First up we have Sebastian Massianello & D.E.R. who turn out a denotative track in “X-plode”. If you like Progressive House with a big bouncy and Techy feel, you are gonna dig this one for sure. Massive leads and synths are properly balanced with a tough and grimey bassline to make “X-plode” main floor ready, big business!

Next up is Botbass blowing up your speakers in a big way with “I Like It” featuring amazing chords and speaker shattering low ends. The massive main breakdown will have hands in the air everywhere that this one is dropped and the tiny bit of vocal snips dripped throughout compliment the tough bassline perfectly, killer!

Next up is “Bout to Freak” from Sneaker & The Dryer which is a quirky groover blurring the lines between Electro House and broken beat, keeping things danceable and fun with a catchy hook that will easily get stuck in your head for days.

Finishing things off in a big way, S&D hit you with a vicious tuna that's more like a barracuda in "Give Up" which is pure Breakbeat through and through. I love having free stuff for our readers on Fridays more than any other day and I'm happy to say that we've got a huge choona for everybody today. The Sunshine State's Sharaz just posted up a brand new freebie about ten hours ago and it's already about halfway to it's 1,000 download limit so you better get on it quick like!

Having played alongside many of EDM and Breaks top producers and Djs, Sharaz has been a household name for a long time now. He was actually one of the first Breakbeat producers that I got into when I started moving in that direction quite a few years back.

Sharaz has been nominated for an IDMA as well as being nominated for "America's Favorite DJ" in the Breakbeat category multiple times by BPM Magazine. With 35 records and 5 CD's plus a slew of well known edits and remixes released, Sharaz keeps pumping out banger after banger so it's no wonder he's a favorite of many a Dj worldwide. New Release, Free Track and Free Mix - MC2 - Beat Em Up

Crashing through your bass bins like a ferocious Electro, Glitch-Step, Daft Punk Symphony are French production duo MC2 and they're bringing a free track, mix and wicked 3 tune EP with them, duck and cover!

Hailing from Marseille, France, MC2 is an up and coming Glitch-Hop duet. Playing live with controllers joysticks and pads, they could easily be seen as a proper Rock band. Their music is a blend of Glitch-Hop, Dubstep, IDM and discrete yet strong Mediterranean influences.

Miosine and Ckel started making music together back in 2008 and quickly released remixes for the likes of Missil, Tambour Battant and Nasser on labels such as Boxon, Leonizer and Discograph. In 2011 they released their first EP on Marseilles imprint I.O.T, "Mcs Slicing".

MC2 soon joined the Château Bruyant Team alongside Tambour Battant, Niveau Zero, The Unik and Habstrakt and are ready and able to launch some new glitch bombs as well as performing furious live sets.

Storming into 2012 with a gargantuan EP, combining Dubstep, Glitch-Hop, sexy and lush French filtered orchestral, and cut up Electro, MC2 are hitting you hard with three big tunas.

"Beat Em Up's" intro is Electro P Funk synth heaven, crashing into heavily distorted bass cut up with programmed beats and computer game parps and whizzes.

"Feel Roll Ins" is a ferocious Dubstep judderer with fierce chops and razor sharp drums and sampling, Daft Punk on steroids!

"Computer Slave" is straight up Glitch-Hop with all kinds of funk in the trunk and one bad ass attitude! Sprinkling in delicate bleeps and a kind of 80's cop show film score drop, MC2 will have everyone's hands in the air with this one!

Happy Happy Joy Joy! Friday's are fantastic, especially when you're getting free music that will rock every crowd you drop it on! In need of a heavy banger to seriously invigorate and decimate every dancefloor it's unleashed upon.... I thought you might. That's exactly why Sneaker & The Dryer put together their latest edit and I think you'll agree after just one listen that it's pure "fire".

The ones like Knife Party have taken the EDM scene by storm in just a few months reaching stratospheric numbers in ridiculously short periods of time. Combining the best of Electro House, Dubstep and Breaks into one mind blowing sound, these guys are bringing the business in a big way!

