HORROR is BACK with a BANG!

It is fun to get chills delivered, when you know it is "just a film".

In the case of "Obsession" we are obsessed with the subject. Like the Calvin Klein scent by the same name, which one can recognize easily on the dance floor.

"Obsession" has great PR, editing, timing and has been shot by Taylor Clemons on Arri Alexa 35 with Panavision Ultra Speed lenses.

Congratulations go to Writer, Director and Filmmaker Curry Barker.

We love the look of the film, acting and speed. We all know Psychopaths and other strange people.

There are zillions of campy and classic films focusing on the subject.

Below is a "list" of films about people who "can't let go". Not as recent as it claims, but one get's the idea.

Stalker/Obsession movies Movies about creepy stalkers and obsessive people. I update this list everytime when I have watched a new movie.

The 56th Secretary of State American scholar Dr. Henry Kissinger passed at 100 years of age.

Kissinger helped create the World after World War II and never minced words.

His career is exceptional. The Nobel Peace Prize Laureate kept his Accent & inspired many migrants including reviewer Alexander von Roon.

John Brew's Book "Realpolitik" refers to a quote Kissinger's by Generalfeldmarshall генерал-фельдмаршал Albrecht von Roon, who wrote:

“No one eats with impunity from the tree of immortality.”

Kissinger offered interesting and controversial views over the years & kept his brilliant mind.

Or for Winning the Golden Trophy over Judy Dench? Does it have to do with not saying enough against disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein?

A bittersweet Affair

Congratulations to the Winners of the

Academy Awards 2021!

Sir Anthony Hopkins made me cry, which was calming and comforting, after having lost so many.

It is therapeutic to let go of the tears.

The Ensemble in "The Father" acts brilliantly.

Set design, lighting, sound editing, wardrobe, furniture etc. work as if Alfred Hitchcock, Roman Polanski, Brian dePalma were involved.

My emotional reaction is equal to experiencing David Bowie, David Lynch, Elvis Presley, DMX or consuming the "Hamilton" Performance Stream.

"Promising Young Woman" disturbed me to the core & reminded me of Roald Dahl's oeuvre.

While #Stillwaiting impatiently for #Notimetodie, expectations were not exactly "Sky High" at a time, when a lot of work is being screened on a telephone instead of a THX equipped Imax Mega Screen.

Do Politics, Status, Gender, Sexual Preferences, Origin sell tickets #Zeitgeist & is being a #Goldmember of the Mile High Club like 007, so #1968 ?

Meeting Sir Anthony Hopkins for "Fracture" 2007 at the Four Seasons Hotel was a nice addition to having had Martinis with Omar Sharif #Madrid while "watching Girls go by" or hanging out with Pelé #Bloomberg.

The Oscar Winner gave his Co Stars the Stage & chatted about his Hobbies.

I thought then, Hopkins would focus more on painting, but many great Acting parts follow. I adore him #Westworld.
