This summer 2023, I went to Japan, I visited my best friend and stayed at her parents' home. I have no words to describe how amazing Japan is. I went to Tokyo, Nagoya Kyoto, Okayama, Matsuyama, Fujinomiya, Shizuoka, Nara, Osaka... so many beautiful places.

Japanese fashion is out of this world especially in Shibuya & Harajuku, Tokyo. I went to Shinjuku, Shibuya and Harajuku and discovered the most amazing brands <3.

I am going to talk about three brands that are defining the DNA of Harajuku fashion according to me: Nile Perche a Fairy Key brand, Baby Return, tntntutu and Jolie Laide.

'Nile Perche' brand - Harajuku LaForet department store

'Nile Perché' is a very well known Fairy Key brand in Japan, their design is always super cute and very unique but the down side is ....the price, this is a super expensive brand. For instance a pins is almost 20 euros.

'Baby Return' is another Japanese brand that I've discovered at Harajuku LaForet, they had a pop up store in July 2023.

I especially love their bags. I've bought this pink belt bag :), I always get questions like where did I get it.

'Tntntutu' - Harajuku LaForet

Tntntutu is so Harajuku, it perfectly fits Tokyo, but this brand would be very hard to wear in Paris and even in the Japanese countryside. Tokyo is the only area in Japan where people are wearing crazy outfits.

Jolie Laide - Harajuku LaForet

Jolie Laide - Harajuku Laforet

Jolie Laide is a Korean brand, I fell in love with their kitty knitwear top :), I bought the pink one.

Japan is really the place to be and to visit. Japanese people are very nice and friendly, if you speak a little bit of Japanese it's even better. You will never get bored in Tokyo there are so many things to visit and to do :)

Paul & Joe "Parasol" and Sleek "Good Girl" palette haul

I've bought a lot of cute makeup items these days especially Paul & Joe Parasol collection and Sleek "Good Girl" palette. I've found it at Sephora, I've tried to order it before on Sleek website but it was sold out. So I've decided to order the Sparkle palette instead, and let me tell you that Sleek.com has one of the worst customer service I've ever seen. I placed my order on December 23rd 2010 and still waiting for it, I called them many times just to get a refund, and I'm still not sure to get it. Clerks at Sleek are not reliable, believe me.

Today, I had the opportunity to go to the Mickey Contractor collection preview (at my local Mac pro store in Paris), I've only bought two items from this collection: Siahi fluidline and Atma quad. I was expecting to see a special packaging something like the Manish Arora collection, but no. Perhaps it's because Mickey Contractor is just a makeup artist and Manish Arora a designer, it might be an explanation according to me. At the same time, I've also bought Spring Bean lustreglass, it has been so much time that I wanted to buy it.

Siahi seems to be very dark in the pot but it's actually sheer, I'd say a sheer navy blue color.
My two favorite colors of the quad are Jaan and Vivah, they're just gorgeous.

I've received my ASOS order today, I'm so happy I've bought a Paul and Joe sister T-shirt with a Cath Kidston bag, I just love the new items I got, they're so cute ^^

The T-shirt was on sale (only 25 euros), it was really cheap!!! Paul & Joe Sister is a little bit cheaper than Paul & Joe brand, it's one of my favorite brand for clothes and cosmetics.

Today, it was rainy and cold but I wake up early to be one of first to get the Cham Pale collection, this is a very shimmery collection. I especially like the lipgelées. I was expected to get 3 more items: I Get No Kick eye khôl, Soirée nail lacquer and Chilled On Ice paint pot, I didn't took them. I finally bought the Caviar dream Quad, Dangerous Cuvée, Let Me Pop, Vintage Selection and Bubble Lounge lipgeléé.

Walking down on the Champs-Elysées and Boulevard Haussman

Yesterday, I went to the Champs-Elysées and Boulevard Haussman with a friend. Just lurking around the amazing boutique decorations and Louis Vuitton store of course ^^....

At Nespresso boutique, we saw the gorgeous window display made by Many Arora, a famous Indian designer, I love his creations. As soon as I saw this, I immediately recognized his style.

Then, we went to the huge Louis Vuitton store ^^, of course my friend and I we love this store!!!!

It was overcrowded as usual, but the worst thing about it: we wanted to get in but we couldn't because it was close!!! Too bad for us.

On my way back, I decided to go to Boulevard Haussman just to see the windows displays and take some photographs. It was great, the place was empty because it was late and I was free to take pics of Le Printemps without being annoyed by parisians and tourists. The theme of this year was: Noël Au Château (literally Christmas at the Castle).

It looks like my lab's portray ^^

I like every single detail. Before leaving I took photographs of the Chanel window display. The little Coco Chanel dolls were so cute, I almost wanted to get one (even if I don't like dolls).

I love Calgon Body Mists and Bath and Body Works mists, both brands are making a large choice of products for bath, body, face and so on. I really like the scent of these products because they are neither too strong nor heavy, they're all very refreshing.

For every girl time is a big issue, I think it's so unfair to age and when you are young you have this feeling that you'll never get old. But this feeling doesn't last because reality is catching up with us. To slow down this aging process, I try my best to find out tips, beauty products to look younger, and to have a skin care routine.
Two years ago, I heard of a wonderful product Meiji Amino Collagen, and since I'm using it on a daily base. It's a fish collagen powder that you can mix with you favorite beverage like coffee, cocoa, tea, juice, soup and so on. I usually drink it with my tea, and I can tell that since I'm taking it my skin looks better and younger, it has become more flawless. I'm a mixed race girl (Blackasian and white) , I used to have dark spots and now my skin tone is brighter and unified. I also massage my face twice a day.

I have 3 different kinds of Amino Collagen powder from left to right: Meiji Premium with Q10, Meiji Collagen C Drink lemon flavored, and the classic one Meiji Amino Collagen

Two days ago, I'd done my Christmas shopping at the Champs-Elysées and decided to go to Sephora just to lurk new makeup stuff, I found the "Enchanted Glamourland" by Too Faced, even if I had seen it before on many blogs, I didn't mean to buy it. (I wanted to buy the Urban Decay Book of Shadows III instead, but didn't find it so special when I saw it on store).
I took my final decision when I made some swatches, and I decided to buy it, the colors are amazing, smooth and easy to apply, the Label Whore shade is very similar to Blue Brown pigment.

I really like the pixie theme for this Winter collection 2010, last year it was the Marie-Antoinette theme.

The palette contains many little treasures: Pillow Talk lipgloss, Shadow Insurance primer, La Vie en Rose blush, Snow Bunny bronzing powder and 15 eyeshadows.

Let me introduce you Dimitri, he's my 2 years old baby kitty. Even if he's a male, I like to dress him up like a doll with cute girls outfits. Every time I go abroad, I try to find little accessories and toys for him :).

At the end of November 2010, Nicki Minaj collaborated with Mac and designed a limited edition lipstick "Pink Friday" to celebrate the release of her debut album Pink Friday. It is only available online, it's a creamy pink satin formula and I've decided to order it last week for two reasons : I like Nicki she's a great artist and also because I love the shade, it's a perfect Barbie pink color.
