I believe in this quote ONE HUNDRED PERCENT. Many times it's not the act that scares us but &lt;br /&gt;
the fact that we can actually accomplish our goals. So many of us would rather avoid the light because our flaws somehow might be revealed (so talking to myself right now). Who cares? We put so much emphasis on what others think that we completely abandon our own thoughts. Why do we question who we are? Why do we question our dreams? Why do we question what we deserve? This should&amp;nbsp;never be&amp;nbsp;the&amp;nbsp;case but we all do it. Why? Simply out of fear and rejection. And why is rejection so bad? It builds character, it gives you one more chance to get back up and try again. Rejection shows who you really are. Do you give up easily or do you go for what you know is yours?&amp;nbsp;Why don't we feel we deserve to receive our gifts or to be recognized for being smart, talented, and fabulous? Who you are can never be taken away from you. You don't have to question why you are these great and awesome things. Just accept them and know that God (whom or whatever you believe, if you believe) created them just for you. It is your job to do something with them. It is your job to enhance humanity and create a better tomorrow with your gifts. Stop holding the world captive in&amp;nbsp;your mind. Be free and chose&amp;nbsp;explore your higher self. By holding&amp;nbsp;your dreams captive&amp;nbsp;you are allowing them&amp;nbsp;will&amp;nbsp;lye dormant until you breath no more. Our talents and dreams are energy, the same energy you, I and the sun are made of. Everything is&amp;nbsp;energy and can't be destroyed. Chose to leave this world empty. Devoid of dreams and&amp;nbsp;aspirations. Know that you did everything possible to leave your foot print in the sand.&amp;nbsp;Stop comparing your gifts and abilities with others. Stay in your own lane. If you don't have one, create one. Nothing about who, what, and what you can accomplish is taken lightly unless you yourself takes it that way. Don't allow others to dim your light. Don't dim your light to let others shine. We were all meant to shine and by you continuing to follow in your purpose gives others strength to do the same. Hey you guys, today is my birthday but that doesn't mean the work stops here. I've still got a LONG way to go and I am determined to reach my goal. For the next 15 days my goal&amp;nbsp;is to lose 10 Lbs. I know it can be done. I plan to be 235Lbs on&amp;nbsp; Feb 14TH. So, after my day off (today), it's back to grind mode. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This week I am amplifying everything I've been doing times 2. My workouts in the gym will now be 2 hours long: Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Working out at home will also begin tomorrow. I will be sweating it out to Zumba, Jillian Michaels, and Billy Blanks (Oldie but goody). Wednesday's are now dedicated to strength training. No matter how much cardio I do, I need to incorporate weights. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
My&amp;nbsp; nutritional intake has also changed. My daily calorie intake has been broken down to 1800 healthy calories. I honestly believe I was eating just enough to maintain my size, even with all the working out. So I gotta do something different to get different results. My eating habits have already begun to&amp;nbsp;change. Working out daily is now 2nd nature to me and I can already see the new me in the mirror. So now I am making the necessary changes to see the results I've been working so hard for. I don't know how long it will take me to lose the weight I just know it's going to happen. The commitment that I have made with myself this time is more real than ever before. Yes, it's my birthday and I am 28 years old this morning!&amp;nbsp;I'm grateful, thankful, and full of love on this morning. I don't have any big events planned. It's just a regular day here in Morocco. This is probably the 1st birthday that I've never celebrated. I guess this is growth. I wont be going to the gym. I'm going to take this day for me. I'll finish my lesson plans for tonight then nothing but relaxation. Tomorrow it's back to the grind. 2 hour gym workouts will commence on February 1st. &lt;br /&gt;
There isn't much for me to do here so where ever you are pop a bottle, do a two step, or rock a cute out fit in my honor. I love you guys to pieces and I pray that this time next year I will be celebrating my weight loss goals and turning 29.&lt;br /&gt;

