EA Outlines New Premium Download Content Strategy

New initiative offers paid "demos" prior to full game launches, say analyst.
Electronic Arts plans to offer extended downloadable demos for a price to players prior to the release of the full, packaged game, according to analyst Michael Pachter's latest investor report.

EA's Chief Operating Officer Nick Earl revealed the company's latest premium downloadable content (PDLC) strategy during a recent investor visit at its Redwood City studio, which includes charging a small price for an early look at upcoming titles.

The PDLC would be sold for $10 or $15 through Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, and would essentially be a very long game demo, along the lines of 2009's Battlefield 1943," Pachter said. "A full-blown packaged game would follow shortly after the release of the PDLC, bearing a full retail price. Mr. Earl believes that the release of the PDLC first limits the risk of completing and marketing the full packaged version, and serves as a low-cost marketing tool."

In a follow-up conversation with IGN, Pachter says these paid "demos" will act as a sort of beta test for the company, saying feedback received will shape the final retail product.

Think about Battlefield 1943 as the prototype, so a full (but short) game experience for a reasonable price," he said. "At the same time, an expanded version of the game will be under development for release as a packaged product."

However, the idea is that if the PDLC gets favorable reviews, it will build word of mouth for the boxed product. If the PDLC has issues, they can tweak the packaged product to address those issues, improving the final product before release," he added.

Pachter said he wasn't sure if EA plans to include the PDLC content with the packaged game, adding that the content could be a "prequel" to the full game so it can continue to be sold separately. The strategy is expected to launch during the company's fiscal 2011 year, which begins on April 1, 2010.

Update: Electronic Arts has responded to Pachter's report. The company told IGN it has not officially announced any pricing details for any projects, and that traditional free game demos will remain free.

EA is working on a number of projects for delivering premium content to consumers before, during, and after the launch of a packaged-goods version of the game," said Jeff Brown, VP of Corporate Communications. "EA SPORTS, EA Games and EA Play are each experimenting with download strategies that deliver fresh game content in formats players want to experience."

To date, there is no set pricing strategy for the entire EA portfolio. And many of the proposals include free-to-play content on models similar to Madden Ultimate Team, Battlefield Heroes and Battlefield 1943," he added.

"None of the proposals call for charging consumers for traditionally free game demos."

Jaimee Grubbs Feels Tiger Woods Owes Her An Apology

Feb 14, Jaimee Grubbs, the alleged mistress of disgraced golfer Tiger Woods, had demanded an apology from the philandering golfer for making her believe that she was the only one with whom he was having an extramarital affair. In a recent television interview, the Los Angeles cocktail waitress has expressed that she would like the World No.1 golfer to apologize to her for keeping her in dark about his relationships with other women.

The 23 year old waitress implied that she did not understand the reason for Tiger Woods’ insistence on continuing their relationship if he was already involved in sexual relationships with so many other women. At the same time, Jaimee Grubbs, who was allegedly involved in an illicit relationship with the champion golfer for a period of three years, also revealed that the entire Tiger Woods episode has left her extremely hurt as the ace golfer had made her believe that she was the only woman in his life apart from his Swedish model wife. Moreover, the cocktail waitress also talked about the golfer’s better half Elin Nordegren and added that she has no clue what to say to her former lover’s wife but accepted that the way things transpired between her and Tiger Woods was indeed selfish.

Although it seems that the entire sex scandal involving the champion golfer, has left his alleged mistress somewhat shaken, Tiger Woods seems to have been gradually emerging from the controversy, with his release from the Mississippi sex rehabilitation center. Tiger Woods and his wife are reportedly working on their relationship in a bid to save their marriage.

A Tale of St. Valentine’s Day

Every year, on February 14th, people everywhere send flowers, candies, and cards to their love-interests or “Valentines“. Ironically, it is not really known for sure where this ritual of love began. There are three saints, by the name of “Valentine” which are recognized by the Catholic Church, and all of them have been martyred.

