Last year(2009) the shilpostav, a crafts fair was held in Noida Uttar Pradesh,on the stadium grounds from 0ct 30-Nov8.Artists from all over the country had come here to sell their wares.The focus was on crafts from Uttar Pradesh,but craftsmen from other states were  seen doing  brisk business as well.

This beautiful artwork was seen at the fair  in  Surajkhund,north India,early this year.Isn&#39;t it lovely!I&#39;m not sure about what it&#39;s made of...me thinks it&#39;s made of POP(plaster of Paris)There was a big crowd  on that day,so we didn&#39;t ask the artist about this.Maybe it was made of some sort of clay...really can&#39;t tell,sorry.
