Due to transport strike today I canceled my lessons for today and the students were understanding enough to concede. So I'm dedicating this day to household chores, cleaning and later on I will press the mountain of clothes,thankfully my husband did the shopping and so there's one less task in my to-do list. But even when I do things I always leave our TV tuned in to Christian channel and this particular program midnight cry captured my attention. Of beautiful, young people recognizing and acknowledging the caring and humble GOD. How could some people be apathetic about the Great Love of GOD ? The All-Powerful Almighty GOD Who created all things, HE gave HIS only Begotten SON to die for us. How could some people ignore HIS Great Sacrifice ? Honestly, I didn't get it before 1983 when I entered into my personal relationship with the LORD Jesus. But since then, HE has always guided and ordered my life-steps and it has always been an upward climb for me and our family although the path has not been always easy.
But this Praise, is very beautiful both to GOD, to all the angels and saints in heaven and even to our own souls and spirit. If it matters in heaven and to GOD , how can some people spend much of their time in unimportant things ? I wonder.

Auchan Porta Di Roma:A Mall In Rome Italy

Shopping mode: Christmas is approaching and we already need to start shopping for gifts for our loved ones. As expected, the mall especially the kid's toys section of the Auchan supermarket where we went was full both of shoppers and people,young and old! Auchan is one of the more popular malls in Rome center because it is surrounded by many residential areas. It is accessible by bus also, but since its location is at Rome's Entry Point (Porta Di Roma ) it serves as a major landmark between the vast and more isolated area and the beginning of the city. Parking spaces for private vehicles are standard, much like the kind of underground parking that they have in a US mall where one has to make a lot of twists and turns before he can find a convenient space and the next thing to do is try to remember the exact spot where you parked. Finding parking space can be stressful especially on weekends when most people and families go out together. As it is, Auchan fairly a small shopping center with only three levels. But I realize that one of the universal things is the mall setting, where they sell formal things in an elegant sense and stimulate the buying mood of the customer by providing many different forms of entertainment like the music, the designs of the store, even the behaviour or manner of the vendors, promotions, catchy ads etc. On this shooping day we spent almost a hundred Euros just for gifts for 4 kids. I think for the adults, we will have to find a cheaper option. For me, a mall like Auchan is just another destination to enjoy and shop with our family especially, for this CHristmas season.

There's a saying, when America sneezes, the whole world catches a cold. This is just another way of saying that we are generally affected by what happens in America and I think it's logical that we get concerned over the events there, like the coming Presidential elections in the year 2012. And among the contenders, there is one woman who dares to stand out and represent the critical convictions that will confront the American electorate,and may consequently make her or break her mainly as a politician. This early, many opposing forces in peculiar forms have already come her political pathway,like a little boy (apparently,trained or instructed by his lesbian mother to make a remark against Bachmann's anti-homosexuality stand). Who is Michele Bachmann? She is a Republican Congresswoman of a small Minnesota district.She's a tax lawyer who formerly worked with the IRS (Internal Revenue Service). She believes that global warming is a hoax (I second the motion), and that BArack Obama is a socialist at heart and an anti-American (an issue to be expounded). She is against the teaching of evolution (monkey business), and she is also against gay marriages (love the person but not his sin).I guess,she is a very Brave dare-angel woman, unlike a 'typical' political candidate who might be willing to hinge his political platform on popular surveys. Her campaign is founded on quite unpopular personal principles,which converts her first political attempt to the U.S. presidency into a very risky battle.If I were an American,I would not only vote for her but I would also campaign and labor for her Presidential victory. In my opinion, Michele Bachmann is the rightful US President.Most Presidentiables would play on what American voters would like, but she dares to set the standards not based on her own.