Jillian is a beast hands down. I think after writing that there isn't much else to say. Even her 25 minute&amp;nbsp;&lt;span style="color: purple;"&gt;30 Day Shred&lt;/span&gt; will&amp;nbsp;have you begging for mommy. Who does that? Jillian does. So today I will be sweating it out to Uncle Luke (her music game is wack though) and good ole J-Dog. This is my change up for the week and I hope you are doing something to shock your body as well. Due to my lack of weight loss (&lt;a href="http://prettyftw.blogspot.com/#!/2012/01/rant-weighing-in.html"&gt;read about it here)&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;this month I'm doing all I can.&amp;nbsp; &lt;br /&gt;

So I finally admitted to myself that I would like to one day become a pescatarian. Not that I hate meat but I would like to try something different. I see where meat and over indulgence can get you so I am willing to try a different route. Im not saying that I will never eat meat again. I'm not even saying this is going to take place tomorrow but I am beginning to set my self up. I can truely say that the biggest lesson I'm learning is to not wait until tomorrow. I was waiting to lose weight for this and waiting for that. However, the longer I wait the less I get done. So I am becoming a woman of action. A woman who&amp;nbsp; knows what she wants. I&amp;nbsp;may not have the answers as to how I will get there but I know it fist starts with action. I used to be a talker well now I'm a doer. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So this afternoon (Sunday)&amp;nbsp;I went and stocked up on groceries. Before I let the house I wrote out a grocery list. That list included veggies, fruit, chicken and shrimp as well as pasta. Well I got to the store and got just about everything I needed. I paid and headed home. As I was about 3/4 of the way home I realised I completely forgot the meat. So either I will see how this goes or in the middle of the week I'll head back to Acima. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
What shocked me the most was my preparation before heading to my local grocer. I actually planned my entire meal schedule for the entire week. I even went to &lt;a href="http://www.allrecipes.com/"&gt;http://www.allrecipes.com/&lt;/a&gt; to check for veggie favorites. I'm surprised because this was not something I had planned to do. I just sat down and this is what came to my head so I started writing. WOW! I am definitely surprising myself. Losing weight and living a healthy clean lifestyle is definitely becoming more of who I am. Mentally preparing yourself is half the battle. Once you have completely made up your mind nothing can sway you. Not even little hiccups along the way. Stay motived and start looking at the progress you've made. Yesterday I woke up late&amp;nbsp;so my whole day was off. I was 2 hours late to the gym, 2 hours late on lunch, 2 hours late for lesson planning and probably something else I can't remember. Thus, I was in a real sucky mood all day. But something made that day even worse. While at the gym I decided to weigh myself. Most of you know that I don't have a scale at home and I refuse to get one. I don't want to become a weigh in psychco. Well that phobia stopped yesterday. Originally I planned to weigh in on my birthday January 30TH (in case you guys wanted to get me something). I hopped on the scale after another gruelling spin&amp;nbsp;class and treadmill cardio session. And guess what? After a&amp;nbsp;little over a month of being strict about my workouts, eating healthy / clean, not missing any workout sessions (accept that&amp;nbsp;one day due to illness), encouraging others on PFTW and at work, I didn't lose one damn pound!&amp;nbsp;I felt like the whole world stopped at that moment. I did everything I could to hold myself together. I got home and I wanted to cry but I didn't. I wanted to be angry but I calmed myself. I didn't even want to fix my lunch. Mentally I was going over the entire 32 days in my head. Replaying every shawarma w/fries&amp;nbsp;(2), 6 inch tuna sandwhich, toblerone candy, fried turkey wing, and pastry I ate at the wedding. What did I do wrong? Maybe 3 days a week isn't enough. Maybe I'm not going hard enough in the gym. I felt like a fraud. My number one issue was posting this information for you to see. How can I encourage you and post all these workout tips and they aren't working for me? &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I got on Facebook and wrote a message on the Fitness Ladies group page. I let out my grievances. Immediately someone was willing to extend their helping hand to me. They were willing to help solve the mystery of what I am doing wrong or what I'm not doing and need to be doing.&amp;nbsp;firstly, I'm so grateful for that because I didn't know what I would do and who I would talk to here in Morocco. Women don't really go to the gym to lose weight. It's more of a social thing and a way for them to get out of the house away from the kids and house work. Fortunately, for me it was easy to gather the information that was asked of me. Earlier in the week (Sunday) I wrote out my workout schedule and my menu for the week. So we are going to uncover the mystery of my zero pound loss in a month. And the tips I'm given I will definitely share with you. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This has definitely been a lesson to me. No one is above asking for help. Yes, I have the blog and I'm writing daily post, sending encouraging words but I struggle too. We are going through this together and we are all going to win. I am releasing 90 pounds no matter what. And you will attain your goals too. I'm not discouraged just a little frustrated. Through this there is a lesson to be learned. I am grateful for the changes I have made thus far. I've stopped being lazy, stopped making excuses and&amp;nbsp;started eating right. I have completely changed my mentality on releasing these 90 pounds. When I look in the mirror I already see the new me. I'm just counting the days until that image manifest itself. I'm not giving upon working out and being aware of what I out in my mouth. Those days are over. The new me has arrived and she just needs a little help. So with that said, if you're having a few disappointments and set backs don't give up. Think of all the great improvements you've made. sit down figure out what's going on. Talk to someone if needed. My BFF#1 Mrs. Dean-Hawkins definitely reminded me of that. &lt;br /&gt;

