Random Thoughts

I am currently trying to master the art of lucid dreaming which is a technique used to have control over what you do in dreams. Think of it as virtual reality but in your unconscious mind. I keep a dream journal and have a pretty excellent dream recall. Which basically means If I wake up for whatever reason or when I go to sleep the next night I can start my dream from where I left off the last time I was dreaming. I cant yet control what actually happens. The past couple off nights a blonde girl who I've never seen before in real life has been a reoccurring subject. I spend hours in dream time just holding this girls hand or looking into her eyes. I really just wish I knew who this girl was supposed to be. So my questions today are have you ever had a reoccurring dream? What do you think this girl means? Also for anyone interested here is an article on How to Lucid Dream

Random Thoughts

I saw Contagion over the weekend and the movie really got me thinking the average person may be really screwed if a major pandemic started ravishing the world population. The best way to deal with a situation of global pandemic is to have a plan and supplies ready before you ever need them. Where would you go? I can't be the only one who is in their early 20's that has no clue what they want to be when they "grow up". Every week for me its something else, when I was little I was set on being a scientist. Now that I'm older, my interests vary so much Game designer one week, then a programmer, then Mechanical Engineering so I can get a cushy government job designing guns.I've even considered theoretical physics so I can meet Stephen Hawking and make funny faces over his shoulder. So today's question is what do you want to be when you grow up or what is your profession now that you are grown up?

Anonymous is a group of Internet Hacktivist that support internet anonymity, internet freedom and freedom of speech. They have a laundry list of accomplishments both on the internet and via real life protests. Recently Anonymous has brought forth their group concern about Facebook selling personal information to government agencies and giving information to security firms so they can spy on people all around the world including governments in countries going through government revolutions like Egypt and Syria. As of August 2011 parts of Anonymous have announced their plans to put an end to Facebook for the safety of the people. The planned shut down is scheduled for November 5th, 2011. What are your opinions?

We know dinosaurs are real but it makes no mention of 20 foot tall monstrous carnivore's in any biblical document. So did humans live during the same time as dinosaurs? If there were no humans when there were dinosaurs doesn't that automatically support the 4.54 Billion year old Earth theory. Because Genesis 1:26-31 says that humans came at the same time as animals. But if the dinosaurs died millions of years before the men that wrote those ancient documents they would have had no idea they even existed. In fact humans did not officially begin recognizing dinosaurs until 1841. So what is your opinion on the subject ?
