The Peace that Colombia deserves has many powerful enemies, as we pointed out in the previous topic. The main one of them, the United States, who would have no justification, to maintain presence and influence, in South America.

Politics "good neighbor", through the Agency for International Development (USAID), should be withdrawn from all agreements "collaboration" so that Colombia "regain control of the state in conflict zones".

Because it is the "world's leading power of the drug ". DEA for such a great "collaboration" must necessarily have thousands of agents, investigators, intelligence analysts, and informants in Colombia.

The "fight against terrorism", through the other "classic power estates" such as the National Security Agency (NSA), Department of Defense (PENTAGONO ) , must necessarily conclude .

The collapse of Haiti, the displacement of its inhabitants to the Dominican side could result in the balkanization of the Caribbean, hurting all America

The island of Santo Domingo or Hispaniola, after Cuba, is the largest island in the Caribbean and the most populated, shared by 2 countries of different culture, religion and language, which have fought against each other for the possession of the same. A similar situation, to the one that occurred in the former Yugoslavia.

Haiti, is the first black republic of the world, after defeating the troops of Napoleon Bonaparte. They’re proud of their race and origin.

The Dominicans love and defend their land against all foreign threats. In Hispaniola was the first rebellion of the natives , led by Cacique Enriquillo (1519) , and the first rebellion of Afro-descendant slaves, led by Sebastián Lemba (1532).

They successfully confronted the English expedition (1655) and defeated the French (1808) , to return to the Spanish Empire, after having been ceded by the latter.

They gain independence by dislodging the Spaniards (1822), to once again throw the Spaniards out of their territory (18 65), and avoid annexation to the United States (1871). Years later, they become the only country in the world , which faces 3 interventions from the United States: 1904, 1916-1924 and 1965.

With Haiti it has always been a constant battle since when they were a French colony. They entered the territory with the genocide of Neiba in 1797 , and "degüello de Moca" in 1805. Defeating its expansionist pretensions in several bloody battles from 1844 to 1855.

In 1994 the fear of Haiti resurfaced with the candidacy of José Francisco Peña Gómez, Dominican son of Haitians, which was confronted by personalities , such as Consuelo Despradel, Leopoldo Espaillat Nanita and Fuerza Nacional Progresista (FNP) led by Marino Vinicio Castillo (Vincho), which has turned "nationalism" as a flag and distinctive sign. With the death of Peña Gómez in 1998, these misgivings were momentarily forgotten.

With the rise of Danilo Medina to the Presidency (2012), the Dominicans "discovered" they have been invaded by their Haitian neighbors, in a gradual and gradual manner, from the moment in which Leonel Fernández (1996) , and Hipólito Mejía (2000) ) were permissive towards these, due to acquired commitments with the international "progressive sectors" to unify the island into a "binational state".

The Venezuelan "caucus"

Since 1878, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has been an oil producer. Between 1929 and 1950, it was the largest exporter in the world market. In 1960 the Republic promoted the Organization of Petroleum Producing Countries (OPEC), to maintain its leadership in the sector and protect its interests.

The Venezuelan oil industry has generated billions of dollars, which boosted the country's urban development during the administrations General Marcos Pérez Jiménez (1952-1958), Carlos Andrés Pérez (1974-1979), Rafael Caldera (1969- 1974, 1994-1999).

However, much of these riches were squandered on corruption, with the abuses of transnational oil companies, clandestine extraction of fuels, concessions for bribery, and entrenched mafias with the euphemism of meritocracy, in Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA).

This brought the emergence of a minor, but powerful oligarchy, together with prosperous indviduals of the middle class, composed of professionals, technicians and skilled workers, who lend their knowledge to the oil industry. As well as, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian immigrants, who took advantage of the oil boom of the "Saudi Venezuela", installing small and large industries, stores, etc. Classes that imposed their own rules of the game, to the detriment of the immense majority of the poor. This oligarchy, together with this middle class, has nothing to envy to its peers, the great industrialized countries, for its high level of education and purchasing power.

This class, treat their illnesses, vacation, and do university studies in the United States, being Florida its favorite place, for the climate and proximity. However, from 1999, with the rise of Hugo Chávez Frías to the Presidency, with his discourse of redemption, in favor of impoverished majorities, causes that those sectors opted to permanently reside in the United States. It transformed into a Massive process as of 2003, as a result of the dismissal of the leadership and workers of PDVSA, following the coup attempt and the 2002 oil strike, to force the fall of President Chávez.

A reflection of two groupings of hispanics in the USA.

The viewers that follow both platforms are of different social and economic groups, which provides a glimpse regarding the electoral results in Florida.

The USA has two grand old dames in the hispanic network TV market; Univision and Telemundo who both are based in Miami.

Quick fact check;

Univision: Founded in 1955 in San Antonio, Texas, previously called Spanish International Network (SIN), this was then the first TV network in the USA to broadcast in a language other than english. Texas’s loss was Florida’s gain.

Univision was originally very inclusive regarding all hispanics, they frowned upon regionalisms, implementing a neutrally accented Spanish format that would be accepted by all of the latino market. This gave way to hispanics from all corners finding themselves under its diversity accepting umbrella.

Key alliances were shrewdly executed with Venevisión (Venezuela) and Televisa (Mexico).

Thereafter being rated fourth after CBS, ABC, et al in the USA.

The collapse of Univision.

