Wolfram|Alpha-Computational knowledge engine

amit.cser@gmail.com (amit chatterjee) — Sat, 10 Dec 2011 06:07:00 +0000

Wolfram|Alpha introduces a fundamentally new way to get knowledge and answers—
not by searching the web, but by doing dynamic computations based on a vast collection of built-in data, algorithms, and methods.
Wolfram main aim to collect and curate all objective data; implement every known model, method, and algorithm; and make it possible to compute whatever can be computed about anything. Our goal is to build on the achievements of science and other systematizations of knowledge to provide a single source that can be relied on by everyone for definitive answers to factual queries.
Wolfram|Alpha aims to bring expert-level knowledge and capabilities to the broadest possible range of people—spanning all professions and education levels. Our goal is to accept completely free-form input, and to serve as a knowledge engine that generates powerful results and presents them with maximum clarity.

Keys of Wolfram:-

1.Wolfram Mathematica:-
The first was Mathematica—the system in which all of Wolfram|Alpha is implemented.
Mathematica has three crucial roles in Wolfram|Alpha. First, its very general symbolic
language provides the framework in which all the diverse knowledge of Wolfram|Alpha is represented and all its capabilities are implemented.

2.A New Kind of Science:-
Beyond Mathematica, another key to Wolfram|Alpha was A New Kind of Science (NKS). Many specific ideas from NKS—particularly related to algorithms discovered by exploring the computational universe—are used in the implementation of Wolfram|Alpha. But still more important is that the very paradigm of NKS was crucial in imagining that Wolfram|Alpha might be possible.

Wolfram|Alpha technology based on the following concepts:-
1.Free-form natural language input
2.Dynamically computed results

Now i take an example, 2x+3y+5=3
This is an equation of line After insert this equation in the box and click on search button.

After waiting few seconds you got the result of this equation of line with the whole description.

This is a good way to compute or learn maths easily. Now use this site and leave your comment.how it is useful and how its computational result satisfied you?

StarDash - An Android Game.

amit.cser@gmail.com (amit chatterjee) — Tue, 20 Sep 2011 05:14:00 +0000

OrangePixel's upcoming retro platformer called StarDash which would be heading to Android. Well we now have an official release date for StarDash which is September 22nd.Orange Pixeldecided to do something huge: develop a phone game the way it believed the publisher would if it ever bothered to enter the sector.
StarDash is OrangePixel's answer to the question of how Nintendo's games would look on an Android device, specifically GameBoy titles.Using gameboy style graphics and sounds for extra memories of old-school running and jumping. It’s a little experiment to see if I could create such a game in the way the big N would do it. A lot of care has been put in the level-design and the simplicity of it all.
The game is now completed on both Android and iPhone !
Gameboy is consumed with Wii U and 3DS right now, so the chance that they’ll release any of their old school classics on Android any time soon is very small.
Orange Pixel has incorporated some newer game mechanics in StarDash, such as three star ranking per level and special unlockable temple levels (find the hidden keys). This Android game comes with three worlds consisting of 9 levels and 1 hidden temple level, making it 30 levels in total.
Stardash, a super simplistic and obviously retro-inspired platform game, is the end result of this experiment.

Dropbox Application

amit.cser@gmail.com (amit chatterjee) — Thu, 21 Jul 2011 06:38:00 +0000

Dropbox New App For File Transfer Works On iOs, Android N BlackBerry OS.
The Dropbox app on the iOS syncs with the native browser based interface or the
Windows/Mac app. You can create folders and even share particular folders with
otherDropbox users.

Dropbox even offers us an option to directly e-mail the
file and choose an application with which to open it, provided the file has multiple apps that support it.
User interface-wise, Dropbox can’t be simpler as the iOS app is divided into two panes. On the left hand, it displays all the files and folders. On the right hand, we have a
preview window which previews files of various formats, be it Mp3, Word, PowerPoint or PDF. So, those people who do not have an in-built document viewer
of the ‘iWork’ or ‘Documents 2 Go’ sort, can at least

amit.cser@gmail.com (amit chatterjee) — Mon, 18 Jul 2011 08:17:00 +0000

When your computer starts, Access Denied prompts for a valid username and
password. The program cannot be bypassed. It can support up to 450 users, and includes password encryption, color highlighted log files, and additional hidden security measures.

Access Denied is a simple, but effective security program for Windows.
It allows you to lock out unauthorized use of your computer. While away
from your computer, you can rest easy knowing Access Denied is reliably
protecting your computer and data. Also Access Denied can save your
laptop or desktop PC from thiefs.

Unlike other security programs, Access Denied can't be bypassed by boot
keys (Ex-F2,F10,F4, F8, etc). These keys call the boot menu giving access
to the system. It may be enough to just use the option "No Boot Keys
" from the submenu "Security". Nevertheless it is highly recommended that
the boot from diskette be disabled and also set a password in the hardware
BIOS.
