Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for being with us till the end of time. You are present among us in word and sacrament. You are also present in our homes, for you have said, "Where two or three are gathered in my name there I am among them". We come to you today with a great desire to belong to you more closely and to discover you more fully as the Way, the Truth and the Life.

To St. Margaret Mary you revealed your great wish to be the Centre of all families. You promised to bless, in a special way, all those who consecrate themselves and their homes to your Sacred Heart. Each one of us here has already been consecrated to you in Baptism. Today, we wish to renew this consecration with our whole heart. We commit ourselves to you, as individuals and as a family, by our consecration to your Sacred Heart. We desire to be true to you and to your Church, in our family values, our relationships and entertainment, and to be of service for your Kingdom, all the days of our life.

Lord Jesus, be with us now and always. Bid us together in your love. Open our hearts to serve those in need. Sustain us in our daily struggle to be true to your Gospel. Take away all useless worry and anxiety. Be with us particularly in time of sickness and suffering. Direct us in our moments of doubt. Protect us from snares of the Evil One.

Sinners though we are, we still trust in your infinite love and mercy. When we go along our selfish way and do wrong, follow us closely, like the Good Shepherd in search of the lost sheep. In your goodness and love lead us safely back to your fold.

Be close to us in a special way at the hour of death. Grant us perfect peace as we surrender ourselves to God in the dying moments of our life. To those of us who are left behind, grant courage and strength. May we live in the hope of one day being reunited as one family in your Heavenly Kingdom. To you be glory, honour and praise forever. Heavenly Father, I bow in worship and praise before you. I cover myself with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as my protection. I surrender myself completely and unreservedly in every area of my life to you. I take a stand against all the workings of satan that would hinder me in my prayer life. I address myself only to the True and Living God and refuse any involvement of satan in my prayer. Satan, I command you, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to leave my presence with all your demons.

I bring the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ between us. It surrounds me like a mighty wall that you cannot penetrate. Heavenly Father, I worship you and give you praise. I recognize that you are worthy to receive all glory and honor and praise. I renew my allegiance to you and pray that the blessed Holy Spirit would enable me in this time of prayer. I am thankful, Heavenly Father, that you have loved me from past eternity and that you sent the Lord Jesus Christ into the world to die as my substitute. I am thankful that the Lord Jesus Christ came as my representative and that through him you have completely forgive me, you have adopted me into your family, you have assumed all responsibility for me, you have given me eternal life you have given me the perfect righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ so I am now justified. I am thankful that the victory the Lord Jesus Christ won for me on the Cross and in His resurrection has been given t me and that I am seated with the Lord Jesus Christ in the heavenlies.

I take my place with Him in the heavenlies and recognize by faith that all wicked spirits and Satan himself are under my feet. I declare, therefore, that satan and his wicked spirits are subject to me in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I am thankful for the Armor you have provided. I put on the Gridle of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the sandals of peace and the Helmet of Salvation. I lift up the shield of faith against all the fiery darts of th enemy, and I take in my hand the Sword of the Spirit, the word of God. I choose to use your word against all the forces of evil in my life. I put on this armor and live and pray in complete dependence upon you, blessed Holy Spirit. I am grateful, Heavenly Father, that the Lord Jesus Christ spoiled all principalities and powers and made a show of them openly and triumphed over them in Himself. I claim all that victory for my life today. I reject all the insinuations, and accusations and the temptations of Satan. I affirm that the Word of God is true and I choose to live today in the light of God's word. I choose, Heavenly Father, to live in obedience to you and in fellowship with yourself.

Open my eyes and show me the areas of my life that do not please you. Work in me to cleanse me from all ground that would give Satan a foothold against me. I do in every way stand into all that it means to be your adopted child and I welcome all the ministry of the holy spirit. By faith and in dependence upon you, I put off the fleshly works of the evil one and stand into all the victory of the crucifixion where the lord Jesus Christ provided cleansing from the old nature. I put on your holiness and stand into all the victory of the resurrection and the provision he has made for me to live above sin. Therefore, today I put off all forms of selfishness and put on the new nature with its love.