I always deliberately choose to watch only positive message programs.Things that will fill my mind only with positive information as it is a vital choice on my part.Our mind is the greatest weapon and most treasured part of our life and we should be wary of what we allow into it.In my case, I make it a choice not to watch crime or violence-filled films,even programs that promote promiscuity,fornication or negative conduct like those shown in Desperate Housewives.I very seldom read tabloids or newspapers because I avoid negative news.Of course,it is inevitable to see unpleasant or ugly scenes sometimes and I admit I also watch musical or wholesome shows or as I mentioned in my previous post,I'm also drawn to gossip just because I like watching the latest in fashion or updates even in technology,and the lifestyles of the rich.But with music,I also deliberately changed my taste, I choose positive music which in most cases only Christian music can deliver.Who ever said that only secular chaotic godless rock concerts can offer entertainment and enjoyment?I only wish that the length of time on my digicam afforded me to record also the part where the enormous audience was shown,practically almost the entire stadium was filled (sorry, all I know is that the venue was in California) .Anyway this youth concert is an annual event by Harvest Ministries of Pastor Greg Laurie,and this is where the top Christian musicians are featured.I really love each concert and it overwhelms me everytime I wish more, younger people can appreciate clean and positive and empowering music. It really helps the mind and our outlook in life,even regular listening to it.

I 'm happy to have been able to attend 'mass' last Sunday with my family.Besides the very special debut celebration of Cristina,the message on faith by our brilliant Pastor Michael Hopkins (from Missouri USA) It has been another very meaningful Sunday for me as we couldn't attend church as often as we would like due to different reasons. But thankfully this last Sunday filled us spiritually and physically .We had a rich fellowship with our churchmates who are like our second family. Even the kids enjoyed and played so much,by the start of the third week they will have to perform a Christmas song 'Silent Night' and so I have to train my daughter as they will only have one Sunday to rehearse before they show off. But the sad note is that we are going to miss our beloved Pastors Hopkins because they will be going back to their homeland USA,for seven months which hopefully passes quickly for all of us.We're really satisfied with our church,we are fed foremost spiritually and second,physically also and helped in times of (prayer) needs.

Bagolaro Restaurant in Rieti

Two weeks ago,we attended a baptism of my niece's baby daughter. The reception followed at a splendid restaurant one hour away from Rome.Bagolaro is an agri-tourism restaurant located at the foot of a Rieti mountain,and in the midst of olives plantation and greeneries.They also have playground for kids and swimming pool within their premises,and spacious parking areas.Nevertheless, the best qualities of Bagolaro restaurant are both their impeccable service and sumptuous meals. There is a headwaiter that coordinates perfectly the assignment of each of his subordinates,when to remove or serve the dishes , where to take what etc. Even the waiter themselves were very corteous in asking each guest if they have finished or if they want more,and they have a particular way of holding or serving the plates.I 'm pretty sure that everyone completely enjoyed everything,from the food to the ambience.And Bagolaro contributed a lot in making that day of baptism a memorable one.

I have just decided to revive this long-frozen blogsite of mine.The reason why I deliberately stopped posting for such a long period, is for my other blogsite to catch up with the number of posts with this one.But I realize it's useless doing so.To re-start, I 'd like to introduce this very nice orange building along Queen Margaret St. (in Italian; Via Regina Margherita) which I've always admired.
Today I thought of bringing my digicam just so I can take a photo of anything which interests me like this one, situated right across the tram station where I usually wait for the tram or mini-train.Actually Rome is very rich in culture which is also evidenced by the design and structure of most buildings.The Italians must have deliberately chosen not to embrace the modern building designs,just so they can preserve their cultural heritage.There are some new stylish buildings but they don't outnumber the archaic ones. One can't tell whether it's a residential building or a commercial building as there are many residential villas similar to this one,all over Rome and Italy. But this street is part of a commercial area here in Rome,and looking closely you can see the flag of Saudi Arabia,which brings you to conclude this must be the Saudi Arabian Embassy.
As it is,one of the things I'm fond of, is staring at beautiful heritage buildings,of which Rome alone,is full.

Worship Sunday. The first time we attended worship service in a long time.It has been a nice fellowship as we had a guest Choir The Maranatha Sanctuary from Illinois USA.We were so blessed with their repertoire which included 'We Will Remember'. In this world filled with negative issues, it is often difficult to find reasons to be thankful. 'We Will Remember' is both a challenge and a reminder. A challenge to confront or change the undesirable condition by voicing out your gratitude to our GOD. A reminder, that in spite of hardship or problem, there will always be blessings to thank HIM for like your health, the love of your family, the free air that we breathe,your job or even the strength to do your job, all the natural provisions from GOD and so on, and so forth.I thank GOD for this worship Sunday and for all the tomorrows yet to be blessed again.PRAISE GOD.