As of 2006, a decision was made to focus almost exclusively on the Mexican American Market and Mexican talent. This naturally led to a purge of other talent that was considered marginal and markets deemed peripheral or inferior. Those purged were famed Charitin Goico, Carlos Alfredo, Cristina Saralegui, Nancy Alvarez and Don Francisco, all near legends among latino TV audiences. The elimination of this impressive line-up was followed unsurprisingly by a fall in sponsors and sadly mass layoffs.

A fearsome blow to the prestige and personal honor of Dominicans worldwide has taken place.

The act that has caused this is the horrendous and bloody murder of 15 year old Dominican-American, Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz by 8 young violent thugs, stunningly also of Dominican descent. This shocking murder took place on June 20, 2017 at 11:37 at night.

A murder that took place in the Bronx.

A Specter Has Fallen Upon the Dominican Community in the USA

In NYC, Boston, Newark and Miami where the largest Dominican diaspora reside, heads hang low and hearts are heavy with a collective sadness&shame, since the murderers were of our own kith and kin (now disowned).

Dominicans mostly known for baseball, sultry merengue music, great rum and cigars, (very good cigars) are now notorious for a savage spate of violence within their community and at large.

Dominicans known as well as hard workers, business and family oriented have now had that positive image of their community shattered.

Local South Florida Dominican community leader Leonel Peña described this event as; “a despicable thing that has caused the community to become mournful, this savage act done by fellow citizens”.

As usual events like these means that the violence has finally spiraled out of control and is now evident for all to see.

This now adds to the ever growing hostile climate regarding unprecedented migration that is increasingly taking place all over the Western World in general and the USA in particular, where now the Trump administration is stubbornly trying to impose order where there previously was none.

The quasi socialist regime of Barak Obama for 8 years granted large amounts of visas to Dominican nationals and now many cities on the east coast host a large Dominican diaspora for good or ill.

Small towns and villages on the island are now nearly empty of their former inhabitants since many of them have relocated to the USA, many to the Bronx in particular, (where rents are low and crime thrives, many live 5 to a one bedroom apartment at times), sadder still for the fact that many of these communities existed on the island for more than half a millennia and are now gone, never to return.

This large scale immigration does not allow the new arrivals to properly assimilate and creates alternate communities, this is something that is inherently unstable and unsustainable as the vile murder of Junior attests, since his murderers don’t even speak English correlating this as the same problem Europe has with it’s own out of control migration. Obama (like Merkel’s) induction of thousands of migrants was multiculturalism and open borders run amok. Plus it strips the native country of citizens, a land of it’s people, a human resource that could contribute to that country in the future.

The Great Gentrification

A ferocious onslaught against the poor, be they African American, Hispanics (recent immigrants or otherwise), low income whites and the whole rainbow gamut of other minorities. A serious attack is taking place against them due to the white hot frenzied real estate market.

This is occurring in mostly coastal cities, where home prices are experiencing radical increases.

This is forcing the aforementioned groups in general to flee the large cities, the long forgotten inner city of the great metropolises in particular, where if you were poor and tough you could find refuge and live a hard scrabble life. These areas are now highly coveted as trendy by middle class youth tired of the safe suburban life that their parents strived to give them.

However while they are leaving the suburbs and attempting to be “gangsta" and live in the city, they have brought the suburbs with them.

These middle to higher income (we will not use the word, “class”) individuals will not tolerate a true urban setting with the sights, sounds and smells of “da life”.

Cities are being converted into one big Ikea in some instances, where the new urban chic can work and play. All the while poorer longer term residents are being shown the door.

Crane after crane rise like giants and leave shiny new magical looking quasi-skyscrapers in their wake. If your lucky and you actually owned real estate in the area some of that magic might ‘ve found it’s way into your bank account. If not you may sadly want to google the location of your nearest homeless shelter or pack up your things and move far away.

This Great Gentrification is done under duress, high price and fee hikes, rezoning techniques on the part of lobbyists and developers against the current tenants that are by and large minorities in the lower income zones of Miami aims to dislodge anyone who plans to resist the gentrification. In pre Castro Cuba, there existed a powerful social class, that was college educated and culturally sophisticated, they made a fortune from industry, agriculture and sugar. They were business partners with the state of Fulgencio Batista President of Cuba, who was on his end partnered with elements of the american mafia who had settled in Cuba and made it grander and more dazzling than even Las Vegas or Atlantic City at one point, due to the casinos and nightclubs.

Their existed nouveau riche oligarchs, alongside the scions of the Spanish conquistadors and more recent arrivals during the 19th century colonial period (some Cubans still hold extant titles of nobility), these all lived in Cuba with a white conservative Cubanized european upper class and a mixed Afromestizo underclass (who later fully embraced communism) also wishing to get a larger piece of the pie.

This society, this lost world reached it’s apogee and ferment in the 1950’s. According to many there was no place more fabulous than the Cuba of the 1950’s, since the music, movies and literature that came out of Havana were all hits and are mostly all still classics of a lost golden age, notwithstanding many social disadvantages extant at that time. This Lost World met it’s end on January 1st, 1959, at the hands of the so called Revolution headed by Fidel Castro Ruz. Some would call that, this.. uprising, a great social cataclysm that compelled the aforementioned upperclass to withdraw to other shores to seek out how to make their comeback with regards to what was considered at that time a temporary aberration of a communist upstart in Havana.

