Education: Literacy ratio is 60% now, will reach to 100%

Entertainment: We have 659 multiplex now. In a decade, it will be 1000. By 2011, our film industry will be of 68800 crore.
Mobile: There are 40 Crore mobile connections now. It will reach 100 Crore by 2015. Every minute new connections 240 connections are added.
NRIs: 1 Lac NRIs will return to India in next 5 years.
Solar Energy: We will be producing 20000 Megawatt by 2020 and 16 cities will be using it.
Internet: Internet advertisement business will be 1200 Crore by 2012

WHAT CAUSES OUR DREAMS?

Let us begin by saying what does not cause our dreams. Our drems do not come form "another world. "They are not messages form some out side source. They are not a look into the future, nor do they prophesy anything.

All our dreams have somthing to do with our emotion, fears, longings, wishes, needs, memories. But something on the "outside" may influence what we dream. If a person is hungry, or tired, or cold, his dreams may include this feeling. If the covers have slipped off your bed, you may dream you are on an iceberg. The material for the dream you have tonight is likely to come form the experiences you will have today.

So the "content" of your dream comes form something that affects you while you are sleeping (you are cold, a noise, a discomfort, ect.) and it may also use your past experiences and the urges and interests you have now. This is why very young children are likely to dream of wizards and fairies, older children of school exams, hungry people of food, homesick soldiers of their families, and prisoners of freedom.

To show you how what is happening while you are asleep and your wishes or needs can all be combined in a dream, here is the story of an experiment. A man was asleep and the back of his hand was rubbed with a piece of absorbent cotton. He dreamed that he was in a hospital and his sweetheart was visiting him, sitting on bed and stroking his hand!

There are people called psychoanalysts who have made a special study of why we dream what we dream and what those dreams mean. Their interetation of dreams is not accepted by everyone, but it offers an interesting approach to the problem. They believe that dreams are expressions of wishes that didn't come true, of frustrated yearnings. In other words, a dream is a way of having your wish fulfilled.

During sleep, according to this theory, our inhibitions are also asleep. We can express or feel what we really want to. So we do this in a dream and thus provide an outlet for our wishes, and they may be wishes we didn't even know we had!

While most kids of her age love to go out and play, 7-year-old Elaina Smith found solving adults' emotional problems on the radio to be a better pastime.

She became the youngest radio agony aunt after she replied to breakfast show host Andy Goulding's request to listeners for advice for a woman going through a break-up.

The young girl called up the station and told the woman to go out bowling with friends and to drink a mug of milk.

Her answer proved so popular that she was given a weekly slot on the show, where she now counsels thousands of adult listeners.

"When people tell me their problems on the radio, I think about it very hard and very deep down inside of me and then give them my answer.” And "I always have an answer," she said.

The advice Elaina offers is laid-back and honest.

Michelle Obama breaches protocol

US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama are on first official visit to the UK. US First Lady broke protocol by placing her arm around the Queen Elizabeth II when she met her at the Buckingham Palace.

It must be noted that Michelle Obama placed her hand on Queen just a reaction of Queen putting her hand on Mechelle.

The queen also took it lightly and was seen smiling throughout meeting.

It was enough to disturb the British traditionalists and send the media in a panic.

Aishwarya Rai's representatives are in negotiations with the toy giant, Mattel, as it plans to transform the iconic doll into a Bollywood star and sell it throughout India. If it turns positive, the actress will be the first Indian face of the doll "Barbie". It will be named "Bollywood Barbie".

The company which recently celebrated Barbie's 50th birthday expects to cash in on the popularity of bollywood star.

Aishwarya Rai's face is well-known throughout the world as she had acted in Hollywood films, too. To name few " Pink Panther 2 " , "Mistress of Spices", "Bride and Prejudices" etc. She is accepted in Hollywood thanks to her green eyes. She will have the doll modeled on her with those eyes and outfits of the doll will be designed by India's top designer.

She is among the four Indian film stars to have their waxwork image displayed at Madame Tussaud's. The others are her Father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Diva Helen.

Producers, Multiplexes

When a film is released, profit sharing, among producers, multiplex owners and distributors, is always a problem. This difference may force to postpone the release of the film. So Indian Producers and Distributors Forum has decided put a hold on release of films which were to be released from Apr 04, 2009.