With all of that being said I will now reveal my weight. As of January 25, 2012 &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="color: red; font-size: large;"&gt;I weigh 245 pounds.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="color: black; font-size: large;"&gt;My goal for February 10, 2012 is to weight 235 pounds. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

I know what I want, I've posted the number by my bed and I'm shooting for a 10 pound loss in 15 days. I normally would think that's too high for 15 days but because of my weight and the fact that I lost nothing this month, I think its reasonable. &lt;br /&gt;

What did the doctor order? More sleep. As I type this it's 2:09 a.m. and I have plans to get up at 6:30 to start my day. I am clearly not listening to the doc. We all know that sleep is essential to life. But sometimes it just seems to get in the way. These days I swear time is just flying by. Trying to prioritise, work, dream preparation, exercise and a little fun leaves me little time for sleep. I don't know about you but my days are full and they show no signs of easing. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A brief read on &lt;a href="http://www.sleepfoundation.org/"&gt;www.sleepfoundation.org&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;revealed a study on sleep and patients who are obese. Check it out below.&lt;br /&gt;

Those who get out and exercise tend to feel better and accomplish more in the daytime. 1. Don't workout in the evening. I've found that working out in the evening keeps me up. My adrenaline starts pumping and I'm up and ready for another 4 to 5 hours. This is the most famous time for binge eating. Up with nothing to do except eat.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2. No sugar at night. This is simple and obvious. We aren't that different from toddlers and&amp;nbsp;9 years old. Would you give your kids chocolate cake and blow pops at 9pm?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3. Drink something warm at night that calms and soothes your body. Try warm milk sans sugar or&amp;nbsp;tea. Works every time for me. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
4. Play relaxing soft music or motivational Cd's on low. I know most of us sleep with the TV or music playing but it's too loud. You can't receive the full benefits of sleep if they are disrupted with blaring music or talking. Put something on that is calming to you. Make sure it's positive. The subconscious is always aware of everything around it. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
5. Keep your room as dark as possible. Light has been known to disrupt sleep. Nothing worse then waking up to a street lamp intruding on your sleep time. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