One story tells us that Valentine, who was a priest in Rome during the Third Century, gave his life in the name of love and romance. Emperor Claudius II outlawed marriage for young males, because he felt that being single made a soldier better able to focus on victory than having a wife and family. Since only single men were expected to fight in wars, the Emperor felt that men were getting married to avoid going to war. Valentine felt the law was ludicrous and continued to perform marriages secretly, for the Christian men to whom marriage was such a sacred expression of their love. This story goes on to tell of how St. Valentine helped the Christians, who had been imprisoned by the Romans, escape from the horrible Roman jails where they were being tortured. Valentine was finally found out and was imprisoned himself. While in the jail, it is said that Valentine fell in love with the jailer’s daughter, who came to see him in his cell. He was reported to have sent her written tokens of his love, and ended them with the signature, “From Your Valentine” a saying which is still used today.The Christians were also said to have visited Valentine and left him little notes about how much better love is than war. According to legend, the Emperor actually liked Valentine, until Valentine tried to convert the Emperor to Christianity, at which point Valentine was ordered to be put to death.

It has also been said that Valentine’s Day goes back even farther and was traditionally a pagan tradition. Apparently, according to legend, the Roman’s celebrated this day in honor of the goddess of marriage, and queen of all the Roman gods and goddesses. One of the rituals included all of the women of a village putting their names into a box. The men of the village would draw a name out, and these two were paired off for a year. It is also said that the Romans celebrated February 15th as Lupercalia, which was in honor of the fertility god, Faunus. This celebration was performed by the men of the town sacrificing a goat, wearing goatskin, and running around slapping the females with small whips made of strips of goatskin dripped in blood. The women liked this and wanted to be hit with the whip, as it supposedly ensured fertility. Often, these couples ended in marriage. This tradition was said to have been changed by the Christian church because the “coupling before marriage” was morally degrading.

According to the pagan version of Valentine history, Emperor Gelasius changed the celebration to February 14th and named it as a Holy Day in honor of Valentine, instead of a day to honor the pagan gods or goddesses. This allowed the Christians to discard the moral uncleanliness of Valentine’ Day, so that they would be allowed to celebrate it as well. During the Renaissance, when love and romance were abounding so freely, Valentine’s Day took on more of the Holiday of Love that it has become today.

Valentine’s Day is no longer recognized as a religious holiday. The Catholic church took it off their calendars in 1969. It is a far more commercialized holiday than and history denotes, sadly, just as Christmas is becoming. In spite of this, many societies still frown on Valentine’s Day because of it’s history in Christianity. In India, it is said that some people threatened anyone who celebrated any Christian Holidays, including Valentine’s Day, and young couples who were caught in public on Valentine’s Day were assaulted. In Saudi Arabia, it was forbidden for Muslims to do anything at all to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Whether it was truly a pagan holiday or a Christian one first, does not seem to matter much now. Throughout history, Christians are the ones who seem to have risked and given their lives to celebrate love. For pagan and other religions it seems that Valentine’s Day was always simply a celebration and good time. Both versions of the story link it back to the sanctity of marriage.

Whichever version of the story of St. Valentine that you are most fond of, today this is a day set aside to show feelings of love, and to be romantic with your “Valentine.” Whether you choose to celebrate with chocolates and hearts, or dinner and wine, remember the stories of where this day came from, of those who died for love, and those who celebrated fertility and marriage. In the middle of all of the red cellophane and little message hearts, is a history, that is far greater than the money to be made by department stores by those who wish to celebrate “St. Valentines Day.” Use this day to show your love, not just in what you buy, but in who you are.

That is a Tale of Valentine’s Day. How much of the tale is truth, no one will ever know for sure. In honor of Love, and Romance, and all that this day now entails, I will be writing an article everyday until February 14th. I thought it would be good to start out with a little history of where this holiday came from. Beyonce’s Brazilian show ends in gunfire

Rio Di Janeiro, Feb 14 Beyonce’s show in Brazil was rocked by gunfire. Singer Beyonce fled from the stage, as the Brazilian police started gunfire on a group of teenagers, who were said to be the members of the local gang. The Brazilian police said that the local gang started shooting at people who were waiting for taxis, to go home, after the concert.

The singer’s show in Brazil was marred by violence, when a local gang outside the Parque de Exposicoes venue began shooting at fans leaving the arena, according to Britain’s Star Magazine. In response to the shooting by the local gang members, the police also opened fire, but fortunately no one was injured in the whole incident.