HARD ROCK CAFE' ROME ITALY

We celebrated our sixth year wedding anniversary yesterday at Hard Rock Cafe' at the Rome tourist belt area.Of course Italy is known for its delightful and fat-free cuisine but due to budget constraints we opted not for a fine dining.But the entire day was blessed with cheers and simple fatty dishes by Hard Rock but nevertheless served with kindness and sweetness by the young and handsome waiter.That is also good enough to make up for what might still be lacking to call it a memorable wedding anniversary.We were with my girlfriend Lala with whom I was teasing Alessandro our waiter just for fun.We finished our dinner with yet another greasy dessert hot fudge brownies.After that,we proceeded with some photoshoot outside the restaurant.As the American embassy is just a stone's throw away from Hard Rock, I also had my photo taken with it in the background.Well there's one more reason to Praise My GOD today.

I've always treasured the American dream especially when I was still living amid misery in the Philippines.I am one of the millions worldwide who harbor the same dream in the heart.The economic greatness of America is the primary attraction to many foreigners,and this economic greatness is owed mainly to the Christian culture that promotes freedom and the pursuit of happiness. By happiness, I mean, satisfying one's material (or otherwise) desires legally and correctly. That is maybe why majority of leading companies in the world( like McDonald's,cosmetics &drug companies, even film and music industry),technological advances and top billionaires, have their origin in the US.Not only in the commercial sector is America succeeding,but the US is also the major provider (85% of the total missions worldwide) of charitable mission works and outreaches.It is the origin of the main and biggest Christian broadcasting networks in the history of mankind, through which people from many different nations- especially those who don't have the possibility of knowing the gospel of Christ like communist or muslim countries,are blessed.
And I'm sure there are so much more that the democracy in America affords not only the Americans themselves but also millions and millions of people in many parts of the world.

These times see the US as a country gradually veering to socialism and over the years many religious leaders have been sounding the alarm.In Obama's speech shortly after his inauguration to US presidency he categorically declared that US is no longer a Christian country,but a unification of citizens even from different cultures (hispanic,muslim,European etc.). thereby allowing the cultures/beliefs of migrating foreigners dictate the past and future of this country.I also learned of Obama's recent order banning the media from taking photos/videos of the oil spill caused by BP, within 65 m of distance otherwise they will be fined.I think USA has already changed so much in that they removed prayers from schools,they also prohibit 'Christmas' greetings and decorations during Christmas holidays (I hear now they're going to name the Christmas celebrations in honor of some pagan festivities that coincide on the same date),they have removed Thanksgiving (and calling it something else just like what they want to do with Christmas) they might be also actively opposing National Day of Prayer.They allow same-sex marriage even going as far as suing anybody who would dare offend the third sex, what with the hate campaign act that justifies homosexuals, they legalized abortion and heavier taxes on private businesses.One of the initiatives to hinder the advance of socialism in the US is to sign up for a commitment to pray. Prayer was the same power that brought down the Berlin Wall of Germany.And it will always be the same power that will change our life and history.

TINIKLING IN ROME ITALY 2010

We attended the celebration of Philippine Independence Day last June 12, at Manila Square here in Rome, and we enjoyed so much not only all the typical Filipino delicacies (mostly for free, just like in a town 'Fiesta'), but also the company of all the filipinos in that highly festive occasion where the TFC channel also held a show hosted by Pokwang and Randy Santiago.But we weren't able to watch anymore as we left before their arrival, late in the afternoon.We didn't want to expose our little daughter to too much sun. But it was the first time we attended the Philippine Independence Day here in Rome. It was also funny to see some foreigners, muslim-looking and also Italians appreciating our festivities and our food. There were many different booths set-up to promote varied services like Filipino real estate companies,Filipino Banking institutions, legal assistance, food stands etc. There was also the 'halo-halo' under the heat of the sun--:The most surprising thing for us that day is that our new Ambassador to Italy Mr. Romeo Manalo (2010) is such a humble person that no one would have had any idea he was an Ambassador, he seemed to be a 'down-to-earth' character and so we felt comfortable for a 'shot' with him.My daughter especially enjoyed all the native cultural performances like this one with Tinikling, there was also a dance number with 'banga' and the 'Igorot' dance.

