Homemade Gnocchi with Sweet Italian Sausage Sauce

Gnocchi Recipe:

Boil 3 Russet potatoes in salt water

until very tender.

After they cool down smash them with a fork and

add 1 large egg

2 tsp salt

2 cups all purpose flour

roll out into logs and cut them to desired size

boil into salt water until they float to the top

wait 5 minutes and take them out.

Note: You can brown these up in a separate skillet

by adding a little butter and olive oil with some

garlic or whatever herb you desire.

Sweet Italian Sausage Sauce

I used this sausage

and these tomatoes

I took the casings off the sausage and browned it up and then added the tomatoes and cooked them for 10 minutes then I added the gnocchi to the sauce and topped with Parmesan cheese.

Homemade Laundry Soap - This recipe really really works!

Not only is it affordable, but one recipe will last for months.

Here is the materials needed:

Ingredients:

1 4 lb 12 oz box Borax (2.15 kg or

76 oz)

1 4 lb box Arm & Hammer Baking

Soda (1.81 kg)

1 box Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda 55 oz (3 lb 7 oz)

3 bars of Fels-Naptha soap

1 container of Oxy Clean

2 cups Laundry scent crystals

Can Use Zote Soap as well, and I'll post this below with how

to make this.

Perfect Fried Chicken

8 chicken leg drumsticks

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream
of chicken or mushroom soup

1 1/2 tsp. seasoning salt

1 egg

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cornstarch

2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 teaspoons paprika

3/4 tsp. seasoning salt

pepper to taste

oil for frying

1.	In a shallow dish or bowl combine the soup, egg and seasoning salt (be careful, as soup is already salted); mix together. Dip chicken in mixture and turn to coat completely. Set aside.
2.	In a resealable plastic bag mix together the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper. One at a time, place chicken pieces in bag, seal and shake to coat. Add more flour and/or cornstarch as necessary, but add them in equal parts (there should be an equal amount of each in the mixture).
3.	Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 375 degrees F. Be sure to use enough oil to cover chicken pieces.
4.	Place coated chicken on a baking sheet or platter and allow to sit until it becomes moist/doughy (this ensures nice and crispy chicken)
5.	Fry chicken pieces in oil for about 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through and juices run clear. Drain on baking rack or paper towels and serve.

Make your own Ranch, Dry Onion Soup Mix and Taco Seasoning | Country Cooking Recipes

Taco Seasoning:

1/2 cup chili powder
1/4 cup onion powder
1/8 cup ground cumin
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon sea salt
Put ingredients into a jar and shake.

Dry Onion Soup Mix:
2/3 cup dried, minced onion
3 teaspoons parsley flakes
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons turmeric
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
Mix all ingredients in a jar, then give the jar a good shake. I’d recommend shaking the jar to mix the ingredients well before each use.
Use 4 tablespoons in a recipe in place of 1 packet of onion soup mix. Store this in a dry, cool place.

Ranch:
5 tablespoons dried minced onions
7 teaspoons parsley flakes
4 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Mix together and store in an air tight container.
For dressing: Mix 2 tablespoons dry mix with 1 cup mayonnaise and 1 cup buttermilk or sour cream.
For dip: Mix 2 tablespoons dry mix with 2 cups sour cream.
Mix up a few hours before serving, so the flavors all blend.

1 lb. ground beef
2 c. chopped onion
1 c. ketchup
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 c. prepared spicy brown mustard
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. crushed dried red pepper
2 lbs. frankfurters & buns

Cook beef and onion. Drain off excess fat. Stir in ketchup, corn syrup, mustard, vinegar, chili powder and red pepper. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for 30 minutes.

What are Oxygen Absorbers and how do they work?

Oxygen absorbers use a base metal (iron) and a basic chemical reaction (oxidation) to remove and sequester oxygen inside the little packet. If you open a packet up you will see a dark gray or black substance, which is just powdered iron. As a packet is used up, the material inside the packet will become a little hard and crunchy, and will turn a reddish brown.

How Many Oxygen Absorbers Should I use?

A general rule of thumb is to use 300-500cc of oxygen absorber per gallon of food you are storing.

A little chart on how that works out:

1 Quart Bag - 100cc oxygen absorber

1 Gallon Bag - 1-2 300cc oxygen absorbers

2 Gallon Bag - 2-500cc oxygen absorbers or 1-1000cc oxygen absorber

5 Gallon Bag - 1-2 2000cc oxygen absorbers or 2-3 1000cc oxygen absorbers

Ingredients

3/4 to 1 lb boneless country-style pork ribs

1/2 teaspoon garlic-pepper blend

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 cup teriyaki baste and glaze

2 tablespoons chili sauce or ketchup

2 tablespoons pineapple preserves

1 Spray 1 - 1 1/2-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Trim fat from ribs, and cut in half to fit slow cooker. Sprinkle ribs with garlic-pepper blend and ginger; place in slow cooker.

2 In small bowl, mix remaining ingredients; pour over ribs.

3 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 7 to 8 hours.

4 Remove ribs from slow cooker. Skim off and discard fat from surface of liquid in slow cooker. Stir mixture well; serve with ribs.

If you've purchased country-style ribs with bones (instead of boneless), you'll need 1 to 1 1/4 lb to make this dish. Cut them into sections to fit in the slow cooker.