The production and distribution houses have proposed 50:50 profit sharing irrespective of the star cast or budget. Producers are of the opinion that so far they have provided content for the multiplexes without any revenue sharing pattern. The revenue sharing model is ad hoc and is dictated by the multiplexes on producers as well as distributors. Multiplexes only share the revenue generated from the sell of ticket.

The multiplexes are yet in developing stage and the owners have to invest in maintaining and providing better movie experience to the viewers. It should be noted that this has come when IPL matches are on card, so loss to the multiplexes will not be to that extent.

During calendar year 2009, there is Friday on Feb 13, Mar 13, and Nov 13. This happens only once in 11 years. It is believed that 13 is unlucky and Friday on 13th of any month is most unlucky.

Reasons for the above belief:

There was a ship "Friday 13" with British Navy. This ship started journey on Friday on 13th and didn't returned.
On Apr 11, 1970, Project Apollo of Nasa, "Apollo 13" was launched at 13:13 (01:13 PM) was set on fire after 2 days, but all the astronauts were saved. The date was 11-04-70 (i.e. 1+1+4+7 = 13)
Many hospitals skip bed or room number 13, toll buildings skip floor number 13 and many airline terminals skip gate number 13.
President Roosevelt never traveled on 13th of any month and never hosted 13 guests at a meal.
According to a numerologists 13 is suffered at its position which is after 12. As twelve is a complete number - 12 months in a year. Zodiac, 12 gods of Olympus, 12 labours of Hercules, 12 tribes of Israel, 12 apostles of Jesus, 12 days of Christmas and 12 eggs in a dozen.

Precisely 8.30pm on March 28 the diesel generators will be switched off on the Chatham Islands, a small archipelago off the east coast of New Zealand, heralding the start of the greatest community event the world has ever witnessed - Earth Hour 2009.

Terror struck at the heart of cricket when masked gunmen attacked the bus carrying the Sri Lankan cricket team to Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Five cricketers including Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara received minor injuries. Six security men and 2 civilians dead so far.

Not only the test match, but the tour is called off and the Sri Lanka Team took off for home.

The Sri Lankans were on their way to the Gaddafi Stadium when their bus was attacked by five armed terrorists near Liberty market. Habibur Rehman, chief commissioner of police, said 12 masked terrorists fired at the Sri Lankan team bus. The gunmen shot at the wheels of the bus and also injured the driver. A grenade was also thrown at the bus but it missed.

Google Features

Gmail, the most popular email program, has just improved email attachment feature. Formerly, user had to attach each file one-by-one. To attach many small file, not only it takes more time, it is boring (in my opinion).

Now, Gmail has added a feature recently. Now you can attach more files at a time. If all the files are in a queue, then select first file and press Shift key and click on last file. OR if the files are not queued, then press control key and keep it pressed and go on clicking the files you want to attach. It will save your time. Not only that now it shows a progress bar also. Google has once again prove that it is working for us to make the surfing experience an enjoyment.

You can't attach .exe or any program files to email for security purpose. Here is the trick (assumed you are using Word 2007)

1. Compress the program files into zip file format.

2. Open Microsoft Word or Excel (any version that support embedded object).

3. Click to insert menu.

4. Click Object button under the text ribbon.

5. Click Tab -Create from file.

6. Uncheck both the boxes -A) Link to file and B) Display as icon.

7. Browse to select the zipped program file.

8. Click Ok.

9. Save the file.

Exit Word.

Attach the word document as a normal attachment.

Indian Middle class and expenses

Consumer outlook survey was made by KSA Technopack recently. In this survey 60,000 people from 20 cities of India were covered. That showed that citizens expenses towards food is declining and that for mobiles, internet and servant, which are status symbols, are on increasing.

The new generation need mobile more than nourishment. In last 2 years, food bill is reduced 6% and that for mobiles and internet has shoot up 200%. Even today villagers spend 90% of his income on foods, whereas citizens are spending 28% for the same.

Upto the year of 2000, one used to save some part of one's income. Now we don't want to save. 3.7% of income was saved in different format during 2002-2003, which declined to 2.80% during 2003-04. Credit cards and payment facility in installments have been adopted by citizens. They overlook the interest to be paid for such transactions. For credit cards, the interest comes to be more than 5%.

In past, one land line phone was sufficient for a family of 5-7 persons. 2 landline phones in a home was just a dream. Now, every one needs a mobile. A penny saved is a penny earned! who cares.

