Recently, I've been scaling back my makeup and keeping it to the bare minimum. I have cut out foundation from my routine and although my skin doesn't look as "perfect" without it on I think it's been appreciating the chance to go makeup free for a couple of weeks. I'm not sure I'll keep it up long term but it's surprising how my skin actually doesn't look that bad with just concealer and

Recommended Reads #1

I have always been a huge fan of reading since I was a child, you'd rarely see me without my nose buried into a book and I used to fly through them so quick my parents had to start scouring through charity shops and second hand stores to try and keep down the cost! When my beloved Pulp Friction Scrub came to an end, I knew I'd be going straight back to Soap & Glory for my next purchase. They're pretty much my go to brand for bodycare that isn't super cheap but isn't overly pricey either, a good middle ground.

I decided to go for The Scrub of Your Life as it has the Original Pink fragrance which is one of my favourites from the range but

The Body Shop Mango Body Sorbet | Review

My sister happened to pick this up for me for my birthday and I'm so happy she did. First up, how gorgeous is the packaging? It's so summery and the Mango smells AMAZING, really sweet and fruity. What's so great about this moisturiser though isn't just the scent, it's the consistency of it.

I have been super lazy with my blog recently, I've got loads of things I could post about but have completely neglected to, oops. I've had this post in my drafts for the longest time and decided it was finally time to hit publish. We've just been away for a week to our favourite little spot in Wales. I've been going there since I was 10 weeks old and I also went when I was pregnant and for our first family holiday too so it holds quite a lot of memories. We rent a lovely house right on the edge of the sea every time we visit and it has such stunning views. Oscar turned 1 on 5th June but I thought I'd share a couple of snaps on here anyway. Oscar was actually pretty grumpy on his birthday, he woke up crying at 4:30am which he hasn't done for months and he was tired and out of sorts for most of the day, poor little man.
We just decided to keep the day fairly low key until he's a bit more aware that it's his birthday so we had a little

May Favourites

This month I've actually got a few favourites, sometimes I stick with the same products for a while but I've been changing it up recently.
First up is MAC's Pure Zen, it's my perfect, peachy nude and I've worn it most days. It looks great with minimal makeup and with something a little more full-on.
If you've read my recent posts, you'll know my skin has been playing up recently.
