Blog has come a long way since it started online in 1994, when it was used

to be called “weblog”. Weblog back then was just a simple diary page where

people could post about their daily lives. Soon after in 1997, the term

“weblog” was shortened to what we know today as blog.

Since I began blogging in 2006, there were about 55 Million blogs but as at

today in 2008, there are well over 150 Million blogs online and it’s growing at

an exponential rate!

Search engine loves blogs and that’s great news for many marketers out

there. I guess that is the reason why blogging is picking up speed. To create

a blog, you would require two things- a dedicated hosting service and a

domain name.

There are many different kinds of software on the marketplace where you

can easily create blog like Wordpress, Moveable Type, Blogger, Xanga or

LiveJournal.

But to create profitable blogs, you must know that there are only two popular

after spending time to create post is to spend a little more time to check the

grammar and spelling of your post content. A quick way is to use the Firefox

browser to type your content as they have a built- in spell checker. You can also copy

your content to Microsoft Words to check for grammatical error.

2 – Do Not Write If You Do Not Have Ideas What To Write

When posting, have a minimum word length about 250 words or more. And

do not post on your blog for the sake of posting. You must remember that

people spend their precious time reading your post so your job is to ensure

you give them valuable information so that they would come back for more.

A quick way to get more content for your blog would be to go to Google

Videos and grab a 40-minute video clip on your topic. By doing so, you do

not have to write at all, you just have to put a video on your blog.

#3 – Do not Copy Content From Others

When posting content on your blog, please avoid using duplicate content or

copyright content from others. You would be in for trouble when they find out

you steals content from them.

However, what you can do is you can take ideas from others and paraphrase

them. You will be amazed that most top seller books you see today at

bookshops have similar content.

#4 – Do Not Post Offensive Post

Never post any form of writing that would offend anyone online. This is

especially so if it is someone you know and dislike, online or offline. It is

never civil to show your readers an offensive habit.

#5 – Never Put Direct Referral On External Hyperlinks On The Same

Window

More often than not, when people read your blog post, they will find

hyperlinks on your post. You should never allow these links to external sites

that are not yours to appear in your blog..

#6 – Do Not Hard Sell In Your Blog Post

I see this happening many times on many blogs of others who try too hard to

sell something on their blogs. They kept explaining why a product X should

be bought and insisted it’s the best product out there.

Instead of doing hard selling on your blog, what you should do is to

persuade. A soft- sell approach will be more effective and also gives your

readers some solid content so that they can benefit from reading your blog

Writing in a blog can sometimes lead you into talking about almost anything

that comes to your mind. It’s very important, that whatever content which

Dear Networker,

We all have blogs, mine is at various places. As a new blogger, I took my time yesterday researching online methods to promote my blog. I was stunned to come across millions of posts for this subject. I found out promotions can sometimes be fairly costly and some don’t even work.

So choose careful before you waste your time on something that doesn’t work. In brief here are some few ways I’ve that I think are excellent for new bloggers like me. Remember they are not guarantee to give you millions of readers in one day but will introduce your blog somehow to the world. Honestly if you are a new blogger or about to start, these are must read and try to work on it before your blog becoming "just another blog that no one will read".

The lists are for free methods and are not that complicated. I guess if you made it here you’ll probably concluded that these are either brilliant ideas or just one of those days I am lucky you have stumbling onto my blog. Okay enough said, here goes the list:-

1) Know your blog readers - it’s impossible to please everyone but instead you need to have a specific market.

2) Write the post with high quality - Try to write the post for at least 2000 words should not be any grammar or spell mistakes.

3) Social bookmarking - promoting selective links on a site like Digg or StumbleUpon.

4) Social messaging - Use twitter or facebook to promote your blog, see http://netmillionairesclub.ning.com

5) Newsletters - Email to your list about your latest post.

Traffic Resort is a new site that says it guarantees more CONVERTING web visitors and online advertising with very little effort or cost. So I decided to put it to the test...

My first impression was the site looks professional and clean, with an attractive look and feel. It is easy to read and understand. Joining the site was easy and painless--they do offer 2 upgrade options but they are not required to gain the benefits.