Having recently dropped a free, four track EP entitled "100% No Modern Talking" that it is being played out by just about everybody you can think of, tunes like "Internet Friends" and "Tourniquet" are taking the Complextro style to the next level. "Fire Hive" is the first tuna off of the EP and with this one Knife Party make the journey into Dubstep territory and sufficiently stake their claim.

What's that you say, you're not a fan of trying to mix Dubstep into your 4/4 and Breaks sets.... neither am I. Well you are in luck because the Sneaker & The Dryer Edit of "Fire Hive" is made to easily mix in with either genre.

Starting things off with S&D's trademark heavy kick and snare, this is one edit that does not just have an extra drum hit added here and there and that's all you get. A whole new work in is the most noticeable change to start things off and Public Enemy snips will quickly remind you that this is not the original! What's that you say, you don't have your volume cranked, well turn that shit up and get ready to get down as Sneaker & The Dryer totally rework the main section into a 4/4 monster that will have kids headbanging from the front row all the way to the back.

Pulling vocal samples from a total of four different tracks, the main breakdown makes another major change-up and 1-2 steps back into Dubstep with lyrics from Stardust and Clipse riding over the top. One last big build and break and then it's time for the final 180 returning to the four/four madness to finish things off, enjoy!

Pushing phat, driving broken beat sounds for close to a decade now, DiiSTORTiiON has had plenty of experience playing at clubs and events across Australia and abroad.

His roots firmly planted in Breakbeat, DiiSTORTiiON pulls influences from across the electronic music spectrum in both his production and live performances. A hybrid sound of Breakbeat, DnB, Dubstep, Drumstep and Electronic Hip hop has seen him rise in popularity within the international and local Broken Beat scene, both in the music charts and in the live arena.

Originating from Perth, Western Australia, DiiSTORTiiON discovered breakbeat in his early clubbing days and never looked back. Seeing acts like Soul of Man, Krafty Kuts, Aquasky and Adam Freeland, rock Perth’s most renowned underground club – Ambar, completely converted him over to electronic music and his alter ego DiiSTORTiiON was born.

Quickly gaining sets at clubs all over Perth, DiiSTORTiiON became well known for his harder edged style of Breaks while still having a party vibe blended throughout. Playing out more and more eventually caught the eye of Perth’s Elite Dj’s “Japan 4”, otherwise known as Ambar’s residents and he was soon invited to join their ranks.

Stepping outside the clubs DiiSTORTiiON kept busy by doing plenty of local radio support slots and a five year long weekly radio show called ‘Broken Frequency’. Starting out on local Australian radio Kranky Digital, DiiSTORTiiON eventually moved over to the number one online Breakbeat radio station in the world, NSB Radio, where he hosted a weekly 2 hour radio show showcasing the newest Breakbeat tracks to a worldwide audience.

Spreading outside of Perth DiiSTORTiiON toured regularly on the east coast of Australia supporting such acts as Elite Force, Chase & Status and The Rouge Element while they were on tour. Gigs on the East Coast got so regular he eventually decided to pick up everything and move over to Melbourne to continue his Dj career from there.

Diistortiion's hard work in the studio eventually paid off as well with three of his original tracks being signed to USA Breakbeat label Ridiculoud Records and his online mixes, bootlegs and original material reaching over 14,000 downloads worldwide. His first EP "Dynamite" was a massive success with it receiving 3.5 out of 5 stars by Dj Mag and it also received support from Far Too Loud, Karton, Kickflip and many others. Mr No Hands, the former Breaks and Bass reviewer over at Mix Mag in the UK, described Diistortiion as “a Breaks act to keep an eye on globally.”

On the Djing front Diistortiion has picked up multiple residencies with the Mixed Messages crew, Skool of Thought's "Against the Grain" parties, Brown Alley's resident Saturdays "Under Suspicion", Melbourne’s premium weekly Breaks night "Bass Camp" at Lounge plus guest spots all over town.

Support slots also stepped up with DiiSTORTiiON being fortunate enough to share the stage with some of the biggest names in the business including Stanton Warriors, Elite Force, Ctrl Z, Napt, General Midi, The Freestylers plus many more.