PENSIVE DAYS

These past few days I haven't been able to post anything due to lack of ideas.It's really a shame considering the host of information available everywhere,in the media, on the internet, in public places etc. And the other important thing I'm considering is shifting jobs. The teaching job which I have now is also very good in the sense that it's very flexible to my needs as a mother.For me it's also stimulating to be able to travel around Rome regularly, especially because admittedly Rome is infinitely a beautiful place to explore (85% percent of teaching is done in private or outside the school premises, like companies or private homes). So I really enjoy the sights from the bus. There were even times that I've been tempted to getoff and take photos,if only I have enough time . ..The other good consideration in this job is that I get to be in contact with many highly professional people or students. The job is really stimulating on one end,very light. And you have no boss that monitors behind your back or orders you anything. My main concern is that I lose so much time in travelling.I usually have to travel a total of 4 hours for a lesson of 2 hrs. As it is,time is gold. At the moment I'm considering some good options,but I'm still committed to this job because the students have already paid for the entire course duration 20 hours or, until mid-May. May GOD go before me always,in my careerpathing.

A TEMPTATION TO GOSSIP?

Let me share the stories of my students, as they're really inspiring.

Engineer CT I call him Engineer although he finished what we can consider a vocational technical course, he landed a good job in building technical maintenance where he worked for a short six months, and then he tried selling fruits in the marketstand of his then-future mother-inlaw.Eventually he was employed in Rome airport which also consequently opened the door to his job now with the international company that manufactures heavy transportation vehicles like ships, trains and airplanes. Not only is he the second man in all the technical operations of his sector but he is now also being requested in the financial division which can pave a way for him to come in direct contact with government elites like the Italian Minister of Transportation and the like.But the beauty of it all is not in all the good breaks that GOD is raining on him,but it's in his heart. He confessed that he wrote a gratitude letter to his former technical school and professor for the knowledge that they imparted to him.And he is also planning to pay back by recruiting the students of that school to his company. As a person he is humble and of tender heart and always smiling and extrovert. He is a MAtt Damon look-alike. May GOD continually seal HIS Blessings in his career and his family in the Blood of our LORD JESUS.Amen.

MEET MARCO TRAVAGLIO

I was trying to work on enhancing my blog for revenue purposes, contemplating on uploading more impersonal videos, when I stumbled on the video clip of the bravest and most admired Italian Journalist Marco Travaglio, here on his recent political theatre performance. He's not really a comedian nor an actor nor a performer, he's a journalist or opinionist with extraodinary guts and exquisite articulation skills which made him worthy of the "Freedom Of The Press" award given by the German Press.I say, with exteaordinary guts because he dares to reveal facts (supported by documents and evidences) that expose the corruption and evil of the more powerful, rich and influential government figures including the Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. Marco Travaglio must be the only Journalist in Italy who is able to do a one-man act in a theatre normally dominated by performing artists, and go as far as capturing a substantial audience for a number of nights. He is also part of a political talkshow where he is able to continue with his mission, despite all the opposition and pressures from the government against him and the show. What's interesting to note about him is that he's soft-spoken and so simple in his ways. GOD BE with him always.

Voice of Lady Narrator: The show goes back to the vision of Italy from “Bribery Issue” til today. A story which is sadly true, subjected to trial, put into action but forgotten. Through a brilliant and detailed narration, Travaglio is able to hold the public for more than three hours, owing to the 'mix' of media commitment and bitter sarcasm.

MT: The first republic died by drowning in bribe, The second goes out with the blood of tragedy, but nobody remembers anything anymore.History is a teacher but nobody ever learns anything.

Reporter: In stamp paper, and now.. first, TV, and now theatre. How is the theatre experience and what have you learned from the art scenes?

MT: Well, with the art scenes as you have seen, there was little,in the sense that I am seated and narrate my stuff, so it was simply to carry out the narration of the events of these years on which I wrote so much , perhaps in a more relaxed way. On TV you have to say three sentences hoping that they won't jump on you nor speak louder than you. In newspapers, you always have the problem with space. With books, maybe, you have to constrain one to read while, instead, here, one sits on the chair and after three hours, maybe he knows more than he used to know before. You have the possibility to narrate in more relaxed terms without interruption, without anxieties, that which happened in these 15 years. It's a sort of the game of connecting the dots to make all the figures come out.If you see all the stuff together, see all the photograms together, a good film comes out and maybe it helps you to understand the link between the photogram A and photogram D. While, instead, if you see all spread out, you are not able to understand the overall design. . . ..

