And another year had passed. My so-called long and winding journey continues and here I am again jotting down things I wanted to change / eliminated from my well being. In other words, here's my list of "Promises" (to be broken) for the incoming year with a twist. And when I say twist, I meant different, thrilling experience noone has ever imagined I would brag about.

Here's my bucket list before I die (inspired ala Helena's Promises A.K.A. Scent of a Woman Korean TV drama series):

10. To have my own family, children, a dream house, and see to it that mom and dad will be living with me.

9. To be a soloist choir member. Not to boast or something, I always been pushed in my schooling days (even in the corporate world) to join a singing contest but it wasn't really my passion. I most wanted to sing for a couple who are about to take their sweetest vows. *Kilegs*

8. Be famous. I'm quite a shy person and most often, I'm misunderstood as a snob. But hidden inside my heart, I wanted to be well known. Whether be a disc jockey or a blogger with at least a hundred readers.

7. Treat my family to a shopping spree. Of course, my treat.

6. Travel around the country and internationally.. with my family.

5. Be debt-free. Did I need to further explain myself?

4. To be in a company or firm that I could settle for the rest of my life.

3. Lose weight ideal for my height. I won't go on details for you guys might drop your jaws open.

2. Ride the bike frequently. Yes, ladies and gentlemen. I'm one of the few people in this planet that doesn't know how the bicycle works. We (I mean my brother) had a mountain bike but I'm just scared of falling on the ground.

1. Be happy at all times.

Phew! Believe it or not, it took me 5 hours to think about all of these! Darn it. :))
Guess I should have another life to fulfill all of these. That's why, I needed to live a meaningful life. So guys, I encourage you all to have your own list to have a reason to leave everyday. Whether you don't like how you look, how things are getting in your way, or how your boss treated you, or perhaps, you just don't like your life. Take a closer look unto your list and be reminded that it's not important what others think you are but what matters is how you live your life the way you wanted it.
So, be happy! Happy new year! Good vibes! God bless all of you!

Revamp

Hi. For the past few weeks/months I've been uber busy. And when I say busy, it means 12-hour working hours a day 5 to 6 days a week. Phew! It's kinda frustrating especially when I look at the mirror - dark circles became evident, wrinkles started a cult and meet up on my face, and more importantly, I just look tired. Thank God I'm not used to having acne and other skin problems. And now that I'll have at least 4 hours a day, I might wanted to take care of my skin and well being. (Especially now that I've learned I gain pounds as being tired diverted to starvation - and it's as if they had a connection! :) I'll have promises for myself now that I've gained half of my life - to focus on what pleases the eye and what the inner self could appreciate.

Itineraries? Together with mom and a younger sister, we have a so-called girl's date last Tuesday at BioEssence and do some pampering. I was very excited I forgot to took out some valuable pictures. Ah... But as they say, there's always a next time. And that time might be next week. :P

As for my blogging what-knots, I'll focus on ME, ME, and only ME and make sure it'll be entertaining (as I am making fun of myself), the world around me, and some products, places, and experience I've gone through. I'll try not to spam-post...but mind you, I'm not promising anything!

This is what keeps me going. A three-some friendship! Hahaha.
And I tried out being a guy, date girls and having a fling.
I am eyeing on Bella, the Administrator, but let's see how far would it go. Hihi.

Good day, dudes and dudettes wherever part of the world you maybe. Let me hear you say,

Okay, that's some kinda breathing and sanity exercise first and foremost. Surprisingly, I'm still alive. Maybe not the living I wanted (right now) but the life I must live. Eventhough nobody dares to ask where have I been and what I'm up to, I'd say it anyway. I've gone through a major self-know-how-and-what focusing on my hectic 12-hour work schedule, church services, and self well-being.

To make the story short, I'm just tired of my usual news-oriented slash music slash entertainment slash random post just to say I have a post thingy thing. As the Chowking commercial says, "I want change".