The 29-year-old Beyonce was not at all hurt in the incident, as she fled from the stage, when the shooting started. Later she was also mobbed when she went sight seeing at the famous Christ The Redeemer statue. Apart from Beyonce, Alicia Keys was also present in the city, to shoot a music video, in the slums of Brazil.

TCS to hire 30,000, 70 percent freshers

New Delhi: Tata Consultancy Services plans to hire 28,000 employees in India and 2,000 abroad in the financial year 2010-2011 and about 70 percent of recruitment will be freshers. The company is currently seeing an 8-10 percent growth in revenue from domestic operations and is eyeing a double-digit growth in the next two years.

TCS CEO and MD N Chandrasekaran said that the company will hike salaries of its employees in the coming fiscal, but did not give details, reports Financial Chronicle. TCS, has not hiked wages in the current fiscal, but employees have received 150 percent VA payouts in two consecutive quarters - second and third quarters of FY10.

"We are on a path to hire 1,000 people. We have already hired 300," he said, replying to a query on hiring plans for the current fiscal. In Q3 of FY10, TCS had made 7,692 net additions, compared with a net addition of 320 in the previous quarter.

Asked about the extent to which India would be affected by the U.S. move to slash tax-breaks to outsourcers, Chandrasekaran said the matter is not an immediate concern. Also Chandrasekaran said, "China is a tough market for IT firms and the company was seeing business opportunity in Europe." Chandrasekaran said the company had signed a few large deals as well as a number of smaller ones. "The financial services sector will drive growth. We expect good growth from retail, pharma and utilities," he said.

Auto driver turns web entrepreneur

Chennai: An auto rickshaw driver from Chennai, M Samson has studied only till Standard-VII, but understands the medium of internet and online banner advertisements better than many local businessmen available in the society.

Samson runs an advertising website named as NetwayAdvertise.com. Talking to Satrajit Sen of AlooTechie, Samson said, "I started this website mainly for local businessmen who can't advertise in print or TV due to their high ad rates." Samson charges Rs.500 a year for hosting a display ad. Currently, there are about 15 banner ads running on the site and with that rate, he earns around Rs.7,500 a year from his online advertising business. The expenditures for the portal include a fee of Rs.2,000 per year for site maintenance and upgrading the domain registration, and a payment of Rs 60 to the webmaster for creating and uploading each banner ad.

It was not an easy journey for a local auto rickshaw driver to learn about the internet medium and the ways of earning money through that, but the ability to learn new things and earn more money helped Samson to reach where he is today. According to Samson, he was first introduced to the world of internet in 1997 by a traveller from Japan who taught Samson how to access and use Hotmail so that he could communicate with his foreign clients, whenever they would want to visit the city. Gradually, Samson became familiar with emails, and also came to know that news and information can be gathered from internet. In 2006, a British Airways co-pilot, who was Samson's client then, saw him accessing hotmail and gave him the idea to advertise his services on internet. "Initially, I couldn't understand how one can advertise on internet. So, my client from British Airways explained to me the concept of a website and how it could be used to communicate across the world. I asked him to help me in setting up the site and he was the person who went back to London and designed the website TukTastic.com for me," Samson said. [TukTastic is a play with two words Tuk-Tuk, which means an auto rickshaw, and fantastic.

Once the site was launched, Samson started getting a lot of queries on email and SMS from travellers. "Though, I can't recount the numbers, most of the queries came from the foreigners. But gradually Indians were also catching up to the number of queries. Presently, I get between three to five queries every day," said Samson. Later on, Samson told some of his businessmen friends about TukTastic and explained the global nature of internet, some of them became interested and wanted to advertise their business as well on internet. But they didn't know where to go. "I saw this as an opportunity to earn money and thus launched the online advertising site NetwayAdvertise.com to help my friends," said he.

Now with Internet becoming one of the fastest growing medium to connect with people across the world, many people may try to follow the path of M Samson and try to do something different in life.

Melbourne: Many girls are more interested in their mobile phones than their men as a survey revealed. In a survey of 4,000 women living in Australia, carried out by British pawnbroker Borro to know their most treasured possessions, four in every 10 women said they would be lost without their mobiles, but would happily go without a man in their life.

The study claims that besides mother and mobile, women treasured their friends more than their men, reports The Daily Telegraph. Majority of the women surveyed consider their mothers to be their most prized possession followed closely by their photographs and then their mobile phone.

