Blogs are now very popular. Because of its simplicity, each person can make a blog with a very quick and easy. different to create a website, create a blog does not need programming skills. In a way this blog will discuss how blogging on wordpress.com only. Because WordPress is free blog service providers are very popular (in addition to wordpress.com, there are no less popular blogger.com her with wordpress.com).

1. Application Process and Setup
1. Registration. click here: http://id.wordpress.com click on "Sign Up Now" or "List"
2. Follow the registration process until completed and then try to login with your user name and password.
3. To note:
o The title of your blog and your blog description must be unique, do not let you leave this section is not editable.
o Fill in your email is active.
o Select Indonesian if you want to write a blog in Indonesian.
4. Then you get into the dashboard (dashboard)

Back to Dashboard, the top menu (light blue) is called the main menu and the menu is called the sub menus underneath. Dashboard menu has sub menu Dashboard, Blog Stats (statistics blog), Blog Tag Surfer and Surfer (to search the blog) and My Comments. For the moment let alone what it is.
First to be opened is the Options menu (option) make sure the title, tagline, language, and your email correctly. Allow people post comments without having to log into wordpress.
Blog Language Interface Language is different. Blog Language is the language of the blog contents, such as the contents of your blog in Indonesian language, then choose Indonesian Language Blog (on the Options menu or option).
While Interface Language is the language used in the Control Panel when you log on WordPress.com. I prefer the English Language Interface. (on the menu User -> Your Profile, or User -> Your Profile).

Go to sub menu Discussion (discussion). Eliminate check the option "user must have approved comment". This means that anyone can comment on your blog, although have never commented at all.
2. Change the theme of your blog, go to the menu presentation (look)

This section is usually the longest in the setup because you will face many choices. After selecting a theme, you can configure the widget:
1. In the sub menu Themes, you can choose a theme that you like, want one column, two columns, or any other model up to you.
2. You can open a sub menu Widgets, in this sub menu, you can lift the hold in (drag & drop) Widgets. Widgets are an additional but very important facility to beautify our blog.
3. You can open a sub menu Custom Image Header, if you want to change the header image with a special picture.

3. Write a Post - Open the Write

There are two sub menus:
1. Sub menu Write Post used to write articles on your blog. This is the most often you do later.
2. Sub menu Write Page use to create static pages (eg your profile).
When we activate the sub menus Write Post then a window will appear similar to Microsoft Word, that is where we type in our articles.

Note the numbers shown above:
1. The title of your post is placed here.
2. You can choose to edit visually or code.
3. Enable show advanced toolbar icon.
4. Fill in your writing here.
5. Fill your tags with keywords (keyword), can be more than one.
6. Content Category by category your post, can be more than one. For example: Graphic Design.
7. To upload (upload) images.
8. Allow Comments Enable or not is up to you.
9. Press Save & Continue Editing to save your blog.
At the top there are small icons as a tool for writing. The most commonly used are:
1. Bold (Control + B)
2. Italic (Control + I)
3. Creating links, text blocks and press (Alt + Shift A) or Ctr + K
4. Inserting images (Alt + Shift + M).
If you want to insert a picture, then upload your image first (there is the option Upload / Upload at the bottom). Selah image is uploaded, select the image above, click the right mouse button and choose Copy Shortcut, Copy Link Location or Copy Link Address field, you just press Alt + Shift + M followed by Control + V to fill the address of Fig.
These shortcuts may be different for each browser, you can feel the mouse these icons to find out what shortcuts to suit your browser.
When you are finished writing, press the Save & Continue Editing. Then go back to your blog on http://username.wordpress.com
It's good? If you want to edit again, read your own blog, if you're still logged in wordpress, then you can click the EDIT menu or edit to any article that is on your blog. To edit or delete a literary, use the Manage menu -> Post / Page or Manage -> Posts / Pages.

Skype 5.0 Free calls to landlines,debutes with Facebook

Skype is about to become much more social with the launch of Skype 5.0. Today, the company announced that the new version of Skype 5.0 for Windows will include a deep Facebook integration.

After logging in via Facebook Connect, you’ll be able to see your Facebook News Feed with the Skype interface, post status updates that can be synced with your Skype mood message and comment and like friends’ updates and wall posts.

In terms of actual integration with the VoIP end of things, you can now call and SMS your Facebook friends on their mobile phones and landlines from Skype. You can also make a make a free Skype-to-Skype call if your Facebook friend is also a Skype contact.

Video calling is on the rise (video calling on Skype accounted for approximately 40% of all Skype-to-Skype minutes in the first half of this year), so Skype is giving users a free trial ofgroup video calling.

The new version of Skype also features automatic call recovery, which helps you immediately reconnect calls that are interrupted due to Internet connection problems. Lastly, Skype will include an improved UI and a new home dashboard which features a feed of mood messages from your contacts, and tutorials on Skype features and more.

