Kart Sim Noticias Beta

Después del fiasco de Diciembre por el retraso del lanzamiento de la Beta de este simulador de Karts KartSim, Zach Griffin desde su Facebook da un parte de como va el desarrollo de este.

Casi todos los errores que tuvieron a finales de año están arreglados y se esta trabajando duro en el soporte de Hardware:

"90% of the bugs that prevented the December release have been fixed. I’m currently working on improving the performance and adding additional features that were highlighted as missing in the last round of testing. These additional features are mainly support for gamepads (i.e. Steering help), default controller profiles (i.e. Out of the box support for G27s, Fanatec wheels, Xbox controllers with tuned Force Feedback settings etc), Server Admin support (i.e. Instant kick, ban etc) and visual helpers for rolling starts (i.e. Indicators for which lane the player is in, who you must follow, what speed to maintain etc). As much as I want to let you guys all try the Beta now, I’m sure you would also appreciate how much better the experience will be once these additional features are in place and the remaining bugs are fixed. I won’t give a release date, but will say the wait will be worth it. If you thought the Blog #1 gameplay footage was good, you’ll be blown away by how it looks and plays now!

F1 2012 RebBull RB8 Presentado

RedBull ha presentado su nuevo monoplaza RB8 para la temporada F1 2012 en su página web con un vídeo y de momento con muy pocas imágenes donde podemos ver una evolución de su espectacular RB7 que muy buenos resultados le ha dado ha todo el equipo en el pasado año.

Como novedades más palpables a la vista podemos ver el morro de pato menos agresivo que los demás que lo han usado y unos escapes nuevos para la nueva normativa.

Veremos que tal esta la cosa este 2012 con las evoluciones tanto de Mclaren y Ferrari pero que no tenemos que olvidar a Lotus que tendrá en sus filas a otro campeón del mundo como es Kimi Raikkonen.

rFactor rF_HighVoltage V1.1 DRS & KERS

Fsone Ipm ha liberado una nueva versión de su utilidad para rFactor rF HighVoltage DRS and Kers, con muchísimas mejoras y que hacen este addon para rF mucho más estable que versiones anteriores.

rF_HighVoltage is a software which simulates DRS and KERS in rFactor. It supports the current Formula 1 (™) rules concerning DRS and KERS, but also supports the possibility to configure it following own rules.
There are already a few solutions on the market, which are developed around the in-game possibilities. But most of them are strugling when it comes to the point to prevent the user from activating KERS when the batteries are empty, or activating DRS when the car isn’t in the required distance to the competitor in front.

rF_HighVoltage is able to do all of this:

- Enable/Disable DRS globally
- DRS disabled within the first 2 laps in a race session
- Up to 2 detection points
- Up to 4 activation zones
- Free usage of DRS in practice, qualyfication and warm-up
- Usage of DRS only within the activation zones if the car was within 1 second to the competitor in front at the detection point
- Visually switch the rearwing when activating/deactivating DRS (Depending on the used mod)
- Enable/Disable KERS globally
- Control the strength of the KERS "effect"
- Control how long the much extra power is available per lap
- "Recharge" the battery when driving over the start/finish line
- When the battery is empty, KERS can’t be activated for the rest of the lap
- All performance relevant settings are configured using the RFM-file of the mod. That ensures that somebody who accidently modified settings in that file will get a mismatch error when joining a gameserver.
- Other settings (like key assignments) are store in a simple configuration file along with the program.
- Forces the drivers to use only original ISI software. Patched or cracked rFactor installations will not work with rF_HighVoltage!

rF_HighVoltage was developed by Kikoni from International Pro Modding. and Achim Ennenbach From SimSyncPro.

Achim Ennenbach es el creador of the SimSyncPro, SimSync PRO (abbr. Sync) is a software, which syncronizes a local installation of rFactor®, GTR²®, GTL® and Race 07-Installation (incl. Add-Ons e.g. GTR-Evolution, STCC, etc.) with the game server.

Of cause, rF_HighVoltage has been tested together with the current version of this first class mod, but also with the next version FSOne (which will be released in a few weeks). rF_HighVoltage will be fully integrated in the next FSOne release, but it isn’t limited to this specific modification. Within the last few month rF_HighVoltage has been tested together with different Formula 1 mods.

Be aware that rF_HighVoltage is still in beta status. Even after extensive testing during the last weeks, this software may not work like expected.

rFactor 2 BMW F1 08 W.I.P by F1RUK

Nuevo proyecto para rFactor 2 gracias a F1RUK con los F1 del 2008 en la imagen se puede ver como esta quedando el BMW en pista, ya hay más de un mod de F1 en proyecto para que salgan en breve y podamos ver pronto de lo que es capaz el nuevo simulador, de momento el sonido es sencillamente espectacular como se puede ver en el vídeo.

Nuevo plugin/display para rFactor 2 TracMap 0.9 por FazerBox, es una versión beta pero que esta muy trabajada en la imagen podemos obtener una idea de lo que nos informa en tiempo real este plugin, muy completo.

INSTALLATION

1) Locate <rFactor2 folder> that contains "rFactor2 launcher.exe"
2) Explode Zip file <rFactor2 folder>
3) Run rFactor2 and enjoy!

HOW TO INSTALL A NEW TRACK MAP

After having installed a new Track in rFactor2, you need to extract relative AIW and GDB files into rFactor2 installation folder>\Plugins\TrackMap\Tracks

1) Locate <rFactor2 folder>\Installed\Locations\<New Installed Track>
2) Open each MAS file using MAS2.exe utility (see <rFactor2 folder>\Support\Tools).
Once MAS file is loaded, order grid rows by "Type" object. in this way AIW and GDB files will be first in list
3) Extract (Right click in selected file) all AIWs and GDBs into <rFactor2 folder>\Plugins\TrackMap\Tracks
