前些時候回國時隨手寫下的。整理。

朋友問說你小時候怕高麼，我說不怕。現在回到家從陽台往下望手心都會冒汗，十層樓而已。到現在才搞明白，長大後會有所謂的恐高症，是因為每次站在稍高的地方都想往下跳；手心會出汗不是怕高，而是得克制住那股衝動，不然真跳下去就傻逼對不起父母了。

久違了的妖都。滿地的外省人滿地的高樓。走在街上只顧抬頭張望賺足回頭率：哪來的鄉下佬。竟還有人跟著一起抬頭。路上的上班族都偏愛大一號的西裝襯衣一直是很困惑的事情。打開地圖好不容易發現角落仍有一座美術館和Hadid規劃據說已有裂縫的歌劇院，其他全是mall，一個接一個，沒完沒了，太奇怪了。

猛然瞥見Costa，農民了，原來它也來中國大陸削錢了。一路貌似都是名牌，而且都是國外的名牌，無奈在國外生活十餘年咋連很多都沒瞧見過。偶碰倆眼熟的 H&M Zara之流，店內裝修佈置得跟奢侈品牌一樣，價格也稱得上离奇。一直認為廣州是談得上城市底蘊的都市，想在都變成啥了，媽的又一堆問號。

時間真的是相當弔詭的東西。昨日睡醒一看手機時間18：14。早上六點，睡挺好，開始期待早餐。翻開書（好像回國就應該看中文書一樣)，煞有介事心不在焉地看了個把小時，滾下床拉開窗簾，廣州早上七點多的天怎麼是黑的，再一看時間才醒覺，媽的傻叉了那是倫敦的六點。與廳內各時鐘確認了一番才不甘地回房上床。盯着天花板。

推一下【轉山】，在外越飄越久情感越發脆弱，以前老人父母相關電影一概不敢看，現在連小孩都不行了，年紀真大了。男主跟屁孩兒分開那一幕差點陣亡。電影不錯，好幾幕真得努力hold住。感觉台灣的電影導演還是稍欠火候，可拍得更好。整體仍是好片一部。

順帶一提，在廣州觀影的體驗是很有趣的，影片播放時會有人聊天，有人討論劇情，有人預測劇情，有人拍照，有人微薄，有人聊電話，說實在，不關別人啥事，可你影響到別人了。。。

抬頭張眼妖都是滿大街的美女，管她是不是背多分，單是看着背影心裡就美滋滋的，若是迎面走來一位婀娜多姿那可不只是心裡自個兒偷着樂，七情上面嘴角都不禁上揚，通常換來的不是尷尬的一笑就是充滿鄙視的眼神。又成功地向轉變為歐吉桑邁出了一大步。

許多年過去了都未曾與妳說過一句話，如今妳已嫁為人妻，直到飛機起飛那一刻，心裡都還抱着一絲幻想，期許能與你在機艙內相遇，跟你說聲恭喜。其實是很沒有意義的，懷念過去就是沒有意義的，但實際上人生大部份事情包括人生本身都是沒有意義的，每個人都是個體，在找，在為不同的人事物賦予不同的意義，所以請容許我繼續犯二，祝新婚愉快，請拼了命地幸福，否則發誓一定把你奪過來。

才意識到翻譯真的是吃力不討好的一份活兒.

動/漫畫改編的live action film. 漫畫原作中血腥暴力色情面面俱到, 劇情有些小拖曳, 整體仍算過關, 精彩度還是有滴. Gantz講述的基本上是與外星人幹架的故事, 劇中角色死了又活活了又死周而復始沒完沒了, 相當弔詭. 但實際上, 卻是相當有趣的. 生生死死這個問題上可以想象為劇中角色徹底掛點以後, Gantz作為一項(未)開發完成的科技, 有能力將角色拷貝一遍然後帶回, 當然是有一定的代價, 所有都發生在同一空間內, 至於它怎麼拷的, 至今漫畫內仍未給出答案. 有趣的地方在於, 在被Gantz複製完畢回到此空間接下來要去執行打壓外星人任務時, 會得到一套強力戰鬥衣, 及許多威力破點的槍支武器 -- 升級版的生存遊戲. 嚮往嘛? 嚮捏. 畢竟, 安逸久了皮就會養, 人嘛.