The Members Area is very well laid out and intuitive--I could figure out what to do after only a few minutes and was able to get up and running in less than 5 minutes. Inside the site, you create links and ads--the links you simply enter any URL links you use into the generator and it transforms them into "Traffic Resort" links. You create ads for anything you want to promote using the Traffic Resort Ad Generator, which is very easy to use. You can create as many links and as many ads as you like. And they are organized in a logical way--links are displayed in the order you create them but also your 5 most recent links appear on the main page for quick reference. Also, since the link generator is the tool you'll use most, it is also right at the top of the main page when you login. Very smart!

After you've created at least 1 link and 1 ad you can start to generate traffic. Just use and promote the new Traffic Resort link instead of the original source link you had. Every time the Traffic Resort link is clicked, the page loads followed by a cool slide-up ad window at the bottom. It displays an ad PLUS an image with your affiliate link that goes back to Traffic Resort. So if anyone clicks the Traffic Resort image they see the site, and if they signup they become your referral. What will an Ideal Passive Income System Consist Off?

From previous blogs and systems used and looked at by myself I found the following to be of utmost importance and the only way to succeed with the System.

✔ You have to find a system that will suit you that you can afford and that will be used and enjoyed by everyone

✔ To be really effective it should contain some form of monthly subscription, this will ensure a constant “passive” income.

✔ The system should be referable and those referrals should be able to attract commissions on a monthly basis, thereby once again leading to a passive income.

✔ If possible you should be able to earn referral commissions when your friends, and their friends refer up to a level of at least six but even better if more, say nine levels. This will make your work a lot easier and lead to fast growing referrals commission.

✔ The system you join should be an Income Network that would entitle you to a very healthy passive income over time.

✔ When the system that you belong to earns referral commission up to level eight or nine you will be entitled to a very good passive income over time.
Ideally you would:

✔ The system you belong to must pay high commissions on referrals, this will make the start up a lot quicker and passive income worth the effort.

✔ You should not be required to search for hundreds or thousands of new people to start making money.

✔ Preferably there should be no administrative work at all.

✔ You as the net worker should not need to sell the network must sell itself.

MAIN REASONS WHY YOU CAN'T CREATE A PASSIVE INCOME WITH MOST SYSTEMS

If you are looking at ways to earn money online to make your life easier without spending more time earning, you have to look at passive income, these are the things to avoid when looking for an opportunity.If you have been looking at all the "systems" available to make money online you would surely have found that most of them to be expensive and just plain "HYPE", like me.

1. Selling.In most cases you will have to sell to earn. Most of us do not like the idea of selling and would rather not get involved with a company and its products if we have to sell.

2. Recruiting.All systems include people, who you have to recruit and that is selling again and we do not want to sell, we do not want methods on how to sell.The recruiting methods they teach you, often don't work, or there are none.

3. Time-consuming.In the advertising they always tell you how much time you would have once the passive income was coming in, they never tell you it could take years. But once you start looking at the , the successful people, you will find that they are working harder than ever, have less time to spend on their passions, and were still not doing what they wanted to do.

4. Capital Investments.Almost all off the companies involved expect you to lay out money, up to $3200.00. The average is about $179.00. But if you need to make money, you don't have $179.00 to invest. To take this opportunity is and will always stay a risk. Most will not generate, most do not have systems that work and will fail you and you will not get your money back! You will have to work hard to make money.

5. Not making money.Most of the time you will not make money, you will spend a lot more than what you make and there is always hidden cost involved, more books more that!

6. Complicated systems.I found most systems to be very complicated, you need to be a bit off a computer boffin to understand it. You find yourself spending more and more time to understand it and to use it effectively. In the end you just give and once again start from scratch. More money down the drain.

7. Pushed to work harder.Let`s be honest, you are doing this to earn more money, a passive income, and you really do not need more pressure to perform. You do not need that additional pressure, especially because you are doing it in your spare time, you want to make money!

8. Poor Products or Services.Sometimes the product or service you are selling/promoting is just not of a high enough standard or just plain overpriced. To find other people to sell this to will be almost impossible.