One of the places that the Cubans who withdrew went to was South Florida, namely a small town called Miami. The people who arrived in this first unwitting wave were the highly trained Doctors, lawyers, accountants, university professors, nurses, government bureaucrats and a smorgasbord of entrepreneurs that settled in the small city to plan their return. This group came to be called El Exilio Historico, they left in 1959 and became the backbone, the foundation of the Cuban Exile community in Miami and the USA.

There are other large branches of the Exile community: New York, New Jersey, New Orleans, Tampa as well as the ones in Europe. Here we’ll focus on the Miami Cubans who are the most cohesive and powerful of them all. One Group of Exiles to rule them all. Miami was a good place to pack up to because many Cubans had millions of dollars in South Florida banks ready to go and Miami was only 100 miles away from Cuba. A perfect springboard to launch a counter attack from. Thanks to their money, social savviness, intellectual capital and above all support from a White House that was eager to shape this mass of men, many who had military experience due to having been part of the Cuban Armed Forces into a Cold War fighting machine.

The CIA stepped in right away and used the swamps and other remote South Florida locations to train the Exiles in military tactics and espionage. These cold warriors traveled far and wide, their exploits becoming legendary. These hardy men would later on be an integral part of Miami politics. One thing we have to take into account was the unity that the early Cuban arrivals displayed. Their ferocious unity was their bond and triumph. They would always and forever have each others back. While they would and did fight amongst themselves (sometimes with deadly force), they considered one another to be brothers and family.

To cross one was to cross them all to your peril since a fajazon (fight) or a sal pa’ fuera o piquete (rumble) would form. Their sons and daughters would intermarry and a solid Cuban America would emerge in Miami. So many Cubans gathered on SW 8th street that the area became known as Little Havana! So due to all these elements, similar to Tony Montana, a fictional Cuban, the actual Miami Cubans alongside their Tampa cousins, achieved economic power, then naturally political influence in the State of Florida, Miami in particular which to be truthful was lightly populated, surrounded by jungles, mangroves and underutilized beaches, tourism was like now a huge draw at that juncture but due to the Cuban presence Miami became a larger more cosmopolitan, heavily populated, global city, later on to be called the Capital of the Americas.

The Miami Cubans brought in their mores and style to the town (can anyone say Cuban-time?) The Senate seats, congressmen, mayorships, committees, councils and bureaucracies, sheriff and police departments came to be filled and dominated by Cubans and their children. Radio stations, TV channels and print media was set up by and catered mostly to them. Alvarez Guedes and Celia Cruz were heard on the airwaves. This dominance of the media was recognized by the Federal Government and RadioMarti was established to broadcast directly to Cuba to open up another front against Castro. The Miami Cubans vs the Island Cubans, the war was on, by sea, land and on the airwaves, the personal vendetta between the Diaz Balarts and the Castro’s is a legendary example of this.

The Cubans dominated the construction industry, since so many kept arriving they became a force to be reckoned with and founded the Latin Builders Association, LBA as a lobbying association. The Related Group is another outfit headed by a Cuban, his name is Jorge Perez also known as the Cuban Donald Trump, Related does Real Estate and Development, the changing skyline of Miami owes much to this Cuban Donald Trump. It was something very common to hear in the talk radio shows of the 80’s in Miami, “transmitiendo para todos los Cubanos de Miami”. “Transmitting to all the Cubans of Miami”.

What about the Nicaraguans, Colombians, Dominicans, Puerto Ricans and other Hispanics that inhabited the area? The Radio station even stated that it’s official name was, LA CUBANISIMA. The hell with everybody else. The Cubans were in charge and it was exemplified in it’s grandest and most larger than life figure Jorge Mas Canosa. This man was the founder of an exile organization called the Cuban American National Foundation, CANF. He was a favorite of Ronald Reagan who doted on him due to the votes and money Mas Canosa could deliver and above all his charm. Mas Canosa was awarded government contracts and high level contacts with the Federal Government, further cementing his peoples power in Miami.

It was not a good idea to cross him since he would take affronts that he considered unfair very personally. Once challenging a detractor to a duel and on another occasion starting a personal war with local newspaper the Miami Herald, when he said: “Yo no creo en el Herald”-“I don’t believe in the Herald”, which subsequently lost readers due to his words. Mas had that much influence. Mr. Mas, passed away but his CANF lives on and his sons, among them Jorge Mas Santos has founded a company called MASTEC to provide infrastructure, engineering and high tech services, it’s listed on the NY stock exchange as well. Republican presidents George Bush to Donald Trump are highly attuned to the Miami Cubans due to the votes and campaign donations they can provide, votes and cash.

Oh yeah baby.

The Clinton’s wanted the Cuban vote and made a slight dent among some of the young but they and Obama were seen as too Commie for the the conservative exile communities taste, so they were dead in the water, tits up as far as they were concerned. The Cuban Democratic avatar Alex Penelas went down like the Titanic after the Elian Gonzalez affair and with him any real hope of Democrats making larger inroads in the Exile Community. Obama also committed a huge offense, a sin by terminating something called Wet Foot/Dry Foot which we shall expound upon shortly.

This writer witnessed the joyous crowds of Cubans mostly at the unofficial political gathering place for the Miami Cuban exile community, Versailles restaurant on historic Calle Ocho in SW Miami. There the patrons of the business waved Cuban and American flags, they emotionally embraced while also clutching signs of the TRUMP PENCE ticket around. President elect Donald Trump subsequently returned the favor of this faithful voting block and shut down the burgeoning relations between Cuba and the USA that had been initiated by Trumps predecessor, Obama. The Exile community has held sway in an undisputed manner for years.

