EFCC Declared Kogi State Ex- Gov Abubakar Audu Wanted

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Former Governor of Kogi State, Abubakar Audu wanted for conspiracy, stealing and misappropriation of state fund.

He was declared wanted after he refused to respond to invitation by the anti-graft agency.
EFCC had attempted to arrest him in his residence in Abuja at 32, Sulaiman Barau Street, Asokoro, Abuja residence on December 11, 2012, but all attempts failed.

The move of his arrest followed a Supreme Court ruling of November 23, 2012 which dismissed the ex-governor’s appeal to continue to protract his corruption trial by EFCC.
Why is it that government officials don’t get judged in home country, its only in foreign country they get successful justice.
The governor should not even try to travel to United Kingdom because his case would end as Ibori’s case

About Scholarship The Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) is offered for international students who want to pursue Bachelors, Masters and PhD degrees in Korean Universities. The scholarship is aimed to provide international students with an opportunity to conduct advanced studies at higher educational institutions in Korea, to develop global leaders and strengthen Korea-friendly networks worldwide. Who is qualified to apply?
Undergraduate program Prospective applicants must meet the following qualification criteria;

Must be a citizen of the country to which the scholarship is offered, which also applies to the applicants’ parents.

Have graduated or will be scheduled to graduate from high school as of March 1st of the invitation year.

Must possess above 80% (out of 100%) cumulative grade point average (CGPA), or must be within the top 20% (out of 100%) in rank in high school.

Graduate program

The applicant and his/her parents must hold foreign citizenships.

Applicants who hold Korean citizenship are not permitted to apply for this program.

Applicants must be under 40 years of age as of Sep. 1st, 2012 (born after Sep. 1st, 1972).

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree as of September 1st of the selection year.