9. Expensive products.If you are trying to make money and the product is expensive, who are you going to sell to if your friends are also broke, or if the product you are promoting/selling takes three months at least to be used, who will your market be, how will you make money? So now you once again need to know the right people or become a super salesperson.

10. Motivating People.Can you motivate people all the time if you need to do it. As we all know it is a pain in the neck. If your success is dependant on that it can become very difficult to maintain forward momentum.

11. Pressure to Perform.With most companies your earnings are dependant on your performance and this will put you under pressure all the time. If most of your earnings are based on performance it will send you in a buying frenzy all the time to reach targets so that you can put the money in your pocket, instead of just earning your passive income.

12. Support.So often there is no proper support to help you get started and make money. You struggle on your own and eventually have to give up.

13. The illusion.To earn a huge passive income is just a pipe dream. Why, in most systems you can never stop working. If you want to earn passive income you have to work continuously. For this reason you will find that 98% of people jumping headlong into will not succeed.

Their dream of making millions shattered for all or most of the reasons mentioned above.The above has been my experience of Internet marketing and earning a real passive income. Dear All,

It has been a long time since I have posted anything on my blog.

I do think it is due to the utter frustration I am experiencing to make my Affiliates and postings and advertising work and start making money. I really do understand why more than 90% of people getting involved in Network Marketing, be it Affiliates or MLM, gives it up. It is no walk in the park and definately does not make mountains of money within days, does not matter what you do.

I still do believe however that it will start one or other time and that I will make real money.

For those of you that does in fact belong to a group that really makes worthwhile money, let me know I would love to belong to an MLM or Affiliate that really makes some cash.

In the meantime we attended probably one of the best organised Wine Shows held in the Cape, with the most amazing people, wines and companionship you can ever find. a whole weekend of enjoying briliant company and the most beautifull places you can find. I will upload more photos later on.

How to Survive in these turbulent times!!!

Dear Readers,

When you come in contact with business people as I do on a daily basis, all you hear is how bad things are out there. There is no positive outlook and the bail -out plan to the banks are drawing a lot of criticism for the way it is administered and placed into effect.

Let`s be honest, the whole bail-out plan is being administered in totally the wrong way and it is not benefitting the people it should. Why do I say this during this BILLION DOLLAR bail-out period.

Well the BANKS that are receiving the bail-out is doing the following with it which is totally against the whole idea of the bail-out:

1)They are not making the funds allocated available to the people in the street that it is intended for, so no loans are available for the cash strapped community out there,

2) They are using the money to massage their own balance sheets to impress their share holders with their managing of the banks cash resources,

3)They are declaring dividends to their shareholders, to keep them happy with the bail-out money,

4)They are declaring obscene bonuses to their management staff and directors, all this at the cost of the clients who should have seen this money in their own pockets.

I want to tell you that it will be the worst thing you can do to go onto the markets now. We are living in a day and age where GAS prices are not dependant on supply and demand anymore and one thing for sure, the GOOD Companies are going to thrive in these times, it is just the natural selection process!!

So how do we as individuals and small business owners survive in this day and age?

The following comes to mind and using them as guidelines should assist you and your business in the near future:

What does your business actually do, what is your exit strategy, what is your break-even point? You have to know what your best selling product line or service is and build on that,
Your cash flow is extremely important during these times. You must know what to fix to strengthen it and how to do it quickly ,before it eat up your lively hood, is it space, people or stock you need to rectify,
You must do MARKET research, what part of your business is seen out there, how good is your service and your product, place a lot of emphasis on SERVICE it is extremely important in any type of business,
Organize yourself and your business, eliminate any type of inefficiency it does not matter where it is,
Remember the 80/20 rule. 80% of your sales from 20% of your customers.80% of you troubles from 20% of your customers. Sort out the problem customers because they are surely costing you in efficiency and manpower,
You must know what is in it for you, if you do not know ,find out or get out now,
You have to change the way you advertise your business, it must be VIRAL, and this is very important and will help you survive.

Keep the head up and implement a few of these and it will make you and your business survive the daily grind a lot better.
