Elysium (2013)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Mon, 09 Sep 2013 10:45:00 +0000

Set in the year 2154, where the very wealthy live on a man-made space station while the rest of the population resides on a ruined Earth, a man takes on a mission that could bring equality to the polarized worlds.

Today is Action Saturday. And now I feature you the movie Elysium by Neill Blomkamp starring none other than Matt Damon.

The movie is set to a futuristic time where human race has been divided into two factions. The Earth citizens and the Elysium citizens which are more advanced compared to the citizens of Earth that's has been fallen to anarchy.

The movie focuses in the attempt of the Earth people to penetrate inside the city of Elysium to get healed/treated.

So far, the movies not too shabby, to too great, just right. The plot is somewhat weak, for me...and its quite predictable though.

Effects. The effects are nice, the phase beam, lasers, gun fires and stunts are amazing.

Storyline. The storyline is somewhat so-so, its like that there is something missing but you cannot just get your finger on it.

Overall, the movie is watchable and nice however do not expect too much though, for those who wants to kill time and has nothing much to do, go check out this film.

Jobs (2013)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Mon, 09 Sep 2013 07:47:00 +0000

The story of Steve Jobs' ascension from college dropout into one of the most revered creative entrepreneurs of the 20th century.

From the book of the same title by Matt Whitely, directed by Joshua Michael Stern created a a movie depicting Job's life story in a movie. Steve Jobs as we know him, created the revolutionary apple computers... your iPhone.

The movie is a Biography, much like The Social Network of Mark Zuckerberg, this movie revolves as well in Jobs' struggle to get to the top...and I cannot even believed he was kicked out of his self built company.

Steve Jobs, after watching this movie is really a genius, tacky and a quick thinker, however he is also tyrannical when it comes to work which makes him look ''bad'' to his coworkers.

Overall. The movie is great, worth seeing guy and there's a lot of good lessons to absorb from this.

The Conjuring (2013)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Fri, 23 Aug 2013 11:30:00 +0000

The first Horror movie I'm going to watch this Year. The conjuring, directed by James Wan is said to be "based on true story" for which is, I don't really know if it really is. This movie, even though it is not yet showing in my country, I've already been hearing rumors, side comments and spoilers. I even heard that I'm one cinema here in Manila, after watching the movie, a girl became "possessed" inside the cinema! Hehe...such an effective way of Advertising a movie.

At the first 30 minutes i was like, "Guys, calm down, you're all being exaggerated." But when the Maid scene came out, HOLY SHIT I swear it creeped the shit out me.

Overall. The movie is--wait, Overall already? No plot? Well, anyways, Overall, the movie is HORRIBLE! in a sense it will make you scream, close your eyes, makes your heart pound and makes you go pee.

I must say, that this movie is really excellent, the scare level is amazing, unlike any other horror/thriller movies that gives its scare factor at the start and then slowly degrades as the movie progresses, this one is not, it starts as low, then middle, then kills you with a BANG. Also this movie makes you expect that "Whew, glad the scare is over, but when the moment you let your guard down that is where the movie will scare you the most.

All I can say is, watch the movie, really, you will really love the scare this movie is going to give you and you might get a bonus of hart attack! --nah just kidding!

So tell your friends to watch this movie and get your scare caps on!

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Wed, 21 Aug 2013 12:45:00 +0000

When her mother disappears, Clary Fray learns that she descends from a line of warriors who protect our world from demons. She joins forces with others like her and heads into a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld.

Plot. The movie is based from the novel of the same title written by Cassandra Claire and made into action by Harald Zwart thus creating an amazing portrayal of the book into a movie. The movie features a young girl who can see Shadow Hunters, who, themselves have devoted their existence in battling a war that cannot be won by any but must be fought.

The movie has a lot of twists and really much unpredictable. What I like most in the movie is the fight scenes and of course the magic stuffs. The effects are really good too, and for a moments in the Aviary of the institute, a scene there where the flowers bloomed and fireflies flew, that moment when I'm watching it feels like I'm watching a Disney original movie.

Nonetheless, overall. The movie is A-OK. Not to shabby, although there are some laggy moments, still it doesn't affect the overall score of the movie.

One more thing to suggest in book two. Make the warlock actually "cast" a spell. I think if they put more magic in it, it will be like --you know' much better?

Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters (2013)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Wed, 14 Aug 2013 12:45:00 +0000

Today I'll be reviewing the movie Sea of Monsters directed by Thor Freudenthal.

If you've watched the first title, The Lightning Thief and thought t'was beautiful and great, well then you're right; but if you think the sequel will be the same as the first or even surpass it, you have it all wrong.

Unfortunately unlike the first, the hype for this "mythological stuffs" have disappeared somewhere, and speaking of mythological stuffs, there are only few creatures seen in the entire movie, the manticore like hybrid, the big ass sea monster, the Khalkotauroi and the Cyclops and of course the Titan Kronus but hey, what about the action scenes? All I can say is that the son of Poseidon, Percy didn't utilize his power that much, no water bending stuffs and the swordplay is so cheesy, I didn't even caught up in the movie and come to think I like this kind of stuffs! Greek stuffs! But sad to say this one totally disappointed me.

Cinematography. Overall t'was good. The effects are amusing, quite cheesy but its okay, the creatures are realistic enough, the location and story was okay but the magic! Greek mythology is all about magic and mysticism and I'm wondering why not much of powers are used in the entire film?

Camp Half-blood. When the big robotic bull penetrated the barrier, how come only the students are inside the camp that time? Where is Chiron? Where are the professors? Where are these people so they can show off? And all this Percy swordplay stuff is really growing dull. How I wish there will be an Avatar (no, that that blue creatures, I am referring to the Last Airbender) like battle scene whoa, that will be A-W-E-S-O-M-E and I'm sure that are a lot of people will agree to me with this one.

Overall. The movie was okay, but I have to say, my expectation on this movie was high so when I've finally watched this, damn it was really a let down but then again the movie is watchable, still I am expecting high for the third installment, I bet it'll be great....I hope.

The Wolverine (2013)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Thu, 25 Jul 2013 09:00:00 +0000

The Wolverine directed by James Mangold is I bet the sequel to the movie after the X-men were disbanded. I said "I bet" because I didn't watch the movie before this, plus I'm not much of an x-men guy but I'm starting though!

Plot. Normal. The movie is like a Chinese martial art film plus a mutant that instantly heals its wounds, yes, Wolverine.

I actually like the movie, the movie is packed with nice action scenes, the train scene, the bad ass king-fu battles and ninja warriors.

The plot is quite weak, for me. The story is like saving the princess from the bad guys and the bad guys finally gets the girl and imprison her in the castle and then then the hero comes and there the final confrontation will happen...boss battle.

But the again, since this movie was great...to those die hard wolverine fans, but wolverine is not my type of hero though, but I must say that his battle scenes are all great.

Cinematography. Everything's is great from the lighting, special effects, choice of place. Awesome.

White House Down (2013)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Thu, 18 Jul 2013 11:58:00 +0000

A Capitol Policeman John Cale has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service of protecting President James Sawyer. Not wanting to let down his little girl with the news, he takes her on a tour of the White House, when the complex is overtaken by a heavily armed paramilitary group. Now, with the nation's government falling into chaos and time running out, it's up to Cale to save the president, his daughter, and the country.

