I've had some Buckinghamshire hand-made pillow lace for ages

but felt guilty about cutting it up

but finally decided to use this beautiful vintage lace

and I even aged it!!

So here it is (stitched under the crochet piece)

I've tried this and it works really well

Mix some walnut crystals into half a pint of warm water

(decide how much according to the colour you like)

Add half teaspoon gum arabic powder

and half teaspoon of Pearlex (antique gold gives aged look)

put all into fine spray bottle

you can use this on paper and/or fabric