Yet slowly this is beginning to change. The most significant step in this writers opinion was Obama deciding to do away with the Wet Foot/Dry foot policy set up by ex-president Bill Clinton. This rule allowed any Cuban that put even one pinky toe on USA soil to be open for admission into the country as political refugees, essentially no questions asked and social assistance and aid, a work permit, permanent resident card then citizenship to be provided in a short period of time, almost VIP service. The other group of migrants in Miami were not amused, others demurred if ya can’t beat ‘em join ‘em and promptly attempted to marry a Cuban to be able to obtain the prize of U.S. citizenship. Since Obama decreed that Wet Foot/Dry Foot is no longer in place, the huge masses of Cubans that used to arrive on the shores of South Florida has dwindled. A great Marielito and Balsero massive Cuban migrant arrival will not happen like before causing the prior social upheaval seen in Miami.

It’s also perhaps a vindictive measure on the hands of Democrats since they saw that Cubans continued voting Republican even after being in the USA and most attempts by Democrats to lull them over to their side failed. So despite the Cubans massive size currently 1.7 million strong, they might find that their predominance inexorably is being chipped away at. The challengers have been many: When the Cubans arrived they formed alliances with the traditional White Southerners who had come during the frontier days fighting against the indians and Northern transplants that had migrated later to Miami after World War 2, they allowed the White Americans to join them, yet remained highly distinct. The African Americans who had been in Miami for generations were emerging as a political force due to the Civil Rights era and were poised to push for even greater social gains, like in Baltimore and Detroit.

Yet the sudden arrival of the Cubans blunted the power of their boycotts and protests since the White Miami power structure could hire Cubans for a lower price and still discriminate against blacks, since Cubans would return to their neighborhoods and were too busy making money and they thought above all they were going to back Cuba anyway so they weren’t concerned about Civil Rights at that current time, so the African American challenge was also overcome. The two communities lived mostly with their backs to one another.

The African Americans feeling that the Cubans had cheated them of their new opportunities after decades in their struggle and the Cubans feeling confirmed in their God given right of their causes superiority, since they felt they were an immigrant community that worked hard to get to where they were at and didn’t really need to share anything since they also believed their struggle against Godless communism was more special. Yet they paid a price latter when they snubbed Mandela which somewhat ended their open disdain of the AA community that ironically decades later set up a boycott and that hurt Miami now controlled by Cubans who then offered a heartfelt apology. Things have balanced out with the Exilio still holding the better part of any bargain, but more respect exists.

Their have been prior attempts by other migrant communities to intrude into this lair of Cubanismo. The Colombians reared their head in the 1980’s and challenged the Cuban mafia with regard to the Drug running business, that in one way or another had been in existence for some time. The legendary conflict was messy and nasty, yet the Cubans with their government contacts, media connections and allies in the police made short work of the boys from South America and millions were made, MILLIONS by the Cubans. The Mexicans tried it in the 1990’s yet they made little headway since the Cubans were at the height of their power and influence.

The penetration was checked because since Cubans are all legal migrants, (political refugees in fact) and exceedingly well positioned they will not tolerate the large illegal Mexican influence that will hurt their jobs and standing in the community. Mexico is also a semi-commie country that has always backed Castro and that was also not going to fly with the conservative Exile Community, no way Pepe. So if Mexicans became too numerous it would also give the Democrats a voting block that would challenge the Republican stronghold in South Florida. Nevertheless many Mexicans did come to Miami and entered the social fabric of the city, they are numerous in the southern areas of the county yet despite being heavily represented in Telenovelas and other broadcast mediums, they’re impact is nowhere near as big as Cubans. Mexicans can have L.A., Miami for now is still proudly Cuban.

There is a strong Nicaraguan community, a sizable Puerto Rican and Dominican community but none with the sheer power of the Cuban Community, aside from the Venezuelans who we will discuss below. Another thing that has hurt Cubans in holding sway, is time. Yes, many of their most militant and vociferous members are slowly dying of advanced age. The typical member of el Exilio Historico is 80! Gone are the days when Cubans would flood Biscayne Blvd and stop traffic because they were offended because Veronica Castro from Mexico went to sing in Fidel Castro’s Cuba. Or a spontaneous protest would form because a Pro-Castro Music group would fly in to perform, like when Los Van Van came to Miami and the Cuban Community rocked the town to a standstill. Or if they sensed any normalization with Castro’s Cuba was imminent.

The abuelitos would vote, call the radio shows and bend the will of the politicos. To go against them meant your doom. The “viejito generation” which I myself am sorry to see go was the center of a gloriously passionate and unbridled Exile community who took no prisoners and kicked butt. Excesses occurred such as veritable terrorist bombings of opponents cars and other types of aggression that would Al-Qaeda gasp took place. Emilio Emilian a Cuban radio broadcaster had his legs blown off in one of those moments of excess. Groups like Brigada 2506 most definitely not a terrorist group that fought with bravery and honor on the shores of their homeland against the liberal extremist terrorist Fidel Castro have a beautiful memorial dedicated to them on the aforementioned Calle 8.