Hmm, what more can I say about this movie, --AWESOME! Wow, I never been so at the edge of my seat when watching a movie and definitely, this one made me.

Today is Tuesday movie day and right now, I feature you an action, thriller movie starring Jamie Foxx and Channing Tatum entitled: White House Down.

First impression about this movie: so-so, just another action movie mission impossible-escape to Alcatraz movie type yadda yadda yadda BUT NO, the movie is more than that. First of all, I have to say, the presentation of the movie trailer is really bad; I mean, bad bad. THE MOVIE IS FREAKIN' AWESOME! It is just somewhat dissapointing in some ways because of the trailer bit nonetheless, the movie is an A++ grade.

The Tatum-Foxx combination is great. They blend right in. The story is is rich and original, special effects are hardly seen (what I meant was the obvious social effect effects) which is good!).

During the middle part of the movie (especially in the near climax), I was already at the edge of my seat. I was enthralled by the huge explosions, tactical espionage, tanks, jet planes, hacking, gadgets and government stuffs in the movie that made me all excited.

Of all the action / thriller movie that I've watched, so far, this one, with all confidence I can say is THE BEST.

Pacific Rim (2013)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Fri, 12 Jul 2013 08:30:00 +0000

If you're into big stuff and Gundam, this is the movie for you! Pacific Rim, directed by Guillermo del Torro is a movie that took place in a post-apocalyptic world where human race is being threatened by the Aliens by sending dinosaur sized aliens to do the genocide, BUT will the humans just sit like a duck seeing their race grow extinct? No, so they build this huge, cool looking Robots to exterminate these aliens and there the story of Pacific Rim is made...

Plot. The story is awesome I liked it. Something new in the eyes....oh wait what about Transformers? Hmm I have to say, comparing both movies, this time I'll go with Pacific Rim, MAN! Just look how detailed and realistic the movements of the Jaegers, and the graphics! Its as close to reality! And hey, I'm not downgrading Transformers okay? I just can't help to compare because both features Huge Robots, okay?

Overall. Clap. Clap. Clap. Simply amazing. The movie was great and a must watch. After watching the movie I can't help but to recommend it to my friends.

Monsters University & Despicable Me 2 (2013)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Tue, 09 Jul 2013 03:17:00 +0000

A prequel to the movie, Monster Inc., on a look at the relationship between Mike and Sulley during their early days at the Monsters University where they weren't necessarily best of friends.

Despicable Me 2 is the sequel of the same title where this time, Gru, as an ex villain, recruited by the Anti-Villain League to help deal with a new Super Criminal.

Actually, this is the first time I'm posting 2 movie review in one Post. Well, this will do anyways, plus to save time and I quite forgot some parts of the movies na eh haha.

MONSTERS UNIVERSITY is a such a great film. From the start of the movie, I was blown by the smooth graphics; the story is even better and unfolds the story behind the characters of Monsters Inc. I don't know if there is or not, but is there an Oozma Kappa member seen in the movie Monster Inc.?

When Dean Hardscrabble made an entrance, she automatically became my favorite monster. ^^

Meanwhile in DESPICABLE ME 2, this movie is a nice one, however I have to say, when comparing these 2 movies back-to-back, I have to say, Monsters U has an edge when it comes to the Graphics. Although the minions are cute and funny, that is not enough to make a great movie. Also the story line, in my point of view, I feel like the story is somewhat plain and simple, but the ending has a nice catch (I like the Minion music video)!

Overall, MONSTERS U is A-OK for me, I'd give it a 5 for the Graphics and story while DESPICABLE ME 2, I'd give it a 4 star rating. For me there are some dull moments in the movie and so-so parts. Anyways, these 2 are great movies for the family, a must watch for all.

World War Z (2013)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Tue, 09 Jul 2013 02:40:00 +0000

Today we watched World War Z starred by Brad Pitt. I was really excited to watch this movie because not only that it's a Zombie Film, but also it is made by Max Brooks, author of the book of the same title and the Zombie Survival Guide.

I essentially no doubt, loooove Zombie film, EVER! I'm a huge fan and I've waited like months for this movie; I think t'was March or Feb when I first saw the trailer, I was really moved By it like, YEEAH another Z-film! Man this ones going to be awesome, plus the fact that Brad Pitt is the Bida.

Also, as a fan of Max, first of all, I have to say that this movie and the book he made (i.e. Zombie Survival Guide) totally contradicts. Especially on how the Zombies moves and stuffs, but oh well, I understand him, he made the Zombies more of a super zombie in this version.

For you to understand what I'm talking about, I'll quote you some of his' words from his book:

Then walking dead tend to move at a slouch or limp. Even without injuries or advanced decomposition, their lack of coordination makes for an unsteady stride....
...zombies appear to be incapable of running. Fastest have been observed to move at a rate of barely one step per 1.5 seconds.
The time table below outlines the process of an infected human (give or take several hours, depending on the individual).
1. Hour 1: Pain and discoloration (brown-purple) ofvtje infected area immediate clotting of the wound (provided the infection came from the wound).
2. Hour 5: Fever (99-103 degrees F), chills , slight dementia, vomiting, acute pain in the joints.
3. Hour 8: Numbing of extremities and infected area, increased fever (103-106 degrees F), increased dementia, loss of muscular coordination.
4. Hour 11: Paralysis in the lower body, overall numbness, slowed heart rate.
5. Hour 16: Coma.
6. Hour 20: Heart stoppage. Zero brain activity.
7. Hour 23: Reanimation.

I am not saying that I didn't liked the movie, no. Actually the movie was great. Although I feel that I'm kind of lagged behind, the movie didn't tell how'd the infection came to New York (where Brad and his family lived), just a huge explosion and boom, zombies all over the place.

Overall, well... I don't know but for me, the movie plays from 3.5 to 4 star. But well, Brooks delivered a Z-film in a different way, not the Hollywood Zombie film where zombies are all bloody and decomposed. This one is good, I might have just been used to those mainstream zombie look.

My SPES Buddies

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Tue, 18 Jun 2013 02:23:00 +0000

City Engineering Department SPES 2013

I started working in the City Engineering Department Services of Mandaluyong City hall this 20th of May 2013. At first everything was awkward, actually at first I really don't feel welcome at all.

My stay at the Engineering Office, overall was really great but short lived.

T IMOTHY MARCELINO

The first guy I managed to talk and befriend with. We first met at the Public Employment Services Office. He's nice and really talk a lot. Sometimes I don't get what he's mumbling about, I just nod and say yes sometimes when he's laughing while he's saying something to me, I'm guessing that its a joke, I just laugh.

Tim is a 4th year high school student in Eulogio Reyes Integrated School. When I asked him what course he's going to take in College, he says that he's still undecided about it. So far, he's the oldest in our group.

R ENZO CEREZO

The second guy who is a table away from out desk. At first he's really quiet, mysterious and shy type until his' last day at work, hes gone crazy, loud and carefree.

He's funny, talks about anything but I think he's a little introvert though.

Renz is a freshman at Rizal Technological University taking up Civil Engineering.

JEREMIAH ABIT

The gangster of the group. He always wear a cap, loose shirt that matches his caps. Behind the exterior look, he 's really a sweet guy. he's fun to be with and really polite. He calls me "Kuya" and oh yeah, he's only 15 years old (which I thought he's already in his 18th or 19th year).