The survey's results showed the changing focus of what is important in many women's lives, said Anne Hollands from Relationship Australia. "I think it fits within the fact that we are very focused on our own lives these days," Hollands added.

Other items which made it to the list of most treasured items in a woman's life were diamond rings, pets, laptops and hair straighteners. As part of the survey, when the women were asked whether they would dump their boyfriends for money, a large chunk said they would consider doing so if offered more than $1 million in cash.

Katie Holmes wants a tattoo

London, Dec 29 (IANS) Hollywood actress Katie Holmes reportedly wants to have a tattoo to show her love for superstar husband Tom Cruise.
The 30-year-old, who has three-year-old daughter Suri with Cruise, is desperate to get an inking to prove her devotion to him, but he is unsure whether to allow for the needle work, reports fametastic.co.uk.

“He’s desperately trying to talk her out of getting the tattoo,” said a source.

Holmes came up with the idea after seeing the etching her friend Victoria Beckham had to mark her 10th wedding anniversary with soccer ace David earlier this year.

London, Dec 29 (IANS) Pop diva Madonna has reportedly paid 6 million pounds for a horse ranch.

The singer splashed out the enormous sum for the estate, which includes 30 acres of land and is situated in the Hamptons area of New York State, reports contactmusic.com.

“Madonna is thrilled the ranch is now hers,” said a source.

Madonna bought the Wild Ocean Farm ranch from designer Calvin Klein’s ex-wife Kelly.

It is currently being used to train show horses, and Madonna was only allowed to buy the ranch on the understanding she kept it as a working equine centre.

The singer who is a keen horse-rider is also believed to be interested in a 1.5 million pounds adjoining plot of land and is making enquiries into buying it so she can build a mansion there.

London, Dec 29 (IANS) Hollywood actor Russell Crowe was full of Christmas cheer during the festive season and he handed a homeless man a plush coat to help keep out the winter chill.
The “Gladiator” star was filming scenes for new movie “The Next Three Days” in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, earlier this month when he learned a popular down-and-out known as ‘Radio Man’ had travelled to the city to catch a glimpse of the shoot, reports imdb.com.
Crowe immediately showed his generous side and handed the vagrant a warm coat with a furry hood.
“Apparently, Radio Man loves Russell so much that he went all the way there just to stand outside the set,” he said.

Google’s AdMob Acquisition Meets Opposition from Consumer Groups

Is Google simply buying its way into the mobile advertising market via its $750 million acquisition of AdMob? That’s what two consumer groups allege in a letter sent to the FTC today, as the organization continues to review the deal.
Consumer Watchdog and the Center for Digital Democracy (CDD) write: “Consumers will face higher prices, less innovation and fewer choices. The FTC should conduct the appropriate investigation, block the proposed Google/AdMob deal, and also address the privacy issues.”

The groups are concerned both about what they perceive as ongoing anti-competitive behavior from GoogleGoogle, as well as the vast amount of data that the AdMob deal makes them privy to. As an example, they write, “Data about competing smartphone users and applications, gathered through the Google/AdMob advertising network, could give Google information about its competitors that would be advantageous in marketing its new smartphone [Nexus One], as well models using its AndroidAndroid operating system.”
It’s no secret that data is at the heart of what Google does, and where it’s going. Look no further than two recently announced early stage projects — Google Public DNS and SPDY (a potential alternative to HTTP) — to see how far these ambitions reach.
Is Google’s plan then to capitalize on all of that data to both serve better ads and design better products (ala mobile)? It would seem so. Is that anti-competitive or just good business? I lean towards the latter for now, but how the FTC handles the AdMob deal could be a good barometer of how Google’s able to extend its reach in the future within the limits of regulators.

Gooding Jr, 41, is reportedly being eyed for the high-profile role by several Hollywood producers, who are vying to be the first to make a film about the sensational revelations in the New Year, reports dailyexpress.co.uk.

As soon as the Woods story made headlines, the battle has been on to dramatise the scandal for the screen.

“It makes a great movie because people love the drama of seeing someone really successful fall from the top and then scramble to pick up the pieces of their life. It proves that even the world’s greatest athlete is human just like the rest of us but the movie needs to be made before the public loses interest in Tiger so the race is now on,” a leading Hollywood producer told dailyexpress.co.uk on condition of anonymity.

