Ice T & Coco: Is it true?

Sidebar reports that according to an email they received, this whole Ice T/Coco/Ap9 charade is just a bunch of BS for publicity and rating for their reality show and also to mutually help out AP.9′s non-existent career as a rapper, because apparently Ice T rents out Coco’s azz to the higher bidder on a regular basis and I hope he taking a good 10%-20% off the top.

Quoted below is the letter:

“Ice T and Coco have had an arrangement since their relationship first started, because he knew what he was getting into. She was an industry whore from the jump and Ice T took FULL advantage of her looseness by letting her go to whatever man white, black, …whatever that had enough money to pique his interest and Coco couldn’t be more excited to make the extra money which sometimes is 100′s of thousands considering she has a show in Las Vegas where a bunch of millionaire (old money) hangs out and willing to pay whatever to get a piece of that thick white cake. As far as Ap.9 situation it was a clearly a beneficial agreement to help his career and Coco’s. As you can see since the pictures surfaced they have been on a blog, news, tv atleast 3-4 times a week and Ap.9 is almost a household name for all the wrong reasons and Ice T hasn’t flinched at NONE of it, because he set the whole thing up himself. What man in their right mind would still be there if their wife were just out and about sleeping with no-name rappers for nothing? Its all staged. Trust me.”

At first i couldn't even imagine this, but it actually got me thinking.I mean, through-out all of this nonsense, Ice has been mum on the issue. We basically got no reaction from him whatsoever. I mean, dude are you blind and deaf? Don't you even see the photos all over the net or haven't you at least read what Ap9 did with your ~~whore~~ wife?

Growing up, my mother always told me that an unmarried girl/woman should always keep her legs shut. She said that the moment you opened them to any guy, he would lose interest in you immediately and he would never marry you. She said once he tasted you, that was it, he would leave you for "new meat".

So because of that, I grew up to be stern when it came to sex. I was never never going to give it away! But then I fell in love one day. And eventually I did the deed. It felt so good giving it to someone I cherished. The relationship lasted seven good years and we only broke up because he was having a baby with another woman.

Time passed and I got into relationships with other guys and I thought I had learnt my lesson so I held it back. I was strictly a no-sex-outside-of-marriage person. I followed that religiously until a time when I wanted to get married and I thought I had met the right person. So I started engaging again. The aim was to get pregnant then inevitably get married because in my culture, once you get pregnant, the responsible person has no choice but to marry you. But then things didn't go as planned because I failed to get pregnant and he left me.

A month later after that relationship, I met an awesome guy and we hit it of instantly. He was such a great guy and I thought the only way to keep him was not too have sex with him because I remembered how my mother always told me that to keep a guy interested, you have to withhold sex from him. That way, he would be intrigued by you more and will make him want to make you his wife. He used to ask for sex and I would always say no until he finally found someone who have him what he wanted and broke my heart in pieces when he got married right under my nose because they were expecting.

So I cried about it but moved on quickly. I got into a relationship with a guy who'd been my friend for over 5 years. The guy had always asked me out but I'd always said no because I was attached. So we do have a good time and all but one day I go to his house and I see there's another woman there. When I finally agree to see him and ask him to be truthful with me guess what? He tells me that he loves me so much and actually wants to be with me but he only went out to look for another woman because he wanted sex!

All of this finally got me thinking. Does it really matter whether you have sex with a guy or not? Does giving him sex make him lose interest?

This is what I have concluded; in this age that we live in, why a man stays with you has nothing to do with giving him or withholding sex from him. There are so many reasons that would want to make a man stay with you or wifey you which are independent of sex. Your character, your personality and the way you react to situations are the things that can guarantee your future with any man. That's the thing I've learnt after all these experiences. I wish I could explain this to my mother but off-course she'll think I've gone mad.

When you say we don’t really talk to you or reveal ourselves to you, we wish you knew just how much we have had to suppress about our desires, pains, fears, and vulnerability over the years to conform to the script of masculinity that we are given. Sometimes we don’t open up because we are afraid of what we will find. We are also afraid that if you see who we really are, in all our flawed humanity (and not the flaws that annoy you, like being untidy or driving fast), you won’t like us.