In 2011 Diistortiion heavily focused on production and in the first few months of the year he had three of his original tracks signed and released on Ridiculoud Records, V.I.M Records and Definition Breaks. Remix requests are steadily coming in as well with remixes for "Best New Label" at Breakspoll 2011 winner, Scarcity Records plus work with V.I.M records, Definition Breaks and Canadian label Breakz R Boss.

One of his latest tracks, his remix of Bassik's tune "It's About Time" (out on Breakz R Boss records) made it into the top 3 releases on Beatport’s Top 100 releases chart plus in the top 10 tracks of the week and on Trackitdown.net it made it's way to number three in the Top 100 Breaks charts.

Gigs haven’t slowed down either with a heap of massive support slots at events, clubs and festivals up and down the East Coast. Making the move into promotions as well, Diistortiion is heavily involved with running the Mixed Messages parties at Brown Alley with his mate Muska and the rest of the Mixed Messages crew. Ah, that wonderful day known as Friday, who's ready for the weekend! If you're not quite yet in party mode, (granted it is 8am here on the East Coast) I've got just what you need to get you there, get ready for the business!

Front man and founder of Kick It Recordings, Florida native Farace is one of the most talented, dedicated and hard working people I have ever met. He is non-stop pushing himself to improve and accomplish more and his skill set is ever expanding. From making killer tunes to running one of the fastest rising labels along with his partner Btz, to working with stills and film, Farace can pretty much do it all and he does it well and with style!

Recently Farace has been working with two other well known Florida artists, Dave Berg and Kristen Campbell. Add MC Benzo into the mix and you have the recipe for some massive magic to happen and that's just what "Fly Away" is, pure magic and it's forthcoming on Kick It!

But as I stated before, not only is Farace a whiz-kid in the studio, constantly knocking out banger after banger but he's a creative genius all around and this has resulted in the "Fly Away Showdown" brought to you by Kick It Recordings, Diamond Dave and Sugar Fingers Farace.

Fortunes and loved ones have been won and lost on these small folding apparatuses and the story is no different between these two paddle wielding legends. Having faced each other over the years in various undisclosed locations, the rivalry between these two fierce competitors burns like a three alarm blaze that can only be extinguished by one final match. When it comes to table tennis and talking trash, both Diamond Dave and Sugar Fingers can serve up aces all day long and the matches pre-game interviews only provided more fuel for the firestorm that was to be unleashed in the shadows of a small but well known club deep in the city. Unfortunately for these two Racket-teers, the ITTF caught wind of the showdown and nothing good ever happens when they get involved, if you don't know what I mean you'll just have to see for yourselves.

Ladies and gentlemen have we got a big release for you all today! Kick It Recordings is ramping things up for 2012 and today we have our first release of the year. KIR264 is starting things off right with the return of Kwerk and the one like VovKING bringing us a Massive remix which has already picked up a feature from Track It Down!

Kwerk has been garnering support from many a Dj with his crisp beats and tight production and “Don’t Stop” keeps right in line with the rest of his previous releases. Chunky drums and Kwerky stabs set things in motion for this one quickly followed by vocal stabs working their way in. A super short break and then your hit right smack in the face with the wicked bassline that jerks and twerks it’s way through the speakers. Hey hey, Hump Day is upon us again and the halfway point is already here. Bringing us the business on this fine Wednesday is the one they call Roxright coming at us from Perth, Australia. 2011 was a big year for Roxright with his remix of Enough Weapons' "Walking on Water" on A Break Records and also a collaboration that he did with Karl Sav entitled "Johnny 5" for Karl's "Waterdog" EP, that just recently came out on Strontium Music. Roxright's radio show "Breaking Point" on NSB Radio has continued to gather fans and supporters and his regular slots at the FreQualizer Breakbeat parties in Perth are helping to make him a well known name in Breaksville.

Just a few hours ago Roxright turned loose two sweet little gems on his Soundcloud page and while they are both very different tracks, each can have it's place in a set.