Now-a-days, middle class is concerned mainly about children's education and health of family. High fees do not guarantee good education. In the same way, when someone in the family is ill, Doctors, Pathologists and Chemists are there to make sure the budget of the family gets disturbed.

Now if you wonder what part of his income, he is using after charity, the answer is disappointing.

અરાવલીની એકબીજામાં ગૂંથાયેલી ગિરિમાળાઓ વચ્ચે આવેલ તારંગાનો ડુંગર ભવ્ય ભૂતકાળ અને ઉત્તમ ધર્મ ભાવનાઓની ઝાંખી કરાવે છે. પવિત્ર મંદિરોથી વિભુષિત અને રળિયામણી ટેકરીઓથી વીંટળાયેલુ આ તિર્થ જૈનોનાં પાંચ મુખ્ય તિર્થૉમાંનુ એક મહાતિર્થ હોવાનુ ગૌરવ ધરાવે છે.

કલિ કાલસર્વજ્ઞ હેમચંદ્રાચાર્યની ભાવના અને મહારાજા કુમારપાલની ભક્તિની કીર્તિગાથાનું એક મધુરુ કાવ્ય તે તારંગા તિર્થ. હાલનું દેરાસર (જૈન મંદિર) અને તિર્થસ્થાન તેરમી સદીમાં રચાયેલા છે.

મહારાજા કુમારપાળને અજમેરના રાજા અર્ણોરાજ પર અગિયાર વાર ચઢાઇ કરવા છતાં વિજય મળ્યો નહીં ત્યારે મંત્રી વાગ્ભટે મહારાજા કુમારપાળને શ્રી અજિતનાથ ભગવાનની પૂજા કરવાનું કહ્યુ.પૂજાવિધિ કર્યા પછી કુમારપાળે અજયમેરુ (અજમેર) ના રાજા અર્ણોરાજ પર વિજય મેળવ્યો. ત્યારબાદ પોતાના ગુરૂ હેમચંદ્રાચાર્યના ઉપદેશથી તારંગા પર મંદિરની રચના કરીને શ્રી અજિતનાથ મૂળનાયકનું બિંબ સ્થાપ્યુ. તારંગા પર અનેક મુનિ-મહાત્માઓ મોક્ષે ગયા હોવાથી તે શત્રુંજયની પ્રતિક્રુતિરૂપ ગણાય છે.

આ દેરાસરની રચના વિ. સં. ૧૨૧૧ માં થયાનો ઉલ્લેખ મળે છે. દરવાજો પુર્વાભિમુખ છે. દાખલ થતાં જ અંબિકા માતા અને દ્વારપાળની મૂર્તિઓના દર્શન થાય છે. ચોક પૂર્વ - પશ્ચિમ ૨૮૦ ફુટ જેટલો લાંબો અને ઉત્તર - દક્ષિણ ૨૧૨ ફુટ જેટલો પહોળો છે.

મૂળ ગભારો ૧૮ બાય ૧૮ ફુટનો છે અને આખો આરસાથી મઢેલો છે. તેમાં મૂળનાયક શ્રી અજિતનાથની મૂર્તિની બેઠક સાથે ઊંચાઇ ૧૧૨ ઇંચ છે. પૂજા કરવા માટે બન્ને બાજુ નિસરણીઓ મૂકેલી છે. નીચેના ભાગમાં નવગ્રહો અને યક્ષ-યક્ષિણીની મૂર્તિઓ છે. મંદિરના ગુઢ્મંડપનો ઘેરાવો ૧૯૦ ફુટ્નો છે અને ઘુમ્મટ અષ્ટભદ્ર અને ષોડષભદ્રવાળા આઠ સ્તંભો પર ઉભેલો છે. પાછળથી મુકાયેલા બીજા સોળ સ્તંભોએને ટેકો આપે છે. વચ્ચે ઝુલતું કાચનુ ઝુમ્મર ધ્યાનાકર્ષક છે.