Reporter: You fill the theatre for a good while, now.Did you expect this success or, is it the funniest thing or the most important thing that you have learned from the stage?

MT: But, I, at first I couldn't believe when the Corvino brothers of the Promo Music proposed to do this,we can call-”show” of civil commitment I resisted for one month I said “No” and then at the end, after getting weary I said yes. I put down this text which now has changed much even because in the meantime, in the last two years everything happened. Then when.. ..when we have done the first open rehearsal here in the Roviera court, some 1000 people came, to boast. So, there I realized that, maybe it was me who undermined the problem, in the same way that there is such hunger for facts and news and connections, opportunities to understand, there are even people willing to pay for the ticket to come and have the balls hammered for more than three hours.And so, naturally, then you try not to be too hard and therefore, to insert ( or mix) serious and even dramatic stuff, with things that stir laughter even,if unfortunately they're all true.Because the people laugh when they hear the repetition of the things that Berlusconi said,but maybe many of those who laugh have voted for him and gave him a little gift . . …

I personally testify that my life has turned out for the better since the Truth impacted my heart. As it is,a life can only be truly changed from inside,out.I have personally realized that to change your future, you must first change your heart.

Snow In Rome Center

Today is the first time Rome has experienced so much snow- in so many years,I overheard one lady at the bar mention that it last snowed here in Rome in 1987.It also hailed slightly sometime last year or two years ago but just once.In fact some people went as far as greeting each other Merry Christmas,and some barmen and grown-ups abandoned their workplaces and took time to play snowball 'exchange'.I felt very awed and grateful to my LORDGOD again,as just some time ago I was feeling a bit frustrated for not being able to take my child to the snow.Then he took the snow to us.I JUST PRAISE MY LORDGOD.
Today also is another blessed day as I met with Marta my former employer, (amid the white snow) and she gave me additional workload which translates to more income.GOD BLESS US ALL,TREMENDOUSLY.

This Little Child-Who Would HAve Thought

The daycare school that my child is attending is holding its Christmas party on the 22nd this month.Every parent is requested to participate wether in decorating the mini auditorium, or cooking something or a stage performance. I have resolved initially,as most parents understandably or expectedly did, to take part in the eating and cooking part. But even before signing the commitment papers,the cooking paper was almost filled up and it was such a shame that only 2 parents committed to risk ruining their 'images' and do some act or singing part. To that,one nice mother suggested that I also do some singing or acting . . . If I must do a stage performance,I prefer to spread GOD's Amazing love by singing this very beautiful, timely song entitled 'This Little Child'. And I humbly ask everybody to pray for me,that I may deliver the Message of GOD's Great Love in strongest terms.PRAISEs BE TO GOD.

She is a very beautiful baroness,judging from her outward appearance you would opine that she's only 18 or twenty years old because she has the body structure of one,with long flowing,shiny black hair neatly kept back with her signature dark sunglasses.She is a perfect picture of beauty and elegance.But she is 54 years old and has two very beautiful children raised in London England, rubbing elbows with Princes Harry and William and the elite royal society and their acquaintances and friends.She jetsets through Europe{London and here in ROme} and America having residences in those prestigious territories. She doesn't worry about money,she can buy anything she wants.On one particular day, she spent more than a thousand Euros,shopping for signature items {bags,sunglass and silk clothing etc. . .} and her friend restrained her from spending more. Although there is no need for her to work and earn a living,she keeps herself busy by painting as it is her inborn talent. She is in the best shape of life,physically, financially and many other ways. May the LORD my GOD bless us with this kind of financial prosperity,as we Praise HIM for all the rest of the Blessings that HE continually bestows upon our family like HIS Health,Strength Peace Mercy and Grace.In the blood of JESUS CHRIST our GOD And SAVIOUR.Amen.To GOD BE The GLORY.

I guess, I was attracted to blogging mainly for the revenue it promised,second;to use this as an instrument to propagate GOD's Love and Grace to us.I can't think of a good third reason.Sorry.But today has been another blessed and great day as the rest that have just passed and for this,I always thank and magnify the LORD JESUS.