At first he never stray near our desk, all the time he's with the girls. Likes talking with then (and maybe flirting with them). Then one time the High Boss, Cris saw them all cramped up together (they are all 7) and asked them to disperse to different sections in the office so he, Michael and Lea came to out desk.

Jeremiah is a 4th year High School at Highway Hills; he said that he is going to take a Maritime Course when he graduates.

L EA NICOLE PARADERO

Nicole, the muse of the group. The blonde girl who is just 15 and as she call herself: Vain. She is a student from Arellano University Plaridel Campus near the Don Bosco in General Kalentong Street.

M ICHAEL

A second year lad studying Accounting in the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. The first sight of him, I knew it, he's familiar.

Mic is a cool guy, nice and talkative, he reminds of me of my High School classmates when he plays song from his mobile phone, most of his songs are Filipino Rap which my Guy classmates often play when the teacher is either late or absent.

JOHNKIEL ABIT

Johnkiel a.k.a. Bam Bam is a quiet guy, mysterious and often spends his time alone in a cubicle either sleeping of doing nothing but he's nice nonetheless.

Bam is 19 years old which his' face reveals that he's only 15 and yes, Bam and Jeremiah are related, they're cousins.

He is an Information Technology student from a school I forgot to ask. He really likes to change the topic when the spotlight turns on him.

K IMBERLY VIRI TOBIAS

A friend of Edgen. She's really nice and simple. Studious in first sight. She appears to be quiet and well reserved. She's the one in charge of the phone call for the Head Engineer, Boss Cris so she seldom come to our desk.

CARLO

Carlo, Carlo, Carlo. He's quite a mystery to me, we never got a chance to talk one-on-one. Well, I think that's it, prolly because he is always busy with work.

Like Jeremiah, they both share the same personality however in Carlo he is more of a witty, cool and confident type (I'm not saying that Jeremiah is not).

ED GEN PASTRANA

Edgen and I graduated from the same High School. At first I don't know if should I just snob him or what. He and I are clubmates from an school organization I handle, Interact Club.

Man of Steel (2013)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Tue, 18 Jun 2013 02:04:00 +0000

Today I've we watched the man of steel this 13th of June.

Outstanding, that's what I can say. All the wait for this sequel has finally paid off. The graphics are all excellent, no cheesy green screen effects, fully loaded with breath taking fighting scenes and of course...Henry Cavill.

In this installment of Superman, I have observed that Lois Lane is no longer "the girl that always gets in trouble then superman helps her", bit instead, she became --well sort of normal type of woman.

Also, I've seen that this version of Man of Steel they didn't use his' weakness stone, the Kryptonite which is good, they've avoided the mainstream for once.

Superman sure evolved a lot, from the 1980s to the 2013 version. Everything is refined and perfected.

The verdict.
I have watched all the Superman movies and I am confident to say that this is the best performance of Superman yet.

The MEN OF STEEL

Graphics, sounds, lightings, special effects, fighting scenes. Awesome Sauce. Hats off to them. I even got goosebumps while watching the whole show.

Also...am I the only one around here asking: "Where's the red underwear?" Oh well, at least in this version he managed to wear his underwear the right and in humanly way ha ha ha!

The cape. Not even scratch touched his cape, man, I think his cape is impervious to anything, even Captain America's shield will be useless.

Also, NO CURLS. This time, the man of steel didn't curl his hair --well just imagine that the guy below curled his hair......STILL FUCKIN HOT!

"I just think he's kinda hot" -Captain
(click me)

After Earth (2013)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Sat, 15 Jun 2013 23:30:00 +0000

Today is "After Earth" day but first let's take a sip of coffee from Bo's Coffee

7:45pm. We've watched After Earth by M. Night Shyamalan, from the director of my favorite movie 3 Idiots starring Will Smith and Jaden Smith.

Mmmmeah.
That's what I can say about the movie, but well, my score for this will be 3 stars, maybe because Man of Steel was so good, I was expecting my next movie to be watched to be equal (or much better) to it.

But then again, I have to say, the graphics were somewhat convincing but the sky dive and the falls part blew it all away.

The plot.
The story was uh.. I don't know, kind of vague to me. For me the sequence of the story is:

Kitai is training to be a ranger.
He failed to become one and so when his dad came, his dad became furious.
His dad realized hes being hard on his son and decided to take him to a trip.
Unfortunately they've hit an asteroid storm and theen---
They landed to Earth.

Still I have mo idea what was that big underwater bomb like prison thingy. Why is it in their plane at the first place? Where are they headed? With call their advanced technology, they've failed to calculate a storm signal?

Also whats with the ghost warrior evolution?

Goose bumps part.
The part where Kitai begins to freeze to death then the bird saved him ---then the bird died :'(
I'm sort of teary eyed back then, good thing all the people were focused on watching the movie haha.

The Verdict.
Overall, I'll give a 2 star rating. The movie never failed to amuse me nonetheless, this movie is recommended for the family but if you're looking for some more action, adventure and less cheesy graphics I suggest you go find other movie to watch.

Fire at Bulalakaw Street

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Sun, 09 Jun 2013 21:30:00 +0000

Aling Hermy's House

"SUNOG! SUNOG! SUNOG! BUMABA NA KAYO!" said my Kuya in an outrageous tone.

I was awakened by my mom saying that there's a fire. I was alarmed, my Kuya kept on shouting and shouting to go down and leave the house so I immediately went down...and of all the things I can bring with me...I brought only my Tab. Fascinating.

Everyone was in a stage of paranoia, they're all in panic not knowing what to do, people running everywhere, t'was really a chaotic moment. People crying hysterically on the street gutter but me, I just in front of the burning house, staring at the fire, like I give fuck about it. Weird that I'm really trying to feel something out of it; like fear, awe, but no instead I was just there, standing in front of the house.

10 June 2013

1:27 am A leak from an LPG Tank caused a fire to break out in out neighbor's house. I can see the house burn right in front of me.

1:41 am the fire is now under controlled. The fire form the roof is no longer seen yet clouds of smoke still envelops the whole area, the smell of burnt wood and electrical wiring also lingers.

3:24 am Everything calmed down, people bystanding at the street, gossiping about someone got fully burned and died inside the house and a guy suffocated in his room that spelled his death --man, chismis nga naman. Actually, there was really no casualty, I don't even know where'd those people got the idea! Pinoy nga naman.

Here's the ember I'm talking
about (photo taken on out roof).

3:42 am (now typing this blog). As I said earlier, the fire is "under controlled" but still when I looked at the roof of our neighbor there still some embers left (and now its getting larger...CRAP! ITS GETTING BIGGER AND THERE'S BLACK SMOKE COMING OUT TOO!).

5:07 am The sun is starting to make its appearance. This time they are sure that the fire will no longer come back. Neither smoke nor signs of ember can be seen I guess this is it. I can now rest (at last!).

HYDRO PUMP! (I was inside my kuya's house when this
truck is hydro pumping the ceiling)

First, I am really disappointed on how the events turned out --I mean when they said that the fire is under control na and yet it broke out again. But then again, still, first I'm thankful to the, because without them , no doubt our house will turn into dust. Second, I feel sorry for them for lots of people yelled, talked harsh to them, even scolded them "for doing this", or "not doing that".

**UPDATE**

12 June 2013

So far the guy is doing good, he is at the hospital resting and healing.