Men do communicate, often very directly, but women sometimes cannot accept how simple what we have to say is. We seldom play games—we aren’t that sophisticated. If we don’t call you for a couple of days after a date, it is because either we are afraid you will think we are stalkers (and we will call on day three) or we aren’t into you. That’s all there is.

We are as nervous as you are about s*x; I don’t care what you’ve heard. Your anatomy is a mystery that nobody bothers explaining to us. Even when we think we have mastered one woman’s body, every body is different. We feel inadequate if we can’t satisfy you in bed, and since no one has told us what to do with feelings of inadequacy, we project them onto you. Sad but true.

We are very insecure about how we look and what you really think about us, and we are excited when you do small, nice things for us like make coffee or come with us to the barber or just buy us a good book. We’ve been trained never to show this side to you, but it is there.

We are not subtle creatures. You might think that when you play with your hair in our presence, we know that means you like us. We don’t know for sure. Men who do are bad men (sorry, guys!). And anything you’ve been told about playing hard to get is wrong.

We crave cuddling and hand- holding, maybe even more than you do.

Chris Brown Smokes Weed On Stage

News from Ghanacelebrities.com report that Chris Brown showed up with and actually smoked weed on stage. Reports are that he showed up late for the show after having been paid $1 million. When he finally got on stage, he had the audicity of puffing on some weed while on stage.

Few hours to the Chris Brown concert, he showed up in Ghana with a frown face. The organizers were supposed to be the ones carrying the frown face since he failed to show up for the all important unveiling and sod cutting ceremony which the President of Ghana (John Mahama) even attended.
Chris Brown’s arrival was received with bliss by many Ghanaians of which some tweeted along the lines ‘at least he is here now so let’s go and enjoy his electrifying performance’. He failed to be in the country on time for arranged radio interviews but what can we say? He has our $1 million…
His great performance which lasted over an hour was characterized with vulgar language which Ghanaians are not used to… Instead of promoting the rLG or throwing in a word or two about the brand, he decided to take the piss again by promoting the use of marijuana when he knows or ought to know this is an illegal substance in many countries including Ghana.
Whiles performing one of his songs, he happily asked if there were weed smokers in Ghana and proceeded to say “if anybody’s tripping on you smoking weed, fuck them”.
He pulled out a rolled ‘joint’ and smoked it live on stage… No Ghanaian entertainer dare do this openly in Ghana and go free. The police would have been on him or the crowd would consider it extensively offensive. However, Chris Brown came, did it and flew away!
The concert was great but the piss take by Chris Brown leading and during the concert was absurd! Surely, no one pays another $1 million to be disrespected…

My question is, if weed is illegal in Ghana and if the Ghanaian police arrests offenders, why was Chris not nabbed? Does his status as a celebrity make him immune to certain laws? Plus, that $1 million dollars for a show is just ridiculous!

Bobby Brown Sentenced to 55 Days in Jail

Bobby Brown has been sentenced to 55 days in jail after pleading no contest to driving under the influence and to driving on a suspended license. The license had been suspended due to a prior conviction for driving under the influence.

In addition to his jail time, Brown was placed on 48 months of summary probation, ordered to pay a $500 fine plus penalty assessment, complete the an 18-month alcohol program and comply with standard DUI conditions for his first charge.

On the second count, the he was placed on 36 months of summary probation, ordered to pay a $300 fine plus penalty assessment, install an ignition interlock device—an alcohol Breathalyzer that prohibits the driver from starting the car if they blow above the limit.

Brown, who was not present in court today but represented by his attorney Tiffany Feder, will report to jail on March 20. As a condition of his surrender terms, he is to attend three A.A. classes a week.

So, out of all the girls from Destiny's Child, Kelly rowland is my favourite and i ain't ashamed to say I STAN FOR KELLY!!!

Let's face it, back in the day, all the other members of DC were known as Bey's back-up but Kelly rose to claim her place in the music industry. For me, she's the most beautiful out of all the DC members. I remember seeing the video for No, No, No for the first time and thinking to myself, "dang, she's beautiful!"

A representative for Jackson confirmed Monday that the musician and Wissam Al Mana wed last year.

This is Janet Jackson's second secret marriage. She secretly married Rene Elizondo Jr. in 1991. They separated in 1999.

The 46-year-old Jackson first tied the knot when she was 18 to singer James DeBarge, which lasted three months in 1984.

