There are many tools bloggers need to keep there blogs looking good. One of those tools is a banner generator. I have searched the web for one of these that will give me everything I want in a banner maker. And today, my search has ended! I have finally found the best free banner generator yet and I am so excited I just had to share with my readers. I created a banner for one of my other blogs using this site. I normally like to use sites that will allow me to just put in the info and save the banner or get the code immediately. I am not to fond of having to sign up and create accounts on sites. It gets annoying when you have to create accounts and user names and passwords for every site you want to use. But, after I created my banner and clicked save, it asked me to create an account and it did irritate a bit, but it is well worth it! It will save your banners and give you html code for sites such as blogger and MySpace. So here is the site I found! And below is the banner I created for one of my other blogs. Free Traffic Exchanges

Generating traffic to your website can be extremely challenging. I personally do not use sites that I have to pay for. I use only free sites when it comes to surfing for credits. It has taken a while to learn which ones I really like, but right from the start, Traffic Swarm has been my favorite. I am very loyal surfer and a free member. Of course, all the sites offer you the option to upgrade or buy credits for more benefits and that is fine if you have the money to pour into these sites in order to get traffic to your site. If you can't upgrade, it will just take a bit of your time and effort to generate some traffic. I love Traffic Swarm because as a free member, you can earn 1-1000 credits on any single click. As of this post, the highest I have earned from a single click is 500 credits. I only surf exchanges that have a 1:1 surfing ratio. I do not see surfing anything higher as beneficial. It takes way too much for me to surf at 2:1 and 3:1 ratios. What that means is that you have to surf 2 sites for one credit, or visitor to your site. Any site I refer you too will have a 1:1 ratio. Creating Blogrolls and Blog List Archives

As I was surfing around the other day, I came across some really great info. Many bloggers may already know this , but I didn't and I thought I would share two things with my readers today. First is about putting a blogroll on your blog. Now this is easy. Basically, all you have to do is go blogger in draft, choose you layout to the blog you wish to add, click on page elements and choose blog list. Also, some newer features are adding Google gadgets, subscriptions links, and a search box for your blog. All of these options can be selected in the add page elements section.

The second matter I would like tend to is blog archives. I am not a huge fan of the blogger archive choices, so I went on a mission to find other options. So far, this has worked well for me because all I wanted was just a list of my posts. Just a simple list that would automatically update each time I made a post. It is displayed on the links archive on this page. For a while, I used the link element and just put in each new post. But thanks to this easy piece of html code, I am now a happy camper. Every now and then, I do have a problem with my archive not showing up, but that is very rare. Taking Online Surveys

It is true that you can get paid to take online surveys. Some people do very well making money this way. Personally, I am not a big fan of taking surveys. It is very time consuming and if you do not like to sit for a long period of time, this may not be for you. How do you know which survey sites are the best? This is a very hard question because there are thousands of survey sites and not all are legitimate. I have had experience with many survey sites and here is what I have learned:

You must live the right area, be the right age and race-Many times when asked my location, race or age I was automatically declined to continue with the survey.
Sometimes, the payment isn't worth the time- All too often survey sites will send you an offer of payment that will only be $1.00 for a 20 minute survey. Forget it!!!
PTR sites suck-Some survey sites offer you surveys and PTR(paid to read emails). The downfall to most of those is you may only get 1/2 cent and some as low as 1/4 cent to read an email. Get real, you do the math. The only way to be successful here is to get a bunch of suckers to sign up under you and then you profit from their clicks.
Only taking a half a survey- This one really pisses me off! I get an invitation to take a 20 minute survey and get paid something like $5 or $10. Fifteen minutes into the survey, you answer a question and suddenly a message pops up that says "We are sorry, but you did not qualify to complete this survey." Makes you want to rip the computer apart!
Learn to lie-This is a requirement if you want to be successful at taking surveys. There are some companies that you will be offered a descent amount, but you will get disqualified for some reason. Remember what it was because chances are, you will get another survey just like it and it may be from a different company. Surveys about products such as food or shampoo are easy because even if you do not consume or use the product, act like you do.

Now if you would like to take your chances at surveys, that is fine. You learn from trial and error and I have made money from a few sites that I have weeded out. The only problem is I do not get alot offers from the companies, but I know they pay. Buzzback is one survey site I like alot. I may only get a few surveys a month from them, but they do pay and their surveys aren't really long for the payment they offer. Your2Cents is another site that I have been paid on time for taking surveys. How would you like to get your hands on a huge list of sites like this? Not only can you find out about survey sites, but mystery shopping, merchandising, and many other work from home job listings. All these are bonuses when you join WebColleagues. This is a site that teaches you how to make money online many different ways. They have changed my life and my knowledge of computers and the internet. One way of making money is to start blogging. This is one of my blogs, however, I do not make alot of money from it because I haven't really put forth alot of effort promoting it. I would rather inform people of the things I have learned through trial and error in hopes of helping people from getting scammed. My most popular blog is The Spiral Staircase:Live Drug Free. I have no regrets about joining WebColleagues. In my opinion, they are hands down the best source for learning how to make money online. Did you know you can get paid to chat? Joining an online community can earn you a few extra dollars. There are sites popping up everyday that are trying to get in on this newest online epidemic. I cannot provide you with each and every website that pays you to participate, but I can refer a few. A good idea is to do a search on Google or Yahoo by typing in keywords such as "paid forums" or "discussion sites." Another good one is "paid to post" and that will show you many sites. Just don't get involved with too many at one time. It can become difficult trying to keep up with many sites at one time. Data entry programs are swarming the internet and in most cases, they are nothing but scams. The owners of the programs make their money by ripping other people off. They show you how to make thousands online, but it seems to me there is always something that is being left out. Or maybe I just don't get it. I understand it takes a lot of work and determination to succeed in the business. When I first started this business, I personally had no computer experience, not enough to know how to do some of the things that are talked about. Taking Online Surveys: The Search For Free Survey Sites

