooling Solution. SGI unveiled its Altix UV that claims to be the world’s fastest supercomputer. The Altix UV is based on quad-, six-, or eight-core Intel Xeon (Nehalem-EX) processors and allows scaling from 32 to 2,048 cores with architectural provisioning for up to 262,144 cores, while supports up to 16 terabytes of global shared memory in a single system image. GBPUSD Analysis.

After a sharp drop from 1.6875, GBPUSD rebounded from 1.6460 level. However, the rise could possibly be consolidation of downtrend, another fall to 1.6300-1.6350 area is still possible after consolidation. Resistance is now at 1.6670 followed by 1.6720, only rise above these levels will indicate that the uptrend from 1.5708 has resumed, then another rise towards 1.6950-1.700 area could be seen to follow.

USDJPY Analysis.

USDJPY continues its downward trend from 92.32 and the fall extends further to as low as 88.57. Deeper decline towards 88.01 previous low is still possible later today. Resistance is at 89.20 followed by 89.55, and key resistance is located at the upper border of the falling price channel on 4-hour chart, a clear break above the channel resistance will suggest that the downtrend from 92.32 has completed, then the following uptrend could bring price back to 91.00 or even 92.00.

USDCAD Analysis.

USDCAD broke below 1.614 key support, suggesting that a short term cycle top has been formed at 1.0731 level on 4-hour chart. Now the pair is testing the support of the lower border of price channel on 4-hour chart, a clear break below the channel support will confirm that the uptrend from 1.0416 has completed at 1.0731 already, then another fall towards 1.0206 (Oct 15 low) could be seen to follow.

USDCHF Analysis.

USDCHF drops below the rising trend line on 4-hour chart suggesting completion of uptrend from 1.0035. Now the fall from 1.0222 could possibly be resumption of longer term downtrend from 1.1024 (June 24 high). Deeper decline towards 1.0032 previous low is expected later today, a breakdown below this level will signal resumption of downtrend, then another fall towards 0.9900 could be seen.

AUDUSD Analysis.

AUDUSD rebounded sharply from 0.9060, suggesting that a short term cycle bottom is being formed on 4-hour chart, and the rise could possibly be resumption of longer term uptrend from 0.7703 (July 13 low), another rise towards 0.9500 is now in favor. Support is located at 0.9060, only fall below this level could indicate that the pair remains in downtrend from 0.9404, then deeper decline is expected to test 0.8916 uptrend critical support.

EURUSD Analysis.

EURUSD broke above the falling trend line on 4-hour chart, suggesting that a short term cycle bottom has been formed at 1.4801 level, and the rise from 1.4801 could possibly be resumption of longer term uptrend from 1.3748 (June 16 low), another rise towards 1.5200 is now in favor. Support level is at 1.4801, only fall below this level could take price back to range trading between 1.4626 and 1.5062.

Daily Forex Analysis – November 23, 2009

USDJPY Analysis.

USDJPY stays in a falling price channel on 4-hour chart and remains in downward trend. Deeper decline towards 88.01 previous low is still possible later today, however, rebound is expected before breaking below this level. Initial resistance is at 89.15 followed by 89.55, key resistance is at the upper border of the price channel, a clear break above the channel resistance will suggest that the downtrend from 92.32 has completed, then the following uptrend could bring price back to 91.00 or even 92.00.

USDCAD Analysis.

USDCAD’s uptrend from 1.0416 extended further to as high as 1.0731, as long as 1.0614 support holds, we’d expect uptrend to continue and next target would be at 1.0800. However, below 1.0614 will suggest that a short term cycle top is being formed and the uptrend has completed.

USDCHF Analysis.

Being contained by 1.0032 previous low support, USDCHF rebounded from 1.0035. However, the price action from 1.0032 is more likely consolidation of longer term downtrend from 1.1024 (June 24 high), one more fall towards 0.9900 is still possible after consolidation. Support level is located at the rising trend line on 4-hour chart, a clear break below the trend line support could signal resumption of downtrend.

GBPUSD Analysis.

GBPUSD broke blow 1.6515 key support, suggesting that the uptrend from 1.5708 has completed at 1.6875 already. Deeper decline is still possible later today and next target would be at 1.6300-1.6350 area. Initial resistance is at 1.6590, as long as this level holds, downtrend will continue.

AUDUSD Analysis.

AUDUSD is in short term downtrend from 0.9404. Deeper decline is still possible later today and target would be at 0.9000 zone. On the up side, resistance is at 0.9235, above this level will indicate that the fall from 0.9404 has completed, then another rise towards 0.9500 could be seen to follow.

EURUSD Analysis.

EURUSD’s fall from 1.5048 extended further to as low as 1.4801. However, the price action from 1.5062 is more likely consolidation of longer term uptrend from 1.3748 (June 16 low), another rise towards 1.5200 is expected after consolidation. Resistance is now at the falling trend line on 4-hour chart, a clear above the trend line resistance will signal resumption of uptrend.