說回此電影, 分為上下兩趴. 第一趴基本就按照原著來, 雖說個人對劇情上有否忠於原著並不介意, 但下集未免也太亂來了吧, 毫無重點毫無意義毫無邏輯, 觀眾若想尋找perfect answer那在下集內是不會找到的.. 角色方面, 感覺二宮跟原作男主外形上相差甚遠.. 原作中的初期男配man到噁爛變娘炮的感覺跟松山也不搭.. 吉高則繼續過分美麗雖說表現不多, 大部份時間處在霧煞煞的狀況下. 其他角色印象為零, 尤其山田孝之 扮演的角色, 作用也為零, 大部份角色的作用都在零附近浮動.

電影中的黑服星人帥氣度也不如漫畫中的吸血鬼原型.

電腦特技做得仍甚是到位, 感嘆一下日本相關產業的發達. 在某些部份上, 電影的原作的還原度還是相當高的. 比如說那個黑球, 又比如說這套緊身戰鬥衣, 媽的實在酷帥到不行, 各路cosplay中亦未見過屌成這樣的. 此服應該量產推廣, 幾個人穿着它在夜晚大街上拿着武士刀亂跑, 喔, 何等銷魂的一個畫面.

其實很能體會廣大漫迷對映畫化的反感, 不只劇情選角方面也一直令人詬病. 浪人劍心之後也要改編成電影, 光是 佐藤健 出演緋村這點就足夠令人失望. 蒼井優 跟高荷惠也完全不搭. 若有意把此作品改編成系列電影, 為何不在選角方面多作些參考呢..?

I realised I haven't blogged anything for a while.

No more sharing, I'm thrilled, I just hope the place doesn't kill me. Peace.

This is a film by Danny Boyle, starring young Leonardo DiCaprio, called, The Beach, it was an adaptation of a novel written by Alex Garland, whoever that is, and obviously it's a book which I have not read. The rating was just over 6 on imdb, normally that would have put me off but I went for this for the very fundamental reason -- Voila, it's about a beach.

I've always had a thing about beach, ever since I arrived on this island. Of course, Brighton isn't exactly what I personally would like to refer to as a "beach", it's all rocks and stones, no, not the way I liked it. And as a matter of fact when I clicked on cmd + F and searched for "beach" in my previous 13 years of life prior to the arrival, I couldn't even locate anything, so Brighton there we go, despite everything, it meant something, as a beach.

It was in summer 2009, one of my cousins held her wedding ceremony at an island to the east of Tawau, East Malaysia, and it was an experience that would be planted in my brain for the rest of my life, the crystal clear sea, the butter soft sand, the villa the breeze the drinks the trees, mind me, it was paradise. The shitty phone camera shot will have to be excused, iPhone wasn't exactly as developed two years ago. Oftentimes some travel miles away from home looking for something different, seeking for an adventure but consequentially wind up sitting inside that comfort zone of ours, a dream becomes reality. It is when we dwell in the dream of reality searching for something eternal, that eventually, we would be able to see it with our eyes shut, that distinctive hue separates us from the rest, it's something concrete, something absolute, something restless.

Oh don't worry, I'm not spacing out and I haven't drifted away just yet. At one point or another, you will become acquainted with what's taking place in the film, it's exactly like Bill Murray says, a good script is a good script, it automatically gets people involved and a good screenplay, it draws you close, intrinsically. I wouldn't go as far to call Boyle a true visionary ahead of time, but I do think when people actually go back and watch this, a much much further and deeper sensation and appreciation would be developed compare to when it was first released in 2000. This was before Leonardo had began working with Martin Scorsese, he was young and immature, the act was slightly superficial, but none of it mattered, everything he was, everything back then, was a perfect depiction of a youth's impulsive and rebellious heart. The film painted a parallel universe, a nature not just in its own sense but a nature inside of ours too, like how the narration went, no matter where you go, no matter what Eden you are at, the desire, our nature will never be bleached. And the one and only Tilda Swinton, enough said really.

And this reminded me of Lost, which is fascinating, an inspiration or not.