Starting things off for us is Roxright's banging Re-Rub he has put together "R U There to Touch Your Toes" which takes vocals from Darrison and has them riding dirty alongside a Quadrat Beat's "R U There". Plenty of drive with a bit of disco and funky flavor = all win on this one.

I hope everybody had a great weekend, now who's in the mood for another free tuna, I know I am! Today it's all about the bassline Breaks with Original Primate bringing us a wicked remix of A Dominant Species "Musical Bliss Kiss".

Original Primate have been putting out some heavy business on a handful of labels like APE Recordings, Pop & Lock as well as Kick It with their recent remix of Silverfilter's "Manila Sound" and their forthcoming original on Kick It, "Loaded Gun" which is just awesome. The UK duo focuses on broken beats and Future Jungle and the word is getting around about these two.

Putting their rough and rugged stylings on "Musical Bliss Kiss", the O.P. fellas do a masterful job on this one as there are three different versions on the original release but Original Primate's Blista Remix, is my favorite out of the bunch and you can grab it for free.

Setting things in motion we have a super crunched guitar lead that just hints at where things are about to go. Next up we have the vocals from the original entering the fray quickly followed by the Breakbeat O.P. have set this one to.

The first breakdown is where the magic really starts to happen, the guitar makes itself fully known and just a bit of sub bass sneaks in as well. Just before getting right down to it you are given just a taste of the real bassline that's about to do it's dirty work, a quick edit and then it's go time. 1. – At what age did you first find yourself gravitating towards electronic music and who were some of the artists outside of Electronic music that influenced that?

I started listening to electonic music when i was 8, it was The Prodigy :) Then my musical tastes changed & I payed more attention to Hip-Hop & Rock/Metal music. When i was 16 my friend gave me my first Splitloop's album 'Here on Business'... After that I was fascinated by electronic music, I learned about Breakbeat music & became a Dj..

2. – What was your very first Album? How about CD?

I have few digital releases at the moment. I think that I'm too young for an album. You need to understansd music much better than me to start make an album.

3. – How did you first get involved with the Electronic music culture and what was the first event that you attended?

I did not go to any events before i became a dj. I was born in a small town there wasn't any raves, festivals etc.

4. – Where was your favorite gig that you have had to date?

Think, that it might be in the end of January. It'll be the massive festival Ideology, formed by my friend - Dj Tapolsky. There will be fantastic line-up! We'll play with Calvertron, Dubsidia, The Prototypes, Chasing Shadows....

5. - Who have you been most proud to play alongside?

I'm proud that I work with Splitloop at Toastclub at the moment :)

6. - Where would you most like to play that you have not yet?

Don't know... There are many festivals in Ukraine where I'll play in 2012. I really wanna visit the USA!

7. - What is your favorite tune you have released?

I think that my listeners must evaluate my work. As for me - I'm very happy with the 'Stimulator' & with my remix for Kwerk. I play only these 2 tunes from all stuff that I made. Also I have few succesfull tunes & remixes with Tapolsky.

8. - Who is your favorite EDM artist? How about outside of EDM?

Splitloop! They make the most quality music to me. Also I Like General MIDI, Skrillex, Oliver Huntemann, Acess Denied, Alex Metric, old tunes from Rogue Element, Camo & Krooked, CTRL Z, and Gessafelstein.There are a lot artists outside of electronic music that I like. There are many Ukrainian & old Russian artists, Rock & Pop bands such as Ill Nino, Nickelback, Hatebreed, Flaw, Killowats & Vanek, Maroon 5, Eminem, David Guetta, Rhiana & much more :)

9. - Who are some artists you would like to collaborate with in the future?

General MIDI! His sound is fantastic. Also i would like to do something with Skrillex.

10. - What is your preferred software for producing? Hardware?

I use Ableton Live for production. I like Massive, Sylenth 1. For Hardware I use the NI Maschine & few controllers. Native Instruments is incredible - I love their products very much!

11. - What life lessons has the music industry taught you?

You must develop! You must develop all life long!!!

