We live on the most beautiful planet, Earth which has very clean and attractive nature full of greenery. Nature is our best friend which provides us all the resources to live here. It gives us water to drink, pure air to breathe, food to eat, land to stay, animals, plants for our other uses, etc for our betterment. We should fully enjoy the nature without disturbing its ecological balance. We should care our nature, make it peaceful, keep it clean and prevent it from the destruction so that we can enjoy our nature forever. Nature is a most precious gift given by the God to us to enjoy but not to harm.

The world is changing fast. Population is rising and everyone is in a hurry to earn money. In this people are overlooking the fact that they are doing all the things that are harmful to mankind. Its liking digging their own grave with their own hands and thats whats going on..

If you see a litterer, object very politely (e.g. "Excuse me, sir, I think you dropped something"). 3 To reduce noise. 4 Burning leaves or garbage is already illegal in many towns. Don't do it. Dispose of such material in some other way. 5 There's only so much water. Don't leave it running. If it has to be recycled too fast, treatment plants can't purify it properly.

To advance in spiritual life in the correct direction, some basic understanding of the nature of the goal is required. The goal of sadhana is for our smaller individual consciousness to get the grace of the bigger (infinite) consciousness of God. We feel that we are smaller consciousness due to our ego and its tendencies towards ego-based desires. But our smaller individual consciousness is actually floating (or part of) the bigger (infinite) consciousness of God. Structurally there is no disconnect between the two. Right now our individual consciousness like a wave is floating over the ocean of the bigger consciousness of God. But the individual consciousness does not become aware of the God consciousness until it gives up its worldly attachments (which does not mean daily works) and God reveals His bigger consciousness out of grace. Since this understanding is the premise of spiritual life, the next step is to feel this understanding.

7CPC: Seventh Pay Commission for central government employees announced.The government on Wednesday decided to finally announce the Seventh Pay Commission for central government employees and pensioners.

“Prime Minister Manmohan Singh approved the constitution of the 7th Pay Commission. Its recommendations are likely to be implemented with effect from January 1, 2016″, Finance Minister P Chidambaram said in a statement.

The government constitutes Pay Commission almost every ten years to revise the pay scales of its employees and often these are adopted by states after some modification.

As the Commission takes about two years to prepare its recommendations, the award of the seventh pay panel is likely to be implemented from January 1, 2016, Chidambaram said. The government has announced constitution of the Seventh Pay Commission, which will look into the salaries, allowances and pensions of about 80 lakh of its employees and pensioners.

We welcome the government’s move to set up the 7th Pay Commission but we have a reservation. It should be implemented with effect from January 1, 2011. Central employee pay scales are revised every five year. The merger of DA with basic pay helps central government employees as certain allowances are paid as proportion of the basic pay and hence merger results in higher allowances.

The concept of Satyagraha is as old as hills. The Upanishads declare that the entire world rests on the bed rock of Satya or truth. Budha gave to the mankind the message of Ahinsa and declared that hatred could be overcome not by hatred but by love. Mahavira declared Ahinsa Parmo Dharma as the highest form of religion. Jesus Christ extolled the importance of Ahinsa.

He said, "Resist no evil; whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also." Mythological stories of Bhagat Prahlad and Raja Harishchandra in India and philosophy of Socrates were based on perfect Satyagraha. Thus we find that Satyagraha has a long history and background.

Gandhiji only gave this concept a new shape and philosophy. He said in the Harijan of 28th March, 1936. "I do not claim to have originated any new principle or doctrine, I have simply tried in my own way to apply this eternal principle to our daily life and problems. Truth and non-violence are as old as hills. All I have done is to try experiments on as vast a scale as I could."

“India is an Old country but a young nation…I am young and I too have a dream, I dream of India Strong, Independent, Self-Reliant and in the front rank of the nations of the world. Rajiv Gandhi was born on August 20, 1944 in Bombay (Mumbai) in India's most famous political family. His grandfather Jawaharlal Nehru played a stellar role in India's freedom struggle and became independent India's first Prime Minister. His parents lived separately and Rajiv Gandhi was raised at his grandfather's home where her mother lived. Rajeev Gandhi did his schooling from the elite Doon school and then studied at the University of London and at Trinity College, Cambridge in Britain. At Cambridge, Rajiv Ghandi met and fell in love with an Italian student Sonia Maino and they got married in 1969.

Returning to India, Rajeev Ghandi became a commercial airline pilot. His younger brother Sanjay Gandhi entered politics and became a trusted lieutenant of her mother Indira Gandhi. After Sanjay's death in a plane crash in 1980, Rajiv reluctantly entered politics at the instance of his mother. He won his first Lok Sabha election in 1981 from Amethi-the erstwhile constituency of his brother. Soon he became the General Secretary of the Congress Party. After the assassination of Indira Gandhi in October 1984 he became the Prime Minister of India at the age of 40. He called for general elections in 1984 and riding on a massive sympathy wave led Congress to a thumping victory. Congress garnered 80 percent of the seats in the lower house and achieved its greatest victory since independence.

In his initial days as Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi was immensely popular. During his tenure as Prime Minister of India, he brought a certain dynamism to the premiership, which had always been occupied by older people. He is credited with promoting the introduction of computers in India. Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi began leading in a direction significantly different from Indira Gandhi's socialism. He improved bilateral relations with the United States and expanded economic and scientific cooperation. He increased government support for science and technology and associated industries, and reduced import quotas, taxes and tariffs on technology-based industries, especially computers, airlines, defence and telecommunications. He worked towards reducing the red tape in the governance and freeing administration from bureaucratic tangles. In 1986, Rajiv Gandhi announced a national education policy to modernize and expand higher education programs across India.

Usually, the role of a teacher is formal and outgoing, carried out by way of occupation and at a school or other place of formal education. I have seen nowadays, youngsters usually have such a lack of respect towards those individuals we call as teachers. It is even portrayed in many forms of media such as in films or even in cartoons that usually tell us the lives of children and teenagers in schools in which the teachers are portrayed in such antagonistic ways.The lack of respect from the students towards their teacher comes from the media, but I see that media is partially responsible for spreading the negative influences of not seeing teachers in high regard towards the children. I know it's not the children's fault for seeing the teachers as some kind of individuals that shall be antagonized.I won't deny that teachers are not saints. They do mistakes like other people too. It's not even surprising if sometimes, I receive some news that tell us something terrible that has been done by a couple of teachers, like a teacher sexually harassing his students. While I won't deny it that the teachers may do something like that, students and parents must not antagonize the teachers if a couple of us are doing such thing. They must know that teachers, including me are responsible for the building of society in this world. Just ask politicians, or doctors, or even some people with big names, how could they get their fame like they do have now? Were they taught by their parents in their homes?