I put off all the forms of fear and put on the new nature with its courage. I put off all forms of weakness and put on the new nature with its strength. I put off all forms of lust and put on the new nature with its righteousness, purity and honesty. I am trusting you to show me how to make this practical in my daily life. In every way I stand into the victory of the ascension and glorification of the lord Jesus Christ, whereby all the principalities and powers were made subject to him.

I claim my place in Christ as victorious with him over all the enemies of my soul. Blessed holy spirit, I pray that you would fill me. Come into my life, break down every idol and cast out every foe. I am thankful, heavenly father, for the expression of your will for my daily life as you have shown me in your word. I therefore, claim all the will of God for today. I am thankful that you have blessed me with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. I am thankful that you have begotten me unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. I am thankful that you have made a provision so that today I can live filled with the spirit of God with love and joy and peace, with long-suffering, gentleness and goodness, with meekness, faithfulness and self-control in my life.

I recognise that this is your will for me and I therefore reject and resist all the endeavours of Satan and his wicked spirits to rob me of the will of God. I refuse in this day to believe my feelings and I hold up the shield of faith against all the accusations and distortion and insinuations that Satan would put into my mind. I claim the fullness of the will of God for my life today. In the name of the lord Jesus Christ, I completely surrender myself to you, heavenly father, as a living sacrifice. I choose not to be conformed to this world. I choose to be transformed by the renewing of my mind, and I pray that you would show me your will and enable me to walk in all the fullness of your will today.

I am thankful, heavenly father, that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, to the casting down of imagination and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge God, and to bring every thought into obedience to the lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, in my own life today I tear down the strongholds of Satan and smash the plans of Satan that have been formed against me. I tear down the strongholds of Satan against my mind, and I surrender my mind to you, blessed holy spirit.

I affirm, heavenly father, that you have not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind. I break and smash the strongholds of Satan formed against my emotions today and I give my emotions to you. I smash the strongholds of Satan formed against my will today, I give my will to you and choose to make the right decision of faith. I smash the strongholds of Satan formed against my body today, I give my body to you recognising that I am your temple. I rejoice in your mercy and goodness.

Heavenly father, I pray that now and through this day you would strengthen and enlighten me. Show me the way Satan is hindering and tempting and lying and distorting the truth in my life. Enable me to be the kind of person that would please You. Enable me to be aggressive in prayer and faith. Enable me to be aggressive mentally, to think about and practice your word, and to give you your rightful place in my life. Again, I cover myself with the blood of the lord Jesus Christ and pray that you, blessed holy spirit, would bring all the work of the crucifixion, all the work of the resurrection, all the work of the glorification, and all the work of Pentecost into my life today.

I surrender myself to you. I refuse to be discouraged. You are the God of all hope. You have proven your power by resurrecting Jesus Christ from the dead, and I claim in every way this victory over all the satanic forces in my life. I pray in the name of the lord Jesus Christ with thanksgiving and praise to you alone. Amen.

At the time Jesus said, "Father, Lord of heaven and earth! I thank you because you have shown to the unlearned what you have hidden from the wise and learned. Yes, Father, this was how you were pleased to have it happen.

"My Father has given me all things. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.