Speaking of islands, next summer I would want to drag myself back to Malaysia, I would want to go back to that island, and I would like to see you again, my very first love at first sight, that happened in the summer of two thousand and nine. Good night. Ah shit, that sounded like some slogan for some lousy ads, never mind. Until next time.

復仇者之死 Revenge: A Love Story

不得不說, Juno, 好嘢!

很多年前, 當時仍小. 與其說是不喜歡麥浚龍, 其實更多的是恨鐵不成鋼或者是嫉妒好了.. 其實一路都欣賞Silly Thing, 兩位麥生的號召力更加不在話下. 但Juno這麼多年除了幾張唱片和偶爾爲品牌拍攝的照片走秀幾乎看不到他蹤影 (雖然也沒有經常看到其他人..), Chapel of Dawn好像又沒有了聲氣, 不禁又令人搖一搖頭, 雖然, 歌曲及MV等製作都很厲害.. 畢竟.. Silly Thing嘛..

撇開所有東西說回電影. 也是期盼了許久 黃精甫許多年前的江湖或是阿嫂都算是令人留有印象的作品, 外加麥浚龍蒼井空(其實真的沒有看過很多她的東西..) 兩個名字更是賺足期待值. 開場足夠驚豔, 無論是thriller horror 什麼都好, 很少有鏡頭會噁心到讓人想快進. 這是一個love story, 用最原始最血腥的方式表達了 love.

兩位主角對白不多, 但這恰恰是最難表現的 It's all in the eyes (笑). 戲中Juno飾演的陳杰很莫名地在某些位一直令人想起窪塚洋介. 蒼井空也有少量的裸露戲對她來說應該是駕輕就熟了. 綜合來講, 兩位的表現都並無太多可挑剔之處, 更何況還有一堆戲精綠葉. 對體制的諷刺, 社會底層小人物的心聲當然更多是陰暗面在電影內都刻畫得無比深刻. 故事終章最爲震撼, 亦同時給宗教打上了一個大大的問號. 上帝是什麼? 這就是所謂的神的孩子? 其實對宗教信仰並無排斥, 但若大衆或小衆整天拿上帝說嘴自怨自艾甚至無病呻吟, 作爲一個無神論者則難免會有反感的情緒出現. 題外話一下, 突然想起近日在電影Paul中結尾的一段對白, 一位應該是基督徒說:"God be with you." 來自外星的Paul迴應:"Yeah, whatever dude." 哈太酷. (是一部很好玩的電影) God my ass. Oops sorry.

故事結尾更是一個出色的點題加總結, 無論那是一個舊時自我的終結抑或是理想世界的期盼都是一個完美只能用完美來形容的結局. 戲服的安排也是出色的, 除了作爲角色性格描繪更是對戲內整個看是近實則遠的香港大環境作了一個完美的襯托. 應該是近期從Inception開始, 對電影內的戲服越加留意是真的留意留意到近乎可以用observe來形容, 而不僅是單單 "Oh that's beautiful", "Splendid costume", etc. The team did an excellent job there.

片中多處悽美得讓人心寒的畫面, 鏡頭切換細節處描寫配樂等均是上乘. 誰說香港電影已死. 在爛片充斥華語電影市場的今天所幸, someone is still trying to make a noise.

觀看前就百分期待Juno的表現. 有些生澀但沒有失望. Juno 加油!

No I'm not referring to the book and no I haven't bought it, the title means what it means, literally.

I could barely keep my eyes open now, I haven't slept for a while but in fact I kinda enjoyed it to be honest, I'm overwhelmed, somehow.

First and foremost, thank you. Thank you all, it wouldn't be possible, not at all, without the helps from you people.

Nothing overly fancy and it's still under development, but I'm happy with it at this stage.

I am nostalgic, I'm an ass who lives in the past, sometimes I bloody hate it, but I've never tried to fight it. "Tomorrow is a brand new day" I say fuck that, you are yesterdays and you are your memories. I believe in one love, oh no, meh, ain't nothing about that boy band my love. It's just a "concept", a "theory" that I truly believe in, deep down, whoever that person is really. Love while you can, don't let it slip away.

Basically that's where the name came from.

The magazine was divided into 4 chapters: Life/Death; Space/Dream; Wong Kar-Wai/Women; Youth/Isolation. It was a royal pain, thank you young miss. It was a difficult job editing, I know. Thank you for bearing with me once again.

