Hardik Pandya And Natasa Stankovic Blessed With A Baby Boy. See Pic

Hardik Pandya, the Indian all-rounder, took to social media on Thursday to share that his partner Natasa Stankovic has given birth to a baby boy. "We are blessed with our baby boy," Hardik Pandya captioned the picture of his new-born son. Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic, who announced their engagement on 1st January, revealed in May that they were expecting a baby.

Since then the couple has been sharing loved-up posts for each other on social media and recently they even shared the pictures of their gorgeous maternity shoot.

As far as cricket is concerned, Hardik Pandya was set to make his comeback in the ODI series against South Africa.

Hardik Pandya had been out of action due to an injury since September 2019.

He last participated in the three-match T20I series against South Africa.

Pandya underwent back surgery in London in October and was confirmed to stay from action for 2-3 months.

Hardik Pandya will be next seen in action for Mumbai Indians during the much-awaited Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, which is all set to commence from September 19 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Initially, the 13th edition of the T20 league was supposed to begin from March 29, but due to the global outbreak of coronavirus, the tournament got postponed.

Coronavirus Pandemic LIVE Updates: The death toll due to Covid-19 rose to 1,373 and the number of cases climbed to 42,533 in the country today, according to the Union Health Ministry. The number of active Covid-19 cases stood at 29,453, while 11,706 people have recovered and one patient has migrated, it said. The total number of cases include 111 foreign nationals.

A total of 67 deaths were reported since Sunday evening, of which 28 fatalities were reported from Gujarat, 27 from Maharashtra, six from Rajasthan, two from West Bengal and one each from Haryana, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and Telengana. Out of the total 1,373 fatalities, Maharashtra has recorded the highest number of deaths at 548, followed by Gujarat at 290.

Madhya Pradesh has reported 156 deaths, Rajasthan 71, Delhi 64, Uttar Pradesh 43, West Bengal 35 and Andhra Pradesh 33. The death toll reached 30 in Tamil Nadu and 29 in Telangana, while Karnataka has reported 25 fatalities due to COVID-19.

India enters the third phase of the coronavirus lockdown today, with several states set to ease some rules in areas that are free of the disease and considered medium risk. Since the home ministry announced the second extension of the lockdown with significant relaxations on Friday evening, India recorded as many as 4,898 cases in the 48-hour span till Sunday evening.

While the Centre says that the rise infections is stabilising, the easing of the lockdown will provide a stiff test of India’s handling of the pandemic, as the government balances how to control the spread of the virus with sending Indians back to work.

The relaxations also show that the government is preparing for a graded exiting of restrictions after doing risk profiling by coming up with red, orange and green zones based on the number of cases.

Nearly two-thirds of the population falls in either the orange or green categories, which will see several curbs being lifted, while a third is in the red zone. All the major metro cities come under the latter category.

But there remains a cause for concern as the number of coronavirus cases tripled during the second phase of the lockdown that was from April 14 to May 3. Gujarat suffered the fastest spread as the number of cases increased 7.1 times during that period.

Meaning of National anthem

National Anthem is a solemn patriotic song which is officially taken by a country as an expression of national identity. The National Anthem of India, “Jana Gana Mana”, was written by Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. The song showcases the national heritage of India and exhibits the patriotism, pride and national allegiance. It acts as a catalyst to the feeling of national pride.

The anthem opens with an exaltation of the Almighty, who guides the country’s destiny:

Jana-gana-mana-adhinayaka jaya he

Bharata-bhagya-vidhata

Or, in English:

You, the ruler of our minds, our nation

To you our humble salutations!

The poem then begins a virtual tour of pre-independence India, beginning in the north and circling west, mentioning the regions of Punjab, Sindh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, the southern states speaking Dravidian languages, and Odisha and Bengal:

Jadeja, a Gujarat police constable, carrying two children on his shoulders for over 1.5 km as he walks through waist-deep water at Kalyanpar village of Morbi district, about 200 km from capital Ahmedabad.

One of the first to laud the constable’s bravery was the CM himself. “A man in uniform on duty. Police constable Shri Pruthvirajsinh Jadeja is one of the many examples of Hard work, Determination and Dedication of Government official, executing duties in the adverse situation. Do appreciate their commitment,” Rupani tweeted.

Article 370 - All you need to know

Article 370 of the Indian constitution gave special status to the region of Jammu and Kashmir, allowing it to have a separate constitution, a state flag and autonomy over the internal administration of the state.It existed until 2019, when it was revoked.

The article was drafted in Part XXI of the Constitution: Temporary, Transitional and Special Provisions. The Constituent Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir, after its establishment, was empowered to recommend the articles of the Indian constitution that should be applied to the state or to abrogate the Article 370 altogether. After consultation with the state's Constituent Assembly, the 1954 Presidential Order was issued, specifying the articles of the Indian constitution that applied to the state. Since the Constituent Assembly dissolved itself without recommending the abrogation of Article 370, the article was deemed to have become a permanent feature of the Indian Constitution.

This article, along with Article 35A, defined that the Jammu and Kashmir state's residents live under a separate set of laws, including those related to citizenship, ownership of property, and fundamental rights, as compared to resident of other Indian states. As a result of this provision, Indian citizens from other states could not purchase land or property in Jammu & Kashmir.

Demolition of Article 370 and 35A

On 5 August 2019, President Ram Nath Kovind issued a constitutional order revoking the 1954 order, and making all the provisions of the Indian constitution applicable to Jammu and Kashmir. Following resolutions passed in both the houses of Parliament, he issued a further order on 6 August declaring all the clauses of Article 370 to be inoperative.

In addition, the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill was passed in both the houses of Parliament, which proposes to divide the state of Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories to be called Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