Women (and men) need to recognize beauty is undeniable at any size. Even if you're almost 300 pounds you can still be beautiful. No I am not endorsing living an unhealthy lifestyle. However, I do promote self LOVE. Before you come to a point where you want to release your extra pounds and begin living and eating clean, you must love yourself. You must hold your self in high regard. When you look in the mirror you may want to change the image but you should still love you. You shouldn't feel disgusted when you look in the mirror. There should be a smile that stretches the width of your face. &lt;strong&gt;You should love you&lt;/strong&gt;. Say boldly and&amp;nbsp; proudly that you are sexy. You are desirable and beautiful in the skin you're in. &amp;nbsp;And when you finally make&amp;nbsp;the decision to&amp;nbsp;transform into the new you, that smile should still be there. So in order to bring awareness to self LOVE there will be a PFTW photo displaying a woman in the fullness of her sensuality. Sometimes we need to remember that until we reach that ultimate goal we need to love the skin we're in. &lt;br /&gt;

I can only imagine what it's like to set out to lose your ultimate goal and to actually accomplish it. In 2006 I set out to lose 63Lbs only to stop short at&amp;nbsp;56. I just gave up and gave in. I for some reason just didn't believe in it anymore but this time I know it's different. I recently was reading a post on Jennifer Hudson an how&amp;nbsp;her weight loss has been life transforming. How she is now truly understanding her self worth and purpose. Understanding the superficial world we live in. And just realising the way things work. I hope one day I will have a similar story. I know that I wont have her story but I hope to share that same clarifying&amp;nbsp;awakening. Upon reading this article I also learned she had a book out in which she is&amp;nbsp;currently on&amp;nbsp;a signing tour with Weight Watchers.&amp;nbsp;How refreshing to&amp;nbsp;have the same ambitions to lose weight and to one day publish my journey.&amp;nbsp; Someday I'll become an example and pull others up when I get in the right position. Her weight loss story just made me realise sometimes you just have to make up your mind and give it your all. &lt;/div&gt;

I seriously don't understand the media. She has decided that a size 2-4 is a comfortable weight. Why should the media or the public have a decision on&amp;nbsp;her weight loss goals? If she would have dropped to a size 10 someone would have said she could lose more. If she gained&amp;nbsp;the weight&amp;nbsp;back she would be called a failure. Why? Because the public and media don't really like big transformations when you look good. Yes, Kirstie Alley did it&amp;nbsp;but who's really checking for her? I'm just sayn'.&amp;nbsp;Plus her self-esteem issues and views on body image&amp;nbsp;are questionable.&amp;nbsp;The last hot&amp;nbsp;celebrity that endorsed WW was Jenny McCarthy and that was in 2006. But my question is&amp;nbsp;when did she become a spokesperson for every fat woman in America? Why do we completely abandon someone once they choose to change their lifestyle? Especially when it's to benefit their overall health. Since she decided to start eating right and&amp;nbsp;improving her body, now she is too skinny. Riiiiiiight. Yes, she lost a lot of weight. Probably the amount most of us dream about losing. But because it seems so far out of reach we condemn anyone else who achieves this goal. Even the &lt;a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/12/20/jennifer-hudsons-weight-loss-is-it-too-much-poll_n_1160592.html"&gt;Huffington Post&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;weighed in on her weight loss by poling their readers. Really?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Jennifer has even stated that losing the weight has shown her how image conscious the would is.&amp;nbsp;According to US magazine Live Smart&amp;nbsp;Jennifer stated&amp;nbsp;"I didn't even realise I was being discriminated against and missed out on things until I crossed over to the other side" and "Now, on this side, they treat you differently, the opportunities are different, my image is different, even though some people do say: I like the fat Jennifer better". Although, this has worked out to her benefit. Stating that ever since the weight loss she has worked everyday.&amp;nbsp;I'm assuming this statement means when she was 80 pounds&amp;nbsp;heavier,&amp;nbsp;bookings were few and far between. Well I say good for her. She has her health, support of family and fans, and most of all she is able to live her dream in it's full capacity. &lt;br /&gt;

It's day&amp;nbsp;3 eating veggies and no meat. I honestly thought I would be missing it by now but so good so far. I haven't missed a beat. My energy has been through the roof and I;m loving the recipes I've been coming up with. I'm not sure about how long this will last but I'm loving it as of now. Monday was a little different. Since I already had my weekly menu planned I just needed to put it into action. So this morning before I headed to the gym I&amp;nbsp;began preparing my meals. &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;li&gt;&amp;nbsp;sliced baked potatoes.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Stuffed eggplant&lt;/li&gt;