એક બાજુ મંદિર ના શિખરની ઊંચાઈ આંખોને ભરી ભરી દે એવી ભવ્યતા આપે છે તો બીજી બાજુ શિલ્પસૌદર્ય રેલાતું હોય તેવો અનુભવ થાય છે. પ્રત્યેક શિલ્પાક્રુતિ એકબીજાથી ભિન્ન છે. સામાન્ય રીતે મંદિરની અંદરનો ભાગ ઈંટથી ચણી લેવામાં આવ્યો હોય છે. જ્યારે અહીં મુખ્યત્વે કેંગરનાં લાકડાથી મંદિરના માળને ટેકો આપવામાં આવ્યો છે. વર્ષો વિત્યા છતાં અને મંદિરની મોટી મોટી શિલાઓનો ભાર ઊંચકવા છતાં કેંગરનાં લાકડા તૂટ્યા નથી. આ લાકડુ અગ્નિથી બળતુ નથી. એને સળગાવવાથી એમાથી પાણી ઝરે છે. અને થોડી જ વારમાં એના પર રાખ વળી જાય છે.

The recession in USA extended its nails to Europe, Asia in a short span. Help of Crores of dollars to survive is insufficient and yet 4 trillion dollars are required. None of the so called experts predicted such situation at start of the year.

Lehman Brothers which has seen and survived great recession of 1930 could not survive this recession. Merrill Lynch merged with Bank of America to survive of loss of 7100 Crore US $. Giant auto firms, Big 3 of Detroit, namely General Motors, Ford and Chrysler demanded help of Government and were given support. American Federal Reserve helped AIG by US $ 8500 Crore.

Inflation in Zimbabwe crossed 23 Crore percent. In India inflation last declared is 6.4%, just for comparision. To buy a ticket in a local bus, they need a 1000 Crore of Zimbabwe dollars.

Many lost their jobs as company tried to cut expenses.

80 Thousand lost their lives in an earthquake in China.

Obama won American National Election.

In Kenya, riots claimed more than 1000.

Pakistan: Era of Mushrraf came to an end. After terrorist attack on Mumbai and Kasab, live arrested terrorist, has confirmed he is from Pakistan. But Zardari kept on demanding more proofs and didn't take any steps to stop terrorism across broder.

'This is a farewell kiss you dog." : One Iraqi reporter at a meeting at Bagdad threw a shoe targetting Bush. But Bush successfully ducked. Few games were developed immediately in which player has to target bush with a shoe. The games became popular in hours. He has become a hero of Arabians.

Olympic 2008 was hosted by China and it captured 51 gold medals. From India, A Bindra won gold medal for shooting. S Kumar won bronze medal for wrestling. V Kumar won bronze medal for boxing. These were the only medals won by Indians.

Terrorist attack on Mumbai on Nov 26, 2008. For the first time, they did not plant bombs and ran away. They opened gunfire at CST (A crowded train station), a popular hotel, Cama Hospital. Then they hid at 3 places - Taj Hotel, Oberoi Hotel and Nariman House were attacked. and they fought with NSG Commandos for about 59 hours. It was a point to notice that how perfectly they were trained and from where they got such a big quantity of weapons. One terrorist was arrested alive. The eyes of the world were on one stage when Kseniya Sukhinovia from Russia was crowned Miss World in a glittering, star - studded ceremony at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, the City of Gold.

The 2008 Miss World Festival, a record breaking year in the number of contestants taking part, has seen 109 beautiful and talented contestants spend an unforgettable month in South Africa. However, there could only be one winner and the applause rang out in the packed Convention Centre as Julia Morley, Chairman of the Miss World Organisation and of the international panel of judges, announced the winner`s name.

Kseniya Sukhoinova smile spoke a thousand words to a worldwide TV audience of over 2 billion as she was crowned by last year`s Miss World, Zilin Zhang.

Google is gladly providing well written and highly related ads that are closely chosen to match the content on your pages. You do not have to look for them yourselves as the search engine will be the doing the searching for you from other people’s source.

You also don't have to spend time in choosing different kind of ads for different pages. Google makes it very easy for you, with no codes to mess around for different affiliate programs.

You can concentrate on providing good and quality content, as the search engines will be the ones finding the best ads in which to put your pages on.

You are still allowed to add Adsense ads even if you already have affiliate links on your website. One of the things you can do, however, is to utilize Google's custom palette to customize your Google ads, making them to appear a part of the web page itself. The idea here is to match background and links to match the theme of your site. People on the internet today are trained to click on a link that is blue, and if your Google ads have the same theme as your web page, it makes the Google ads appear to be a portion of your content.