"Come to me, all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke and put it on you, and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit; and you will find rest. For the yoke I will give you is easy, and the load I will put on you is light". (Matthew 11.25-30)

Dearest Abba, Father, thank You for turning my disappointments into opportunities for growth and learning. I know that only You can close the gap between my expectations and reality. Guide me in trusting You through every situation, even if I can't understand why it's happening at the time, please help me trust You and empower me through Your Spirit to stop my emotions from bossing me around. I want to quit worrying about what might happen and focus on what has already happened by remembering and praising You for Your faithfulness in my life. When I am in distress and when I cry, You ride the heavens to save me. Because I trust in You, You don't disappoint me. Thank You for loving me. You have shown me more love than I deserve. Lord Jesus I am sorry for my critical attitude towards. In your name I release her/him from my unkind judgment, accusation or condemnation, under which I had placed him or her through my lack of charity. I pray your Spirit may move freely into his/her life and your loving plan for him/her will be fully realized. Amen

Write down names or initials of persons who hurt you and whom you hate, dislike or avoid. Tell Jesus how you feel about that person. Bring before Jesus the hurt along with that person. Ask Jesus to heal you and give you a forgiving heart with great love for that person. Pray for that person, bless that person, keep praising and thanking for that person. Jesus will lead you to meet that person to come back to normal love relationship. Keep saying, “In the name of Jesus I forgive you (name). In the name of Jesus I love you”. (Repeat until it comes from the heart).

In the same way ask forgiveness of those people whom you have hurt. Pray for that person to be healed of the hurt. Bring that person before Jesus. Ask him/her, “In the name of Jesus I ask your forgiveness”. Keep repeating and release that person in the name of Jesus from all negative feelings towards you.

How to Pray the Rosary

The Rosary is made up of 'Decades'. A decade is one 'Our Father' followed by ten 'Hail Marys' and a 'Glory Be'.

Whilst it is usual to say five decades
at time, it is better to say one decade well, rather than five decades badly.

Begin with the sign of the cross.

Pray the 'Apostles Creed' holding the crucifix and continue on the straight piece of the Rosary with one Our Father, three Hail Mary's and a Glory Be, as shown in the picture.

Then start the first decade, pray one 'Our Father' moving on the circular piece of the Rosary, continue with ten 'Hail Marys' and finish with Glory be and the Fatima Prayer.

Continue the same prayer with other four decade of the rosary and complete one full circuit of the beads. After completing the entire decades pray "Hail Holy Queen", the prayer to "St. Michael Archangel" and the 'Memorare' are very powerful prayers.

Happy are those
     who reject the advice of evil men,
who do not follow the example of
     sinners
or join those who have no use for
     God.
Instead, they find joy in obeying the
     Law of the LORD,

Prayer for Repentance

O Lord, in your great goodness and mercy you promise forgiveness and salvation to those who repent of their sin against you. You, Lord, are the God of righteous people.

Repentance was not necessary for
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, for they did not sin against you. But for sinners like me you have made repentance possible. I have committed more sins than there are grains of sand along the seashore.

They are so many, Lord, they are so many. I have done so much that is wrong that I am not worthy to turn my face towards heaven. I am crushed beneath the weight of my sin; I am bowed down by its heavy iron chain. I can find no relief, for I have made you angry.

I have set up idols everywhere; I have done what you hate. But now I bow in deep humility, praying for your mercy. I have sinned, Lord, I have sinned; I confess the wicked things I have done. I beg you, Lord, I earnestly pray: forgive me, forgive me. Do not destroy me because of my sins; do not be angry with me forever or store up punishment for me.

Do not condemn me to the world of the dead, for you, O Lord, forgive those who repent. Show me all you mercy and kindness and save me, even though I do not deserve it. Then I will go on praising you as long as I live. All the heavenly powers sing your praises, and your glory endures forever Amen.

Work Accordingly to the Will of God

Each person has to work according tot he will of God. When we understand this, we will never face any difficulty or problem in carrying out our day to day work. On the other hand we will be filled with the joy of the Lord. For this we have to keep two things in our mind. First accept that whatever work we do, we do it for the Lord. But in reality the contrary is happening; we all want to do our will not God's will. The Word of God says "There is nothing I cannot do in the One who strengthens me" (Phil 4:13)

Without working hard we are not able to gain anything. When the Lord is with us, we will be able to do everything. We read in (LK 18:27) that "He replied, things that are impossible by human resources are possible for God." for doing good less energy is consumed than energy used for doing bad. "May you be made strong with all the strength that comes from his glorious power and may you be prepared to endure everything with patience, while joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has enabled you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light" (Col.1:11-12).