I love Lady Gaga's song "Just Dance. And that's exactly what I want you to do. I want you to put on something cute and pair of stilettos and dance the night away. In a bar, club or your apartment. &lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;Just do it!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; That seems to be a recurring theme this week and it works well. Next Monday is my birthday and I don't really have any plans but I will be putting on a nice skirt and a bad pair of heels. I plan to burn a few calories dancing and celebrating the new life I am building. I think you should do the same. All work and no play. Well, you know the rest. And even if you don't celebrate yourself this week make a date to do it really soon. When you celebrate yourself it gives you new life and energy. Make these workouts count so you have something to look forward to. I&amp;nbsp;definitely look forward to burning a few calories and sculpting my calves while popping a bottle of champagne. &lt;br /&gt;

She was beautiful, energetic and also over 400Lbs. I've watched her for the past few months publicly try to lose weight. Isn't that brave? I still feel reluctant about posting on Facebook. Anyway, she hasn't been that successful in losing the weight. At her size it should take only 3 months to lose about 50Lbs. However, I will say she is trying and she is determined to lose the weight. She's juicing, running (yes at 400+), working out in the gym, and has her entire household supporting her. Did I mention she is a wife and mother of 7!!!&amp;nbsp;But there is one thing she lacks . The "know how". Mrsbabyfat as she goes by on Youtube and Twitter, feels she needs more direction and coaching to successfully lose the weight. I couldn't agree more. I think the same thing for myself. &lt;/div&gt;

Now she doesn't want to lose 100 or 200Lbs. She wants to lose a grand total of 300Lbs. How awesome!!!! So recently she posted a video on Twitter about winning a trip to the "Biggest Losers" ranch. She is really determined and needs&amp;nbsp;our votes. I personaly told her that we would support her here at PFTW. That's why we are here right? There is&amp;nbsp;a new video craze on YouTube with videos entitled "Shit (People) Say". I think some of them are beyond funny. I recently viewed one entitled&amp;nbsp;"Shit&amp;nbsp;Fat Girls Say".&amp;nbsp;Although I understand some people may not be as forward thinking and as accepting as I. I still would like for you to check it out. There is one line that I think is soooo true. He/she says "I'm not hungry hungry, but I could eat". How many of us say this all the time? It's either you are hungry or you aren't.&amp;nbsp;I can count numerous times me and my&amp;nbsp;sister friend had&amp;nbsp;some of these same conversations involving food. Why? Cause that's what&amp;nbsp;Chunky Chicks talk about! LOL. I just happened to find this totally hilarious. Check it out and tell me what you think. &lt;br /&gt;

Not about curing cancer, world peace, or stem cell research. I'm up thinking about how I want to be a vegetarian. I know, so random. But I seriously have been wanting to become a vegetarian for quite a while now. I mean, meat just doesn't excite me anymore. Well, not like it really did in the 1st place. It's just meat. No but seriously, I don't mind not eating it. Sometimes I just crave veggies. The only thing that I seem to really want right now is veggies. I just wish I had access to more veggie recipes. Other than the way daddy served it, I don't have too many different ways to cook vegetables. But I know I can get online and find something. Just the other day I wrote a post about Bisarra. It's a traditional Moroccan bean soup. I love it. However I love it with fresh sardines. I swear that is the best meal EVER!!!!!! So yeah, I guess you wouldn't call it vegetarian since I CAN'T give up seafood. Not possible at all. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
One of the hardest things is easing this information to my friends. Well to my new friends. That's the only thing about being in Morocco that I hate. I have friends and I care for them dearly but the truth is they don't really know me. And I find that so many of them make assumptions about who I am. In particular this one friend who I shared my desire to lose weight. He really annoys me because anytime I don't eat he thinks I'm starving myself. That pisses me off. I mean every big girl isn't always thinking of food. Just like everyone else sometimes when you're sick you don't get hungry, or if you have a busy day or just being plain lazy and don't feel like cooking. It just pisses me off and I feel like I'm always explaining. UGH!!!! &lt;br /&gt;

