DirtyRumors: Teyana gets punched?

In the midst of what was a hip & happening evening at Club Liv in Miami on Sunday night, Teyana Taylor & Stripper were spotted fist fighting! Read what happened inside!

Rapper Hazel-E reached out to TheYBF.com and said that the singer/actress visited King of Diamonds strip club where the stripper Skrawberry works. Skrawberry got jealous that Teyana was receiving all of the attention and allegedly started talking crazy to Teyana.

With performances from Fabolous, Wale, and Mary J Blige with a special Happy Birthday rendition to Queen Latifah, eye witnesses spotted Teyana Taylor and Stripper Skrawberry exchange words. It was stated that Stripper Skrawberry approached Teyana to apologize but when Teyana picked up her drink from the table, Skrawberry sucker punched the girl and all hell broke loose! Ms. Taylor's crew jumped in and Stripper ~~Strawberry~~ Skrawberry was thrown out of the club and that's not even the best part.
An hour or so went by and Ms. Taylor and company were on their way out of Club Liv when Skrawberry's sister jumped Ms.Taylor from behind, yanking on her hair and fight #2 started! The two men that jumped into the fiasco allegedly ended up shattering a window of the club.

And you know there's always subliminal tweeting after event event *rolleyes*...

As reported by NecoleBitchie, Stripper Skrawberry wanted to let the world know that Teyana will get shine off of her if she tells her story. Lol. Here are her tweets below:

SMH. If someone punched me like how Teyana experienced, I would be pissed and punch the person right back but that doesn't apply to Teyana though. There have been wayyyy too many times I have heard about her terrible diva antics on petty topics that result in her fighting with someone like she's Xena the warrior princess!

In September 2011, TMZ reported that Teyana was on the movie set of "Gang of Roses 2" filming with director Jean Claude La Marre and got in his face shouting because her pleads to be taken home by car service due to an aching tooth were denied. Jean Claude La Marre allegedly shouted back and next thing you know, her shirt was ripped open, she had a bloody tooth (soar tooth was bleeding due to the scuffle), crew on the movie set had to separate the two, and Teyana didn't get that car service. A scuffle that could of been prevented on both parts (especially with a grown 40-something year old man) but diva antics for car service pretending you done made it like you're Mariah Carey? Umm no.

Shortly after that incident (November 2011 to be exact), Teyana was spotted brawling AGAIN with NBA player Nick Young's girlfriend (of the LA Clippers) at Suppler Club as there were suspicions of those two having more than just a business relationship (whatever that would be). Nick and Teyana were reportedly spending a lot of time together for a period of 3 weeks that lead to the fight between his girlfriend and the singer. Nick had to separate the two and left the party with girlfriend in hand.

I don't even want to get into the time Ms. Taylor fought with a girl over Chris Brown (her "best friend") in April of the same damn year because I'm tired and I'm sure you get the point. There comes a time when you need to stop blaming the people around you and take responsibility for YOUR actions. Don't get me wrong, I am sure that she is a nice and funny girl, as the 21 year old displays her personality every chance that she can get but it's clear that people keep messing with this chick probably due to the fact that her status and presence doesn't hold up to much. That's all I gotta say about THAT!

Lil' Kim's BET Performance at Rip the Runway

For someone who looks completely disoriented and unable to function (see here), I personally didn't believe that Lil' Kim had the capacity to perform. But she showed me! She really held it together and showed a mean strut on the runway!

But as always, I noticed on the web that others disagreed with my opinion and said that her hips looked weird, that she didn't shut it down, and it was a waste of time. What do you think about Lil' Kim's BET performance?

Dirty Rumors: Stacey Dash gets fired..again!

I really tried to defend Stacey's honour in my Fashion inspiration for February, despite of rumours of her being let go from the set of Single Ladies. She has always been one of my favourite character actresses since her 'Clueless' days! (and I don't care if that dates back to 1995!) But apparently her bad attitude and crude remarks have her fired from her latest movie project Supremacy.

Many cast members have made numerous complaints and comments and you KNOW producers weren't having that! Accoring to MouthtoEars, Stacey was rude, giving orders and attitude all around.

Come on Stacey! Hold down your career; it's ok to have your own opinion but treat others like how you would want to be treated -- with RESPECT.

Dirty Fashion : Ashanti & new Music Video

Hey Ashanti, I see you! I must say I am enjoying these new found spring colours this year - pastels. On that note, the 'Woman You Love' songstress was at Power 99 for start her promotion rounds yesterday morning.