Police says that the cause of fire was the stove that wasn't properly turned off leaving it open the whole night, the tenant decided to cook himself a snack, opened the stove and BAM, explosion grande. But oh well, like I said earlier, he's doing fine.

Cristian's Summer (Adventure(?))

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Thu, 06 Jun 2013 03:21:00 +0000

It must have been almost 5 months since that tragic incident occurred...nah who am I kidding I'm talking about my last post!

A lot of stuff happened to me for the last 5- months (based on Facebook; honestly I can no longer recall what happened so I hafta check my Timeline :P)

Para kay B Ricky Lee

Its been a while since I've finished reading this book and tell you what, It was A-W-E-S-O-M-E! (for me a t least, medyo mababa kaligayahan ko hahaha!). The book contain stories of 5 people where 4 characters fail in their love story and only one triumphs like the subtitle says: Para kay B (o kung paano dinevastate ng pag-ibig ang 4 out of 5 sa atin).

I never actually thought that I'd like it 'cause I don't really read novels but after turning the cover and read the first sentence in Irene's story: Sa loob ng coffee shop, habang hawak ang menu, nakaharap si Irene sa mga kabarkadang sina Brenda (payat na pero nagpapapayat pa baka tuluyan nang magdissapear), at Susan (laging nakagiti parang walang problema sa mundo). --the way the author described Brenda is like funny to me and left me with the impression that this is going to be a good read, so I continued only to find out that the book is both funny and sooo relating.

The book is light to read, not too serious, not to heavy just right and it'll leave you either grinning or at the edge of your chair laughing. Next book that I'll be reading will be Si Amapola sa 65 na Kabanata.

A Late Summer Job

I GOT A SUMMER JOB YEAH! It all started with a phone call, this 21st of May, evening. A my tita's friend, Ms. Cristine called bearing the news that she has an available slot for the Special Program E.. D.. (I forgot what E and D stands for hehe) aaaand she is inviting me to join.

I said yes.

22 May 2013

Application for the SPED thingy.

I was wearing something orange --a polo shirt I only wore thrice (that was the second time), I looked good but the sun is raging, the sky is clear, the wind is stale. I'm already sweaty when I arrived at the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), I was a disaster. --and speaking of disaster, my Internet connection is a disaster, while typing this post I'm downloading a 11MB file, a song by Zed, Clarity and the ETA is 35mins and when it reached 95% the connection broke and started again and now I have to wait another 35 minutes for it to finish...AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!

The whole day I was outside, running around on a hot afternoon. I went to the Brgy. Hall twice only to be attended by the staff saying the Captain wasn't there --and oh yeah, I was there because I need my SPES-8 form to be signed by him and UNFORTUNATELY he wasn't in his office 3 days straight so imagine how pissed I am (but this is another story).

After twiddling at the barangay hall I went to my school, PUP to have my grades signed by the College Dean (people from PESO needed my grades signed so that it'll be considered as true and correct...I think they know I can use photoshop O.o). T'was a breeze, just waited a few minutes then BAM, signed. I went back at the PESO and gave it to Ms. Cristine and my day ended as I went home.

23 May 2013

First day at Work.

Ms. Cristine advised me to wear something white, with collar...a polo shirt, slacks and black shoes. What I wore was my old high school like college uniform in the 1st year. I looked.... its unexplainable.

I also met some dudes during my stay, at first I'm only with Timothy, I call him Tim 'cause his name is too long to pronounce and Renzo, which I call Renz. They're good, funny and easy to be with, Renz is an incoming college student from Rizal Technological University taking up Civil Engineering and Tim is an incoming high school Senior at Eulogio Reyes Integrated School.

Work was fine --I guess, we did very little work. I'm my mind I was actually expecting a fully loaded work like a real employee in that department --oh wait WE'RE LIKE THEM! Actually there is really no work happening in the office. No people coming in, no work. In short we are just sitting there, conversing, talking about stuffs, watching people play solitaire, candy crush, angry birds, Mystery P.I., Diner Dash and more.

24 May 2013

I'm already getting a hang of things (DUH!).

Today we're only on half day because the staffs in the office are going on vacation at Laguna. This is the first time they're all jumpy and enthusiastic about something AND ITS NOT EVEN THE LAST HOUR OF WORK! (Oh yes, they all become vigorous when the clock strikes at 4). I DID IT! Um uh I meant the Wifi did it. As I'm really excited to open the file and when I opened the file, it was a remix and worst part is, the remixer butchered the whole song...imagine waiting 35 minutes just to be able to complete a file download and get a wrong file. I feel I want to kill someone right now.

06 June 2013
Our last day of work. :(

It's been a while, a lot of things happened for a short amount of time. I got to like the people I'm working with actually! They're actually and funny especially the ones that are older than us. I managed to perfect my typewriting skills too and knew how to differentiate and the order of recording (at first I'm only handling one document at a time) the documents I'm handling; now I'm handling them all with ease!

I managed to befriend with the other employees there, they're harmless, they just intimidated me at first but when i managed to get to know them more and got to like the work I'm doing, I don't know if I should be saying this but I never like to leave the office na..ha ha ha!

I also managed to befriends with the other SPES employees and I really liked them!

In the end, we managed to get along together, chat in Facebook and exchange texts via mobile even though we're no longer together as SPES employees; well, it s like they say, alls well and ends well.

***
The Verdict.
T'was all good. Actually, I have to say that I've leaned stuffs from these experiences. The burning feeling from the inside to work even though your shift is done, to be excited to see your friendly co-workers and lastly to get paid for it...naaaaahh! Just kidding, but really, I really liked being with them sadly it all has to end.

So after this, school naman and it'll be on 17th of June, wish me luck about my studies!

2012: In Review

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Mon, 31 Dec 2012 02:46:00 +0000

Today is the last day of the Year 2012, December 31. Right now, people are busy doing their stuffs, going to the market to but ingredients to the food they'll be serving later onw and shopping for gifts etc.

At the market, countless people walks around buying round fruits, it's like The Walking Dead actually. Series of honking from horn sellers, explosion from firecrackers and honking of the cars made my ear deaf --take note it is just 10: 00 am here.

The total opposite can be observed in in our street. It's like...Semana Santa in our street right now, it's so quiet, only handful of people can be seen and the houses are like abandoned. ---great.

Here we go again, as a new year will pass us again, it is time that transform ourselves into a new person; let us not forget our past for it helped us to be here, right now that shaped us into whatever what are we now, now.

Now that we are now Welcoming a New Year, 2013. I'd really like to thank ALL the people who made my 2012 great --no FABULOUS! There may be bad times, good times, shitty times but whatever times I had, it had been a really...really great year for me. And now, looking back this year --all I can say it is just like parang kahapon lang 'to!

2012. Year 2012. You are indeed a very remarkable year. For me, year 2012 is really special for a LOT of stuff happened to me, memories, happenings and crazy stuffs I never thought I did!

So here we have it folks, just like my previous blog post: Welcome year 2012, I'll be doing a the same post entitled: Cristian 2012: In Review.

1. HRSelect Incorporated

My first On the Job Experience (OJT) was in this Company, HRSelect this November 24, 2012 to February 13, 2012 and my real work with pay was this February 27, 2012 to June 17, 2012. Thanks to this company, I've been able to make the My PSP Game List post --yes, I used the money I earned to buy myself a PSP!