In our day to day life for everything both good and bad alike, we have to exert energy i.e. work. For e.g. for eating, dressing up, for drinking etc. our energy is exerted. After satisfying our basic necessities also, we continue to work for achieving out higher expectations. We should not forget that "Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labour in vain" (Ps.127:1)

In the same way we work for achieving bad things such as satisfying bodily desires, reading bad books, fighting each other, maintaining illegal relations etc. In short we spent more of our energy on bad things than good things.

TOBIT'S PRAYER

Then with much grief and anguish of heart I wept, and with groaning began to pray:

You are righteous, O Lord

and all your deeds are just;

all your ways are mercy and truth;

you judge the
world.

And now, O Lord, remember me

and look favourably upon me.

Do not punish me for my sins

and for my unwitting offences

and those that my ancestors

committed before you.

They sinned against you,

and disobeyed your

commandments.

So you gave us over to plunder, exile,

and death,

to become the talk, the byword,

and an object of reproach,

among all the nations among

whom you have dispersed us.

And now your many judgements are

in exacting penalty from me for

commandments

and have not walked in

accordance with truth before

What is the meaning of forgiveness....?

We now try to find out the meaning of forgiveness for our lives. It is good to understand the way the forgiveness works in our lives. We find many occasion of forgiveness in our daily life and how we tackle the situations. It is looked through three different angles namely expression, devotion and expectation.

Expression - love: Forgiveness always expresses in love. Without love forgiveness is incomplete. So if anyone claims that he forgives and cannot express his forgiveness, in reality he is never able to forgive. The real forgiveness is expressed in love towards all, even to the enemies. There is no distinction in its expression. The heart becomes clear and one can love from the heart. This is the real sign of expression of love. There are no more burdens, pains, hurt feeling in the heart instead the heart will be occupied with love, joy and peace. This expression of love will not in between. When love flows there are no blocks in between nor does it break from time to time if it is genuine love. Those who learn to grow in love? may go through the breaking and blocking of the love.

Devotion - Love: In real forgiveness the devotion is only towards love. What is not true will not be accepted by them. If not our devotion is towards the truth. Those who speak the truth and guide us into truth will become our best friends. those who are leading us to sin and evil will never be taken as either friends or advisers for our lives. In real forgiveness, our devotion is towards love not to any of our material gains. The benefits and gifts will not change our attitude. If there is no proper love and forgiveness our interest will be in things and the person we like most not in those who are genuinely interested in our growth into love.

Expectation - Love: The human life gives the best result in it only when it is guided and lead to the habit of love. There is no life that can be beautiful without love. The expectation of forgiveness is love. When we expect love only then we can have it in our lives. When we stress that our desires to be fulfilled in our lives then there comes unforgiveness. The forgiveness will work only if we expect love and work for love. There is no other middle pathway. When our expectation turns from love and moves to anything else that can lead us tot he feeling of resentments, negative anger, hatred, unforgiveness etc. Then be sure that we have not forgiven. When our expectation moves around selfishness the same thing can happen. When we are biased or when we become partial, or even when we expect our own good i.e. anything other than love can lead one to the same situation of unforgiveness in one's life. The channels of love work only when we are in the line of love and in the expectation of love.

Soul of my soul, I adore Thee, Enlighten, guide, strengthen and console me. Tell me what I ought to do and command me to do it. I promise to be submissive in all that you shall ask me and to accept all that you permit to happen to me. Only show me what is your will. Amen.

Breathe into me, the Holy Spirit that my thoughts may be holy. Move in me, Holy Spirit that my work may be holy. Attach my heart Holy Spirit, that I may love only what is holy.

Guide me - In all my works
