Sorry for the lack of postings but I was really busy in my "normal" job, so I couldn't care about the stock market or my blog here....

Usually I sell my stocks before earnings announcements because you never know what will happen (more or less its like casino gambling (except when you have some "inside information").

What was different by Jack Henry & Associates Inc. (JKHY)?

Just before their earnings announcement they raised their dividend. Usually a strong signal by the insiders (i.e. earnings must be "good"). So I hold my position and finally the stock was well up yesterday.

Now I am looking for a nice move above 22.

Sold my position in Open Text Corp. (OTEX) @16,78 for a gain of 6,8% mainly because of the earning announcement which is scheduled for tomorrow after market close.

Sold Open Solutions Inc. (OPEN) @26,5 for a gain of 7,9%

Sold Integra Lifesciences Holdings Corp. (IART) @39,38 for a gain of 8%

Sold Amcol International Corp. (ACO) @25,71 for a gain of 6,9%

bought Amcol International Corp. (ACO) yesterday @24,05 (shortly after I wrote to do nothing more this week, I could not let my hands out of the market...)

today I will be looking for an exit @Open Solutions Inc. (OPEN), looks a little bit overbought to me here... [bought @24,56] & I will watch SLNK closely after their earnings call yesterday [bought @ 12,96]

Yesterday Hoku Scientific, Inc. (HOKU) published earnings:

Hoku Shares Surge on Third-Quarter Profit

Stock is up around 18% @10,80. I think I will sell half of my shares here and hold the other half a little bit longer (provided with an stop loss in the "green territory")