I wanted to change this self from nobody to somebody out of everybody. This may sound silly but I mean it. I literally look at myself in the mirror and assess what I am seeing. A 25-year old fatty who looked average, baggy shorts and shirt, and a messy updo hairstyle. Spell pathetic? Capital M and capital E! Put them together? Me.

I remember a painful experience to a must-be a happy day. It was the holiday season. My brother who works for a motor company treat me and my family some tickets to Enchanted Kingdom. There is a ride named "Swan Lake" that has a concept of boating in it. Only, a swan-looking boat is being used. I am super excited to be with my younger sister as I picture the incoming scenario. We pedal from the starting to the end point sweating. Just like any other pairs who keeps on reiterating their excitement with their loved ones. The tenant whisper in my ear,

"Ma'am, I'm sorry I guess we cannot continue this because of overloading"
I felt the redness of my face and the coldness of my hands as a quietly jump off the boat.

"Wala ka pala eh, overweight ka pala, haha!" A man's voice proudly says. As I turn his way, I saw my dad. I
hold my breath. I hold back my tears. This supposedly be a happy day I won't easily get offended. C'mon, what is this compared to discriminating stares you get from PUVs whenever a small ass won't fit an inch or two of the seat? What is this compared to the pain you felt because you don't get to date your crush on the prom because he chose someone who's fit and could turn heads? And what is this compared to the feeling you felt whenever employers turned you down not because of your outstanding credentials but as you believe, on how you look?

THIS IS NOTHING. Mom's been comforting me.

I stared at the image in the mirror the second time around. 25 years is long enough. Don't let it be 26. And so, my quest for wellness begins. Let's see how far am I going to from here.

He did it again. The 8 time WBC Welterweight Champion of the World, Saranggani Province Representative Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao defeated the four time champion Sugar Shane Mosley. The fight took 12 rounds of mind-bugging, blow by blow intense action brought by these two great fighters.

I filed for a sick leave. Only to glance upon the royal wedding of the year. Thank God I'm blogging anonymously! :P April 29, Catherine "Kate" Middleton tied the crown, I mean the knot, with Prince William. With the title Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the couple prove that fairytales do come true. Kate is a simple commoner brought to life by two airlines staff parents by the name of Michael and Carole Middleton. They sent their precious daughter out of Scotland at the University of St Andrews. Only, to meet her Prince. And the rest is history.

Then the beatification of the Blessed, Pope John Paul II came. Most Catholics awaited this event to pull off the name Saint John Paul II. Miracles do come true.

And just recently, the most unwanted person died in the name of Osama Bin Laden, not to be mistaken by Obama Bin Laden. A report says that he dragged a woman to camouflage himself outta militaries seizing him. Wrong move, touch down. He'd been shot in the head and some says his body's been drowned in a certain body of water as Islamic culture dictates. Speculations of his death brought thousands of TPS (Tweets per second). Other stories move in and out of the picture like the bloody bed he used during the haunt. Some were skeptical, and some were grieving. But can President Barack Obama risk his hard-earned dignity with unconfirmed reports of Bin Laden's death? Think. Hard.

Finally, I've been suspended to attend our choir church service. I have mixed emotions over a reason of my inability to attend a prior meeting whereas my duties was, I believe, to sang praises for the Lord. I really don't know if I should shout for joy because I have a free week for me to savor or be pissed that people were just so narrow-minded. Hello guys, our family reunion at the gorgeous land of Zambales came only once a year and it just so happens that it was scheduled the same day my obligation with the Lord. Ok, rules are rules, who am I breaking it? I shall do whatever my heart desires this entire week and maybe played some videoke with or without someone. Haha!

You've been fat all your life. You're in a company where petite is a goddess. It is where different couples resides. Both were of same body mass indices. At a local store, you are the full sized gal ordering a menu for five. You consume it all. Then at the end of the day, you sob at the couch watching a love story movie and think what causes your prince charming's delaying tactics. You look at the mirror and saw a ~~drum~~ woman, of your age crying of hopelessness at work, love, and life. You called out your friends' rescue and together, you pity yourselves all day long. You're stuck in a world full of weight critics, perfectionist, and racists. Your mom's your only fan.

