Hey guys I have an outfit posts today It was the outfit post that was going to be worn to the Tiffany & Co event yesterday Minus some accessories (I forgot to put them back on) But then I got called into work Work was good though Worked with an awesome team which always makes it worth it At work, I'm going through a hard decision right now They want me to become a Charge Nurse So to charge or not to charge is the question We will discuss a little later the pros/cons Here's the outfit

I think I've started a billion posts with that title. But I am back from Internet darkness and moved into my new house! Yay! I didn't realize how much junk we had until we started moving it all. I'm glad we had that yard sale or it would have been ten times worse! On with my Europe post. Yes another one, I know they keep coming but I'm almost done. Promise! Today's post is about Stuttgart and the PORSCHE and Mercedes museums. If you don't know me at all then you don't know that I LOVE cars. I grew up around mechanics and have loved racing cars down the road, My driving record can vouch for that. When I went to Germany and saw that the Porsche museum was super close, I knew I had to go! So my cousin and I went, who by the way also loves cars! We just come from a family of car lovers. Be prepared for car picture OVERLOAD!

If I could just get one ride in this thing it would make my life complete! lol

I'm a big fan of BBS rims, PS.

Amazing architecture in this place!

How convenient there is a dealership across the street, I had to go buy one! lol

I pick this one...Oh Jeffie!

Or I'll take this one for the little one(Not pregnant) one day

Went to the city center too and saw...frozen fountains :)

I'm not much a fan of Mercedes but I had to go.

Europe Part 6 Heidelberg Germany

These first 3 pictures aren't Heidelberg but a little town that I'm not sure the name of.

All I know about it is it's well known by the military folks for having

amazing dumplings.

Yep went and tried them...I'm not a dumpling fan.

But had a great experience.

Went to open the cabin this past weekend.
Jeff and I had this conversation on the way up Jeff I know I'm forgetting something. Me Umm swimsuit? toothbrush? Jeff Nope Nope Time goes by... Jeff I know what I forgot...pizza toppings Me Oh easy fix we will stop in Evanston Jeff Ya, at least it wasn't underwear or socks Me Oh..dang it...yep I forgot those!
It was a good thing we only stayed a night.

My aunts, uncles and grandparents (minus 3)

They like to stand and discuss for hours.

Since today is the last day of nurses week I thought I should do a top ten list.

Top ten reasons You know you're an LDS Hospital ICU nurse..... #10 You wash your hands before you go to the bathroom #9 You can talk about poo and sputum while eating #8 You go home and still hear ventilator, monitor, and pump alarms #7 Rectal tubes are your best friend #6 You see the same order 'Ambulate tid' written everyday even though you already ambulate tid #5 You know the best way to restrain someone #4 You know it's busy when you get the 0500 text message #3 You praise the person who gives you a Propofol drip and live it up the whole shift #2 You know that Propofol drip will be gone by the next time you get there and the #1 reason You'll never forget your stop cock again after that last bronch I just want to say I have the best coworkers and without the amazing team I work with my day would be horrible! Thanks LDSH MSICU staff you guys rock!! PS my scrubs are on their way!!

Europe Part 5 Cologne Germany

We are in Cologne Germany today! I really wanted to check out The Dom

and since it was on the way to my cousin

I thought it was the perfect opportunity to stop by.

On my way there we saw this crazy spectacle below.

I can't figure it out!

Here is the famous Dom.

Isn't it amazing!

The inside was even more amazing, but I don't have a good lens to really showcase how amazing it is.

So my 50 mm 1.8 will just have to do.

Then we had to visit the Love Lock bridge which was right outside the Dom

Then we had to see these cute little houses!

After trying to get to the train station and showing up late, I was grateful that the train itself was late.

It was slightly stressful but the German people were so sweet and nice to help me out.

Oh and don't run and grab bottled water thinking it's normal water, nope you'll probably end up with carbonated water in a bottle. They love that stuff, and it was such a disappointment when your super thirsty.

Next stop-yummy lunch in a small German town!

Open Street

Road the bicycle around at the first annual Open Street.

We went a little late but there was still a lot of people and it was fun to see so many

bikers, roller bladders, and people using the Green Bikes or the Bike Share Bikes.

We saw Yoga in the street, there was Zumba in the street, and Police trying to ride Tall Bikes.

Horse'n Around

Yee Haw! Had to go out to the barn to fix a motorcycle. Yes there are motorcycles at the barn,

oh and horses! I found out that I'm not a very good horse photographer, why?

Because I'm scared of these animals. Not run away screaming scared of them, more like I won't get in the corral with these animals to get up close and personal with them. Its way too scary, I don't know if they are mad or happy.

But while I was there I did take outfit pictures...I would be a horrible blogger if I didn't take them. But don't fret, you get them and horses and motorcycles! Motorcycles, one word. LOVE! This year I'm going to finally get my motorcycle license and ride my bike around. Last summer I didn't ride much because my bike was always breaking down on my mid-ride and I got so frustrated, but Jeff ordered my new parts and I should be zipping around everywhere soon!

Why hello you readers out there. Not much to say but holy moly it was freezing at the Bee's game, hence the fact I'm wearing 5 million layers, had a blanket and really wanted my beanie! They weren't doing so well, pitchers were kinda slackin in talent :( and had fun mountain biking earlier today, We made it to the very top of the trial, huh Nikki(not me my friend)

I kinda look sloppy in these pictures. Sloppy joe...I'm out!

I wasn't too excited about going to Florida. Reason being I've been to Fl 3 times in the past year. I know poor me huh? I always feel it takes 5 million years to get to Fl and I hate all the toll roads!!
BUT this trip turned out perfect and exactly what I needed! I spent my time sunbathing by the pool and hanging out at the beach=perfect!

There has been so much going on this last week I just felt I needed to do a post about it all. I feel like there has been so much sadness around the country between the Boston bombing and Texas explosion.

I will never understand how someone could plan to injure or kill innocent people. What are the thoughts that go through those peoples minds? As a nurse I've been around a lot of death. I've had patients that know they are going to die and are at peace with it, and then I've had patients that died unexpectedly. Those tragic deaths are hard, hard on the family and hard on the staff. I can't imagine how much guilt is felt by those runners that lost family members waiting for them. To them, know it's not your fault and know that they loved you enough to wait! I heard a story on the news that a father was running and lost his son, his wife has a traumatic brain injury, and his daughter lost a leg. I'm sorry and know my thoughts are with you and your family along with any other victims of this situation. To the bombers. It's not my place to judge, but just know I hate you. Not only have you injured and killed innocent people but you also have taken away the feeling of safety at events of joy from people all over the country. To that reason is why I have so much hatred toward you. May you receive the punishment that matches the severity of your actions.

Dear people of West Texas, I'm so sorry about the tragedy that has struck your town. I hope you know that you are all in my thoughts during this rough time and I commend the firefighters and police officers that risked their lives to put the blaze out, you are true heroes. I'm sorry for the hard times of suffering ahead but know that there are plenty of people to reach out too, me being one of them.