This glorious group of freedom fighters might as per rumors have had for example some members go astray and carry out attacks. Yet members of this same group could quote the most beautiful poetry of the time of Cervantes, intone a spanish guitar or make a mean cuban coffee, good fathers, brothers and friends. So with their passing many of their children's zeal in being hardcore anti-Communists is just not as hardcore, the fire no longer burns as bright. Yet it still burns and that torch is being carried by many in the new generation. The struggle keeps the community focused and united. Culturally the Cuban influence is also strong. They still dominate the talk radio stations and the Cuban Spanish accent even among non-Cubans is still the prestige or default accent amongst many that have grown up around Cubans or in Miami.

However the reasons why Cubans face a new challenge to their undisputed titles as masters of the destiny of South Florida are many. Amongst them: The large and near never ending refugee crisis from poor Venezuela.

The Venezuelan community started as a trickle and in many ways was similar to the Cuban pattern, now becoming a flood. A group of citizens from that country arrived temporarily and then established a beachhead. This beached was composed of millionaires, also with a college educated vanguard ready to invest and reach the American Dream. In this quest they have established The City of Doral as their local stronghold much like the City of Miami and Hialeah are there for the Cubans. The Venezuelans due to their negative and quite unhealthy experience with Socialism might not be very conducive to voting Democrat and thereby also challenging the hold Cubans have with the Republicans, this is evidenced by Senator Marco Rubio who has emerged as their champion with regards to giving them a voice at the federal level against the authoritarian liberal Maduro regime in Venezuela.

This is artful play since Rubio as a Cuban still keeps it in the familia and co-opts the ever growing Venezuelan vote. The Venezuelans have set up TV shows, businesses and other enterprises that givean them power, now they are poised to seize political influence. So while not at parity the Venezuelans could pose either a formidable threat the Cubans in the future or one of their greatest allies. While not as great and not as influential, Hurricane Maria has recently brought in many Puerto Rican migrants.

The Puerto Ricans also called Boricuas are possible Democrats and that could perhaps diminish the Exiles strength at the voting booth, this remains to be seen though, since Puerto Ricans have never reached the potential Cubans have. The final reason that might erode Cuban influence is the building boom in Miami. This has brought about a new heavy migration, not one from any single group but of people from all over the world and domestically from within the USA. This new vast group will swamp Miami in every conceivable way. These include Europeans from France, Belgium and Spain. White non-Hispanics from northern states seeking the South Florida lifestyle.

Also many latin americans have been reaching Miami and they are in some way resentful Cubans have achieved what they have not and could combine with the aforementioned groups to challenge the Exile community, since these individuals will also wish access the government bureaucracies, set up businesses and participate in all facets of local life if they feel the Exile community is in their way. So once again while the Cuban Exile community is no longer as omnipotent as before, they are still a force to be reckoned with and the current generation will not give up power and influence easily, nor should they have to since much of what is Miami today is due to them and their forefathers. However a newer Miami is being built bit by bit by new players, David Beckham among them. These new actors will not be beholden to the old and will instead tread a new path. I don’t see a confrontation likely since everyone wants to get rich in this New Miami and right now their is plenty of money going around.

The Cuban community doesn’t need to fear ceding some of it’s monopoly of power. Evidence of this is Marco Rubio who is sharing it with the Venezuelan community who will most likely be the second largest community in Miami with true economic, cultural and political power. If the economy hits a wall any reaction is possible of course, yet at the time of this writing said economy is on fire. However. What could likely happen is that with time a merging of the many communities into something new will appear. There will always be a Cuban community and they will probably be the leaders. .

Yet the phenomenon of the Exilio Historico with it’s iron will and near stoic determination will have passed. Their children and grandchildren are now firmly in control, Xavier Suarez was the first Cuban Mayor of Miami, his son Francis is now the current Mayor of Miami, a true passing of the guard. So with this in mind will they, the heirs of the exiles, be able to hold on to it? They are in strong position to take on any challenger. We’ll have to wait and see how it all turns out since Miami is approaching a new age. The investments, expansions and new arrivals are changing all the rules.

Dead areas of the city are now coming back to life. Crime filled areas are safe to walk through by everyone. Blight and eyesore are being eradicated. A new train called Brightline has been unveiled.

The city and county are now more liberal and more open. Definitely a change in the once conservative stronghold.

As Bob Dylan said: “Times they are a changing” and echoing that cuban singer Willy Chirino himself sang: “Ya viene llegando”. So if you ever meet an old time Miami resident who used to listen to AM Spanish language radio, feel free to test their knowledge and throw them the quote from the great Cuban actor, Rosendo Rosell: “Oye, te quiero y me quedo corto. Pero si me quedo corto pa’ que te quiero?"

Professional sports are the new battleground regarding the simmering culture war in the USA.

The old establishment is assembling all of it’s available assets to combat POTUS Donald Trump and the new conservative movement he heads and now with what are they proceeding? Why with what else? Professional Sports, friends!!

First it was the singular and unreal “protest act” carried out by various players at the beginning of the season for the NFL, in September 2017, these defiantly knelt while the National Anthem of the United States was being proudly played and the fans humbly stood in deference to their flag and then in shock observed this bizarre and unnecessary behavior by the players who alleged the official excuse as being the “mistreatment by police of African Americans”. Instead of respecting their fans, who paid good money to see them PLAY, these athletes decided to hijack what many hoped would be a time of unity to then spread their so called leftwing activism.

This was not the place and time to carry out these actions. These million dollar athletes decided to spit on the symbol of freedom to ironically protest for freedom.

