As you can see, I've made some tiny changes to my blogskin, which is the background. I really love vintage stuff la, especially pin-up girls. I would love to get one tattooed, but that will surely create an uproar among the people I know & tons of comments will be throwing in. So let's forget about that for now. Maybe if I get older, I wouldn't want it anymore, or what if I would still love to get it, it's not too late either.

AND as the title suggests, I'm just gonna share what's going on during the Chinese New Year. By the way, a day before the Chinese New Year Eve, I bought 2 dresses. But according to the previous post, I said I wouldn't spend on clothes anymore... I didn't fulfill what I said yet again. However, I don't regret though, because those two dresses are really adorable! Definitely worth it. So that was my last day working as a Kit Kat promoter with Huini & Griselda. It was only 2 days la actually. Watched "We Not Naughty" @ AMK Hub with ♥ Another touching & educational movie directed by Jack Neo. I can't believe those people who watched the movie didn't shed a tear. Must be so bloody cold-blooded. Tears & laughter accompanied me throughout the entire show. A must-watch :)

Chinese New Year Eve

This is what I've decided to go with on CNY eve... Outfit of the day:

Like everyone, I went to my maternal gramps to have reunion dinner (Steamboat) in the noon and later in the evening, to my paternal gramps to have a second round of reunion dinner (Hakka cuisine). This is what happened usually if you have a pair of divorced parents. Not a bad thing after all. I guess I did my part as a child, because it was said that if you stayed up late enough on CNY eve, your parents will be blessed with longevity. I slept at around 5am+ that day? And what was I doing this whole time... Well, none other than gambling @ Hai's. I didn't really get to partake though, coz ♥ was the banker. The total loss for the day was $70+ fortunately recouped in the last 3 rounds, if not it was over $120.

Life's been pretty dull these days. Had been job hunting with and hanging around with a handful of my girls lately. To be frank, I can't even recall what I did for the past week actually... So, I guess it can be concluded as mundane. Under microscopical view, I've went CNY shopping with my mom last Sunday, and it had been quite a fruitful one. Yeah, clothes, what else can there be. By the way, in about 30-40 clothes I've bought recently, only ONE out of the many is dress. O-em-gee, what is happening to me. I need to think about it... Anyway, I've decided to stop shopping altogether. At least for now. Those clothes I just bought can last me for awhile already. I feel so miserable and sinful as I keep spending.

The last piece of cloth I bought was few days ago from H&M kids section, a pair of pants, for myself, haha.

I've just went for my scalp treatment 2 days ago @ Vintage Salon with my boy. Did I mention that they've opened another outlet at Far East Plaza? Anyway, that was supposed to be my last session. BUT... Being the absolute weak person I always am, I've been successfully persuaded by one of the hair stylist to YET sign up another package, which costs me $408+... Why, WHY the hell did I do that. I'm jobless, know. Argh. Fml. Regrets & mistakes, they're memories made. No, they don't happen this way. Self-comfort much. My boyfriend was also exploited $170++ in the hair service he did that day too. Boo...

Talk about the movie I've just caught recently! Contraband. Yes, it's a M18 show, and I've managed to pass through, hehe. The first M18 show I've watched in a cinema was actually Hangover2, which I sneaked in. However for this one, I walked in with no fear, #likeaboss, HA. The movie was not bad! A lot of conspiracies. I would give it a 3.5/5. So long since I last rated a movie, hm.

At the same time, I've tried out 3 different jobs for the past week. One of which I walked out half time, as I wasn't really interested. Felt kinda bad towards my trainer though, she was the same age as me, and was a 6pointer for her L1R4! Some crazy people I've met... Another one was outdoor sales of some F&B booklets which was for a charitable cause at the same time. I don't really like the nature of this job, but I can earn quite a lot out of it, and it's daily pay too, so it's a plus plus point. Furthermore, I can work with friends and it's really slack. No one there to supervise us, own time own target. The last one, which was the one I did today with Jinger, being roadshow promoters! Quite an easy job, and the pay is not bad too. HMPH, what is my point of saying all these? No idea seriously, just pure ranting...

