A Year of Cards continues with Spring Cards! We are playing with Kraft paper and the beautiful Basic Grey Picadilly line. I'm falling in love with the little flowers and feminine design.

Here is one of the cards we will create. Actually, as I write this, I have 2 more cards to create and I'm having an enjoyable time! Cards should be at A Place in Time by this Thursday.

Date: Wednesday, February 22
Time: 6:30p to 8:30p
Location: A Place in Time, Kailua
Cost: $20

This is the last of the prom photos (I hope!). There was a playground right next to where I was taking the formal photos so the kids just had to have a few on the playground equipment!

SU Pocket Silhouettes

I've been enjoying my birthday presents and haven't been creating! Today I thought I'd clean up the desk and get these extra pieces off my desk.

I recently got coerced into joining a Stampin Up swap where we had to use current SU products, with a very short deadline. I have very little current SU products but recently acquired this Pocket Silhouettes stamp set.

Since I enjoy my monthly tea swap, I decided on creating a tea bag holder.

With the left over after the swap, I created a couple of cards.

that held 2 little matching 2" gift tags.

Credit for the design goes to D. Griffin for the above 3x3 card I received in a 3x3 swap this past October. Isn't it beautiful!

For my birthday I received these beautiful Spellbinders Fancy Tags Three and used one of them on this card for my tea swap partner Jan T. The swap theme is Valentine's Day in colors pink and red but, as you can see, I didn't follow it. Hope Jan doesn't mind. I decided to use left over paper and stickers from my love class.

Tropical Flair Class II - March 7

Hi, Everyone!

As mentioned earlier, the designs of the Tropical Flair Class varies. Here are the other two designs that you can make in class. The pineapple one above and the "leaves" below.

Please excuse these pictures. They were taken in the car while on my way to drop them off at APT.

The February 9th class is full so I scheduled another class for March 7. You can find information about the class and supplies to bring here. The March 7 class will be from 6:30a to 8:30p. Cost: $20 at A Place In Time.

She thinks she's a princess. My dd actually saved her money and bought this dress herself (cuz there was no way I was spending this much on a prom dress). She was so excited and she does look like a princess. And I'm happy to say two years later (yeah, takes me a while to scrap the photos), she has worn it to another event and a friend has worn it also.

Really fun doing another two pages. This one used two photo collages from Walgreens. I just couldn't decide which photos to use so I used most of them. My dd and some of her best friends when she was a junior in high school. Unfortunately, all the other girls were seniors and left school. It was fun times!

"Tropical Flair" - February 9

How many times have you gone to the store to purchase a bag for a gift? Well, imagine making your own with a matching tag and post-it note holder!

"Tropical Flair" is my next scheduled class. We are using Dream Weaver's quilt stencils and will create a sturdy gift bag with matching tag and a post-it note holder.

Class Date: Thursday, February 9
Time: 6:30p to 8:30p
Location: A Place in Time, Kailua
Cost: $20

Please bring the following supplies to class:

Scor-Pal (a must!)
Tacky glue adhesive or tape runner adhesive
paper trimmer
pencil
scissors
3-4 daubbers or 2 craft sponges
Ruler
Crop-a-dile (if you have)

I got the really cool pleated ribbon in the clearence bin at HL. I think it was like 20 cents a yard. I was thinking baby pages but it works for this one.

LO share - paper is unidentified -- from a Mambi paper pack I believe. They had a pre-school "rah rah" camp to get the freshman excited about the university. As if they weren't already excited about being away from home and living on their own!

Look what I got in the mail!!

A BEAUTIFUL ensemble from my January Tea Swap Partner, Sandra from Texas. This lady is definitely gifted and talented!!

The optional theme was "celebrations" in colors blue, white or silver. Her talent just blows me away!!

Here is my two tea bags beautifully wrapped and personalized

"Handpainted Petites" has to be my all time favorite stamp set. This SU stamp set has been retired for several years, yet I still love it each time I use it. I finally scrapped. It seems like a really long time. Just got back from a retreat and wanted to post some layouts up. Enjoy!

An online scrap group I'm in has an annual retreat. This was the retreat a few years back in St. Louis. We typically show up a few days early for the "scrap retreat" to tour and shop whatever city the retreat is in.