And of course, the invaluable experiences I had with my Bosses who taught me how office work is really is; making phone calls, sourcing for applicants, creating job post, reviewing resumes, interviewing applicants, organizing people and such..really, a lot to experience to say in this company.

2. REAL-ationship?

Remember the last post I made about having a relationship? Well Guess what, I do have made a relationship with someone this year too! We broke up eventually, as if all my relationships are always seemed to be ...limited. I mean, why always One month, one month? Yes, I made to acquaintances with two different person this year and hell it is. You know how it feels being left in mid air no? (haha...I'm trying to be emo) But nonetheless, I am happy and I am really thankful for they came (ooh came...) into my life, really! No hard feelings.

3. Bulking up on Muscles

This year, I decided to build up muscles so I am now working out to get buff, thanks to my gym bud who I no longer see now (I wonder what happened to him?) who encouraged me to work out. Why? Well, I wanted to actually look good and fit in my clothes, they're all saggy and now after long tremendous times at the gym --they're all muscle fit to me! HA! ..nah just kidding, those clothes are all gone now. I threw them away but nonetheless, I am working really hard to get that body type I want.

4. The Adventure

Most important of all, is the adventure I had with my friends. All throughout this year, pareparehong mukha nakikita ko! Nakaksawa na! Hahaha...joke lang!

For 3 years you've been here with me, blockmates and even friends from different places.

All I can say is that I'm very thankful to have all of you with me.

Once again, have a Blessed Happy New Year Guys!

Sinister (2012)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Sun, 23 Dec 2012 13:13:00 +0000

Sinister (2012) directed by Scott Derrickson is a Thrilling horror mystery movie (with a pinch of cult-y demon part) about Ellison Oswalt, a book writer who moved in a house where horrific events happened prior their arrival.

Sinister, from the word itself. At I was skeptical on how will this movie scares the shit out of me, the beginning of the movie was vague, never even knew he was a writer --I thought he's a detective of some sort but anyways, the movie. The movie itself is outstanding, never fails to shock me at the right moment. The sound effects even made he movie scarier.

Overall, I must say that I liked it. Made me scream a little in me seat (more like moan.....I guess), the story is nice, although some part are cliché, still I'd give this a 4 start rating. Also the movie is fast paced --for me, I quite find the movie to rather end quickly than expected and still left me hungry for more.

Well, I've got nothing much to say anyways except WATCH IT. Watch this movie in either in a theater or much better with your earphone in a dark room, that way you'll literally jump out of your seat haha.

My PSP game List

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Sat, 15 Dec 2012 10:01:00 +0000

Hey guys! What's up, have you seen my Top 10 Playstation One Games yet? Well now, I'm going to give you my Top 10+ PSP games. They are arranged in no order so feel free to rate it if you want.

DISSIDIA DUODECIM O12 FINAL FANTASY

The very first game in my portable console. I am an avid fan of the FF series and this game gave me goosebumps when I first played. Memories coming back again.

Nonetheless, the game is great! The graphics, the sounds, the characters the fighting style etc. are all great. 2 thumbs up. Actually the graphics is what I'm highlighting here guys. Take a look.

PARASITE EVE: THE 3RD BIRTHDAY

Despite the ugly name for a game..."The 3rd Birthday" PE: 3rd Birthday really shine above when it comes to the gamestyle and outstanding graphics. Although with a short storyline (which I managed to finish the game within -24 hours. The game realyl is short BUT I'd tell you, you're gonna play it over and over again.

METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACEWALKER

I've never liked shooting games actually but since the graphics are great, I gave MGS a try and it did not dissapoint me. In fact I actualyl liked it but then... this game is much much better if played with someone else via CO-OP for lots of goodies and stuffs come when you link with someone else.

Overall, great graphics, nice story (if you followed the prequels), and great gameplay. Most of the time you'll be like a stealth ninja more that a soldier for you might want not to be spotted by the enemies LOL.

GUNGNIR

Gungnir is a turn based strategy game by Atlus that is quite simillar to Ogre Tactics BUT with a slightly better graphics and gameplay. Gungnir features a wavering war between the rebels and their oppressor (much like light vs. dark; good vs. evil etc.). The story is...quite predictable for most turn based strategy out there are themed to fight the bad guys and win the princess.

However, Gungnir, for me is quite too fast for me to play. The story is quite short so I finished the game earlier than expected. But then again, if you're a fan of turn based strategy game. Give Gungnir a try, you will not be dissapointed.

HATSUNE MIKU: PROJECT DIVA 2

This game --reminds a lot of o2 Jam. For those who likes music. Try Project Diva 2. Its a great game, really challenging and gets harder and harder the longer you play it. However, there seems to be no full english game up to date. I only have a copy that is partially patched with english. Still, a great game even though I do not understand what I'm clicking haha!

GRAND THEFT AUTO: LIBERTY STORIES

The 9th installment in the GTA series, a prequel to the GTA III is now made available in the PSP! GTA: Liberty Stories ---well I clearly I have no idea what this game is all about but I like it. Killing civillians, attending missions, killing people etc. For me this is what GTA is all about. But none the less unlike GTA: Vice City this game is waay better (especially when you activated the cheat haha).

GODS EATER: BURST

This game doesn't wore me out. I like attending the same mission over and over again to get the materials you need in order to boost your character's strength. This game has now "Level-Up" but instead, in order for you to be stronger you have to fight the "Gods" for you to get their Items which is made to create a more powerful weapon at your disposal.

Gods Eater: Burst is a fighting style game, wherein you fight hordes of monsters to help save mankind from its inevitable destruction. The graphics are nice, gameplay is somewhat cluttered, quite confusing at first but soon you'll be able to adapt to it. For some this game might be frustrating to them for they have to fight the same monster over and over again.

LITTLE BIG PLANET

LBP is a game wherein you play the role of Sackboy, much like Dora the Explorer, exploring the world. For me the the game is quite childish but then again I quite enjoy it but never played it again after I replaced it with another game.

The graphics are okay, gameplay is okay (which uses brain power to solve puzzles) and what i like most in this game is the BGM. Happy tunes makes me jumpy.

If you are more on a action type player, I'd say stay away from this game.

VALKYRIA CHRONICLES 2

At first, this game is like Metal Gear Solid so get a copy of the game and played it but no, this is a turn based strategy game. Many gameplay concepts in Valkyria Chronicles II are carried over from the original. The BLiTZ system is used during combat scenarios, splitting the action between an overhead Command Mode and third-person Action Mode, which is quite new to me for a turn based strategy game. The graphics are more like anime style, hand drawn pictures more and the conversations are like in a graphic novel but the gameplay is interactive (you don't say?).

I never played this game too long so i deleted it but there is a still a chance of me playing this game...in time when i wanted to :)

KINGDOM HEARTS: BIRTH BY SLEEP

Developed by Square Enix and Disney, character from both developers combined in this one game. KH:BS is a great game for those who like mashed up game and/or looking for action-roleplaying-adventure game with great graphics, great gameplay and great storyline.

Like most RPG games, this game is about Light vs. Dark and saving the world from Destruction. You take the role of either Aqua, Ventus or Terra which have different story from each other so you have to finish the game using all of them. Quite a trick right? Each character meets up with different NPCs and friends.