Ok, let's be honest here. How many online survey sites have you been to and started taking the survey only to get one page after another full of "offers" that you have to answer yes or no to. And these pages seem endless. I personally do not like those type of offers, but maybe some people do. Most of them, you have to have a credit card, order something, and then if you don't cancel within the alloted time, your card will be charged full price. Take for instance the "Video Professor." You will come across offers all over the internet for this product. Sites such as "Inbox Dollars" or "SnapDollars" will have offers like this. Both of these sites also have many free offers and are very good sites to earn a little extra cash. Just don't expect to get rich from it. Usually offers such as the "Video Professor" will give you a cash bonus into your account for signing up and upon approval of your credit card. The offer may state "make $20 by signing up for Video Professor." Always read the fine print and know what you are paying for. This offer usually costs $5.95, which they claim is for S & H. But if you do not cancel within the time allowed, you will then be charged $76.95 for your first payment. Only THEN do you get that $20 for signing up. Let's look at a few survey sites that I have found that are free to join and that pay in cash. Many surveys offer rewards and points that you can accumulate to claim cash or prizes. I personally like the ones that pay cold hard cash, and even though a few sites have a combination of both, it will be worth it to join those.

TreasureTrooper.com - One of the most popular survey sites. It is not only surveys, but you can have fun by playing games. Complete offers,many of which are free, and go on treasure hunts for cash and prizes.
A.W. Surveys - This is a newer survey site, but it is a great one. I made $27 after I signed up and within 45 minutes.
Your2cents.com - My favorite because it usually pays good. The more information you have on your profile, the more chances for surveys you will have. This is one I wouldn't pass up.
SurveySpot - Take surveys and earn cash and prizes through instant win games, cash sweepstakes or cash awards.
Opinion Outpost - Fill out surveys and collect opinion points to redeem for cash and prizes.
BeenPaid.com - Not an actual survey site but very informative. Gives you information on survey sites that have paid their members and those that have taken the money and ran without paying anybody.
Fusion Cash - A great site to earn some extra cash. Once again, you may not get rich, but this is one of the better sites for completing offers and getting paid.
MindfieldOnline - Offer good surveys and actually not bad on the pay. Get several per week or more depending on your profile and demographic region.
Survey Savvy - Make sure you fill out your profile in order to receive more survey opportunities. The more information you provide, the more surveys you will be eligible for.
Brand Institute - Online Global Recruiting in search of clients to participate in new surveys for various popular companies.

I will add more to this list soon. These are just a few of the better sites I have signed up with that really do pay. I have filtered through hundreds to find a few good ones, and I know there are more out there that I haven't come across. So, please feel free to leave comments on those good survey sites so that I may add them for others to view. There are a few paid survey sites listed in the left column of this page. These are highly recommended paid survey sites, but please read my previous posts if you are interested in more than just taking online surveys.

This company will provide you with many ways to make money online including data entry jobs, the best online survey sites, secret shopping sites and much more.

First on my list is a company called Web Colleagues. This is my personal favorite. I have experienced outstanding customer service from this company. Every time I have had a question that I emailed to them, I received responses within 24 hours, usually less(as little as 2 or 3 sometimes). I urge you to at least visit the website and read what they have to offer, it is all laid out for you, including the bonuses they offer to their members. For a limited time, the membership fee has been reduced so low that you almost will not believe it when you see it! Great all around package!
Second place goes to an underdog of sorts. Her story is a classic "rags to riches" and everyone should at least read what she has to offer. She is truly genuine and understands how hard learning the ropes of the net can be. "Honest Riches 2" by Holly Mann is excellent for those in other countries because she shares information about websites people in other countries may have a hard time finding. (Highly recommended for online work in UK)
Third place in my book will go to someone I am sure most everyone who has even thought about doing any kind of online work has heard about. The Rich Jerk. Yea, that's right. That jerk is actually on to something. He isn't rich for no reason. He is straightforward and to the point, no bullcrap. He is kind of cocky, so for those who can't handle that kind of attitude, maybe you should stick with one of the other programs. The Rich Jerk boasts that he is better than you and me, after all he has nice cars, jets, and mansions.