Clearly the big news here is the Facebook integration, which is a big win for Skype when it comes to adding a social component to its product. It could help Skype, which is filing for an IPO, expand its userbase (Skype currently has 560 million registered users), and it make the VoIP product more relevant in Facebook users day-to-day interactions. It should be interesting to see where the two companies take this partnership and if the integration extends to Skype’s mobile apps. Of course, Facebook could just buy Skype.

Increase your RAM and so system speed

Hello friends....speed of a system entirely depends upon ram(random acess memory).

This all we know...today i will tell u, how to avoid extra usage of ram,while the application is not in use....

There are many other tweeks and tricks to speed up your system,which i will write for u,if i get time.

If anyone have any better idea....then please tell.

And dont forget to do comments

1). Start any application, say Word. Open some large documents.

2). Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to open Windows Task Manager and clickProcesses tab and sort the list in descending order on Mem Usage. You will notice that WINWORD.EXE will be somewhere at the top, using multiple MBs of memory.

3). Now switch to Word and simply minimize it. (Don't use theMinimize All Windows option of the task bar).

4). Now go back to the Windows Task Manager and see whereWINWORD.EXE is listed. Most probably you will not find it at the top. You will typically have to scroll to the bottom of the list to find Word. Now check out the amount of RAM it is using. Surprised? The memory utilization has reduced by a huge amount.

5). Minimize each application that you are currently not working on by clicking on the Minimize button & you can increase the amount of available RAM by a substantial margin. Depending upon the number and type of applications you use together, the difference can be as much as 50 percent of extra RAM.

In any multitasking system, minimizing an application means that it won't be utilized by the user right now. Therefore, the OS automatically makes the application use virtual memory & keeps bare minimum amounts of the code in physical RAM.

MYSORE - “Royal city, Garden city or City of Nerds?”

If there is one place in the world I love; it’s got to be Mysore. I urge all those who haven’t been there as yet to plan a trip there. Mysore is variously known as “the royal city”, “the city of palaces” and so on. To me it’s my hometown and a city I miss now that I’m miles and miles away from it.

Mysore is just a 2 1/2 hour drive from Bangalore, but is nothing like the latter. Bangalore is called the “green city” but you have to search high and low to spot the green in the “green city”. Mysore, in my opinion, having seen both cities, is the greener of the two. It has beautiful parks, shady avenues, flowering trees on either side of the road and on the whole has more forest or green cover than has Bangalore with its unrelenting drive for development sans any sense or order.

The climate in Mysore is salubrious, in that it is pleasant climate. I even think most Mysoreans never leave, or hate to leave Mysore because most other parts of the country are extremely hot; the average Mysorean is not used to this.

Mysore is equally easy-going, well-to-do, cultured, vibrant, quaint, royal, romantic and charming. Here the old and the new, the modern and the ancient, the conservative and the liberal, live and thrive side by side without getting on each others nerves. For centuries people from various religious backgrounds have lived in harmony and Mysore‘s erstwhile enlightened and foresighted royal rulers have to be credited for essentially nurturing this spirit of tolerance among their subjects through their own conduct.

There was a time when Mysore consisted essentially of Kannadigas and was pretty conservative. This is not the case in today’s Mysore. Its proximity to Bangalore has meant that Bangalore’s cosmopolitan crowd has moved to Mysore, partly because the former has become almost intolerable to live in and partly because IT companies such as Infosys have set up shop in Mysore. In fact it is easier to commute everyday from Mysore to Bangalore for work (which a lot of people do today) than commute within Bangalore itself where one is most likely to be stuck for hours at traffic signals and traffic jams.

The “royal city” which is rich in the arts, culture, architecture, music and cuisine is well-known world-over as a popular tourist destination but Mysore is also a “nerdy” city. As many premium institutions for higher education are based in Mysore, this lovely city boasts of hosting students from various parts of the world and it is common to see young people of varied skin tones…white, brown, yellow, black ,hanging out at their favorite “addas”. A lot of westerners particularly, come to Mysore to live there and learn yoga, thus becoming a permanent fixture of the Mysore landscape.

The much celebrated cartoonist RK Laxman and his equally illustrious brother NK Narayan, author of the “The Malgudi Days”, are just two of the illustrious sons of Mysore.

Any travel directory will tell you about the famous tourist haunts in and around Mysore. It will tell you about the things peculiar to this city such as the Mysore sandalwood that the notorious Veerapan was known to smuggle illegally out of the forests, the sweet-smelling ‘mysuru malige’ or Mysore jasmine, the gorgeous silk sarees, the intricate ivory- inlaid handicrafts of rosewood, the annual Dusshera festivities, Tibetan monks from the monasteries nearby and such other things. To me Mysore means all this and more and to capture the essence and spirit of this enchanting city in a humble blog is hopelessly inadequate.