Then luck turn upside down. You've won a lottery to an all expense paid five star hotel accommodations in Palm Springs. You knocked out the pool with your oversized summer get up when a guy come up to your group. Those six-packed abs...Sumptuous! Those lean waist..to die for! Those tight biceps and frontal....ehem.. perfect! You've learned that he's been talking to you and not your super hot friend. You've been dying to talk but nothing came outta your drooling mouth.

There came a date, the second, the third, and a series of getting-to-know-each-other phase. The more you go out with this dream guy, the more you realized that you and he were not meant to be. He's a successful guy and you're a frustrated plus size fashion designer who doesn’t even had the money to launch her own designs. After a day of pampering yourself of your comfort foods, you saw a familiar face at the restaurant. It is the same guy you've been hooking up for the past few days. Only, with another fair complexioned, sexy woman in her prettiest. You mocked all the bad mouthed words you could dig into your cerebellum. Really, it hurts being played. But what hurted the most is the fact that "your guy" is closing a deal with this girl who happens to be a company president. And you ruined it all. Misery loves company, isn't it? You say your pitiest sorry and run as fast as you could. Insecurity eats your self up. You've got nothing and ask God why He's been treating you like that.

You literally walked out of his life. You finally got to talked to someone who can finance your designs. THICK MADAME. You've launched a clothing line for the plus sized women who wanted to look fabulous or at least decent. With the tagline,

"I don't have a problem with what I weigh, it's just that you have the problem with how I weigh"

you've garnered the trust of many. Little by little, your dreams come into a reality.

But something's missing. And being a discontented earthling, you fly a thousand miles to fulfill what your heart desires... to love and be loved. Nothing has ever changed, your guy is just waiting for your dramatic comeback and to live happily ever after. You've locked yourselves with kisses and passion you've long longed.

And yes, it's just a movie. Phat Girlz, or the Pretty, Hot and Thick Girlz. Is a dream movie or as they say, a chick flick. You don't get to win an all expense paid in a five star hotel and bump into a gorgeous hunk who prefer obese women over those Bikini Open like superbods. And you couldn't fly a thousand miles or two just to say you most profound and sincerest I LOVE YOU to the man of your dreams. You're an Asian. An Asian woman who supposedly be the leanest of all the race but here you are, blogging and pretending not to be outshined by others. Preferring to review a 2006 comedy film you've watched during a television airing rather than reiterating you own pathetic life. Nevertheless, it is just the same. Only, the one you've watched has a happy ending. But nevertheless, I'm still pretty!

Way back, Queen Elizabeth I is married at the age of 21, and Princess Diana at the age of 20. Here in the Philippines, all major network including ABS-CBN, GMA Network, TV5 and the rest will cover the entire preparation, wedding, and other iteneraries of the most awaited event.

This is the tag line of the U.S. television show aired here in the Philippines. The matchmaker, Patti Stanger, together with her staff finds a bachelor or bachelorettes millionaires or those well-off individuals in search for a date or a better half. They will screen prospective dates to their millionaires based on its attributes: physical (for an obvious reason), monetary stability (to ensure that they're not just wanting a date for money purposes), emotional (to prevent insensitivity) and even zodiac signs (whatever).

The Staff

What I like about this show is Patti's keen observation to details, sense of humour, and being spokenly straight-forward like,

"Hey, you're not just ugly physically, but your personality stinks, get a life!!" and "I don't like you" or "I think we'll get along pretty well"

Some millionaires wanted a date or a better half to be too good to be true but some were as serious as hell they wanted to marry at that very moment. Some date prospects for the millionaires were gold diggers, physically and emotionally unstable, and others. I'm so loving it. Wish they have the same kind of show here in the Philippines aside from Mula sa Puso and Malparida. LOL.

So that's it, I just wanted to say I like the show as much as I like singing out loud with the gleeks in Glee and imitating to be the America's Next Top Model. Next in line: True Beauty.