In a joint statement to Entertainment Tonight, Jackson and Al Mana said their wedding was a "quiet, private and beautiful ceremony."

The couple also said they would like privacy and "are allowed this time for celebration and joy."

Kandi Burruss seemed to ruffle up the feathers of some Bible- thumpers and gospel music fans this weekend after she debuted her new single, “Stay Prayed Up” on last night’s episode of Real Housewives Of Atlanta. She snagged gospel great Marvin Sapp for the inspirational track where she sings the lyrics:

"I stay prayed up, that gets me by, That’s how I made it through my darkest times. Yeah, I’m a sinner and that’s no lie, Thank God my prayers are heard because he knows I try"

Although the song shot straight to Number 1 on the Itunes Gospel charts after the show, it has received tons of criticism from people who lead perfect lives (sarcasm)…who feel as though Kandi is the last person who should be singing a gospel record since she has a very popular sex toy line and openly talks about sex during her weekly web stream segment Kandi Koated Nights.

Kandi took to her Facebook to address the criticism and posted:

Popular singer and former Big Brother Africa Housemate Goldie Harvey is dead.

She died about an hour ago in the arms of her best friend, Denrele Edun at Reddington Hospital in Victoria Island.

Goldie just came back from the US today where she attended the Grammy awards.

Speaking to Linda Ikeji, Denrele said: "Goldie just came back from the US today he said, and was so full of life, then something went tragically wrong."

Kennis Music have confirmed the death. They released a statement via her Twitter and Facebook page shortly after news went viral on the internet about her passing away.

"It is with heavy heart that I have to inform you all that Goldie passed this night shortly after arriving Lagos from LA. May her soul rest in the eternal peace of the Lord," the message read.

A Valentine’s Gig with a Catch

Not like any Valentine’s concert you have ever been to…it’s a two hour musical show centred on the not so starry-eyed side of love with an exciting catch.

Singer/songwriter, Hope Masike together with Steve 'Dhongi' Makoni and Filbert Marova featuring songstress Carmen Hwirari-Mutengo will stage a concert christened, “Not Valentines Again” at the Alliance Francaise in Harare tomorrow (Feb 14, 2013) at 7:30pm.

The show will also carry a charitable twist with 50% of the proceeds going towards fundraising efforts for The Special Schools Festival scheduled for June 2013 at St. Giles.

Characterised by solo and collaborative performances, the concert will lightly and wittingly explore those “sweet nothings” (you know what we mean) like in Steve Makoni's song “Kana Usipo,” heartbreaks as in Miriam Makeba's “Forbidden Games” and careless love expressed in Karyn White's chant “Super Woman.”

Masike said, “My goal is to hold a series of shows called, Mbiracentric Concerts which fuse Mbira and different music styles with the aim of expanding Mbira and taking it to its full musical potential.”

This year, the vocalist added that in the pipeline are shows that will marry Mbira with Rave and Sungura and with each Mbiracentric Concert, 50% of all proceeds will be channelled towards a charitable cause.

“We want to encourage Africans to support charities too, I personally do not believe in most forms of international aid to Africa. I believe in empowerment which allows the recipient to stand independently, so through this initiative, it shall be Africa giving to Africa,” added Masike.

This is the day that the Lord has made and i'll rejoice and be glad in it!

After so much procrastination, i finally decided that i'm going to get back on my diet and i'm on it. Below is my weight as of now and i'm not happy about it at all!

Image-wise, i look okay. Yes, i'm big, but everything is still in its place :-)

One of my friends started her diet (General Motors) last week on Monday and by Sartuday, she had lost 5kilos. She told me about it in the morning, today, and that's when it hit me: i've been wasting a lot of precious time and it's time i do something about it! It's 12:41pm and since morning, i've been having nothing else except lemon water. I haven't experienced any hunger-pangs yet (which is a good thing) and the lemon water doesn't even taste bad at all! Let's see how the day is going to progress..

Another huge thing happening today is: i'm getting back into the studio for the first time in months. I'm excited about it because i'm going to be working with one of the best producers in the country at the moment. I feel it's high time i release my debut album, been a long time coming, anyway. I'm supposed to have released this album in 2007 but then i got lazy through the years and put the whole thing aside, but now IT'S TIME!!