12. – What does the future hold for VovKING?

Only God knows it. I wanna start to play live. I produce only breaks as VovKING at the moment, also I want to try to make some other styles of music with different artist. We make Dubstep, Moombahton & other bass music with Tapolsky, I produce Techno with my friend Dub-Ro. I don't know what will be the result of that all...

Free Track and New Video - Under Construction - In My Game - Sneaker & The Dryer Remix

Hot diggity another free tuna is up for grabs today! Kick It's artists are non-stop putting in work and we've got an army's worth of artillery coming at you in 2012. Yesterday we had Farace's "Madness Inside" featuring Trevor Rockwell and today Sneaker & The Dryer are back with a Broken House remix of Under Construction's "In My Game" that just went Live 24 hours ago!

Big kicks and crisp snares are backed by a plethora of bleeps, blips and stabs right from the get go keeping things moving along straight from the first hit. The unmistakeable strings from the original fill the first break which is almost identical to how Under Construction did it but things quickly change from there.

Re-worked vocals and brand new bass give a whole new feel while still retaining all the goodness from it's predecessor. Constant changes take place through the entire track and after eight bars of synth work it's time for a round of complextro bass edits, another quick break and then a dose of talking low ends. The main breakdown has a massive buildup and then switches things 180 degrees with a super dubbed out section featuring the funky slap bass from the original. Just in case that wasn't enough for you, the final section picks things up either further with zaps and lasers really turning up the heat to finish things off in proper style.

Wow have we got a serious free tuna for you guys today! The one like Farace has been diligently plodding away in the studio and he has been putting together some monster stuff as of late!

Farace's latest release on Kick It, "Get Up Jax" was one of my favorite tunes of 2011 and he has also teamed up with Dave Berg for a massive banger entitled "Fly Away" featuring Kristen Campbell and MC Benzo which you guys are gonna love when it finally drops!

Today's piece of free action, "Madness Inside", is an Indie Electro stormer featuring chopped up vocals from FL native Trevor Rockwell which has got Farace written all over it. The drum work is maniacal but musical and the synths and bass are nothing but the business. Sexy keys and chained arps quickly get you into the first break which is all about the snare roll and wastes no time getting you right where you want to be, stuck inside your own mind. Mad hatter like use of LFOs and non stop edits will have you wondering if you should drink the bottle or eat the cake, either way, turn this one up and let that bass hit!

Happy New Year friends and readers! I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and that 2012 is getting off on the right foot for you all!

Today I wanted to take a few minutes to talk about the new blog we have for The Shoe Skool Sessions Podcast. The previous site I was using to host The Podcast is terrible and I pay for it so I say screw that! We're taking things down a new road for 2012 and we're Kicking things off with the 2011 End of Year Special! It will now be easier than ever to get each weeks show and I will soon be incorporating Soundcloud as well to make things even better for our listeners and followers!

Holy crap time flies sometimes, no make that all the time! We've got a whole bunch of free stuff to get out to you guys but sometimes it's just impossible to get a blog post in! Today's tuna is a little something different as S&D and Toreba Spacedrift have teamed up to bring you a Broken House remix of Gin Joint's "For Tonight".

With his roots in the Swedish hip hop scene, Gin Joints was still in his teens when he started Djing and making music with rappers like Planet Asia, Grand Agent, Movits! and Young Ivy. A few years down the line, Gin Joints has moved on from his first compositions and turned to 80s Funk, Disco and Electro for inspiration.

To follow up on his very well received debut solo EP, "Know The Ledge", Gin Joints is introducing a brand new five track EP called "For Tonight". Released via Swedish label and party promoter Discotheque á la Carte, the EP includes three original tracks and two killer remixes of the title track by Neon Workout and Simon Frank.

Sneaker & The Dryer & Toreba Spacedrift have joined forces putting together an official remix of "For Tonight" that's available for free to help support the release. Big drums and lots of fillers give this one plenty of funky flavor right from the get go. Heavy synths and Amens keep things interesting as you quickly land in the first break where Gin Joint's vocals start to make their way in. Chopped up beats and loads of edits will keep your feet moving and your head bobbing through the main section and the big leads on the main breakdown add to the drama. Maintaining the feel of the original while putting a whole new twist on it, S&D and Toreba turn out a wicked jammer that pumps from start to finish, grab it for Free!