I guess because I (up in Canada...well Toronto anyways) am excited about summer with all this unusually warm weather these last couple of weeks, I can really appreciate this look. What I DO NOT appreciate is the fact that everyone feels compelled to wear those Red Bottoms. Don't get me wrong, they are lovely shoes and definately a statement shoe at its best, but ladies, we are blessed to have many talented designers who provide quality shoes of different shape, cut, colour, and/or price as well! Just saying...

I'm happy to say Ashanti has finally dropped her new video for her single 'Woman You Love'. She spoke to Philadelphia's Power 99 about turning down SEVEN offers from major record labels and launching her own record label called Written Entertainment (now that's bossy!) and what inspired her to title her album 'BraveHeart'. Ashanti explained the motive behind titling her album:

“The metaphor that I took was basically in the movie you have the Europeans, you have the soliders from London and the U.K.,” she said. “They have the big horses, they have the shields, the guns, the weapons… They’re all armored up. And then you have the Scots. They’re all raggedy, homemade weapons, and paint on their faces. It’s not an even playing ground, so I feel like with the [major labels], they’re bossed up. They have the big engine and all the artists signed to them and with the indies, it’s depending. It’s homemade, it’s homegrown. It’s a lesser engine. So the metaphor I was using was being brave and putting your blood and guts into it and fighting passionately to win.”

Ashanti has always been an artist to put 100% into her work. Kudos to her!

Now others call it a cry for attention but I don't see why she would need that seeing the fact she has endless number one hits and consistent sold out shows. On the come up: Azealia Banks

If you don't know, now you know - Azealia Banks is the newest addition to Female Rap and let me tell you this girl has a sick flow!

It's no doubt that this 20 year old from Harlem not only has a strong background in music ( graduated from La Guardia High school of Performing Arts, a reputable school-look it up ) but she's a versatile artist; proof of this is caught on her catchy single "Liquorice" (below), wind it down track "L8R" or her blunt dance track "212". She's already generated a name for herself, has flown to Europe for concert tours and such, and has caught the eye of several record labels! Don'r believe me? The chick has performed for Karl Legerfield in Paris, Head of Chanel - now that's big movement. I'll be looking out for her because she's fresh and brings something new to the table. Period.

Banks was signed to record label XL Records and was working with producer Richard Russell but apparently left that same year because of conflicting ideas. Ms. Bank$ stated:

"Richard [Russell] was cool, but as soon as I didn't want to use his beats, it got real sour. He wound up calling me 'amateur' and the XL interns started talking shit about me. It just got real fucking funny. I was like, 'I didn't come here for a date. I came here to cut some fucking records.' I got turned off on the music industry and disappeared for a bit. I went into a bit of a depression."

Good thing she stayed true to her artistry. The artist went on to say that's when she moved to Montreal, Quebec (Woooo Canada! lol) and began recording music on her own. That's when she recorded the hit 'L8R' and other songs using Youtube as her tool to distribute her music. Can't deny her hustle!

She knows she's good and has been known to have a not so great attitude, disputing that she should of been chosen to be included in XXL Magazine's freshman list; instead T.I's new artist from Australia, Iggy Azalea was chosen instead. Azealia tweeted a while back :

“How can you endorse a white woman who called herself a ‘runaway slave master’?”

and

“Sorry guys. But I’m pro black girl. I’m not anti white girl, but I’m also not here for any1 outside of my culture trying to trivialize very serious aspects of it.”

Iggy didn't respond directly to the remarks but tweeted :

“You can’t block my blessings! Today I’m celebrating! Get with it or kick rocks!”

“First female freshman. Ever. Period. Thanks world! I used to stick XXL on my bedroom door, now I’m on the cover. Life is great.”

Here's my opinion whether you want to hear it or not - XXL Magazine was in the wrong for putting Iggy in that lineup BUT we all know that Azealia could of handled that better. Come on girl, we're rooting for you!

Seen debuting her song Grand Scam, Azealia gives the audience of Hip Hop something to look forward to as I believe she definitely has what it takes to make it far. But of course, like so many (*cough* Nicki Minaj *cough*) I hope she'll also be able to grow and EVOLVE without becoming sidetracked from who she truly is and not what Corporate may tell her to be.