Why? Because in spite of the fact that their act is covered by freedom of speech laws. Their freedom of expression is not what’s at stake. What is at stake is respect for the paying fans and their values. The players are employees getting paid to play sports, not activists. However we will further cover this below. Roger Goodell, the Commissioner for the NFL, gave cover to the “protests”, by stating that Donald Trump was the one being disrespectful in the face of this behavior by the players.

POTUS Trump had called out these players. He saw them for what they were, pseudo leftwing agitators. He challenged the owners to put a stop to this. He felt the pulse of public, of that silent moderate majority who stood in opposition to the owners and wanted athletes who played the game and not fake leftwing agitators spoiling the mood. Roger Goodell and his lot were showing that the establishment was providing aid and comfort to this fake “uprising” from over privileged and overpaid players.

Yet the POTUS was gearing up for the fight and his comments in rallies across the country reflected that. The establishment for it’s part attempting to demonstrate it’s bona fides as members of the neoliberal globalist elite, went ahead and double downed, so in a show of so-called solidarity these protests were then extended to the Women’s Football League and the Women’s NBA, now both genders were in on it (oops, sorry the lefties want a genderless society) both HUMANS were in on it, better (not really)? Later on in October, these protests take place again, this time forcing VP Pence to leave the field, this was a calculated shot across the bow against the recently elected administration, if we recall their was no honeymoon period. Yet VP Pence’s silently graceful and measured noble action continued to set the pace with regards to the government’s response to the fake uprising.

Patriotic fans everywhere took note concerning what had to be done, ticket sales and attendance began to decrease, impacting them, the owners where it hurt them the most. They the owners began to lose money, initial signs of panic setting in. The hits just kept on coming, so the war was on like Donkey Kong. The bizarre protests continued spreading like a disease with the behavior of Jose Altuve, a baseball player with the Houston Astros, when that team was welcomed to the White House, this happened upon obtaining the title for the World Series in March of this year. Altuve’s face was full of irrational rage and seething bile against the POTUS, why? Who knows, who can read the mind of a man with the face of a maniac? This person was invited to attend a very important event at the White House, celebrating his team’s well earned victory, yet instead displayed disdain and obvious contempt for the host, the POTUS, while trying to send some type of crap message. Very disrespectful and poor show on Altuve’s part, yet the lefties jump up and down applauding like monkeys at the sight of such uncivil behavior, calling it then right and proper. Closing with a bow, there were also the silly doubts expressed by Stephen Curry, of the Golden State Warriors with regards to if he would or would not show up at the White House if his team became champs (they did win).

This nonsense, which resulted in the rightful withdrawal of any invitation as a result of the statement also coming from King James, that NONE of the teams who were disputing the championship would be present at the reception. The White House swiftly counter attacked and as we said withdrew the offer, which is a great shame in and of itself due to the actions of these immature children in adult form, the fans once again were the ones slapped in the face, since it would’ve been a great honor to share the moment with the nation’s commander in chief, burying their own individual interests and demonstrating that they indeed put unity and the country first, instead they continued to foster division. All of these shenanigans are simply another chapter in the continuous tit for tat between POTUS Trump and the old establishment or the culture war, as we will now continue to explain: Professional Sports is just another business. One thing though is amateur sports and quite another is professional sports. The first is in the hands of the state by way of an Olympic Committee or Sports Council, whichever may be the case, their writ and mandate is to provide recreation and grant incentives towards the playing of sports and related activities. While the second one is in the hands of businessmen, these set up teams, leagues and championships with the purpose of making a profit, nothing wrong with that. This profit seeking in the world of pro sports translates into ticket sales, t-shirts, souvenirs, advertising contracts, franchising, commercials in the stadiums, transmission rights, even the pimping out of the players whom are used for promotional products or causes and then can even be traded for million dollar amounts to other teams.

Pro-Sports are an industry that generates hundreds of millions of dollars for all involved, jobs direct and indirect. It’s relative importance is not in doubt, it’s portrayed as the source of entertainment for the everyman, who are usually quite patriotic, yet politically moderate with whom the owners are way out of touch. The owners therefore try to gain some legitimacy by jumping on the authoritarian lefts bandwagon, yet by doing so they hurt their relationship with moderate middle america who by and large are their customers. In the case of the USA in order to regulate the operations of these big business enterprises, there have been commissioners established who are mere bureaucrats or managers elected by the owners of the business.

Each professional player, be they football, basketball, baseball, etc are not considered athletes or sportsmen, they are legally considered to be an EMPLOYEE, a worker. As mere employee’s, they must follow the orders and dictats of their employers, these have set the rules and conditions, which can be many. So the sports professional must follow them with regards to; Advertising, goods and services (the owner of the team gets his cut, of course), medication, food that can or cannot be consumed publicly, broadcasters with whom he can or not appear with and logically what he can or cannot utter at any given time and standards of behavior. We reiterate: A pro-athlete is an EMPLOYEE, merchandise.

He or she is a managed good, to be disposed of as wished by the owner. So what do you do when your employer asks you to do something? You do it. With regards to the fake uprising, qui bono? The establishment uses the pro-sports for their own ends and if necessary will weaponize it as such if possible. However the majority of the American people are opposed to the elites of the Establishment using their game for their pseudo progressive methods. Some of the protestors indeed do have noble ideals and their is a concern due to some element of police brutality out there, that one would have to be blind to say that they do not take place. However neo-marxist movements like Black Lives Matter are simply pseudo left wing agitators that are all part of the same group that wishes to impose the authoritarian liberal model upon Americans that exists in Venezuela, Cuba and parts of Asia, however noble they may appear these groups longterm goals are the disruption and destruction of the current, heavily under siege classical democratic order. Ironically the owners of the teams allow and in many cases compel their players, once again their employees to proceed with the pseudo uprising to decry the feelings of oppression they claim they experience.