Pomegranate And Orange Trees

Patrizia's garden is located right in our neighbourhood,and the nice thing is that it's full of many fruit bearing trees and herbs that satiate our mouth. Pomegranate is a fruit that I've never encountered before in my life but I just learned that it also contains a lot of vitamins and minerals,as much as the orange fruit does. Patrizia takes very good care of the garden,as is obvious from the images.She also makes available for free to everyone, all the herbs like rosemary,laurel tree and basil. Her garden is also full of many different colorful flowers.
My visiting friends from the U.S, have also seen on a particular Rome street in another historical area, the long line of orange trees with ripe oranges
that have fallen on the ground.Or another area full of chestnut trees where the chestnuts were just being ignored by the people. It's a nice reminder to us,that Italy is a prosperous country,in GOD's rich Grace and Mercy.Praise The Lord. Amen.

Tips On Raising A Smart Kid

With so much changes going on in our today's world, our children are ever exposed to more negative influences,even worse,unheard-of acts.We, as responsible parents should take a deliberate and pro-active and defensive stance against this issue.And what better way,than to instill 'smart' attitude early on in their life.

1. There is no better resource in raising an outstanding child than the biblical principles.
We as finite human beings have our own limitations and fragility,and more often than we realize we unconsciously commit behavioural mistakes or offenses that our children pick up without us,noticing.So the Word Of GOD or the Bible, must compensate in areas where we fail. Proverbs:6 says to "Train Up a child in the way he should go:and when he is old he will not depart from it." This is particularly true wether the training is a positive or a negative one,what we learn from our first years is carried throughout our lifetime,be it attitude or experiences.Let's rely on GOD's Word to guide the path of our children by,introducing them early on to it {the Bible}.

2. Like Mother,Like Father..so is the child.
Be An example. No matter how hard you preach a sermon to your child,to try to correct him/her, if he sees the contrary in your own lifestyle and behaviour,most likely you are only wasting your energy.He will absorb what you show consciously or otherwise. So,be careful what you say and do especially in the presence of little ones and your child.

3. Give her the time of your day.
I can relate to parents,who have to work long hours and then come home to a place that still is filled with chores screaming to be done,like dirty plates {left in the morning rush,maybe?} and dirty mountain of laundry, and laundry that needs to be pressed, or to sum it up a total domestic mess.Sometimes,friends calling can still worsen the day's chores traffic --and then while you are trying your best to rush up the dinner so you can all go to bed early {because tomorrow is another day} your child will throw a tantrum to your get your attention. In this situation,we are tempted to ignore and shrug it up and try to finish what to our judgment are the more important chores.But your child should come first of all. Even in the midst of the seemingly domestically wartorn situation,when your child demands your undivided attention you should make her feel that she's the Priority and that she's the Most important.It's an opportunity for us to build up her self-esteem and self-confidence.Give her all ears even when she speaks,try to participate in her conversation. For a brief time,it doesn't hurt so much to 'neglect' domestic chores if the reason is loving your child.

4. Appreciate Your child. Pay her {Loads of compliments} even when she's just sitting and watching television.Find something through which you can throw her a compliment.Give her tons of hugs and kisses,touch maybe the strongest expression of your love,just as the original man Adam was created by the touch of the Potter's hand-unlike the rest of the creations which were made by the spoken word of GOD.

5. We are all GOD's children.No one child is superior to the other in GOD's eyes.And so,it should be in the eyes of your child.You should not instill ideas that may show her that she's superior or that others are inferior to her. I often say to my child,for example 'Bella is beautiful,just like you.'Or 'Bella is very kind just like you'.The only time that I say others are better than her,is when we see chubbier kids, I say she has grown more because she eats more. As it is,it's not so easy to feed my child or make her eat.
When other kids behave differently {negatively} explain to her why that gesture is not good,the same way that you must not directly and categorically accuse her with words 'you are bad' when she behaves unlikely {as many innocent children do} If you must reprimand her,don't humiliate her in front of others.