Yes that's right everybody, we've opened up the Free tune faucet and the beats are steadily flowing. Today we've got another massive freebie for you coming by way of Freefire out of the UK.

The electronically charged duo known as Freefire have been taking dancefloors by storm with their no-nonsense raucous sound. Blending the worlds of Breakbeats and Electro House into their own unique format, Freefire have made waves with tunes like their remix of Fast Foot's "Race My Music" and their Re-Fix of "Hey Sexy Lady" which you can also grab for free on their Soundcloud page.

Monday is back again and Christmas and the New Year are just that much closer!! Seeing as we only have seven days left until the big day, we're going to keep this week free tune orientated starting things off today with a big one coming at you from Utku S.!

With somewhere from 100 - 200 releases under his belt including chart toppers like "Stop It" and "Come Again" plus running two major labels in Tapestop Music and Ventuno Recordings, Turkey's Utku S. is a man on a mission! Signed to labels like Lot 49, Bug Eyed Recordings, Big Fish, Plasmapool and many more, his influences are reaching far and wide.

Utku gave out "Dance Freak" back around Thanksgiving but seeing as it's only gotten around 500 downloads so far, I figured quite a few of you may have missed out in it so we've got it for you below.

"Dance Freak" is pure banging Electro House business from start to finish. You get a synthy side-chained work in to set the mood which makes a short stop on big trance leads before a quick vocal solo and then it's Complextro time with crazy bass edits, huge wobbles, talking low ends and crazy zaps all making an appearance in the next sixteen bars before chilling things out just a tad with another round of Trancey bits and a clean and zappy bassline. The male and female vox are the stars of the main breakdown but there are plenty of strings there as well to keep things moving right along. Building things way up high and then finishing it off a slightly effected vocal solo, you know what's coming next, loads of low ends to give your woofers a workout! Ah yes it's that wonderful day known as Friday again, the weekend has arrived. We've got a pair of bangers on hand for you guys today to get things started in the right direction.

First up newcomer to Kick It, Jad Barrett aka Bureau has put together a slamming remix of "Sunday Standards" that has luscious melodies and wicked bass work, the perfect recipe for a dancefloor killer. Progressively building throughout the track, Jad's remix starts out on a softer note as you work your way into the first breakdown which does a nice job of picking up the intensity in a short time giving you an idea of where things are headed. Big wobbling low ends are the name of the game when the beat comes back around. After another short break, Jad slips in a sweet little dub section with a big snare roll before taking it back to the 4/4 action where things get even livelier with some crazy synth work, if you like big dirty business then this one is for you.

Next up we have a free tuna coming at you from the ones like Felguk! "The Funky Drama" the Felguk Edit is one of their prized gems that they play in just about every shet and it always rocks the floor. This is an exclusive edit Felguk did but never released and now in the spirit of Christmas, you can unwrap this baby on your next crowd and watch it work it's magic. A bit of a wobbling beat starts this one off backed by a big sweep to take you into the breakdown where the vocoded vox start to filter their way in and then it's time for the super squeaky bass to do it's thing. Dashes of synths play in-between the lows and Hip Hop-ish vocal stabs provide some added funk to the mix. If you can't get people moving with this one you might be broken, I'm just saying. Kick It Recordings switches gears for our next release with Memory Machine bringing us his "Drive Time" EP. Just released worldwide today it features four techy tunas that are perfect to drop the top to and let the groove drive with big synths and acid lines.

The title track for the EP “Drive Time” starts things off for us with hefty kicks and more LSD influenced synth work than you can shake a stick at. With big acid synths and massive indie style drums this one will hypnotize the crowd into a dirty frenzy!

The second track in the EP “Midnight” brings a bit of a darker feel and has a hint of Knight Rider tucked in there to lay down the deep grooves.