Go back to the website, it definitely needs a lot more touches. But for now, just in case you are browsing. It was categorized into a format of a menu, because lately I've been highly intrigued by food culture, and most people probably never paid much attention to it since we eat everyday, quality food or shit, the taste to many, is perhaps the most concerning part. I just think there's a whole wide world to be explored there. Under Mains, it's a series of photo done by Ms. Sun, (it was fun, thank you for the help too) to deliver a certain few messages, whatever the messages are, you get it or you don't. I'm never comfortable in front of a camera, and now I realized being a model, it's a fucking torture, kudos to all the models out there. And there's a photo of my dad's family, I don't know who took it, I put it there because I think its dope as hell, and family means a shit load to me.

Ingredients and Sauces are pretty much self-explanatory. Not all the galleries and museums allow pictures I'm sure everyone is aware of that. The exhibitions up there, I didn't necessarily enjoy all of them for a variety of reasons. Just a note, LNCC is probably one of the best retail spaces I've experienced, space matters in which, it shits on Layers, sorry guys. Sides, well yeah, you get it or you don't, photography never been my thing I just did what I could with what i have. Wine consists of a few parts of a visual diary I did before, and some stuff that were written on this blog under Chapters, and a magazine curated by me, and edited by a friend who was mentioned earlier.

That's it basically. It's been thrilling and I appreciate every bit of help from you people. I consider myself lucky (wouldn't mind being luckier on the market, just saying). There are a lot of things I'm not able to accomplish but throughout the years, I've always been fortunate enough to have a few good friends who are always wiling to have my back. I don't know what else to say anymore but thank you.

Fashion, right, fashion. I used to take it as a very serious matter, now that I don't really care much about it, it's just clothes. I'm not sure whether I've lost the momentum, the passion or it's just me growing up.

Alright fucking damn, now I need a good shower and a good sleep, and I want plenty of alcohol for the weekend.

多得某位友人的提醒才想起這裏經從月po變成雙月po了. 呃.

1Q84暫時仍未有想讀的意思. 這麼多本後一開始的熱情難免減退, 單從文學價值而言相信每個讀者都會有不同的意見, 村上先生到底是不是大師, 也一定是各有說辭. 之前有位友人問過你究竟喜歡他什麼 (抱歉忘了是誰問過了), 其實要回答這個問題並不難, 村上的作品是西方和日本文化最完美的結合體書中描述的世界是獨立的唯一的真實的. 與讀另外一位村上先生 村上龍 時的感覺是不一樣的.

Crave了將近10年的Air Jordan III Retro, 今年再發完全沒有過多的考慮.

往年一直是穿着dunk-hi在跑步, 逐漸感覺膝蓋及小腿的負擔加大. 在Asics及Nike Undercover之間抉擇了許久.

很白爛的一件t-shirt (笑). 金老闆有心啦. 這到底是個什麼corporate自己也搞不清楚但其實菊花是很可愛的幹嘛老要忘那個方向想呢 (笑).

Uniqlo近几年都會有些有趣的動漫 printed t-shirt, Gundam, One Piece, Dragon Ball Z etc. 與其是作爲日常着用更多是對童年的懷念吧.

Going the Distance -- If there's one film, one love story, one chick flick, or whatever you want to name it, that I could perhaps feel the most related to! This! This would be it!

讓子彈飛 -- 這又裝B了那又傻B了, 嗨, 姜文自己想得都沒這幫觀衆透徹. 故事是改編小說的, 反共反政府反革命中心思想隨意往上加吧. 電影挺好看的, 故事對白都挺有趣的, 其實, 真挺有意思的, 特效是傻了點, 這又不是阿凡達, 影響到什么了到底. 罵呀罵呀, 一幫二蛋就他媽知道罵, 讓你免費下載看了除了罵還是罵, 就盜夢空間牛B, 只有馬丁哥才是導演.

The Fighter -- This could be easily turned into a dreadful, dull, and boring documentary. Sensational directing, spectacular perfromance by the cast, Christian Bale never fails to impress. This is excellent.

Now I'm a happy boy. Can't wait.