Bought a few make-up products today from Smoochiezz flea @ JP after work with J. Don't know why I keep buying them when I think it's a total wastage of money. For me, they are like contact lenses, I don't wear them often, coz I'm VERY lazy. And at the end of the day, they'll go to waste, because each and every product has its own shelf life, le sigh.

Oh! Had Glacious & dinner with the bitches yesterday. Missessssssss :(

I guess everyone should by now already know that Olevel results had been released 3 days ago. I cried like a mother fuckin' bitch before I received my results, which was pointless. But it was only because all my friends had received theirs and I hadn't. My surname is YEO, which explained why I was the few last. I was so anxious about mine, that I didn't expect myself to cry either. Weak as always, I know. So it's finally MY turn. And the water hose didn't stop, instead it became louder and larger. At first when I saw my results, I didn't know how to react. Happy or sad? Really I had no idea.

But I just cried. Not knowing if it was tears of relief that I didn't get above 13 which was what I expected or tears of disappointment that I didn't get below 10 which was what I really really wanted. Yet I figured out that the saddest thing was actually not achieving an A1 for my POA. A subject I love and always wanted to do well. ANYWAY, although I'm not very satisfied with my results, I'm contented and life goes on! I would if I had the courage to, say sorry to Ms Poon one day. Felt as if I failed her.

I submitted my JAE application yesterday, and hopefully I can get into my either 1st or 2nd choice. Will keep this blog posted about which poly I'm going after I'm informed! NO MORE IN SUSPENSE OF OLEVEL RESULTS. I'M AN OFFICIALLY A HAPPY AND FREE GIRL NOW. YAY ^^v

So, I've been seeing Rain these days, and made quite frequent visits to my Dad's. Hangout @ P's, go for interviews (Coach wanted to hire me back, but I declined). Met up with a few of my bitches, went shopping! And visited lovely's grandma just yesterday. Love homecooked food. Always.

Did some happy shopping with no.4 and no.5 today. And went Swee Choon to have supper with lovely! Life is good. And even better when my parcels are reaching me tomorrow! 30 items in total! I must be crazy. I really splurged. HAHAHA. Xoxo ♥

I hope I'm not too late to say... Happy 2012! Hope it will be a good year for everyone out there. You know towards the end of the year for the past few years, I would feel very emotional. Like so sad something's coming to an end. I guess it's because of the changes? There's always a turning point in life in that period? For instance, a Primary 6 student is gonna be Secondary 1 student this year, they will be learning entirely different things they've learnt in school & will be taught in a completely different way. They will be met with new faces, and have to make new friends, adapt to the new environment & new everything? Also, just like all the Sec3s are becoming Sec4s this year, they will be sitting for their major exam O'level in 10 months time? And that means greater discipline & responsibility is expected more from them. How funny it feels like... it was just yesterday. That I was going through all the things I've mentioned above. How time really flies. Like you don't have time to think, and everything just comes unfolding before you.

This year, I will be going through something similar yet totally different. What does entering poly means to me? For me, I think it's stepping into the real world, being an independent person, an adult, allbeit being only mere 17 years old or so. No more spoon feeding from teachers, no more nagging, no more scolding, no more pampering, no more tender-loving. We are on our own from now. Scary as it is. & that's what I'm feeling: terrified. This is 360degree change of environment. Having to trouble over what to wear for school, needing to wake up super early to get to the faraway campus, adapting to the yet again new studying environment, & lastly, not forgetting making new friends all over again. Everyone is going to go through the same thing. So, I guess everyone is feeling more or less how I feel. Deep down, a tinge of excitement as well. Oh, just gulp it down and move on.

Change is the only constant in life.

I guess my termination of work has brought forward to 31st December instead of 31st January, lol. Initially, I took a one-week leave & supposed to resume work tomorrow. Turned out that they already have full manpower and doesn't need me anymore. Sort of had that coming. My request for 1 week leave is absurd anyway. Who the hell does that?! LOL. They don't owe me anything. I dare not face my colleagues anyway because I failed them in a way. Can't be more guilty, sigh.

I fully utilized my one week break anyway (under the circumstances of not knowing that I do not have to show up for work anymore).