(Random) I miss being able to share certain aspects of my life with someone. No judgement. But I can't always call my friends cause it cost. Plus they never call me so.....&lt;br /&gt;

Back to the post*** Like dude, I like me. I think I'm beautiful but I want to lose weight. Simple as that. But because so many people think that all fat people look down on themselves and hate their bodies, he thinks I have a complex. Bugs the hell outta me. Can't a chick just want to lose 90-100Lbs and look healthier and sexier? Finally, I'm doing something that makes me happy. Finally, I'm getting my body healthy the right way. Finally, I'm learning to follow through. As far&amp;nbsp;my plans for this weekend, I think I'm heading to the south of Morocco. It will be a good change. I love the north but sometimes I enjoy seeing the people of the south. I can't explain it you just have to experience it. And maybe I'll take another walk or 2, it wont hurt. &lt;br /&gt;

But of course almost doesn't count. So this means on January 30TH, I will hit the gym. No break for me. I have a good excuse but it's still an excuse. This week I was extremely sick. Although, I was sick on Monday I still managed to get 40 minutes of gym time in. I did about 15 minutes of Cardio then I hit the weights. This was actually my 1st time really weight training. Maybe, I needed it. This means my Monday planning was down the drain. But I must say, I feel awesome today (Friday). I would like to give a lot of credit to this recipe &lt;a href="http://prettyftw.blogspot.com/2012/01/world-foods-ginger-fix.html"&gt;Click here&lt;/a&gt;. The ginger really helped calm my symptoms and completely took away my cough. Aren't natural foods and medicines the best?&lt;br /&gt;

I don't have a spouse to share my body with for that extra workout (wink wink)&amp;nbsp;but I definitely take advantage of walking partners. It's OK not to have a clear destination. Just put on some comfy shoes and go. Call up a few girls friends (guy friends too)&amp;nbsp;and make the best of good weather. I did this last week with a good friend after work. I wanted to do something after a long day at&amp;nbsp;work but had no clear, set plans. He suggested we just walk. We did and ended the night with a small snack, nothing heavy. There you go, exercise and a light dinner. Sometimes you just have to make those calories WORK! On Wednesday I'm sure you could tell I was in a bit of a huff. I often just get so tired of hearing people make an excuse as to why some one is beautiful. Just say "Hey, I think you're beautiful", is that so hard? Well I would love to have your opinion on the post &lt;a href="http://prettyftw.blogspot.com/2012/01/wednesday-rants-things-men-say-to-fat.html"&gt;Things Men Say to Fat Girls&lt;/a&gt;. I'm beginning to think I'm turning into a tree huger. I guess that's not a bad thing. And lastly, due to my illness Thursday was a bust. No Zumba happened at all. I came home from work and had no energy. Due to my lack of eating. Being sick just makes me lose my appetite. Anyway, I came home, finally ate something, then crashed. So as soon as I finish these post I will beheading to my 7TH session in the gym. Oh, if I wasn't sick this week this would be my 8TH (sigh). Well, let me start off by saying it isn't a dish. It's actually a drink. This drink is common in places like South Korea, the Caribbean, and even the Democratic Republic of the Congo. I was first introduced to the weird flavor of ginger while living in S. Korea. In Korea, ginger is very common. It's used in food as well as for drinking. Since I've been living in Morocco, I've been reintroduced to the spicy root. I have a few Congolese friends who love to introduce me to their culture. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"&gt;On&amp;nbsp;the evening of January 1st, I was invited to a dinner party to&amp;nbsp;celebrate the new year. I felt a little honored because I was the only foreigner invited (lucky me). Everyone was from the D.R.C. As I was helping the only other female&amp;nbsp;present cook, I noticed she was shredding the ginger. I asked her what it would be used for. She explained it would become a drink that is usually consumed before dinner. Well of course my next question was why before dinner? So after she explained that&amp;nbsp;it was good for coating the stomach I just sat back and watched. Once the drink was completed I was given the 1st taste test and I must say it was darn good. I wanted a second glass immediately. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"&gt;Here is what I noticed immediately after dinner was over. I HAD TO USE THE POTTY! And not #1 (LOL, OK, too much info). It's strange how some of us can eat and it takes a day or 2 before we use the bathroom. I'm certain that isn't healthy. So I say that to say this. If you have a problem in that area, the recipe I will provide below is definitely for you. If you need a boost of energy, this drink is for you, and if you just want to add something different to your pallet, this drink is for you. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