SPEC -- 上季. 超能力相關. 這個組合實在太有爆點了. 戶田完全拋棄形象的演齣啊. 希望接下來的電影版(如果有的話)能進行相關的揭祕暸.

The title I had in mind was, The _7 Experiment, in corresponding with The V-A Experiment posted earlier. Since I failed to get my hands on that leather bag, I would just go along with what everybody else had been doing, it's a bit late but still. Hello 2011!

And no, I didn't want the bag that badly, yes, I am certain, no it's not the bag that I've been after, no it has no external pockets, so no, I didn't want it, and no I don't want it but umm.. I probably would like to have it... Urgh.

I certainly am not trying to turn this into a monthly blog, I am a busy man I guess, yeah well maybe not.

A quick recap, this knit by Kumagai which was shown in the previous post was actually fantastically inspirational, its texture and seams and everything.

I'm kinda getting sick of my Headporter coin case and stumbled across this. Hand-made in London out of some paper-ish material. The material is definitely innovative, not something I see very often, and the tactile feeling exceeds many leather wallets/bags/purses that are offered on the market these days, the design is minimal, beautiful texture and colour dye, I certainly enjoyed the product the moment I received it, why wouldn't I, plus the fact that it's not overly expensive. However I can't really say this is the wallet for life because.. Well.. It's made out of paper.. So um, there you go...

Another laptop is finally in possession, I have to thank a numerous people for the effort and the trouble they had all gone through in obtaining and delivering this thing for me. I am very very grateful, I say I love you from the very bottom of my heart and I wish you a very very wonderful year ahead.

I used to flip through i-D, Wallpaper and even GQ and such on a regular basis. These days I just don't spend much time reading magazines for obvious reasons. Monocle is one of the very few I would still purchase, not monthly but from time to time. Dazed and Confused january features a Raf Simons' 15 years anniversary special, which is the only reason why I bought the copy, despite the fact that the name "Raf Simons" no longer means what it meant to me once, and it's extremely sad to see him being dumped by Futurepresent.. I needed a bigger pouch so here it is. The second Eastpak collaboration item I've bought now. I might be imagining things but somehow I think I read it somewhere that it says this is of some "techno fabrics", I've got no idea what the fuck it means and that is a crappy shot, I was hoping to find the source but couldn't, I was probably imagining it at the end of the day.

Lamb leather, fully lined, looks great, feels great, fits great. The colour however, isn't great. Yeah, it's not black, it's not grey, it's not charcoal, well taking a closer look it is great actually, can't really make it work for the rest of my closet that's all. I couldn't believe there's such discrepancy. Now I lost a piece of my multi-piece and this needs to go, it's just so great.

I love ramie. Period.

總結一下基本上過去幾個月內常會出現在對話中的內容. 原因噢.. 應該是對這個行業有憧憬, 有抱負, 有想法, 希望以后可以為祖國的服裝發展盡點綿力, 對這個世界有太多的不滿, 在改變世界之前首先要改變自己. 其實都是屁話, 哎想學就是想學嘛, 哪來那么多為甚么這為甚么那. 每天上班, 每天瞎忙; 每個月賺雞水一點錢, 抱怨不夠花; 每個月賺很多錢, 買很多東西; 放假去一下旅行, 拍很多自以為很美的照片; 結婚生子, 然后老死; 這樣的生活沒有什么問題, 其實挺好的, 我也沒有憤世嫉俗, 生命也挺好的, 沒有它我們都掛了, 原版好像是:"Life is good, without it we'd all be dead." 忘了誰說的, 反正是個名人, 只是我把他給忘了. 每個人的生命有不同的意義, 有不同的路, 知道自己該往哪走, 就好好走, 一直走下去直到掛點那一天.