TEKKEN 6

First of all, I've never like arcade type games which can be seen in an arcade. But my curiousity exceeds me that is why I'm still playing this game until now --and I liked it. Just like in the arcade, the same rule follows, the commands are still the same.

The reason I doubt playing this game is that you have to memorize the commands and stuf in order to land a killing blow to the enemy but actually once you get to know the codes, you'll get hooked to it. Big time!

The graphics are great, sounds, stage and oh, there is also an edit mode where you can change the look of your favorite character.

Nega side -- the only thing I never liked in this game is the Arcade mode battling the Bonus Round (the huge Robot) and the Monster Azazel. I'd say it is much better to fight normal character than those oversized monsters.

MANHUNT 2: UNCENSORED

The latest game I have in my console. I LOVE THIS GAME the brutality, gore, blood. Everywhere. The game is quite scary for the sounds and random people will begin to shout/talk. I must say, the game is really gore-y. There are a lot of weapons in the game that can be used and each of them has 3 levels of execution (if you sneak at their back).

Overall, the graphics are well.. not that okay but enjoyable, its like playing Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for the constant flickering of the screen. The game is quite dark you have to have stick you PSP close to you wherein ..is quite annoying when a cut seen is played, I get surprised and end up throwing my PSP away...good thing I'm playing it in bed.

So guys, did I missed anything? Anything you'd to share? Just leave your responses at the comment section below.

Gayby (2012)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Fri, 14 Dec 2012 12:36:00 +0000

Jenn (straight) and Matt (gay) are best friends from college who are now in their thirties. Single by choice, they decide to fulfill a youthful promise to have a child together... the old fashioned way. -IMDB

Gayby is a comedy-drama movie where 2 best friends from college reached their 30s of age and now decides to have their very own baby --a gayby! Written and directed by Jonathan Lisecki, starring Jennifer Harris as Jenn, a straight woman and Matthew Wilkas as Matt, a gay guy and a bestfriend for Jenn since college.

The story revolves itself on the baby making actually, where series of dates and some stuffs are seen while looking for both of their "Mr. Right".

I must say, the actors were great, the dialogues are witty and really humorous and the actors really appeals to the audiences. Just hearing people talk gay-like is really entertaining (no pun intended).

Just a strike in my head, the director himself was in the movie too! (I just realized when I saw the cast list). Jonathan Lisecki and Jack Ferver really played an awesome support role. Loved it.

Anyhows. Overall, the movie is endearing, really enjoyable. Although now quite suitable for all ages for the make out scenes all through out the movie. Still, the movie is great.

Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (2012)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Tue, 11 Dec 2012 15:13:00 +0000

First of all, I am a 9gagger so as you can see, I can;t even believe that I am making a review about Twilight, it has never really in my interest to watch this movie for what I've seen in 9gag (although I am not blaming the Gags in the site and I don't even know why there are a lot of Twilight hate posts in there...), I really don't want to watch this movie but, since our professor in World Literature told us to watch this movie for this is included in our Mid Term Examination (yep, he meant what he said, he must be a Twi-hard).

As the movie begins, I start to think that this is going to be a loooong movie, but as the movie progresses, I am but dazzled by the movie --I never thought I'll be enjoying it! Really! I actually liked their special abilities like the one who inflicts Pain and the guy who is like an Avatar for his ability to control the elements, those people really moved me at the edge of my seat.

Anyways, I can only review what I only saw. No, I haven't watched the preceding titles so there you have it.

At the start, I notice their (The Cullen) houses; the location is more like very remote for a house to have electricity right? ...Overall, I like 'em. Hmm...why don't we review the characters huh? Yeah, I think that'd be great.

First off, Jane, played by Dakota Fanning IS A BADASS VAMPIRE I tell you. Whoa, just wow. She's like Kira Hudson on the movie Push, she looks at you and then --BAM! You're dead. I just like how she just stare at people and pleasures in their pain. Superbly, Jane is my Favorite character in the Twilight Saga.

Second is Aro. I don't know guys but Aro, whenever I saw him --made me think of Count von Count from Muppets haha! Seriously. But heck, I liked his ability anyways, if I could use his power in this time, I'd be like always Ace-ing the exams! How? for I'd be able to see the test questions made by professors, dummy! HAHA!

Third is..oh Benjamin. Who could have forget Benjamin, he's like an Avatar in Vampire form! Egyptian Vampire Form! --well...he's kinda cute too you know? (ladies, control your orgasms please). Ah yes, what I like most about Benjamin is on how he ripped the earth. Just plain awesome.

Overall, a big 5 star. Yeap! I really like the super abilities and stuffs. Sometime soon, then, I'd be able to review the whole Saga ;)

First Love

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Sun, 09 Dec 2012 06:16:00 +0000

Sometimes you think you've gotten over a person, but when you see him smile you suddenly realize you're just pretending you're over him to ease the pain of knowing that he will never be yours. ~anonymous

It has been a week since I was left astray --alone in limbo. Ever since in my Youth, I can always hear people saying "First love, never Dies". I have never understand to the meaning of it...until now.

It was foolish of me to let someone...someone worth more than my life go away. I pushed that person away from me. I was furious --enraged in anger and darkness succumbed my thinking and I was lost in it.

For almost one month. Every time we meet each other, I am to be dazzled by just a sight if this person. Staring at me at a moment then smiles, greeting me hello; and we go to different place I have never visited yet. We both started to share our thoughts of the future together, as one. As a forever-mate.

But things...unfortunately has to meet their ends. As I said earlier, I fell. I fell. I fell...and now broken. I was left alone, suspended in midair, cold. I have said bad and harsh things that I wished I never had. I have hurt you, not only emotionally, but physically. I should have thought of your well-being first. I was arrogant that time. I really never meant what I have said, I was clouded with ill thoughts, all I wanted was assurance, yes, assurance of security, that you still love me and only me, and yet I saw you with your "pinsan" sitting on a stone tiled floor, drinking together, and there was me, staring to the both of you. The thought of you and this guy irritated me, and there, was I...began to think irrationally, like you're already dating someone beside me for I haven't messaging nor updating you of my current situation. Honestly, I felt betrayed that time, I felt useless and alas, I wanted revenge. But no, for I couldn't. I am not that kind of person. I have loved you. Fully, fully that I gave up everything and willing to give up this...this thing you and I both share.

What you have just witnessed, was the other side of me. Probably you are already hesitant or worse, refused to see me once more for you've just seen the part of me which is wicked, a tyrant.

I just don't want the feeling of being neglected, being taken for granted even though for some I felt uneased and depressed but I have to endure it alone for I don't want you to worry about it. I have never told you the struggles I have faced for you have your own and I never want to add more pressure to it. We both have problems, we both do, we all do. Do you think I'm just a happy-go-lucky kind of guy? Well most, if not all, person knew me as that kind of person. But I am not.

Probably, our relationship is already beyond repair, you've never replied any of my messages on phone, facebook and email. I have given you a really bad lasting impression after we fought. Sorry is all I can say. Sorry for being so naive, sorry for the unrequited love, sorry for being this stubborn. Right now, I wanted to feel you. I wanted to see you, I wanted to clear the gap between us.

You are still here--in my heart for you are my first love after all. I could never forget the memories we had shared. The times we spent together, the butterflies you gave me and the electric shock you've injected into me.

THANK YOU FOR THE ADVENTURE.