Woods, 34, shocked everyone when reports about his alleged affairs with 14 women came out following his accident Nov 27 where he crashed his car into a fire hydrant and a tree outside his Florida mansion. It was also reported that he had been attacked by his Swedish wife, 31-year-old former model Elin Nordegren, prior to the crash.

Woods, who released a statement admitting “infidelity” earlier this month, could face an expensive divorce which could see his wife of five years walk away with more than 169 million pounds — almost half his empire.

After various women came forward with accusations about Woods, who last year earned an estimated 69 million pounds from winnings and endorsements, he now faces a probe by US taxman over reports of cash payments to his mistresses.

He could also be investigated over his alleged links to high-class call girls and money paid for sex.

In a recent statement Woods said he was taking “an indefinite break from professional golf".

Fort Hood shooter shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ before shooting

Fort Hood, Nov 6: Fort Hood shooter who infamously shot 13 people and injured dozens apparently shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ before starting his shooting spree.
‘The thirty-nine year old devout Muslim gunman, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, shouted the phrase ‘Allahu Akbar” which is Arabic for “God is great!” just before he began his shooting spree at Fort Hood military installation yesterday’, according to the base commander, Lieutenant General Robert Cone.
Contrary to initial reports, the heartless shooter is alive but has not yet been investigated yet by the police and army officers, as he is on a ventilator. “He is in a stable condition,” an army medical spokesman said.
However the same can’t be said about his victims. Some of the victims were shot multiple times, and out of the 10 injured victims, 6 were in critical state and were taken straight to the ICU for treatment and monitoring.
Internal shooting at a place that the soldiers call ‘home’ has shaken many. “I’m pretty shocked and bewildered,” Spc. Eric Blohm said, “Going to war and experiencing combat overseas and then … to have your sense of security shattered, that’s just kind of unreal.” “I thought I was more worried about my daughter going over to Iraq than here, just doing training in Texas. She just got there yesterday,” said McCarty, mother of a solider.

8 injured in Orlando’s Gateway Centre shooting

There has been a mass shooting incident in downtown Orlando on Friday at the Gateway Center and at least 8 casualties have been reported. The injured have been rushed to the hospital. Police officers have reached the scene of crime and are bringing order into the shooting scene. The Orlando Fire Department is also helping in the rescue efforts. The police also said there were multiple victims involved.
A 911 call came in around 11.30 a.m. local time, according to the Orlando Fire Department. The caller reported that there was gunfire on the eighth floor of the high-rise building.
According to a spokeswoman, at least eight casualties were taken from the building. Four of the injured are in a very critical state and while the condition of the others is not yet known. The spokeswoman also feared that there might be some more victims inside, which are still not rescued.
Other details are still awaited. It is still not clear what initiated the shootings and the main motive behind it. The gunman who is responsible for the shootings is still at large and hasn’t been arrested as yet.
According to latest reports, the office building is under lock down.