又一年, 又聖誕, 但總覺旅程才剛剛開始. 一年比一年冷, 這件大衣到現在都仍未有着落, 很是頭疼. 過去三個月overwhelm一詞能作一個很好的概括. 總覺得自己暸解得經已夠多, 實則不然, 太多要學, 有點兒應接不暇. 記得7,8月份時某位人一句:"你的畫工很差啊, 還念設計啊?!" "呃... 可是我沒有想要念設計啊...?" 的確從沒想碰設計, 但那句話對自己所造成的打擊自己都不知如何形容. 其實一直想盡量避開任何設計方面的元素很大一部分原因是自己也知道自己畫不暸了, 但要承認及面對這個事實又不是一件易事. 從4,5歲就開始畫, 可能更早, 字都不會寫筆都拿不穩的時候就在畫, 當然, 是家裏人說的, 自己怎么可能還記得. 一直畫一直畫到15歲時徹底放停直到今年年中, 然后到現在. 年紀大了對透視要求高了, 右腦不轉了, 基礎不知道去哪了, 畫來畫去畫不好了, blah blah, 一位很詭異很老成的小朋友說, "你這些都是藉口吧, 要不然就繼續, 要不然就放棄." 自己都忘了自己原來是喜歡畫畫的, 縱使已經畫不太好了, 但重新拿起畫筆的感覺其實還不賴. 很是感謝身邊幾位友人的支持與鼓勵 (好像得獎一樣) "Shit is sick man.", "That is great!", you have no idea what these words meant to me, thank you.

聖誕期間任務繁重, 首要解決這個玩意.

The copy was bought straight after its released, I've not been a follower of McQueen and this is not a very good book either. There should be an exhibition some time in New York or wherever in the US later on next year, looking forward to the publication which accompanies it.

I've never enjoyed the phrase "Graphic Design" it just sounds incredibly cliche but this in fact, is an incredible book!

I'm okay, can't say I'm a-hundred-percent pleased with my life right now but I am okay. I think this was taken a couple days ago. A moody day, not me, but the weather. And the lighting was horrible I can never bothered to capture somewhat of a perfect shot. My wardrobe has not experienced too many of a drastic change, some small bits here and there slowly adding to the whole lot. I was trying to figure out how long these stuff that I was wearing have been in my closet, apparently this blazer by Yohji Yamamoto has been with me for exactly 2 years, and the Number (N)ine shirt is slightly longer, 3 years to be precise. I felt like I've had them forever now, it's incredible how emotion can be developed from a piece of garment. I think that sounded kinda weird.. The rest were Rick Owens layers, scarf and pants and boots all by Ann Demeulemeester. I think I was wearing gloves.

Over the past week I had been playing a lot on the stand, obviously something which I have never experienced before. I tried using a max of 3 pins applying to the entire set and just let the fabric does its thing. Bobby Watson is in fact quite an inspiring figure, it was fun and it was more than a pleasure to have her there.

But then later in the week it became almost impossible to put it back together and it ended up having too much going on one piece. And it looks like the calico needs a good press too, I am rather fond of the back though, now it's gona be a pain in the ass to sew it together.. Oh god..

Inception.

Oh man. This is absolutely beautiful work. I enjoy Nolan's, Memento, The Prestige, even the Batmans. And Inception is truly a masterpiece that he crafted. The cast was exceptional, Leonardo Di Caprio is simply one of the best out there now, I always like drawing a level of comparison between him and Mr. Al Pacino, certainly young Leo is not exactly there yet, but I believe one day he will. I personally don't find the movie that much of a nutjob to understand, if you concentrate and follow that is, which was what I did, and I tried my very best by the way, and I think at the end I grasped it alright. Every shot, every scene is just exquisite, stunning visual and sound, the characters are perfectly portrayed and most importantly the story is staggeringly intriguing and breath-taking, and I meant staggeringly. I found that there were some logical issues however it is kinda unavoidable with films playing with dreams and reality and all that, plus nothing was ruined really, quite enough isn't it, sometimes the explanation is really just up to the imagination of the audience. Can't help but jumping on the bandwagon this is simply the best I've seen in quite a while.

From about a week ago, a quick snap in the morning since I've realised it's been too long that I've done one. Old gears: Damir Doma cardigan; Ann Demeulemeester & Rick Owens layers; The Viridi-Anne pants. Not many details to be seen as the mirror is fairly dusty.

I've been wanting to put these out for a really long period but I just never did, and I don't really feel like typing tonight. Some old shits, well mostly.

I bought this some time ago. I could only find a couple t-shirts lying around but the label does speak the word "special", to me. When James Jebbia had the door opened in downtown Manhattan, it completely changed the game. Despite the fact that there have been some strange collaborations which I'm not particularly fond of over the past couple years, and yes here we have the Warholian theories come into play once again and indeed, Supreme is about business, but just like Glenn O'Brien had said, "...it doesn't mean it has to betray its spirit." Supreme always consists of a powerful message, a strong graphic and image, an attitude. Over the years it has been staying true to its roots no matter what it does.