Elecom launches its new wireless Mouse “Like a SPOON” series which I am not sure from is the most comfortable mouse ever made for Man, but at least, you will be sure to get something pretty different from what you have been used to own. Powered by a single AAA battery, our 2.4Ghz wireless mouse is also pretty compact with a size of just 65.7x88.3x40.2mm and a weight of 115g only. The price is set at a somewhat steep ￥8,000 in Japan, which equates to about about $90.

Olympus Pen E-P1 gets Swarovski treatment

The retro-styled Micro Four Thirds Olympus Pen E-P1 digi-cam has been ruined, sorry enhanced with a "dazzling makeover" by Crystal Roc. Now covered in hundreds of "sparkling" Swarovski crystals it will be available exclusively to order from Harrods' Micro Anvika department.

In a special limited edition wooden box, which includes "two lenses" (no details provided - presumably the 14-42mm zoom and the 17mm "pancake" lens) and a matching flash, the crystal-encrusted Pen gets a price tag of £1999.99. Those not interested in stuck-on crystals would do well to hang on for the launch of the next-gen, slightly tweaked Olympus Pen E-P2, due in January.

USDCHF Analysis.

USDCHF stays in a trading range between 1.0035 and 1.0193. Moving sideways without trend in the range is expected later today. However, the price action from 1.0035 is more likely consolidation of downward trend from 1.0338, another fall towards 0.9900 is still possible after consolidation, and a breakdown below 1.0035 could signal resumption of downtrend.

GBPUSD Analysis.

GBPUSD broke above 1.6841 and reached as high as 1.6875, suggesting another rally towards 1.7042 (Aug 5 high). Support level is now at 1.6725, as long as this level holds, we’d expect uptrend from 1.6515 to continue.

AUDUSD Analysis.

AUDUSD is in uptrend from 0.8916. As long as support of rising trend line from 0.8916 to 0.9210 holds, uptrend will continue and next target would be at 0.9500 area. Key support is at 0.9210, only fall below this level will indicate that the rise from 0.8916 has completed.

EURUSD Analysis.

EURUSD formed a sideways consolidation in a range between 1.4821 and 1.5048. Lengthier consolidation would more likely be seen before breaking above 1.5062 previous high and another fall to test 1.4821 support is still possible later today.

USDCAD Analysis.

No changed in our view, USDCAD stays in a falling price channel and remains in downtrend from 1.0852. A break below 1.0416 will confirm that the fall from 1.0852 is resumption of long term downtrend, then next target could be seen to 1.0300 zone. However, a clear break above the channel resistance will indicate that the fall has completed at 1.0416 level already.

USDJPY Analysis.

USDJPY dropped below 89.29, suggesting another fall towards 88.01 previous low, however, rebound could be seen before breaking below this level. Resistance is at the falling trend line from 91.26 to 90.60, above the trend line resistance will indicate that the fall from 92.32 has completed.

Daily Forex Analysis

AUDUSD Analysis.

After breaking above 0.9326 previous high resistance, AUDUSD dropped below 0.9254 key support, suggesting that a short term cycle top has been formed at 0.9368 level on 4-hour chart and the rise from 0.8916 has completed. Pullback towards 0.9000 zone would more likely be seen in next several days. Resistance level is now located at 0.9368, only rise above this level will indicate that uptrend from 0.8916 has resumed, then next target would be at 0.9500 area.

GBPUSD Analysis.

GBPUSD’s fall from 1.6841 extended to as low as 1.6515. As long as 1.6660 key resistance holds, deeper decline is still possible, and next target would be at 1.6400 zone. However, the fall from 1.6841 is more likely consolidation of uptrend from 1.5708, another rise towards 1.7042 (Aug 5 high) could be seen after consolidation. Resistance is at 1.6660, above this level could signal resumption of uptrend.

EURUSD Analysis.

EURUSD broke below 1.4938 key support, suggesting that a short term cycle top has been formed at 1.5048 level on 4-hour chart and the rise from 1.4626 has completed. Further decline is now in favor and next target would be at 1.4750 zone. Resistance is now located at 1.4885 followed by 1.4910.

USDCAD Analysis.

USDCAD might be forming a short term cycle bottom at 1.0416 level on 4-hour chart. Further rise towards the upper border of the falling price channel is possible later today. As long as the channel resistance holds, we’d expect downtrend to resume, and another fall towards 1.0300 is still possible, however, a clear break above the channel resistance will indicate that the downtrend from 1.0852 has completed at 1.0416 level already, then another rise towards 1.1000 could be seen to follow.

USDJPY Analysis.

After breaking below 89.44 support, USDJPY rebounded from 89.29, suggesting range trading between 89.29 and 91.26 is underway. Further rise towards 91.26 is expected later today, a break above this level will indicate that a short term cycle bottom has been formed at 89.29 level on 4-hour chart and the fall from 92.32 has completed.

USDCHF Analysis.

