College

2012-04-19T01:55:00.001-07:00

So now as I am writing this post I'm procrastinating one of the many papers I have to write this week. I'm paying my college to keep me up at night writing all these essays. Anyone else feel the same way?

EDIT: Ironically after I finished writing and printing my paper I went to sleep and actually had 3 hours of sleep before class xD

2012 NYIAS

Well last weekend was the New York International Auto Show, did anyone go?

I went with a couple buddies who drove down from college, we went spent the day at the show and just chilled. We went during the opening weekend and it was busy but still fun, plenty of new cars to look at and get inside of. There were plenty of new cars being shown on the floor. The best of them (in my opinion) were the Acura NSX, new Dodge Viper, and the BMW i8.

Est Priced at $80,000+

Valentines Day

2011-02-14T17:22:00.000-08:00

So my last computer decided to stop booting up and I've pretty much been living off the internet on my phone until today when my new Apple came in, been pretty happy with it so far. Hopefully it will pay off by not breaking easily.

So, its Valentines Day. My friends are kind of divided on this "holiday" usually its the ones who are in relationships that look forward to it while the people who are single just don't give a crap.

Just found this to be pretty amusing

What does everyone else think of Valentines Day? Seems to me like its also the day where you're made painfully aware that you are single if you go out and see all the other couples.

Apple

While I enjoy my apple products it really amazes me how much they charge, especially their computers. Just bought myself a MacBook Pro for school, it was almost murder to push that order confirmation button, $2,500. A similar PC computer would have cost about half of that but for school work I find that the Apple does it best and it just seems all around more sleek. I've used PCs for most of my life and just recently decided to change but their prices are just horrible.

Does anyone else feel the same way about Apple?

Superbowl Half Time

2011-02-07T15:00:00.000-08:00

So..the half time show. I assume a majority of Americans watched it last night, was it just me or did the Black Eyed Peas suck? Fergie in particular. Her singing just pissed me off that I walked right out of the room, she also had absolutely no business singing Sweet Child O' Mine..although I didn't expect that Slash would be there.

Did anyone else feel like they were watching Tron but with bad music? Their outfits and all the dancers seemed to be straight out of the movie. All that was missing was Jeff Bridges.

So what did everyone else think of the show?

The Mechanic

2011-02-05T21:08:00.000-08:00

Just saw this movie last night with some friends. I had never seen a trailer so I didn't know what to expect. I wasn't exactly disappointed but I wasn't thrilled either. It seemed like the movie just filmed and cut together a bunch of action-assignation scenes/cars blowing up/gunfire.

Despite this the scenes were pretty cool and for those interested it does include some nudity (as expected with action movies). I only wish that they expanded on the plot a little. The ending was a bit of a disappointment but I won't spoil it here for those who haven't seen it yet. I would still recommend seeing it if you're a fan of gunfights, car chases, and explosions.

Cool poster.

Does this make sense? You sell off a perfectly good truck (that you just spent $5,000 in modifications and maintenance) in order to buy a used Honda civic. And in roughly six months you again plan to sell off the civic before leaving for college. He just can't seem to make up his mind. Everyone else says hes being just stupid but he doesn't believe anyone.