I hope you'll find someone better than me --someone who can satisfy you more; and I hope we manage to cross again.

I love you asawaq.

The Secret (2007)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Fri, 27 Jan 2012 03:05:00 +0000

Firstly, when I checked the movie at IMDB. I was intrigued by the Genre “Fantasy” for what I’ve watched this was just your typical Love Story movie so what gives? Let me start from the beginning. This movie The Secret, Original Story by Jay Chou is Chinese Classical Music themed movie with a Twist! That’ right, twist. And after watching the whole movie, I was like: " ... "

The Movie is indeed a marvel (to me) for I am a fan of Classical music. Jay Chou, the director of the movie and the main cast is indeed really talented to come up with such plot. Even though the entrance of the movie was like...not that appealing much. As the movie progresses I kind of get a hang of it. Some cheesy scenes with face poking, hugging and staring in the eyes really get into me.

The story is nice, Cinematography check and the Music is a cut above all, the combination of effective Filming and the film's original music is really moving, and preexisting pieces are well-chosen which indulge your innocent romantic mood.

What really entices me in this movie is the revelation in the end and also the which gives me a big question mark in the end --what have just happened? The movie indeed a Secret. In which I really feel bad for Lu Xiao Yu for being treated like that. Sadly all things have to end prematurely, I even have no idea of what actually happened next to Ye Xiang Lun and his' Dad and will Ye Xiang Lun be trapped in the past then? I wonder what'll happen in the future then? Whatever then. I just think a lot. But Overall. Even though with some controversial gaps and holes (I think) the movie is still watchable. Actually I liked it.

If only Lu Xiao Yu can only see Ye Xiang Lun, how come she managed to talk to both Qing Li and the Janitor Guy?

I'm confused in the ending photo, just who are those 2 being focused in the picture? Lu Xiao Yu and Ye Xiang Lun? It looks like that they are not those person don't you think?

What more I like in this movie is Alice Tzeng. She is like, just simply beautiful and stunning. How dare Jay Chou dump her?! Nyahaha ='>

A Lucid Nightmare

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Wed, 04 Jan 2012 03:39:00 +0000

A Lucid Dream is any dream in which one is aware that one is dreaming...

4th of January around 1-3 in the morning I just had my First Lucid Nightmare, Lucid Dreaming + Nightmare. At first, just thinking of the whole scenario was really terrifying and scary, the whole place was set on pre-dawn time and all the street lamps are lit and sky was dark blue-ish with some swirly cloud figures and such, it's kind of cartooned sorta.... At first I didn't know I was dreaming so just follow everything.

It was in the middle of the night when I got awoken by some sound coming from the back of my door so I stood up and checked it. As I opened the door I saw someone, by describing the figure I'd go to Bellatrix Lestrange of Harry Potter, you see, she was crazy and she is trying to grab me so I hurriedly closed the door leaving her trapped behind, at first I thought she was an "Akyat Bahay Syndicate" but for some reason the door started to deteriorate and there was black stuff/liquid coming out of the door much like an acid melting the door slowly so I opened it again and I managed to escaped and left our house. Also leaving her behind and strangely, she didn't follow me. She also didn't resist or grab me when I went past through her. I never looked back thinking that there was nothing expensive inside the house.

I finally got out of my room. It's really cold outside, empty streets and great silence covered the whole street until I saw someone in front of our neighbor's house. (Just in front of our house I saw him coming out of his' house too) He's a guy whom I not know but I talked him anyway (This time I'm picking up a sense that I am having a Dream but still I haven't realized it yet).

I greeted the guy, and we chattered but the catch is I really do not know him but his face is rather familiar, and yet I really think that I've known him somewhere and we were like best buddies! Anyhow, like I said, we talked and talked and talked and I was about to ask him to sleep with him cause I'm really tired and I wanna wake up (I'm thinking that time that If I am to sleep again, I'm going to wake up from this dream) but when I'm about to ask him that for some reason I just fled and ran away...jogging style (Weird stuff, I just fled away from him without saying a word goodbye or saying Hey! Got to go! and so I ran away and that time I'm having a bad vibe that sleeping like that will make things worse). So I jogged from our street to another and I do not know why I stopped but I saw a Dog with metal cuff and tied on a wall. I stopped for some time observing the Dog and after I grew tired watching that Dog I ran again. I ran and ran and ran until I've reached my house again. (The Dog in my dream, I really find it fascinating, although there was nothing special about it, It made me look at it for sometime as if it was my first time looking at a Dog tied on a wall, and come to think that the Dog never noticed me. Also, maybe I found that Dog Fascinating because the whole place was deserted no cars, no people, just empty streets with street lamps and a Dog Tied on the Wall.)

So I went inside the garage, walked a little and just as I am going to take a step on the stairs, a man appeared out of nowhere and began to speak to me saying:

"To return back up again you need to get to your 'Body' quickly!"

At first I was puzzled when he said "...get to your body" (I mean, get back to my body? I have my body right here! Duh!) but afterwards I realized and I'm sure of it, I am hell dreaming and it is Lucid and its an OBE! And then after he said that I felt more scared than ever! Its like Life and Death is at stake, and if I'm not to get back before the sun rises I'm gone. So I hurried back and then I flew...I FLEW! HELL YEAH! *ehem* where was I, yes, when I reached my room I was like this ghostly figure now, ethereal type I managed to get through walls and stuff and flew back but I do not see myself sleeping so I went back to ask where is my body to that kindly man who told me to seek my body but a thought came into me instead saying:

"Break the roof, pry it open and you shall see yourself unprotected."

And yes I did destroyed the roof and it's like a split second when a thought came again and this time it was different, it says:

"From here, you can either continue your dream and do whatever you want or you can now go back to your body...your choice."

At first I was tempted to play more, I want to do things I've never done before. Do crazy stuffs and create things and I was like, come on! This is my first time having this kind of experience and I am to get back to the real world ASAP? but then still I went to my body and when we both touched each other...I panted and my face is all sweaty I stood and said I'M BACK! And actually it happened twice, one in my dream and two when I finally woke up.

As I checked everything again, yes I am awake and weird and did some reality check, and odd thing, my fan is tuned off for some reason.

After that I slept again and finally the sun is up. First thing I did when I woke up was to review everything and every details, events etc. All details are clear and vivid and as I source out some information regarding this kind of stuff, I realized that I just had an Out of Body Experience. When I left my physical body, I never looked back. Everything happened so fast and a surge of fear began to creep through me especially when I saw that creepy woman and when the door started to melt it was crazy...real crazy experience, I think much worse than Zombie trying to eat me.

The Guy I saw, like I said earlier is kind of familiar to me. He is slightly buffed, wearing a plain white Tee and a pair of Jeans. We greeted and hugged each other but honestly I do not know him, in name to be precise. (I do not know I met him personally or I met in over the net, not sure though but I have my guess). And as I read in some blog about Lucid Dreams, most likely that person who you saw in your dream probably dreaming the same stuff too. So I might ask those people whom I think inside my head that time.

Lastly, the guy who gave me a tip on how to get back to my body. I don't know if he is my cousin or the ghost that is said to reside and guard our staircase. He was glowing white, wearing I think a Barong Tagalog and speaking in an echo-ey sound just like in the movies, for added effects. He was nice, and much like of an Oracle to me, and then after that I flew up, but I barely felt anything. As if it was just a normal thing, no excitement, no...nothing just the feeling of being scared of what is going to happen next, I felt scared even more and my heart was pounding fast.