One thing though, Yosuke Kubozuka was probably among one of those who made it big in Japan, yet I didn't see any images of his in the book, shame.

Nothing beats an Asian girl rocking Supreme. I forgot what the source of the scan is.

White Collar. I rarely start a show when it just airs, but we have an exception here. What gets better than a show filled with cool handsome thief, hot chicks, flashy clothes, artsy stuff all over the place. And please don't kill off Mozzie.

And, here's another exception. I've been longing to watch this, The Walking Dead. My obsession with zombies began with Bio Hazard 2 (aka. Resident Evil II). I just can't get enough of it!

The Big Bang Theory? Meh. The I.T. Crowd. Yes, I started it a long while back and it is by far, perhaps the most hilarious shit that I've ever watched.

I don't know where I've been but this place is not abandoned.

I haven't made too many purchases and yet I don't know where all my money went, despite having a few new toys to play around with, and I don't know when I'm gonna be able to find myself a suitable coat, it was a miracle that I survived the last winter. Oh well there's not much I do know apparently.

This funnel-neck coat is badass man, real bad. It all seemed fine, you know, all good, good as gold in fact. It just didn't feel right when I put it on. I was counting on this motherfucker and now I have to look again.

These days the "design" part is really of a less important matter. I think I bought the pants about half a year ago and it is now too cold to wear and guess what, I have to hunt down another pair of pants.

These were actually a grail, the multiple-pieces design is clever whilst the leather, well can pretty much tell from the picture they are fucking nice however, when it comes down to practicality, these are shit. I love Okaniwa san's work, I really love the label but man, how much time on average does it take for you to wear a pair of gloves? That's right, these take five.

The research goes into how technology embraces fashion these days, or the other way round if you like. I'm personally not exactly a fan, being a traditional and conventional and nostalgic person but I have to admit the Uniqlo HeatTech is doing a pretty damn good job for me, it's affordable and it functions, give it a try if you haven't.

So what about the new life. So far, so good. Consider this might well be the one and final year for me to be in school, it is actually a pretty interesting experience to be surrounded by artists and umm, artists wannabes... It's not the first time that I was asked why am I not on Facebook, why don't you have any pictures uploaded on your page and blah. What can I say. "I rather walked down the street naked" says Phoebe Philo, "I couldn't think of anything worse". Not that I'm that resisted mind you but all of a sudden, I have a deeper connection and synchronization to the work that the new Wonder Girl produces, it's just funny isn't it. One of the labels that I would certainly like to recommend, check out Céline ladies.

I sat there, looking at the blank screen waiting. A sign, a signal, anything, but there was nothing. I felt like there were some creatures inside my mouth, slowly crawling out, I wanted to throw up but I couldn't, they were just words.

I turned around, "Now what?"

"Last night I was waiting for a whirlwind but instead I met you, I was trying to kill you, you know that?"

I shook my head, forced a smile:"I thank you very much."

"Hmm."

She literally gave me a headache. But then come to think of it, almost everyone around me, nearly everyone I know would seem to enjoy giving me a headache. Obviously you can't have everything you want. "Nothing is perfect." Isn't that just the gayest thing to say, but it's true, gay, but true. These people would continue giving you a headache whether you want them to or not.

There is this chick I'd known for more than a decade. Pretty face, fragile heart, and with one of the shallowest and most pretentious soul you would ever going to encounter on the face of the earth I tell ya. She's so full of herself, so damn full of herself. Bloody hell. I felt sorry for these men, these men who were constantly chasing after her like a bunch of dogs and couldn't wait to have a lick on her miserable arse, I felt sorry for them, I really do. God I began to feel sorry for myself for knowing this person for so damn long now.