However this is all an attack on POTUS Trump and the MAGA movement that is developing all over the country. We the writers of this article ask what kind of oppression do million dollar players experience? The fans, the moderate majority can see right through this charade that is brought about by the establishment in the form of the globalist owners and their dupes the players. At the time of this writing POTUS Trump has nullified the uprising and has won this current battle. The owners have been brought to heel and the players neutralized. The CinC Donald Trump is constantly underestimated and despite the fact that there were issues involving freedom of speech and civil rights, the marrow of the matter in this is once again we repeat, a front in the culture wars between out of control progressives and the new conservative movement that is being ushered in by Donald Trump. The fight for now is over, yet the war goes on.

USA Realignment

Russia is currently enjoying the effects of an inner realignment and in the process recovering the influence of the former Soviet Union, thereby strengthening the country’s “Nation-Branding” for World Cup 2018. Wikipedia defines Nation Branding as a concept that aims to measure “the application of corporate marketing concepts and techniques to countries, in the interests of enhancing their reputation in international relations.”

Many nations aim to improve their country's standing, as the image and reputation of a nation can dramatically influence its economic vitality. They seek to attract tourism and investment capital, increase exports, attract a talented and creative workforce, and enhance their cultural and political influence in the world. Different ways that nations project their nation brand include export, foreign direct investment,tourism as well as their NGO’s. The Brand of the Union of Socialist Soviet Republics, (USSR) reached that distinction and distinguished itself as being one of HIGH “quality” or top-shelf value.

This occurred after it’s triumph during World War 2 over Nazi Germany, they then became a global power, earning itself a place at the United Nations Security Council (UN) alongside the other permanent members, France, UK, USA and China. This new status, was then consolidated with important infrastructure works, achieving strategic souverainetéalimentaireto feed it’s massive and growing population, as well as energy independence which allowed it to not have to be dependent on any other country, earning it the admiration of the world.

All of this made the USSR worthy of being the organizer of the 1980 Moscow Olympics, these were a resounding success, in spite of the boycott of certain invidious and jealous countries. Afterwards the decay and passing of the USSR on December 25, 1991 brought about in tandem the loss of the Nation Branding effort that the Russians enjoyed and their social stability. The Russian Federation, is now the successor state, or the “heir” to the USSR, but it assumed it’s inheritance in calamitous circumstances, these blemished and marred it’s economy, it’s territory and pride.

Russia then undergoes a long and painful transition burdened with diverse political conflicts, amongst these the attempted coup of 1993, the bloody Chechnya war, these things further cast down Russian prestige, constantly losing influence everywhere in the world. Ever since the aforementioned Olympics until recently, 30 years go by with the Russians seemingly unable to show any achievements to the world. This all appeared to change with the rise of Vladimir Putin in 1999, to the position of Chief Executive of Russia. Putin is able to pacify, stabilize and then relaunch Russia and it’s new Nation Brand. He ends the Chechnya War with victory for Russia. He consolidates territory in the vastness of the country, checking multiple separatist movements. Internal social peace is achieved. Crime is brought under control. The fostering of free enterprise takes place. The restructuring of the Russian Oil and Gas industry, turning Russia once again into a world leader in the field. The implementation of democracy by way of free elections, these are held without traumatic events or delays. At the same time old alliances with former USSR friendly countries are re-established. This prowess has achieved that the Russian Brand would once again be taken seriously for the celebration of the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi 2014, TAKING PLACE 34 YEARS AFTER MOSCOW 1980!!!! The difference was that there were no boycotts, all of this being a success in splendor, organization and security for all the attendees.

The Russian “Brand” is consolidating itself with WORLD CUP 2018, which appears set to become a resounding success, the stadiums and related infrastructure to the event are ready to go. This has put in evidence that the Russians have recovered their ability in being a World Class Power in the economic and diplomatic sense, able to timely set, stage and execute events of this high level of magnitude and prestige. So Russia is back and it’s about time that the realignment has nearly come full circle at least in our eyes.

The USA is also in a state of realignment. 9 and half years ago a man named Barak Obama promised Americans Change, a new realignment. He promised to Re-Brand America after the disastrous Bush Dynasty years. Then came another man who didn’t like this kind of change or realignment, this man is called; Donald Trump. Trump decided to smash and demolish the current Nation Branding that the USA had under Obama. Instead of Leading from Behind as some type of anomalous or atypical figure.

Trump decided to step directly into the lime light, then boisterously and loudly declare that he would MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. This involved turning back the clock to the so-called All-American virtues of Truth, Justice and the American way, so some might say. Traditionalism and once established norms would be focused on again, like Christianity, Family Values, Closed Borders and the scariest one of all; Nationalism were about to make a big comeback. Doing so would collide head on with the Globalist Cabal that viewed Traditional All American Values as aberrant and toxic. The Left that had held sway in an almost unchallenged fashion for so long on both sides of the Atlantic was now to face it’s greatest foe.