Alas, I made it back. I said "I'M BACK!" twice. One in my dream and second when I got woke up from it. As I woke up I made some reality check, I peered outside the window and everything was pitch black, no lights and my fan was turned off and it turned to 0. As if someone turned it off on purpose, weird stuff. I just sighed and got back to sleep again.

Immortals (2011)

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Fri, 30 Dec 2011 03:11:00 +0000

Before watching the Immortals I was like expecting some magical stuff especially in the trailer I saw the Gods interfere with mankind and I was like: "Bring on the Thunder Baby!" But then the movie surprised me and the Man Skirt really a fad those days! Hahaha!

I am really a fan of Greek Story stuffs that's why I watch every one of them (I hate reading it especially when there is no pictures). Since I've watched Clash of the Titans, I can't help to think in this movie, where ARE the Immortals? or Where are the Titans? Should it be...you know, Huge and Freaky?

The movie is nice and compelling and I really loved the fighting scenes. I can't even imagine how they managed to pull those stunts and come to think of it the scene somehow resembles of 300. But then again it was brilliantly executed.

Hell Yeah! sv_clienttrace 9999 BABY!

I all loved the character's acting. They all looked like "in" the movie and come to think to portray someone mythical and something like that would be demanding huh? Any hows, Freida Pinto is Gorgeous mysterious type and Henry Cavill..another reason for me to watch Greek Stuffs, man, he is totally jacked! Wearing half nothing with man skirt and an awesome physique I wonder what will I look when I live in Greeky Times Hmm...

I SAID NO MORE TWILIGHT!!! WHY ARE YOU BOTH HERE?!?!

Just an observation, I always thought that these guys are Bella and Edward from the Twilight Saga and Poseidon was Jacob. Whoa, maybe this is my calling to watch Twilight now huh? ACK!

Table Football anyone?

Bottom line, the movie is excellent. I can't explain much in words but the movie is solid, but it you are expecting more magic, more monsters etc. ion this movie you'd better wait for the next installation for the only mythical creature you are gonna see is the Masked Minotaur and still, I am having my doubt whether is that thing a Minotaur of not. Oh yeah the Titans too which reminds me of the Nova Shadow in Kingdom Hearts. The Immortals, with a little laggy moment, it really had a nice epic feeling and the effects and cuts really is a marvel and I really appreciate this movie because of that.

Another thing, I just can't help but to get mad on the Gods, I mean, they are sooo WEAK! Why there is no Lightning Bolt? And Athena, she is the Goddess of Warfare and yet she is to be slain by a level 1 Titan? Unacceptable. They'd better fix that, and I kind of feel bad for those Gods who were killed.

What to do during the Night?

Many people have been asking me: "Hey bitch can I get you number? ........." Oh shit wrong question hahaha! Anyways, today we are going to talk about the importance of having a Nightly Regime. Actually why?

Have a good night sleep man!

Unlike in my previous posts regarding Daily Facial Regime which can be read here, here and here; I want this one to be brief and concise as much as possible. So what is the importance? You see, having a Daily Facial Regimen is not enough...for Daily Facial wash only works in daytime duh! No really, Not all products you use are effective in 25 hour basis, some only works in daytime and some works best on night time where aggression is minimal.

During the day our skin is exposed to dirt, pollution, smoke and piercing eyes so it is best to use everything you got to look good and in the night time where obviously you go to sleep (except for those who works on night shift). During the night, where you sleep your skin naturally heals itself, rejuvenates for younger looking but due to our psychopathic bosses, dustiness in the air, persistent smoke getting in your face, your skin will be clogged, dry and worse, will be a good target for acne breakout.Your skin will be like: "Ugh, I'm tired to heal you buddy! I'm going to rest I'm tired! Zzzzzz..." and so when you wake up BOOM! You will like, OMG!

To avoid that you've gotta have an effective night time regime which of course what we're going to tackle.

1. Choose a nice product to clean your face. Either Foam or Scrub. For me, I use L'Oreal Men Expert Pure & Matte Facial Scrub during the Day and Before going to sleep I use Nivea for Men Oil Control. Choose a gentler facial Foam/Scrub than your day to day wash.

2. Exfoliate. You can if you want, but again choose that best works during sleep probably one that contains Alha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) which helps you look whiter and exfoliates dead skin cells thus again helps your skin to heal faster. I do use St. Ives Apricot Scrub.

3. Apply some (night) Cream or Liquid Gel on to your face before sleeping. Use Cream for dry, rough Skin; use Liquid Gel for Oily Skin type. I do suggest to use Liquid type than cream if you do not know what your Skin type is like. I use Watsons Men Intensive Recovery Liquid. And so far so good, I do wake up kind of Oily but once you washed the oil away you will be like: "Wow, it worked!" And it'll make your skin smoother and pores tighter. I just don't know how it works though.

4. Tone up man! Optional, you may either use a toner/astringent or Cream/Liquid to your face before going to sleep. Never use them both. ...no I do not use Toner but I do suggest if you want to use an alcohol free toner first like Neutrogena Alcohol free toner but it'll leave your face filmy after use.

Optionals: Other than taking good care of your skin, it is best to clean everything before retiring and cal it a day. Here I'll share you some of my nightly habit.

1. Use Hand Cream. Who wants a rough rugged hands when you can have an average, kind of smooth hands for a man? You know how women love to hold their guy's hand and do you want to disappoint her by making them feel that she's holding a bark of wood? Of course not! The use a Hand cream! Hand Cream is different from body lotion, obviously. Hand Creams are quite expensive and they look small but don't be discouraged. Choose a hand cream that contains Macadamia Oil which is known for its amazing moisturizing and sealing property making you drop whatever you hold on your hand. Hahaha just joking.

2. Use a Moisturizer Stick. Who says Lip Moisturizers are for girls only? Not anymore! It is important for a guy to have a nice soft lips, like Nivea for Men Active Care's tagline: 'For Lips that loves to talk, smile and kiss." If you want to talk alot, smile and Kiss, then use Nivea for Men Active Care!

3. How about Body Wash? Guys? Honestly, most use whatever there is lying on the Shower Counter. sliding off the Soap all over the body then rinse and when the scent of the soap covered your body your fine. Not really. Again, read the label, read books! Choosing the right body bar, Body Wash/Gel is not much of an issue to most guys but those who experiences chalky skin, scaly texture and uneven skin tone, your soap is all to blame. There are a lot of cheap Body Wash out there why not try one? I know Watsons Range products are good for starters before jumping to more expensive brands. And preferably, I choose soap that has no scent than scented ones, I mean, would you like to smell like a Flower Vase or a Lemon House Spray in front of your friends?

4. Wash your Mouth. "Brushing your teeth is not enough..." -an ad made by Colgate. Yeah so true, are you waking up with in the morning with that stench going on your mouth? Bad Breath is one of the most problem of girls whenever they are having a make out with their guy and trust me on this, you do not want to go make out with someone with that mouth. Use a mouthwash! You can either use Listerine or Colgate Plax. Listerine is known for its Antibacterial property that kills odor causing germs in your mouth while Colgate Plax is known for preventing tooth decay and prevents future oral problems. Your call.