I did something some people might call it stupid, some people might say it's crazy on 3rd Jan. Allbeit just a very tiny one on my body. Can you make out what it is? Hahaha. I hope I won't regret in the future.

Hi, I'm here to atone for my failure to keep this blog a lively one. Although I've been blogging irregularly, I know they haven't been much of a content to even deem informative at all. So, I said to myself I'm gonna try blog about all the things that went down before 2012 arrives! In chronological order... where I've stopped, after my graduation.

We went clubbing @ Zirca that night & crashed at the hotel. (I guess I mentioned this briefly previously.) It was absolute fun! But I guess I've gotta cut down on the liquor. Coz this girl can't hold her threshold of alcohol, lol. Was drunk that night on my maiden clubbing. Too bad I don't have friends who really club. If not, that would make my life a tinge more fun, I guess?

Right after these fulfilling 3 days, I started working @ COACH Marina Bay Sands, which was the beginning of depressing lifeless me. I didn't take any photos right after that. I've always wanted to work retail because I thought it would be fun. Looks like standing for 8 hours straight doesn't seem fun at all to me anymore... But I kind of gotten used to it. My colleagues are fine, so that's okay.

Anyway, I didn't like the brand COACH previously as I always thought it was extremely typical & cheap brand. BUT THAT'S NOT THE CASE. For those of you who thought Coach bags are dirt cheap, reconsider. Coz their wallets are averagely priced at about $300-500+. And their bags are usually $600 & above. As of typicality, sad but it's true. Coach is still considered affordable when comes in comparison with higher end brands like LV, Gucci, just to name a few.

ANYWAY, I'm resigning on end of 31 Jan, so that's none of my business anymore. And might be transferring to working @ MIUMIU, if my supervisor can nail that job for me. I pray all day long, haha. But I'm glad they don't fire me, coz I'm always late for work, as per usual. Like I'm late for school all the time. I start work @ 9am, and I can reach @ 1120am, can you believe it?

I still meet up with some friends occasionally, but close to barely. Almost lost contact with them. Guess everyone's busy now, leading their own lives. But my love for movies ain't gonna be affected! I still watch them with lovely despite having work the next day, hehe. Name me all the movies, I would have watched most of them, hahah.

Rainy day

Rainy day isn't a big issue in my life. Some laments, some glees. While I, just gladly accept what the day has in store for me.

But not today.

I'm feeling pretty effed up today, partly because of the rain coz it added on to my already gloomy mood.

I regretted not stepping out of the house earlier, before the rain started. What was I doing? Viewing reebonz, looking at Prada wallets that I never could afford. At the moment. & slowly seeing the status from "available" to "sold out" made me feel so helpless.

So I finally got prepared & left the house. It started to rain. The good news was I brought the umbrella. The bad news was I still got drenched anyway. AND am gonna get fucked for being late for work, again.

My nicely shampooed hair which was supposed to smell nice, smell of the rain instead. While I was typing this via my BB, I realised my batt was draining soon. & OH to my dismay, I forgot to bring my charger too. It would not last me till tonight & I hate it when my bb died on me. Frustrated at myself, ok can.

& the last thing you would want is another occurrence of anything that would irritate. Happily I went to the toilet to release my tension, & BAM! I dropped my toilet. & parts of it flew. Though it wasn't a great damage. But annoyance done.

Of course when I'm in such unsteady mood, I sort of argued with my boyfriend. With pointless stuff. But guess what triggered me? It's because of a lame tweet that he retweeted, saying Hyuna was fucking hot.

What is wrong with me?! I don't find her hot anyway, she just looks slutty, ew. K, maybe you can sense some jealousy here, & that is because it exists.

Hi everyone, I know I'm screwed. I haven't been updating, although O's is over. I wish not to say anything about O's. All I can say is, I'm worried. Really worried for my results. They will tell in January. Not sure if that's something I'm looking forward to.

Two subjects are down: English & Maths. I can't really say I have confidence in doing well for those two papers. After all, the results were going around on the net, & for the loudest cry why, did I even check the answers. I feel so depressed, knowing most of the mistakes actually came from my carelessness.