It has many healing qualities such as: calms&amp;nbsp;the upset stomach, for the relief of bloating and gas, soothing any scratchiness&amp;nbsp;in your throat (it really helps),&amp;nbsp; in the treatment of allergies, and many more. &lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;u&gt;Ingredients&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;2 to 3 Ginger roots&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;3 liters of water&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;2&amp;nbsp;cups of fresh squeezed juice. I prefer mango and orange&amp;nbsp;(powdered can be used)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;3 tablespoons&amp;nbsp;of sugar (not sweetener)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"&gt;Big bowl (for party)&amp;nbsp;or container to stir or shake&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;u&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;Directions:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Peel the outer layer of the ginger root. With your shredder take each root and shred. If you prefer to use a food processor no problem. Once you have all your root shredded, gather it into a ball and squeeze into a small cup. To insure you get all of the juices. Dab the ball in a little water and continue squeezing. Repeat this about 4 to 6 times. If a few chunks of ginger happen to land in your juice, don't worry, it wont hurt you. Pour this into your bowl or container, along with your 3 liters of water and freshly squeezed juice. Add the sugar and stir or shake. This whole precess takes about 6 minutes. Put in the freezer to chill or pour over ice. I prefer it chilled.&amp;nbsp;It is definitely a tasty after a workout. &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;/tbody&gt;&lt;/table&gt;Today is Thursday so I wont be hitting the gym. Instead, after work I'm going to head straight home and begin my Zumba workout. At the present moment I only have Zumba Express. This particular workout DVD is only 25 minutes long. To make this light workout work, I will double up and get a 50 minute work out. I've been sick all week and only made it to the gym on Monday. I wanted to go yesterday but my body was not hearing it. Plus all my friends kept urging me to stay home and rest. Anyway, tonight will definitely be a Zumba night and I'll be ready to hit the gym tomorrow bright and early. Yes, I missed a day but not out of pure laziness. So tonight I'm going to make it up. Wish me luck!!!!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
For those of you who have a normal workout routine, try something different. Put in a new DVD, go for a power walk, bike ride, or just dance your heart out to some nice tunes in your living room. every little bit counts. And who says it's all work no play?&lt;br /&gt;