Having the slightest bit of thought about her is enough to give me a royal pain, and that list of names would go on forever let alone this woman lying on my bed wearing my Rick Owens shirt, "It's actually very comfortable to sleep in." Her exact words. It's not a silk blend, it's just cotton, but a very delicate piece made of cotton, butter-soft, no doubt it's "comfortable". Bloody hell. I am indeed one of those superficial arses who cares about nothing but his clothes. If there's a sudden fire I would grab nothing but those things hanging in the closet with my escape. I would probably need to grab my hardrive too though, and some show-off books, and some lousy records, and some other stupid stuff.

Okay the self-deprecating humor isn't exactly humorous anymore. Let's just hope there won't be any fire and I should probably pay attention to this thing in front of me right now.

I took a closer look at her. Short hair, slender shoulder, the rest I can't really tell much because she's holding a book in her hands and it's Norwegian Wood. She just muttered Toru Watanabe. I've read every single piece of work by Mr. Murakami, the ones that were published of course, and it bugs me that Norwegian Wood is the one book that most people have heard of or read. It's not bad, but it's a love story, certainly not a bad love story afterall but still, a love story, if there's anything else you wanted to add to that, you are a fucking illiterate loser. It's about to go onto the big screen by the way, starring Kenichi Matsuyama, I like that guy a lot actually.

"What's your favourite?"

"Of what?" I said.

"Murakami's novels. You don't strike me as the type who would love Norwegian Wood."

'You don't strike me as the type who would love Norwegian Wood.' That would be the last thing I expected to hear from a 20-year-old(ish) girl I just met less than 24 hours ago. So which one is my favourite. Dance Dance Dance is definitely among the top of the list but there are other stories which I was definitely intrigued when reading, if I have to come up with a precise answer I would have to recall all of them first, which is mission impossible given my state of mind for the time being.

That she wanted to kill me? To be honest, I don't see death as that much of a bigger deal by now. It was 1996, both my grandma and my grandpa died of cancer, at the same day, different hour; When I was 19 one of my best friends was hit by a car doing I-don't-know-how-many-miles-per-hour on the road at 2am in the morning, she died instantly, it happened right in front of my bare eyes, quick as a flash. I stood there and I couldn't move a finger I couldn't yell, I was only 2 steps behind her. I was drunk, she was drunk, and so was the driver. I could still recollect the vivid details of when my grandparents lied on the hospital bed, when I had blood all over my face when she was hit by the damn car. I cried my heart out during my grandparents' funeral, I was only nine, but I didn't shed a single tear drop when my friend died 10 years later, though sometimes alone at nights, I wish it was me and not her. It would happen to anyone, give or take. Indeed, death is just a part of life, I'm almost immune to it already. But what happens when death takes place as in my own life? Would I be able to look down and see how each person who was once closed to me react when my death touches them? How they would adapt and continue to live their lives? Is that where she was getting at, letting me to find out all that by myself? What about the bloody whirlwind, what the hell was that about?

I'm not her biggest fan and she's not my favourite actress either, and I have not seen the movie Twlight, unfortunately. I was trying to focus on this article that I was writing for this column and linked, linked, linked, I stumbled upon this photograph. Although the two might have nothing in relevance I don't know, the black-and-white portrait as well as the youth spirit somehow reminded me of works by Hedi Slimane in a certain way.

Twilight was big, it was everywhere, and it certainly made her big too. I first heard of the name when someone mentioned a certain similarity between her and Jena Malone not very long ago, then I started to look around on the encyclopaedia and here we go, Kristen Stewart.

Into the Wild. There's a hell lot more that could be said about the film itself relative to Kristen's performance because, the role that she played in wasn't exactly that important, plus the rest of the cast were extraordinarily, oustanding, even the narration from Jena Malone was simply exceptional. But she did good, the young Kristen, she added something very different and yet closely correlated to the whole set.

In the Land of Women. As the film title suggested, the script is about a (lucky) young lad's story being involved with a bunch of women, and a young girl. Kristen was adequate enough there and she fit in perfectly with her part, being able to demonstrate a high-school-teenage-girl's inside rebllious world, struggling to deal with family issues as well as awakening to her puberty to find love.

The Runaways. Dakota Fanning, Kristen Stewart, Michael Shannon, some names guaranteed to lift your eyebrow, and I think the entire cast duly delievered. You probably won't find anyone better to star as Joan Jett than Kristen. A magnificent rock 'n' roll show put on by the girls. Just a Twilight girl with a pretty face? Well look again.