6. Be careful what she watches, on TV particularly.Our broadcast and print media seem to have run amuck or uncontrollable with information.In italian Tv for example,while we are watching a wholesome show, there would suddenly pop-up an ad unsuitable for kids, violent and sexual etc.And they don't seem to observe primetime rules,what they can show during certain hours of the day. Generally we opt for children friendly shows,cooking, wholesome, fashion, {but to be honest sometimes I can't resist watching gossip just because I like seeing the lifestyle of the rich and famous}.Otherwise we would be watching the children's educational and Christian programming by TBN Smile Of A Child or her favorite DVD films like Barbie series or timeless fables by Walt Disney like Cinderella and the like.

7. Dress her up very well wether indoor or outdoors,it gives her a sense of pride.When I was a little child,I used to feel inferior when I saw other children dressed up very well,and I,otherwise.

8. Instill in her a positive attitude by teaching her gratitude.To see the positive side of life,things to be thankful for Everyday.I pray out loud every night in her behalf,as if it was her, thanking the Lord JESUS for all the good things she received during the day.She's slowly picking that attitude now,in that on some nights she would recite the 'good things' of the day on her own.Amen.To GOD Be the Glory.
Well here are just some of the tips I realized on my own endeavor and from my own experience I hope that they were beneficial in many ways to many.GOD BLESS us all,Tremendously.

Dr. Mark Schwarzbauer & Couples' Day Out

Our church ICF (International Christian Fellowship) recently hosted a romantic evening for all couples, at the lounge in our church, with our guest Pastor Mark Schwarzbauer at the helm of the event, and I guess he and his vey beautiful and sweet wife Jill will be staying with us until the first week of October after which time they will be cruising across Europe until they return to Florida USA their homecountry.

Pastor Mark who is also a Doctor in Psychology, discussed the elements that enhance the marriage relationship and yes, even the sexual part within the biblical standpoint.We enjoyed the candlelit and sumptuous dinner graciously served by volunteer members,every table was reserved with the couple's names.

Once in awhile we stumble upon stories that are not actually uncommon but nevertheless,remarkably haunting.Stories of people's experiences from which we may gather life lessons ..

Meet Matteo Cambi, the young designer/founder of Guru, a clothing/accessory line that caters to the younger generation, now also a recognized brand in Europe and some countries in Asia like Japan. He was born 32 years ago in Carpi Italy. He led a short-lived multi-millionaire lifestyle that started out in 1999 when he first registered his creation 'Guru' and it became a success shortly thereafter. He took advantage of the personal connections that he gained from hanging out often in the most prestigious venues or discotheques where the famous italian personalities and celebrities usually go. He started giving out his latest personal designs saying that they're limited edition thus, convincing the rich and famous people to wear his line. From then on, his business began to climb the ladder of financial success until he was able to buy his own private plane and helicopter,private yacht, buy the nicest cars like lamborghini,bentley,ferrari porsche, mercedes etc. , and live in many luxurious residences and villas.He also spent 2M for designer watches. He hired the best and highest paid photographer to do the commercial photography for Guru,paying Euros 1.2M just for 2 contracts.But almost as soon as he started accumulating such enviable amount of wealth,he also at the same time got entangled in the web of drug and cocaine addiction thus started the embezzlement of the company's funds.He would spend as much as Euros 10,000. euros for a single meal (obviously in the most extravagant restaurants and hotels) even if he hardly consumed anything, as he recounted when one's body is stuffed with drugs he would not feel hunger.On one interview he shared that his most recent unforgettable memory was when he saw an Ad of the latest model of Bentley;he was very anxious to get it immediately at all costs; after making numerous calls to many different car concessionaires he finally found the one that can deliver the car in the earliest possible time,which was the morning after that particular call. He decided right there and then to take his private plane and flew directly to Rome and practically waited outside the car concessionaire until its opening hours.
His financial heydays met their end around July of 2008, when he was arrrested and charged with a number of cases such as fraudulent bankruptcy,fictitious formation of stock corporation,illicit allocation of profits and stock reserves,undeserving restitution of stocks,false declaration of assets among others.
Now Matteo Cambi who has just been released from prison, claims to be recovering from his drug addiction and slowly regaining his ground in the fashion industry. No longer able to afford a financially extravagant lifestyle, he has just participated in a reality TV show 'Tribu' set in India. As it is,his (former) lifestyle might be what most of us have been dreaming of, and it is perfectly understandable and acceptable.But hopefully, his story drives upfront the lesson of GOD's teaching to us;although money in itself is not evil;The love of money, is.