Pneumonia kills more children than any other disease. Every 15 seconds it claims another child. Two million (twenty lakhs) children (less than 5 years) die of pneumonia every year. This is when diagnosis and treatment of pneumonia is widely available and affordable, says experts on the first-ever World Pneumonia Day on 2nd of November 2009.
“Pneumonia is the leading cause of death in children worldwide. Pneumonia kills an estimated 2 million children every year – more than AIDS, malaria and measles combined” says Professor (Dr) Rama Kant, the World Health Organization (WHO)’s International Awardee 2005 and Head of the Department of Surgery, CSM Medical University (upgraded King George’s Medical College - KGMC).
Pneumonia is a form of acute respiratory infection that affects the lungs. The lungs are made up of small sacs called alveoli, which fill with air when a healthy person breathes. When an individual has pneumonia, the alveoli are filled with pus and fluid, which makes breathing painful and limits oxygen intake.
“Pneumonia can be caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi or chemicals. Pneumonia can be prevented by immunization, adequate nutrition and by addressing environmental factors such as enforcing smoke-free laws and patient-safety practices. Pneumonia can be treated with antibiotics, but according to the WHO, less than 20% of children with pneumonia receive the antibiotics they need” says Prof Kant. “Recently Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP), Pneumonia in immuno-compromised states like diabetes mellitus and AIDS, has caused resurgence of this serious problem” adds Prof Kant. “This can occur at any age and is irrespective of gender. Nosocomial infections (hospital born) are most of the times resistant to antibiotics and have a high mortality. The infections in early stage in such situations might respond to recent, much broad-spectrum and expensive antibiotics but late Pneumonia are commonly resistant and have high mortality. Use of infected endo-tracheal tubes, oxygen masks and anaesthesia gas tubes can also be responsible for such grave situations. Here only patient safety practices can save patients” cautions Prof Kant, who is the former Chief Medical Superintendent of Gandhi Memorial & Associated Hospitals, CSMMU.
“VAP has become important because of use of ventilator in serious patients of trauma, burn, neuro-surgical problems and surgery for instance” says Prof Rama Kant.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Pneumonia is the single largest cause of death in children worldwide. “Every year, it kills an estimated 1.8 million children under the age of five years, accounting for 20% of all deaths of children under five years old worldwide. There are some 155 million cases of childhood pneumonia every year in the world. Pneumonia affects children and families everywhere, but is most prevalent in South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. It can be prevented with simple interventions, and treated with low-cost, low-tech medication and care” says WHO site.
Pneumonia can be spread in a number of ways. The viruses and bacteria that are commonly found in a child’s nose or throat, can infect the lungs if they are inhaled. They may also spread via air-borne droplets from a cough or sneeze. In addition, pneumonia may spread through blood, especially during and shortly after birth. More research needs to be done on the different pathogens causing pneumonia and the ways they are transmitted, as this has critical importance for treatment and prevention.
The symptoms of viral and bacterial pneumonia are similar. However, the symptoms of viral pneumonia may be more numerous than the symptoms of bacterial pneumonia.
When pneumonia becomes severe, children may experience lower chest wall indrawing, where their chests move in or retract during inhalation (in a healthy person, the chest expands during inhalation). Infants may be unable to feed or drink and may also experience unconsciousness, hypothermia and convulsions.
While most healthy children can fight the infection with their natural defences, children whose immune systems are compromised are at higher risk of developing pneumonia. A child’s immune system may be weakened by malnutrition or undernourishment, especially in infants who are not exclusively breastfed.
Pre-existing illnesses, such as symptomatic HIV infections and measles, also increase a child’s risk of contracting pneumonia.
The following environmental factors also increase a child’s susceptibility to pneumonia:
* indoor air pollution caused by cooking and heating with biomass fuels (such as wood or dung)
* living in crowded homes
* parental smoking.
“In India, on 2nd October 2008, the smoke-free laws were implemented country-wide, in line with the Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products Act (2003) and also the global tobacco treaty (Famework Convention on Tobacco Control - FCTC) which India has ratified in 2005. The implementation of smoke-free laws has been far from ideal - and this needs to be implemented strictly - not only to harness tobacco control outcomes but also broader public health, environmental and social justice outcomes this law aims to deliver” says WHO’s Director-General’s Awardee on tobacco control for the year 2005 Professor (Dr) Rama Kant. Parental smoking is one of the key factors to increase child’s susceptibility to pneumonia, says Professor (Dr) Rama Kant.
Pneumonia can be treated with antibiotics. These are usually prescribed at a health centre or hospital, but the vast majority of cases of childhood pneumonia can be administered effectively within the home. Hospitalization is recommended in infants aged two months and younger, and also in very severe cases.
Preventing pneumonia in children is an essential component of a strategy to reduce child mortality. Immunization against Hib, pneumococcus, measles and whooping cough (pertussis) is the most effective way to prevent pneumonia.
Adequate nutrition is key to improving children’s natural defences, starting with exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life. This is also effective in preventing pneumonia and reducing the length of the illness.
Addressing environmental factors such as indoor air pollution (by providing affordable clean indoor stoves, for example) and encouraging good hygiene in crowded homes also reduces the number of children who fall ill with pneumonia.
In children infected with HIV, the antibiotic cotrimoxazole is given daily to decrease the risk of contracting pneumonia.
A very effective and important preventive method for pneumonia and other conditions too is proper hand washing, informs Prof Kant.