You can also filter up to 200 URLs. This gives you a chance to block ads for the sites of the competitors. Remember that it is inescapable that Adsense may be competing for some room on web sites that all other revenues are sharing.

Look to sites that have high page rank, and carefully observe their layouts, their content, and placement of their ads. A little time spent doing research can put dollars in your pocket down the road.
Publishers have the option of choosing to have their ads displayed only on a certain site or sites. You can also have them displayed on a large network of sites if you so desire. Google now has the option to allow other people to advertise on your site. This only makes good sense. If you are marketing to a tightly defined slot, you can place your own ads, written by you, on site that allows this option. The choice is yours; depending on what you think will work best to your advantage.

It is significant to note that you cannot choose certain topics only. If you do this, search engines will not place Adsense ads on your site and you will be missing out a great opportunity in making hundreds and even thousands of dollars cash.

Topics to be avoided include gambling, firearms, ammunition, tobacco or drugs or pornographic. The robot of Google will detect the pages and Google will blacklist your site and may deactivate your account, too. These sites have abundant traffic, but in absence of Google ads, your revenue will be nil.

Note that Google does not like duplicate content. Try to post original contents. Google will not deactivate your account, but the page rank of your pages (which Google determines depending on many criteria) will not get improved.

With all the information that people need in your hands already, all you have to do is turn Google Adsense into your own cash cow. It all boils down to a win-win situation both for the content site owners and the webmasters or publishers.

In my opinion, image ads are the best. It is more eye-catching than text ads. So more visitors click on the ads and you will earn more revenue. The size of the ad that gains more clicks is 336 x 280, 728 x 90 being the second. This may not work on all the sites, but it is suggested.

Cola and Pepsi

"You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time" quote from Abraham Lincoln is the most suitable for Pepsi and Coca Cola which are multinational companies and market their cold drinks in India. The cold drinks are of no nutritional value and have harmful pesticides. They hide this fact while advertising their products. Film stars and cricketers are used in the advertisements to misguide the youth of India.

This fact was put in public by Delhi based Center for Science and Environment (the report). They had experiment on the cold drinks and proved that they contain pesticides more than allowed quantity. This report and Swami Ramdev's aggressive propaganda against these drinks helped to reduce the sell figures of these companies. Foods and Drugs department of Maharashtra have banned sell of these drinks in schools and colleges. Now Sports department of Center has started advising sportsperson not to act in advertisements for cold drinks. Due to this, these companies have to introduce fruit juices.

Sell figures of Coca Cola is reducing since 3 years after the reports. Since the report, sell of Cola drinks reduced about 60%. Even during summers, when generally the sell goes up, did not improve any sell during these three years. Aggressive advertisements also did not work.

During 1977, the ruling party then, had kicked Coca Cola from India. During 1991 Government of Narsimha Rao allowed Pepsi to market its products in India. Thereafter NDA Government gave permission to Coca Cola to sell its products in India. In absence of Coco Cola, Thums UP had covered major market share. But Coca Cola took over the Thums Up. Aggeregate sell of both the companies is about Rs. 6,000 Crore. But Coca Cola has achieved break-even but Pepsi is yet not making any profit mainly due to advertisements and other overhead expenses.

Sharad Pawar and committee accepted that the report is right and drinks contain pesticides. But as usual, as the companies donate huge funds to all parties, the drinks are not yet banned in India. Rajasthan Court had ordered to print on the bottle the quantity of pesticides. Even the Supreme Court ordered the same, but the companies didn't obey the court and do not print the same as on today.

Increase in sell of fruit juices and Chhaas proves that Indians are now more awareness towards health. Sell of fruit juices in bottles and tetrapack has crossed Rs. 1,800 Crore and is increasing 30% per year. And more interestingly, Indian companies are leaders in the field and Pepsi and Coca Cola are behind them. "Real" a brand of Dabur has captured 57% of market share. "Tropocana" of Pepsi could not capture even half of the share captured by "Real". Amul sells curd, Chhaas and Lassi under the brand name "Masti" and the sell is increasing rapidly. Amul sell flavoured milk under the brand name "Cool". "Energy" milk of Aarey is quite popular in Mumbai. When a glass of juice of sugarcane is available in Rs. Rs. 4-5, only idiots get ready to pay Rs. 10 for drinks with poisonous ingredients.

But these companies are multinational and have plenty of money. Now they are introducing foreign drinks as "health drinks".