Peep Ms. Banks spitting Grand Slam below at the O2 Academy. It has been confirmed that she has begun filming her second official single Liquorice in Paris with Lady Gaga's stylist Nicola Formichetti as her video director. This should be interesting...

Oprah to give first interview to Whitney Houston's family

It's official: Oprah has been able to snag the first interview of the Houston family since the untimely death of Whitney Houston. I think this a wonderful chance for the Houston family clear up any rumours or speculation about Whitney's death.
The interview will include comments and views from Bobby Christina, her daughter, her brother Gary Houston and sister in law Patricia Houston. Looks like her mother didn't want to complete the interview...I don't blame her; no parent should have to bury their child.

On the red carpet for BET's Rip The Runway, Lil' Kim made a huge appearance performing "Crush on You" and "Its all about the Benjamins" and "If you love me".

I'm going to be honest, I didn't watch Rip the Runway for my own reasons. As for Kimberly - no hunny this one was a miss for me. You need to get help and I say with love and support. What people fail to realize is that the music industry is a VERY shady industry that will turn normal people with "everyday" concerns and insecurities into individuals we barely know or recognize through straight manipulation and pressure. I don't know what is going on in her personal life so I will give her the benefit of the doubt but bottom line is this: there is no way that the people who love me would allow me to step out looking like crazy Sue in a sparkly dress regardless of day, career, and/or event!

I am still sure that the crowd was thrilled but I think I'm going to retreat and have a 90's night, play some music and reminisce...

Unlike some artists (you know who they are) who decide to throw together an album in hopes that their fanbase will eat it up, Melanie puts work into her artistry and I can't hate on that. What I want to see more from her is performances. One that note, I'm going to say she should of been the one to sing the Canadian National Anthem at the NBA All-Star game this past weekend! Teyana, like any other girl, admires her body and likes to take photos. *Rolleyes* This isn't the first time nude photos of this chick have leaked.
I just want to get this out there, I do NOT take nude photos of myself and if I was a celeb, I would stick to that formula too! Read what she had penned in her open letter after the jump.

Look I’m human, & just like every girl in this world, I admire my body so i take pics just like EVERY other human being. However my phone that was stolen Witch my phone was also connected to my twitter. So i guess the hacker felt the need to have a field day and leaked personal photos, and also tweet mean & hurtful things about me. I ain’t gone front It really hurt my feelings that someone would be so evil and mean. I would never leakphotos like that of my self. I have so many blessings and opportunities ahead of me & I have way more class & respect for my self as a young woman. So there’s no need to seek attention. Round the way News: Terrance to pay over $50,000 to estranged wife!

Terrance Howard looks like he's going to have to shell some cash in order to make his soon to be ex-wife happy. Terrance was accused of domestic abuse by his estranged wife Michelle, who went on to say that since the two got married in 2010, he had "violent assaulted" her on numerous occasions. Later on, Terrance accused Michelle of being an "evil racist" and had been blacklisted from Hollywood filmmakers because of the domestic abuse case. Terrance also reports how Michelle use to call him a n****r and then tried to extort money from him while claiming she would have the "Russians" kill him if he didn't do what she wanted! Wow.

Now the LA Courts have stated that the Iron Man star is to give over $50,000.00 to hold her over until they work out a long-term arrangement and he has 30 days to do it! According to TMZ, Michelle is has the following expenses:

1. $10 K in Temporary support (food, rent etc)

2. $20 K for Lawyer retainers

3. $20 K so the Accountants can be paid

4. $1800 for her Range Rover car payments

SMH. I hate divorces. In this case, it's probably for the greater good because these two don't seem to get along at all! But I have some thoughts about this case First off Terrance, should the accusation be true, hitting women is not cool. Second, you cannot marry a woman of Asian descent and because you both got into a fight, call her an evil racist. Why would you marry her (or anyone from a different background than yours) in the first place if there's a possibility she might be one? Do you think it would shock anyone if you did? Thirdly, you need to tell her to either get a job or get rid of that car because no one is forcing her to have a damn Range Rover! Terrance, you are too talented for this mess! Just saying..

I am just as surprised as the next person after hearing this from Lil' Wayne himself on the radio (not so surprised when I heard that Christina Milian has officially signed with the label as well...I don't think she's as talented as Ashanti, sorry) but this will give Ashanti the much needed promotion and exposure she was once accustomed to. Like Kelly Rowland, Ashanti needs to get a good team behind her in order to get a spotlight she deserves.