Trump, a White Straight Christian Male, who owed his success to nobody but himself and is beholden to no one. This man who they called undisciplined and bandied about all other types of epithets to morally impeach him, has already built a global real estate empire and reared half a dozen seemingly well adjusted children. He has a stable marriage and all of his former wives speak highly of him (which many a man knows is quite difficult even from one to do), notwithstanding the current spouse who has had to nobly and stoically endure a formidable array of harassments and insults from the so-called “Tolerant Left” and it’s legion of mad cap acolytes, who spare no time in speaking ill of her.

The now known excesses of the Left and the so-called Liberal, Pseudo Progressive Establishment that it has imposed on it’s own population and pushed on the rest of the world has caused a national reaction which was begging for a realignment with the election of Mr. Trump. Trump is now the Champion of that mass of the population that made known their desire for a realignment at the ballot box just as a sizable portion of Russians clamored for a Putin who has now Made Russia Great Again.

Trump, was always a political centrist moderate with a slight conservative bent, much like most of the USA population & was horrified at the 8 years of the Uber Leftist Obama regime. Ironically he also was once a registered Democrat and a close friend of the Clintons. They even attended his wedding to the now much suffering Melania. Yet as mentioned, even he, Trump was aghast at the changes taking place in the country of his birth, he like many found the tyranny of the left intolerable.

Even the now tarnished Actor Comedian Roseanne Barr stated, that the left had gone to far. Due to this there is a true social fermentation that this writer has observed and dares to declare that a revolt against the so-called Liberal Order is now taking place. A Liberal Order that according to Argentine thinker, Nicholas Marquez, has become an Authoritarian Pseudo Progressive framework that reigns in the West, that rages against traditional values, is bent on rendering asunder the foundations of the true heritage of Western Civilization. Whether they be Freedom of Speech and the Traditional Family by way of attacking the so called Patriarchy and promoting the abolishment of Genders, it all has a bullseye on it.

A violent and dangerous extremism on the Left has arisen, which is just as dangerous as the one on the Right as stated by modern day Philosopher and Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Jordan Peterson and exhibited itself at Stanford University in Berkley California, ironically the birthplace of the modern concept of freedom of speech. Some of the reasons why this revolt is taking place are; The Obama establishment taking political correctness to new levels, where people were even afraid to speak their mind anymore, as witnessed by this writer on many an occasion. Hollywood Hysteria and the rise of a so-called Resistance.

Who can forget the constant assault on the “White Straight Male” that went on unabated until very recently? The balance of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell was abolished. Christians and conservatives constantly harassed. Race relations becoming worse and worse, giving rise to Black Lives Matter. Stealth persecution of Christians and their organizations, exemplified by Obama’s “Clutching to Bibles and Guns” comment and the IRS’s actions against them. The increase of the powers of the new un-official inquisitor or the state, The Southern Poverty Law Center, who will label anyone they disagree with as a “Hate” group. The Leaders of the Democratic Party were becoming a class of people above the law, as portrayed when presidential candidate Hilary Clinton was able to maneuver the Department of Justice from indicting her for bribery and conspiracy when it was discovered she improperly handled classified top secret information and large donations made to the Clinton Foundation.

Huma Abedine and other Clinton aides were granted immunity of all sorts while many of Trumps associates are indicted and harassed. This all displays the rot that took hold of the system during the 8 years of Obama and the urgent need for a realignment to take place. The Nation Branding of the USA indeed took a severe beating during the Obama years in spite of the gloss and shine portrayed by the Fake News Media. Yet Trump is aggressively changing that National Brand of the USA back to what he defines AS GREAT AGAIN. That is his ideology, this is now the BRAND.

The genius of the United States of America, to "rescue"

WikiLeaks intelligence and "transparency" organization founded by Julian Assange in December 2006, after the successful "coup" of 2010 in which they obtained and disclosed to the world the secret and confidential archives of the Pentagon relating to the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and those of the State Department concerning their intelligence reports on operations, profiles, businesses and other ills in all countries of the world, where the United States of America has a direct, indirect or circumstantial impact .... Suddenly, these "files" stopped being revealed or made known.

BACKGROUND:

In 2010, after these leaks. Immediately the United States of America moved all its tentacles and resources to punish those responsible, and then "stop" that matter.

From that onslaught ...

- Cut or diminished all information.
- Cut or reduce any source of funding.
- Detected, imprisoned or exiled the "filterers": Chelsea Manning and Edward Snowden.
- They cornered Julian Assange by making criminal records and extradition requests that forced him to go into exile at the Embassy of Ecuador in London England.

THE GREAT JOB OF UNCLE SAM.

Before the measures taken by the United States of America ... Julian Assange was forced to "suspend" the issuance of all these "leaks" on the official WikiLeaks website, not having enough economic and human resources for such a titanic work. These are more than 250,000 "cables" and barely two thousand have been uncovered.

When they were "tied hand and foot," they unexpectedly began to tempt him with various, varied, and multiple offers to yield, sell, or "share" such valuable information to an "independent media troika" led by The New York Times, German Der Spiegel, Britain's The Guardian, Frenchman Le Monde and El Pais, from Spain.

Already in December of that same year 2010, these media had "the world's first" to give "continuity" to the revelation of such delicate, sensitive and historical information .... Beginning with "dripping" to make known some and "strangely" keep others in the darkness. Finally: These "cables" were transferred "exclusively" to several "independent" media in all parts of the world ... Those who acquired "local representation" of all those documents that concern their respective countries.