Well I've actually been on the market for a few years now. Wow, that was really hard to type. Any who, I find the dating scene really strange here in Morocco. But that's not why I'm ranting today (I'll save that for another post). I'm ranting because men can be very....how do I put this nicely? STUPID!!!!! Although I am comfortable in my skin, I often get annoyed when men mention my size as a pick up line. I'll give you a few examples: (1. I love a woman with a little meat on her, (2. If I take you out can you cook for me on the second date? You must know how to cook, (3. I like big girls. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean if you're talking (interested)&amp;nbsp;to me and trying to take me out I already know you like big girls or at least you like me. Why must you advertise it? What makes men think we like this? Are they reassuring our beauty? Are there that many big women who aren't sure if a man is interested in them? So we need validation by immediately stating our size is OK with them? As you can see this subject really boils my blood. I truly hate those comments. Don't get me wrong, compliments are nice. I just wonder why they have to be accompanied with a size validation?&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;/tbody&gt;&lt;/table&gt;I never hear men saying "Ooooo, you're so cute and skinny, or Can I take you out, cause I know you can't cook?". Yes, as stupid an&amp;nbsp;tasteless, as that sounds just imagine what I (we) hear as a larger woman (and in my opinion I'm not that big I just have an extremely large "asset" behind me). But I digress. Men,&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;there is nothing wrong with giving a "chunky chick" a compliment. I promise you it wont hurt your pride. Your friends wont think you are less of a man and the world wont come to an end. Just simply say "You look beautiful today". Was that so hard?&amp;nbsp;I say this to let women know, it's OK to accept compliments. And I understand those days when you just want someone to&amp;nbsp;tell you you're beautiful. But you don't have to accept a half sincere compliment.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The next time you hear something like the above stated comments, please in a polite manner correct him.&amp;nbsp;Use phrases like this: Thank you but I think I'm a&amp;nbsp;beautiful woman period,&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;I can cook but my size doesn't validate that, or I like big women too! I'm sure that last one will throw them for a loop. Sometimes you have to tell people how you want to be treated. Ladies stop being so hard up for a compliment that you will accept anything. Know that you are beautiful whether you're a size 4 staying healthy or a size 28 getting healthy. How you feel reflects on the outside and be careful with what you allow to be put on the inside. That goes for food, supplements, words, including&amp;nbsp;good and negative energy. And men, &lt;span style="font-size: x-large;"&gt;just do better!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

I often rely on over the counter supplements like B12, B12 Complex, or a Women's One-A-Day. The question was about the&amp;nbsp;plant with the most&amp;nbsp;natural and safe amount of caffeine.&amp;nbsp;The supplement they were referring to was&amp;nbsp;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;Guarana. &lt;/span&gt;Apparently this plant has the most natural caffeine available. It is often used in soft drinks as well as energy drinks. Guarana contains diuretic properties and can be used to cure irritable bowels and regain strength. The best thing about this plant is it's natural and the caffeine comes straight from the source. Many energy enhancers are synthetic and concocted in a lab somewhere. It's good to know that we can still count on nature to give us all the nutrients we need. &lt;br /&gt;

For those of us who need a little energy boost now and then, I encourage you to make a stop at your local drug or health food store. Pick up some guarana and feel good about becoming one step close to a healthier, more natural &lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;YOU&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;

You can even prepare one of your regular&amp;nbsp;meals by changing some of the ingredients.&amp;nbsp;Try switching out your ground beef for ground turkey for a quick meal of spaghetti or completely removing meat from the dish altogether. This gives room for more vegetables to be added. You wont even miss the meat.&amp;nbsp;So stop making your significant others suffer at the table. Whip up something healthy and satisfying dinner&amp;nbsp;and they wont even notice they're eating healthy. Also dinning out is still an option, discipline is the key. &lt;br /&gt;

Sometimes you will even notice your "skills" improving as you lose weight and gain more stamina. Sex is cardio and resistance training. All that work in the gym isn't for nought. Show off some of your skills. Find a park, open field, stadium and take advantage. If there is a public stadium or university stadium near your home you've hit the mother load. Get your partner and have your own personal field day. It's fun and it definitely works. Run the stairs together, make it a competition. 45 minutes of stairs burns about 8-900 calories. Jackpot!!!!! Try running the length of the field against one another. Bring a soccer ball, or football with&amp;nbsp;you.&amp;nbsp;You're never to old&amp;nbsp;for a game of catch or a soccer match. And it's just the two of&amp;nbsp;you, you&amp;nbsp;don't have to be a professional.&amp;nbsp;Also, take a walk on the unbeaten path. Walk a trail that's new to you. Go hiking together or with a group of friends. And in the summer there's nothing like a good water fight! Head to your local stores kid section and go crazy. Water guns, balloons, or kites. Grab anything that will get you outside. Enjoy nature, burn a few calories,&amp;nbsp;live care free if only for a few hours.&lt;br /&gt;

Here are a few pictures. There were plenty of sweets but I practiced self control like never before!!!! Also I can see my progress in these pictures.
