Last year, my hubby predicted this wonderful couple was going to get married because of how lovey they were, always holding hands, arms around each other and hugging. They are an amazing couple, terrific people to know and obviously so in love. It was a privilege to photograph their wedding.

This was a really sweet session with little, new baby Sonora at only 7 days old. Her big bro was amazing also, at not even quite 2. With good reason, mom and dad are quite smitten. ♥
It was a bunch of fun photographing family portraits and then we got to play in the natural light for Sonora's newborn portraits alone. My favorite is the moon!

I loved this session. The love between these two sisters was evident. I am used to doing a little contriving to get siblings to show love to each other, but this was not the case with these two. Add the beautiful light and greenery at Shevlin Park and I was in was total bliss. ♥

First off, confession time... I have been so bad about blogging. It is definitely not one of my strengths, but something I am committed to improving on! This session was from February (See? I wasn't boasting about my lack of blogging lol).
Okay, so now onto the stars ~ this beautiful family simply having a great time in Sisters, OR. The kiddos were rockstars because it was chilly, but we made the most of it and the gorgeous fading sun. They were super fun -- and I love to have fun! :)

All about Mom... Moms are better than rockstars. Maybe not as famous, but definitely more amazing.

Okay, she stole my heart with that look. That was one of many fun poses! She just pulled them out of nowhere. Precious age and what an actress. I could do a whole page just on her!

One of my greatest joys in my career and life is getting to photograph newborns. From a business standpoint, I love that the creative process comes easily and I can while away the hours thinking of new prop ideas and backdrops, etc. But, more than that, I love working with them. From their sweet and wrinkly skin head to toe they enthrall me with their "perfect"... made exactly just how they were designed and destined to be by the one who knew them even before mom and dad got to meet them. ♥