Terrorism: Attack on Mumbai

Lot of is written on this topic and the media has covered almost all aspects of this terror attack. In my opinion to some extent media has shown some maturity. Though somewhere they have repeated the same question "What you feel....." which is actually ridiculous.

But here I will like to say something else.

It is learnt that they arrived Mumbai by boat. Gujarat Government has warned Maharashtra Government of terror attack. What did Maharashtra Government did ? When the terrorists attacked CST railway station (formerly known as VT station), police were present there and wanted to face terrorists, but they were armed with a lathi (Bamboo sticks) only. Did the government want them to fight terror with a stick ? Weapons used by terrorists were highly advanced. One of the police staff present at the hotel Taj operation, said to the writer of this article that there were not even 50 bullet proof jackets available for the force. If you have seen the operation of Hotel Taj, commandos covering the hotel from outside were not provided with helmets even. Is budget the problem for investments in jackets and helmets ? I have the suggestion. If ministers are forced to live like a layman without any security guards, petrol cars, other allowances. Then India can save such a big amount that India can declare a war with Pakistan.

The coastal guards have failed in their duty. A sailor from Navsari had faxed the names of possible supporters of terrorists. For your knowledge, during off season some sailors work as detective and if any unknown boat is found their area they inform the government. Even warning from them was ignored, what if a layman gives any information. I know it is impossible to search each and every person for 24 hours. But it is not difficult to trace if you have clues from local people. Only will is needed to do the job. Two patrolling boats are useless as no drivers are appointed to run the boats. Isn't it surprising ?

The terrorists may not be able to move with loads of the quantity of weapons they had. Did they get the arms from some guest already present at hotel? In Taj and Oberoi bags of guests are not checked as the guests are VIP. They may have gathered the arms in small quantity and handed over when their friends attacked the hotels. On repeatedly guaranteed by the hotel staff that the commandos are at the door, open the door and come down with commandos, some guests didn't open the door. Were they protecting the terrorists ? Thereafter they were set free by the commandos and were let go as they were VIPs.

Every time when India is attacked, Government says we will do this and that. Then everything is forgotten easily. In 1993 when bomb blasts rocked Mumbai for the first time in its history, the weapons were reached Mumbai through the same route which was used for recent attacks. So after 1993 blasts, even the staff on this route was quite liberal.

As it is time for the election, resignations of CM of Maharashtra, Home Minister of center are accepted. But is this the solution ? Few of the ministers stated as usual. We will boldly face terrorism. Terrorism can't break us. Who faces the terrorism ? Ministers. NO. A layman who has to be out of home for his bread on the very next day after such incidents. Ministers need not move out for earnings. They get salary and unofficial income even when they are at home. There were 4 MPs present at Hotek Taj when it was attacked. Around 80 were killed in the attack, why not even one of the MPs ?

Parents are constantly concerned about the academic progress of their child. The progress of a child in his career is found to be far from satisfactory, in spite of putting in hours of work. Sometimes due to continuous failure, the child loses interest in his studies. What should be done, if a child does not get good marks or fails in school or college.

According to Vastu Shastra, North, North - East and East are the directions symbolic of deep knowledge and brilliance. It is in the interest of the student, that he gets the benefits of the characteristics of these directions. It has been realised and actually experienced that if a student faces North, North - East or East while studying, He is bound to succeed in his academics. He will excel beyond his belief and will shine in his field. If a separate room is to be made available for studies, then such a room should be in the South - West part of the flat, towards the Western side. In such a room, if the student sits facing the North, North - East or East directions in erect position, excellence and success will be his landmarks.

Indra controls East, Kuber is the Lord of North and Shri Bhagwan Shankara is the lord of North - East. One must pray Kuber to become rich, and always be humble to worship Shri Bhagwan Shankara so that he can bestow upon you everything you desire. At the same time to become powerful one must always look towards Indra. And that is why, one should always seek favours from all these three Deities. Therefore, if once a student is imbibed with this idea, and if he sits upright facing any of these directions, he must succeed. But, the student, whether he sits in a chair or not, must always sit in absolutely in upright position, while studying.

If a student sits for studies facing any other directions, he will no able to get more marks or even he may not be able to concentrate on his study. The vibrations received from North, East or North - East directions are very powerful, while vibrations received from other directions are not so. Rather they will make adverse effects.
