I have decided to put in more effort. for the finals. and for myself. for the sake of myself. Life never is easy. I always liked an easy life. However, I really don't think I will get one. Competition is crazy, yes I agree. However, I don't give a damn about it anymore. I shall stand where I am standing. Nothing is going to move me.

It is really quite some time since I have started contemplating what to do. I shall just do it.

It is useless to fight in this endless competition of brain power. Stamina won't matter. It only matters is the capacity. If you don't have the capacity, how much hard work won't matter. This is university. We just have to admit it. No matter how hard you work, you won't be climbing up the steep slope of the bell curve. More than often, we slip down terribly. This society is a cruel one. We pit our brains against one another just to see who gets a brighter future.

Commitment

I think many people have commitment problems. I am one perfect example. I prefer my life to be free of commitments, CCA-wise. I don't find the natural need to find some activities to participate in. I don't like feeling busy and end up lying on bed at night to realize that I have an hectic life. I like my slow, rotting, mundane life at home. Put in a bad way? You call it lazy. haha. Thats mainly why my life is so void of achievements. WELCOME TO MY LIFE!

Talking about commitment, my commitment to blogging had its high and lows. Sometimes I just feel like blogging everyday. But I sometimes I just lose the motivation to blog suddenly. Can't explain why.
Had nice pizzas with S22 people yesterday. second time I have been there and it tastes better than pizzahut. To my horror, I came back to realize that my family ordered pizzahut for supper. haha. so nauseating.

Recently, I got addicted to maroon 5, especially infatuation and never gonna leave this bed. awesome songs! Glee also has some nice songs.

Wow. It's been ages. really. A year has passed. my 21st year on Earth being a person. What have I learnt on the way? I can only expect things from myself and only myself. Expectations are not everything in life though. While others are leading their colorful and eventful lives, I'm just living my own. Colors and events aren't important to me just as long as I have what I need with me. My family.
Would I turn back to find that I was colorblind in the past? Maybe. I am not spontaneous and I know that very well. If you don't, don't call yourself my friend. My life isn't a success story. I'm just another typical John. More typical than I think.

A new year with new expectations.

Concealing is not what I do. You want to cover up that ugly crack in your life? Go ahead. Just remember I saw the crack underneath and it is staying that way. Concealment won't bring you up the ladder. In the end, you will realize the ladder was not even there. You will only fall back to the cold hard solid ground to find that all you have done was just stupid and a waste of effort.

Sometimes its just so difficult to breathe in school. The pressure to excel even though you know you won't. The failure in expectations. The fall from dreaming high. The people around you who aren't satisfied by their results. Content is the word. Result isn't. My life will not only revolve my CAP. CAP won't limit my life. Contented I shall stay as long as I tried my best.

Victory needs preparation. Preparation I shall make.

It sucks to know that one of your loved ones has a deadline. A deadline really sucks sucks sucks sucks. How many times of suck must i type to show how much it sucks? that's the only vocabulary I can think of right now. Humans have a deadline no matter what. We are just getting closer to it every birthday. Explain why we should be happy about it? Every minute means that we are stepping away from birth and nearing death. Why aren't we worried?

All the smartie pants walking around in school acting like they are dumb! omg so scary. I am only crapping here because I have no other avenue to chillax and vent out all my blabbings. I hope Uni people will never find out about my blog haha! if not I will be date!

Talking about chillax! I went for K-Pop concert. My first concert ever in my life. HAHA so Sua-gu(naive in hokkien?). Everyone had lightsabers except for me haha. It's ok though ...it didnt reduce any highness or euphoria everyone have seeing their favourite idols! Seriously most of the people who went for the concerts are kids! I think there are primary school kids there too! Concerts are so fun! I heard Taylor Swift is coming to Singapore too! Wooohooo I can't wait.

While i am in the midst of my excitment, exams creeps in. Day by day, it gets nearer and nearer to me. I am totally not prepared for it. AND there is the bell curve to squash me flat. I swear whoever invented the bell curve system is a animal. He believes in survival instincts. Sigh. I will be at the sea bed in this case.....

As I have mentioned in my previous posts, university life in Singapore isn’t as easy as I thought. Ok maybe I didn’t even think it was easy, but it is really like hell. The thing is I am in FASS, the faculty that was thought to be the slackest of all. I don’t understand how people can be slack when the workload is so heavy? I cannot even think of my opportunity cost in terms of assignments when I choose to have entertainment over it. Incurring these costs is a thing while trying to pay them off is another. One is easy as ABC, the other is excruciating.

I haven’t been hanging out in school a lot with my OG friends. For one, I don’t know some of them well enough to be comfortable studying or hanging out with them. Secondly, it’s just plain awkward to have nothing to talk about other than school work. Therefore, when I am in school I will be in the library. Will anyone in NUS have an idea that I exist? Haha.

I haven’t been posting as often as the period when school just started. I am sure we all know the reason by now. I just can’t keep complaining how school sucks now but I know I will miss school after I graduate which is like a million miles away. Being able to graduate is another thing though. Wish me luck!

Before I entered university, I was thinking why people want to last minute work? It screws up their life totally. Now I have come to understand that we don't have a choice at all.... The assignments, lecture notes and readings just keep coming. When u are done with this week's article, u realize it's already Sunday. And another wave of readings will hit you hard on your head again !

I had been studying hard in the school library for the past few days. And I am not near from completing all my dear tasks. As much I would like to sit back and relax, it's totally impossible. (even though I spend the whole night watching drama.)

I guess I won't be able to blog as often I thought. Nthe only reason why I am doing this now is because I can't sleep. The stress is getting way to heavy. The smart people who get everything and the arts-talented people. They all have the upper hand in this match. I just don't want to leave this game so fast. Keep me in !

Tonight I have been researching how to increase the traffic on my blog. If traffic is low, that means adsense earning will be low. Even if it's high, there is no guarantee people will click on your ad either. However, if my content is able to attract people, I will be happy enough. I hope search engines will be able to show my blog soon enough since I already submitted my blog.

I know the strict guidelines of adsense. I was thinking if someone tries to set u up by coming back to your website and spam clicks, wouldn't he succeed? I do not know the basis on which google fixates on to ban people from frauds. But wouldn't this be unfair to the abiding publisher ? That's just food for thought.

TGIF. It's thank god it's Friday in short. However, this will be the last gratitude I be having for Fridays because tutorials are about to start. My life would get busy soon enough. All the 1500 word limit group essays and stuff to come. University life is about this isn't it ?

It's the arts - sde bash tmr! It will be held at zouk. Woohoo. However, I am inclined to think that the bash wouldn't be fun at all as seen from the NUS bash last year I went to. People didn't dance even when the DJ from butter factory came? How anti-climax right ? Let's see what I will see later!