USDCHF failed to break below 1.0032 and rebounded sharply to as high as 1.0193, suggesting that a short term cycle bottom has been formed at 1.0035 level on 4-hour chart, and the fall from 1.0338 has completed. Further rise to 1.0250 zone is possible later today. Support is now at 1.0145 followed by 1.0130.

Imation finally launches the first Wireless USB hard disk named Pro WX Wireless USB hard drive for both Windows and Mac having a storage capacity of 1.5TB at the starting price of $449.99. The device uses the near-wired speed of the ultra-wideband signal to duplicate the features of a normal USB hard drive without the need to string a cable for the roughly 30-foot range of the standard. The storage is as secure as physical USB, the company claims, and comes with a reportedly unique automatic backup utility that exploits the drive's ability to stay connected without necessarily using an extra USB port.

A swivel-out stand is built in to sit the drive vertically without needing an add-on cradle, as is a basic capacity gauge that warns when free drive space is running low.

Daily Forex Analysis

EURUSD Analysis.

Being contained by 1.5062 previous high resistance, EURUSD pulled back from 1.5019, suggesting that a minor consolidation of uptrend from 1.4626 is on the way. Another fall towards the lower border of the rising price channel is possible later today. However, as long as the channel support holds, we’d expect uptrend to resume and further rise towards 1.5200 could be seen after consolidation. Key resistance is at 1.5062, above this level will confirm the resumption of long term uptrend from 1.3748 (June 16 low).

GBPUSD Analysis.

After breaking above 1.6741 (Sept 11 high) resistance, GBPUSD pulled back from 1.6841, suggesting that a short term cycle top is being formed on 4-hour chart. Minor consolidation would more likely be seen in a couple of days and another fall to 1.6500-1.6550 area is expected. Resistance level is at 1.6841, above this level will signal further rally towards 1.7042 (Aug 5 high).

USDCAD Analysis.

USDCAD dropped sharply to as low as 1.0479 level. Deeper decline is still possible later today and next target would be at 1.4000 zone. Key resistance is now located at 1.0606, as long as this level holds, downtrend will continue, however a break above this level will indicate that a short term cycle bottom has been formed, then another rise towards 1.1000 could be seen to follow.

USDJPY Analysis.

USDJPY is testing 89.44 support, a break below this level will signal another fall towards 88.83 support. Resistance is now at 90.26, only rise above this level could take price back to range trading between 89.44 and 91.26.

USDCHF Analysis.

Being contained by 1.0032 support, USDCHF formed a narrow trading range above 1.0050. Minor consolidation of downtrend from 1.0338 would more likely be seen in a couple of days and rebound towards the upper border of falling price channel on 4-hour chart is expected. Key support is now at 1.0032, a breakdown below this level will confirm that the downtrend from 1.1021 (June 24 high) has resumed, then deeper decline could be seen to 0.9900 zone.

AUDUSD Analysis.

AUDUSD is testing previous high resistance at 0.9326. Minor consolidation would more likely be seen before breaking above this level, and pullback to 0.9200-0.9250 is expected. However, a break above 0.9326 will confirm that the longer term uptrend from 0.7703 (July 13 low) has resumed, then another rise towards 0.9500 could be seen.

Daily Forex Analysis

EURUSD Analysis.

EURUSD’s uptrend from 1.4626 extended to as high as 1.5020. Further rise to test 1.5062 is possible later today. Support is now located at the rising trend line from 1.4626 to 1.4811, as long as the trend line support holds, we’d expect uptrend to continue, however below the trend line support will suggest a minor consolidation is under ways, then pullback to 1.4920-1.4950 is expected to follow.

GBPUSD Analysis.

GBPUSD broke above 1.6741 (Sept 11 high) critical resistance, suggesting that the longer term downtrend from 1.7042 (Aug 5 high) has completed at 1.5708 level already. Further rise is now in favor and next target is to test 1.7042 previous high resistance. Support level is now at 1.6700 followed by 1.6610, as long as these levels hold, uptrend from 1.6262 will continue.

USDCAD Analysis.

USDCAD dropped below 1.0594 support and the fall from 1.0852 extended further to as low as 1.0542 level. Deeper decline to 1.0450-1.0500 area to reach next short term cycle bottom on 4-hour chart is still possible in a couple of days. However, the fall from 1.0852 is more likely correction of uptrend from 1.0206, another rise towards 1.1000 is still possible.

USDJPY Analysis.

USDJPY stays in a trading range between 89.44 and 91.26. Moving sideways in the range is possible later today. Below 89.44 could signal deeper decline towards 88.83 support. On the up side, key resistance is located at 91.26, above this level will suggest that the uptrend from 88.01 has resumed, then another rise towards 94.00 is expected to follow.

USDCHF Analysis.

USDCHF is testing 1.0032 previous low support, break below this level will indicate that the downtrend from 1.1021 (June 24 high) has resumed, then deeper decline could be seen to 0.9900 area. Near term resistance is at falling trend line from 1.0338 to 1.0201, as long as the trend line resistance holds, we’d expect downtrend from 1.0338 to continue.
